Springfield Police Department: what do users think?
E. Robs: My family business was literally robbed and we just got a call saying they can't do anything. We have dates, photo and video evidence and potential names but they say they can't investigate it further. Useless. Absolutely and utterly useless.
Ivy Laine: Had a very much appreciated report and situation handled by a very honorable humble knowledgeable and concerned Officer Peng thank you for doing your job with pride. I know police officers have had a tough reputation these days with the media. Not officer Peng seems to have been brought up obviously by equally honorable family and can't say enough about how appreciative I am for his time and concern today
Daniel Bente: Been calling for 2 days now trying to update Info on a report.. nothing ZERO calls ZERO answers except on fb telling me to call.. how the hell do taxpayers not get the people they need?! Hmm.. I could order food 3 states away and it would be here sooner.. thank god no one is bleeding out..
Mason Carpenter: I was told to exit my car with my hands up and walk backwards to a police car then put in handcuffs on august 18th Thursday 1:00am...the police had five police cars surrounding near by. I guess there was a local shooting that just happened. There only description was a red Chevrolet Cruze which I have.. being that it was super early and no one is out I look like the one 😂. I will say overall after I found out why they pulled me over my nerves where relieved because I was innocent but man for a moment I was like what the hell just happened. My actual review is they where the perfect balance between nice and scary. I got no rudeness from them through the whole process and they where passionate with me.
Khodi Riley: Protect and serve who? What's the point in having police officers when they seem to be picking and choosing what "crimes" to stop and look into? Losing what little faith I have in this areas officers. In God we trust!!
Emily Baker: They only have 1 person answering the phones. I was on hold for TWO HOURS before I could talk to a live person
Logans Adventurizing: Grateful for their service. Truly fortunate to have them. As a trucker and social working family we’ve traveled and seen different groups of people. Never hear bad about them and they work a tough city. Thanks for the hard work.
Barbara McGrath: 5/18/22 11am-noon my pickup was stolen from Lowes parking lot. I call 911 & was told call this # to file a report. I didnt realize no officer would be dispatched to the scene. I called the # & was on hold apx. 40 min. & no officer had shown so I call 911 back & was told no officer had been dispatched. She asks if I wanted 1 dispatched , well yes.. I informed her my elderly mother was with & her portable oxygen was in the truck. She can go w/o it some, was hoping it wouldn't be an issue..I call the police station back to file the report & was on hold another 1hr&40 min. No officer showed at all & I was told none would. We along with the Lowes employees (Thank you for everything) who had informed me there was video were in disbelief at the nonresponse! We didn't know whether to get a ride & leave or stay so 4 hrs later finally got to go home. My mother stayed calm & made it & if they happen to spot the vehicle uhhuh ill get it back otherwise nothing will be done & it's unlikely the video will be viewed... I always thought they're crazy wanting to defund the police wth, now Im thinking why not... Their handling of it was worse than the crime! Are we becoming a lawless society full of victims or are we going to become a society where citizens take the law into their own hands?
Odessa Clayton: Somebody broke in and stole my medicine, and my pets and supplies for said pets, over $800 and nothing was done. I found what hotel they were at but not the room and the police told me to call them back if I found out what room they were in. They wanted me to investigate my own break in. Completely useless.
Sean Diaz Pham: Hey someone on Instagram were pretending to the police chief of the springfield police department by claiming they were doing an investigation on me when I live in a different state, and a different town in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania their names are Chairty Lynn Bennett and Nathan Leeper can they get into trouble for impersonating a police detective and a police officer?
Carol Keegan: I will praying for you all safe. I am proud of you all.Springfield Police Department are my best friends!
Larry Butler: I have requested several times for someone to try to slow traffic down in the construction zone on East Cherry..drivers speed though..sone doing over 60 mph..children walk this street on their way to and from school..barracades are being moved in order to bypass detours...dangerous situation here..spd just doesn't care
daiken seige: This took place last year. ( I wasn't big in reviews then )One of my neighbors fired a hand gun into an others house while my kids were outside. I of course called 911 and SPD was dispatched. Though they did nothing. I mean of course the searched and found the gun and what not. But my neighbor was found to be drunk and handling the gun. he was given a warning and was able to keep his fire arms ownership. Not only did he put my kids in danger but he put the other family in danger and almost killed someone ( Which was reported buy the officer ). i still can't believe how this was handled and was a main reason i moved out of the area I was living in.
Jason Owen: I own a company in this town! My alarm went off and I drove twenty minutes away and not one single officer! Told ADT to tell the cops to forget about it and I cleared the business myself!! This town is sad!!
Larissa Rasor: Yesterday morning, Saturday the 14th, after having worked my third shift job driving a truck, my right front tire blew out while trying to head home. I found myself stranded on the side of highway 44 in Springfield near Kansas expressway.I lost my mother to pancreatic cancer in April of 2014 and by June 2016 I lost my son. Since then, I have found myself alone without anyone to turn to in times of trouble. Having no one to call for help, I prayed that God would send me someone to save the day as it were. A few minutes later, an officer by the name of Spence pulled up behind me on the shoulder. Although, it's not his job, and he was taking a risk, he slipped on some gloves and proceeded to attempt to put on my spare tire. However, my Jack had rusted out because of a leaky trunk in an old, beat up car. So, officer Spence, using his own AAA account, called for roadside assistance for me. After waiting with me for about 30 to 40 minutes for the tow truck to arrive, the man from AAA put on my spare tire.I was a woman alone on the side of the road with no one to turn to or call for help. This officer came to my rescue. It wasn't his job to fix my car. It certainly wasn't his job to be willing to pay for someone to come out and fix it. Yet, he willingly came to my rescue. I just want the opportunity to say again, thank you so much officer Spence. You have renewed my faith in humanity and in the Springfield Missouri Police department.
Kacey Kakouris: I had my property stolen from me and they refuse to do anything about it
Joey A: This is what our officers do!! Nothing but respect for the firefighters and police!! You have probably saved unthinkable numbers of lives! This insanity breakers my heart!! Keep up the great job!!
Jt Weezy: I appreciate the response time, thanks for protecting the community.
Paul McBride: if every police department was as kind helpful and professional as the Springfield police department, the world would be a better place
Brandon Freeman: They were very gentle when handcuffing me, and the patrol vehicle was very clean and spacious. Overall, very professional. Will definitely be getting arrested again.
Jeff Powers: Newer police cruiser, handcuffs were stylish and fit well, free food. I would definitely come back to be arrested again.

Rogersville Police Department: what do users think?
Christian Schnake: I regularly watch trains in the area as it has been a lifelong hobby of mine but I have to constantly watch my back as the police in this town have stopped me several times, even when I’m a safe distance away from the railroad tracks and not causing any problems. I ask that you leave railfans alone unless they’re being dangerous.
Tiffany Brake: Doing the best job they've ever done and they always will cuz they get the job done and they always get their man go Rogersville Police Department.
Richard Dyer: The best in town.
Greg H: Had a detailed conversation with a law enforcement officer regarding a scenario in St Louis not far away about a theft by deception. The officer was informative and helpful as I do a lot of business in this area. Thanks again for your public service and the education.
Karolyn Huff: Our truck was stolen in the middle of the night. I truly believe if it wasn't for the RPD, especially Aaron Christian we would not have gotten our truck back within 6 hours unharmed. Thank you!!!! The Huff Family

Ozark Police Department: what do users think?
Deven Powers: Ozark cops like to show up when they want to ruin your day, and ignore you when your day is already going badly. For real. First day living there, I get two tickets. They made me wait for 30-35 minutes the other day because the old man playing dress up as an LEO couldn’t figure out how to print the tickets, so he printed me off two novellas and then apologized for wasting my time. But when I break down on the side of 65 twice in one day, it takes Officer Friendly like 3 hours to show up. He just told me to move it or he’s get me towed. Didn’t offer assistance. Thanks for the help! They live camping out between the Fremont Hills exit and Jackson St entrance by the way
Emily Dillan: Pros: Decent officers. Given the awkward circumstances of being arrested, answered all my questions and was able to understand me through my hysterical crying episode(s). First timer here. Did not get tasered. Did not get tackled. Handcuffs did not cut off circulation. I do still currently have functional hands. Jail staff didn’t beat me, even though I cried the whole time. My sister made them banana bread for putting up with me. (I wouldn’t eat it either, she’s not a very good baker and it was hard as a rock, but she tried so hopefully they waited until she left to throw it away) Jail was clean, food: edible, did not starve. Soap, not great but did the job. Was not shanked.Cons: Giving 4 stars because they spelled my name wrong on my mugshot and charge was incorrect, but I’m not guilty of the alleged crime(OBVIOUSLY) Errors possibly due to errors on the warrant, from a different county. Will potentially update to 5 stars if fixed.Overall, given the situation, I think Ozark Police Department did okay. Wouldn’t visit again though. Not my kind of place.
Cailey J: 5/21/22 @10:35pm license number PD3018 was speeding around 15 over the whole way down Jackson, where i’ve seen many people get pulled over for going 5 over. no lights on or anything. just speeding.
Silas John: Mixed review: DEFINATELY PROFILING.1 time pulled over for a tail-light down the street from my home. Asked for my 15 year old son's ID. He was the passenger.Another time I had a mechanic's note. A very nice and courteous officer.I'll update this review, but I've seen other attempts to pull me over 2 cars. 1 with direct eye contact from the subway parking lot. Another car down the street. ... Feel unsafe around CC and 22nd.*Update - apr. 29 2022* I was just pulled over. I didn't realize my tags were expired. A very courteous stop. They expired in FEB. SInce it'll be may soon, I'm VERY surprised no one told me and I got away with it for awhile. After running my ID and insurance they let me go with a warning to take care of it. +1 star for being a decent human being.
Lee S.: Very professional. Some of the best in the business work here.
Brey Ransom: They respond so quickly and are all a great team thank you guys for all you do !!!
BigSmoke500m: It has come to my attention that OPD harasses animals, but that’s okay, as the conge said too me during one of my detainments, “were all animals man” y’all go hunting too much
Brent Barham: OPD is always on the hunt weather it comes to the conge or pro jujitsu deer hunter officer Schwartz. My favorite story from them on the hunt comes from Schwartz. It goes,•deer goes to Casey’s to buy a pack of nattys•sees OPD officer pull up*gets detained*It sucks when you can’t even go hunting and seeing an officer runnin at a deer all Chester cheetah style from your deer stand takin your 12 point buck.9/10 most proficent small town police department.
Austin Smith: My wife was a victim in a case. Detective Tommy Wade did an incredible job in making sure the evidence was collected and preserved properly. Most importantly he made my wife feel safe. My wife said one time, "Tommy Wade is my Hero." The kindness he showed my wife while walking with her through the most traumatizing and difficult time in her life is amazing. I wish I could do more, but as I am a police officer now, all I can do is pay it forward with my actions on duty. Thank you for taking care of my wife when I was helpless and could do nothing more then hold her when she would wake up screaming and crying.Thank you over and over again.
Stephanie Feuerborn: I had the pleasure a meeting Officer Smith today. Officer Smith went above and beyond to help me try and recover my sons stolen iPhone. She was nice and respectful. I can’t thank her enough for the kindness she showed towards myself and family. Officer Smith represents the Ozark police department very well. Even though my situation was not an emergency or something that need to be looked into right away. Officer Smith got the ball rolling for me in the right direction. Hopefully we will be successful in recovering my sons phone.
John Reynolds: I was defrauded out of $600 on a new cell phone I was trying to purchase through a classified ad. The phone ended up being different than the one advertised. I was armed, met the seller in a public place, checked the serial number (IMEI) before the meeting and took some other simple precautions. I felt that I had enough evidence to prosecute, so called the Ozark Police Department to make a report. It was handled as professionally as I could ever hope for.In today's world of wonton violence against innocent men, women and children, I'm well aware of the difference between crimes against people and property crimes. Often property crimes fall through the cracks, as more serious crimes take precedence. The prioritization and valuation of man-hours and resources is understandable and expected. However, Officer Schwartz treated me with utmost concern while taking my report and Detective Appleton pursued this punk cell phone fraudster on my behalf. Detective Appleton's proficiency and communication were exemplary. My $600 has now been returned by the perpetrator and he has sufficiently apologized for his stunt.I just want people to know that the Ozark Police Department is indeed serving the public to the best of it's ability.
ryan (WreckitRaw): Police profile and harass but their receptionist is very polite and professional.
White River: 7-24-2017 I bought a car in st louis today and was pushing to get back to branson. Short blonde female officer pulled me over on 65. She was direct, understanding, and polite. This was much different then when I got pulled over as a kid. Its good to see quality training and she seemed to care about respecting those she pulls over and I appreciate that. I had forgotten to screw in my gas cap and she even put that back in for me. I appreciate good service even if in situations you normally would think are negative.
