Ron Weigel: Really helpful. Great people.
Nancy Tofflemire: My mom, Audrey, has bought 2 Janomes here within 1 year. Whenever any of her 3 sewing machines need a little maintenance, your experts complete the repairs. The women in the store are always cheerful and ready to help.We rate y'all as 5+ stars!
Roxanne Last: Very helpful and friendly service!
Rebecca Graf: Took my Singer to Shawn’s and was told it wasn’t worth fixing. Took it to Sewing Machine Express and they fixed It for less than $40. Well worth it to me!!! Runs great!!!
Beverly DeWitt: They are so nice and honest people . Took my Janome in for repair and it just needed tension adjustment and cleaned they only charged me 85.00 and had it done in 3 days Not 3 weeks or months like other places in Springfield . I will never go anyplace else . As long as they continue the great service . Thank you
Belle of Seams Sew Me: I have bought both my Janome and Juki machines here during the pandemic and appreciated the excellent customer service. Being immunocompromised, they met me outside with the machines when numbers were extremely high. I have also taken two of my vintage Singers in for service and they had a quick turnaround time and friendly customer service! I also appreciated meeting the owners recently and Joan's suggestion of a new binding foot for my Juki, which I promptly bought a few days later. I couldn't be happier with my experiences with the store. Many thanks!
Teresa Zebell: Wonderful selection of machines and beautiful fabrics!! Will definitely be back!
Patricia Townsend: Missy, was very helpful, in me finding a serger. She was very friendly. Store is very clean. I will be going back.
Sue Addis: I took a machine in to be fixed payed alot for it to be fixed they said it was done got it home in worse shape than when i took it in....do not recommend them for service on any machine!!
Mitzi Miller: Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Alan Spears: From KC, Mo to Tulsa, Ok to Little Rock, AR to Memphis, TN to Ft Smith, AR this place has the best selection and the lowest prices on Jonome Sewing Machines. Well worth spending a total of 8 hrs driving to buy. Wished we lived closer as they offer a greating selection of everything.
Lyn Priest: Critical:ProfessionalismGot hung up on twice. Finally got the through and they were rude. Lost my business
Callen Claire: Great customer service. Personable employees, super nice, clean set up. Wide array of products and if they don't have what you are looking for, they will order it for you!
Sandy Cary: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI brought in my 30+ year old JCPenney sewing machine that I hadn’t used in several years. They looked at my machine right then and there and I walked out with my machine fixed and running a few minutes later. Super customer service! You don’t see good customer service much anymore. Highly recommend!
Bernadette Brock: Lots of machines and very experienced.
Kathy Murray: Excellent and fast service
Cynthia Poliak: Although I live in the St.Louis area, the local Husqvarna dealer I contacted did not return my phone call. In a search I came across Sewing Machines Express. I called and told them what I was looking for and they called me back the next day and told me they could get it and would ship to me. I received a call today (3 days later) telling me it’s on the way to my house!! Thank you so much, Stacey, for your prompt and courteous service!! It was a pleasure to do business with you!! I’ll be back!!
Autumn Mayfield: My sister and I drove into MO not really looking for anything special when we happened upon Sewing Machines Express. Scherrie Manes: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueBought my first sewing machine here . They were very knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely return there to shop again.
Jackelene Houston: Steve went the extra mile to help to get my sewing machine up and running during the quarantine so I could sew masks. Very dedicated and knowledgeable would highly recommend this place to others and definitely will return if needed
Mark Anderson: We were looking for a 1/4 inch presser foot for a Jonome new home machine and they had it in store. They also carry Husqvarna Viking machines as well as the Jonome Line of machines. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the products they have. Overall it is a great place to shop for sewing and embroidery needs as well as quilting products.

B-Sew Inn: what do users think?
Debbie Nichols: Thank you Todd! He was nice enough to solve my sewing machine problem over the phone. Excellent customer service. Saved me time and money.
Margaret: grateful to meet the staff at B Sewin their patience, helpful, ready to teach all about their sewing tricks or how common sewing techniquesho
Michael Babcock: Very friendly people and helpful
Joyce Baker: The Technician, Paul, walked me through a fix on my Solaris 2. He saved me an hour plus long trip to Springfield. I would give him a higher rating if I could. This gentleman cares about his customers!!
Leonna Crawford: I first went to B Sew Inn because another store was kind of rude to me & rushed me through. But B Sew Inn is definitely not like that at all. She took her time with me, explaining everything I needed to know. Then she showed me her least expensive machines because I am on a fixed budget. She just won me over, even though she didn’t need to. B Sew Inn definitely has my vote!!
Randy Truman: The people who work at this store are wonderful and very helpful. They do not make you feel bad that you dont own the most expensive machine ( I been to another store where if you dont own one of the machine they sell they will snub you . sad but true).. I have to drive 2 hours to get to the store and its worth the drive. You will be happy to go there!
Dawn Hall: Always find something I need! Everyone who works there are very friendly and helpful!
Joanne Hemphill: Informative, friendly staff.
Sherry Peitz: Very knowledgeable and great customer service.
Amy Grace: This is a fabulous shop. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The space has beautiful light that showcases the amazing amount of thread in every color and fiber variety.
Monica Rodhouse: This company cares about what they do and their customers! Would call them again for any sewing machine needs I have.
Janice Robertson: I have been a fan of BEE SEW INN since they came to Springfield.First visited their store at Chesterfield Village. followed them to the Battlefield Rd. location and absolutely LOVE the new store at 3046 S. Kimbrough Ave. in Springfield, Missouri.Magnificent Building. Great Staff. Awesome inventory. The only thing that would make it better is "FABRIC" One stop shopping!
Sherry A: Sales were not Competitive Today ! But, Usually are ?
james webster: Tried to do business with these folks. Bought a baby lock machine from the website. When it arrived we found that the description was inaccurate and was not what they said it was. We took it to the Springfield location 30 miles away. They replaced it with a machine that was obviously worn out. After three attempts and 300 miles they could not get the job done and pressured us to spend more money. They finally; after alot of song and dance, refunded our money. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
Tim Nicholas: I have purchased two sewing machines in this store and the service has been top notch. Friendly and always willing to bend over backwards to help their customers.
Faye Nelson: People are always welcoming and friendly to.
Barbara Carr: Best group of ladies
Yvette Ayres: Bright, beautifully invigorating spaces. Nice organization and information in each sakes area plus nice classroom space. And staff are helpful without being pushy. Really great place to spend money, thoughtfully.
Hzl B: There no words, i know of that conveys how the staff at Bee Sew Inn treated me Most praise, i give - Had trouble w/ machine ( newly purchased - lowest price they had ) (( All i could afford ))But they treated me and my new machine, like we were royalty. Got it fixed, THANK YOU Taught me about threads, cheap vs quality ( lesson well learned ).
Brenda Sutton: Wonderful employees that are extremely helpful. Beautiful new facility with so much space.
Evie S: I have not been to the new location yet, but the customer service at the old store was fantastic so it should only be better at the new and bigger store. Love all my Babylocks!

Quilt Sampler Inc.: what do users think?
Kim Henderson: They listed some fabric for sale online. I ordered 2 of them, paid and was waiting to be notified of when my order would be ready. They claim there was a typo and told me the price is now $30 higher each. Then cancelled my order. What a terrible way to run a business. The price should have been honored and order filled. If you go into a store and they have the price wrong, they honor the price they're showing the consumer. It should be the same way here. I will never shop here again & I will tell everyone to avoid them. Horrible customer service.
Era Justice: This store sells a nice selection of quilting fabrics, as well as a nice selection of different sewing and embroidery machines. I've shopped at this store for several years, and they were always very helpful, however, when I recently purchased an embroidery sewing machine from them, I saw a different side of their business and customer service. They don't provide any beginner embroidery classes, nor much support for learning the intricacies of machine embroidery. They're more interested in conducting high dollar (I.e. several hundred dollar) classes instead of the more simple embroidery classes to help new machine embroiderers. When I asked if they did/would do any type of beginner classes, my request fell on deaf ears. It is very frustrating, when asking for help, to be told "bring your finished project in and I'll tell you what you did wrong." That might help me for the next time, but my current project is ruined. I'm very disappointed in the "after purchase" service/help I've received from Quilt Sampler.
Cindy Heisserer: Rudest owners worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Sold my daughter a machine they knew wasn’t suited for her needs just for the commission of the salesperson.
E: Heads up on buying here!! These folks don’t do machine returns whatsoever. I wouldn’t buy a machine from them since they wouldn’t take it back even if you changed your mind and haven’t opened the box yet. They just want you to upgrade.
Marie Sellers: My favorite quilt shop in Missouri! You will be met by a knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff when you come in the door. They offer a wide variety of fabrics, quilting and embroidery supplies and notions. I have purchased 2 of my Brother sewing machines there and my Bernina Longarm quilting machine as well as a Brother sewing machine for my mother in law. They are always helpful if I have a question.
The Clarks: It is so nice to find a shop that is like this one. Friendly, talented and do repairs. We had our Bernena tuned up and the man who worked on it was very knowledgeable. The police was reasonable and it took less than one week.
Lynn Smart: Aĺl of the people that work at Quilt Sampler are very knowledgeable and helpful. If they don't have the answer they will get it for you. They offer amazing classes, fabrics, and notions. They'll order it if they don't have it in stocks. Also Great parking ! A+++
Carmine H: Absolutely horrible service. I enjoy quilting and spend an average of $200-300 a month on fabric and supplies (my 2 daughters quilt with me too). I ended up buying a very expensive Pfaff machine there, after 6 months it was skipping stitches. I brought it back to be serviced, and was charged because the timing was off. I had to remind them that it was *still* under warranty and should not have been charged for that. They huffed and withdrew the charge. In March of 2020, I had signed up for a class that was cancelled due to COVID. By August, they had still not rescheduled, so I reached out to see if I could get a refund. No response back. So on October 12, I reached out again to find out what was going on. Both the shop and I agreed that it would just be placed as a credit on my account there. Today I sent my husband in to pick up a teflon foot and a package of leather needles for me. My husband told Cristen (the owner) to apply it against the balance in my account with them. Cristen told him that they had mailed me a check over 2 years ago. She then said it *was* a credit on my account, but it was only to go towards a cleaning of my machine. My husband said he would step outside of the store to give her time to figure out how she was going to handle it since she couldn't keep her story straight. When he went back inside, she had brought Brad, the machine repairman over to watch over my husband for some reason. My husband was not threatening, or mean, or demeaning, or had even raised his voice (in fact - he was joking around with another lady shopping in the store about how he was the errand boy for his wife). Regardless, she *finally* applied the refund to my account and my poor husband left. They will never get my hefty business again and I will find another shop to service my machine.
robin helvey: I’ve been shopping at quilt sampler for a long time, they are the best in town for a few reasons. The selection of products is top notch but what brings me back every time is the employees. Any one of them will go out of their way to help you, but will also just let you shop without pressure. We are also lucky to have a shop owner that puts on events and educational classes, she cares for her customers!! My happy place.
Michael Cook: Friendly staff very knowledgeable.
jennifer Mehrtens: I also love their scrap bin for my other projects, so fun!
Judith Von Ohlen: Friendly and great quilt shop whether for classes, fabric or machine maintenance!
Jeanine Amrak: Thank you for acknowledging my post, I changed it to 5 stars for the simple fact that you care , I believe there was a sign on the door that said u all were open and that was the confusion.
Jan Milton: Wonderful place to purchase a sewing machine. They even offer classes for those like me who don't know how to sew
Barb Palmer: Would be a 5, but prices are a little bit high. Great selection of fabric, patterns, etc
Karen Carroll: As usual great and informative. This shopping experience was very helpful.
carol baer: Wide range of quality fabric s. Sewing machines for sale and service available.
Tammy Condren: This shop is OUTSTANDING in customer service! They have answered calls on weekends, holidays, evenings, FaceTimed me through issues, and never make me feel like I’m ‘putting them out’. I even had a melt down, drove to the shop with my machine and they sat down beside me and walked me through my issue.I couldn’t ask for better service and follow up from a shop!AND they’ve gone over and above to serve during Covid through Live feeds, on line classes, discounts and shipping, etc. Great selection of fabrics and products! ❤️ Quilt Sampler!
Becca Lawson: I'm not usually a review writer, but especially after having glanced at the other reviews here I thought this deserves an exception.I had called to make an appointment to bring my Bernina in for maintenance since I had heard I could get same day service here and it's hard for me to be away from my machine too long. ;)Brad got started immediately and invited me to ask questions if I had any, so I stuck around to watch for a bit and found it so interesting that I ended up staying for the whole thing. Of course he got it running smoothly again, I expected that. But he also demonstrated features I was unsure about and showed me the best way to keep it up, never making me feel like a pest for asking so many questions.I walked out of there feeling like I had been to the salon for an overdue haircut - like a weight was lifted, fresh, and excited to try it out for myself when I got home. Now that I have a shop I'm comfortable with, I certainly won't wait so long to have it serviced again.Regarding the shop's service that others have mentioned: I, for one, appreciate being able to look around without someone constantly hovering. I found all the other employees to be available, responsive, and helpful as soon as I needed them. I appreciated the casual atmosphere and the large fabric selection. So many lovely things to choose from and tastefully presented.
Roxanne Ramirez: I'm not usually one to write reviews, let alone negative ones. I know everybody has a bad day every once in a while, but what I saw and heard needed to be shared. The owner is just a mean, hateful old lady. She was berating customers for shopping elsewhere. It didn't matter to her that they didn't have what they were looking for. She was just being mean and nasty to what appeared to be a long time customer. I can hardly imagine what she says when there aren't other people around. The owner is the textbook definition of a "Karen". I always try to keep my money local, but I would implore anyone reading this to take their money elsewhere, even if the elsewhere is a big box store. I will not be going back because of this disgraceful act. If she treats her customers this badly, maybe it's time to retire.
Jennifer Thomas: Great customer service, excellent fabric selection, and very inspirational quilt shop!
