BeerSoldier: I have just finished my first week working with them and I am extremely happy with it. They have been excellent trainers at the post I'm located at. The pay is also pretty good if your looking for employment. Some of there locations do not require a guard license. All in all I'm trying to say this place is wonderful all around and I hope you check it out
Big Country: Apparently Securitas doesn't hire people with disabilities because as soon as I mentioned I was on disability and an income restriction, the position I was being interviewed for was all of a sudden filled, but yet 3 weeks later, that same position is still showing to be open according to their own email sent to me each week. I'm guessing the recruiter, whose name is Rachel, has never heard of the Americans with Disabilities Act that was signed into federal law by President George W. Bush in 1990 which prohibits companies from discriminating against people with disabilities. That's ok. They're about to find out.

Daniel Terry: This Securitas worker by the name of Ethan assigned to the Kraft DC in Springfield MO. was so busy on his phone while at work, he repeatedly recorded multiple truck driver phone numbers wrong, causing a delay in loading and creating late deliveries for strict appointments. There are signs everywhere requiring to show ID in order to pickup, but little Ethan here didn't care about that either.. We all make mistakes, but this guy clearly didn't care about doing his job, let alone attention to detail. Then, refused to give up his supervisors phone number when the brokerage asked for it claiming he has a right to not share that information. (Little did he know its available online) but careless workers like these are what create havoc in the logistic business. Security guards are put in place to help prevent things like this from happening. Bad representation for a security company whos reputation depends on landing Kraft contracts. Company will be making an official complaint to Kraft holding Securitas responsible for delayed scheduling.

Max Silvers: I have simply safe because they don’t send someone to knock on your for 10 minutes while I’m trying to have my dinner after working 12 hours. Go with simply safe, cheaper, and no men at your door.
Alexis Clampitt: Horrible experience. They over charged me on the activation fee and promise to have it back in my account by the end of the week. Over a month later I still haven’t gotten money back. Took them a month to come install a wedge for my doorbell camera, when they finally did they messed up our door bell and now it doesn’t work. Window security will not work and continues to say window bypassed. We are also locked into a 3 year contract. Corporate doesn’t care and I’ve reached out to management multiples times and my calls don’t get answered and my text are ignored.
Karl Reinlein: We have been ADT customers for 30 years and during the last 1-2 years the customer service has been TERRIBLE. Long hold times on the phone, long waits for service appointments, (we were told it would be 6 weeks for the next service to replace a zone which is not working). Also conflicting information based upon who we talked to.We are looking at alternative security services.

Kelly Dove: Just tried to continue and upgrade my service after 2 years. 3 year contracts only for existing clients trying to renew their existing system in addition to increasing the monthly payment. I was pretty shocked this is what they consider good service from their "loyalty and retention" department. I would not recommend based on my disaster of a previous service call, equipment working on and off, and zero flexibility requiring a 3 year contract.

I received a text in the morning reminding me of the appointment and he called when he was an hour away. I have a in home daycare and I had a few kids that day. The older boys were asking him questions about what he was doing and he was great with them. He even went out to his truck and got some ADT capes for the kids to play with. He finished quick and was very polite.

Mark Breeden: Have had my security system for several years. When I originally signed up for the service I was told that maintaining the system was covered. Now that I've had a sensor go bad I'm being told it will be an additional $95 to replace it in addition to the $25 I've already paid for a service call. So much for service being covered.

He provided me with a solution that fit my interests and did not feel like he was just in it for a paycheck. My installer, Albert, continued the experience the very next day. All in all, I would recommend ADT to anyone interested in protecting their home or business.

She now has Alzheimser's and is unable to live in her home, but is a resident in a Alzheimer's care center. When explaining the situation to ADT, they were very compassionate and allowed us to cancel the contract.
Jay W: Sadly, I have to agree with the other users, I have not had a good experience. First I was set up with the guys that come around and talk to you about the break ins that happen and make you feel like its a really bad area to live in and got my account set up and had my monthly payments done on autopay. Then I was going to relocate the service when I moved and thats where it got messy. I was charged over $500 on my account which was not authorized because we decided to keep the service at our other location and they cancelled the policy instead of reinstating the old one. They told us it was the penalty for cancelling (paying the rest of the contract out) when we did not even cancel. After an hour long phone call I got someone who got me set up an a new contract (18 months) at “corporate level” to avoid the fee from their mistake in the first place. I was then transferred to accounting and was told the refund would be within 6-7 business days. I asked for an expidited payment because I have several bills coming out as it is the end of the month and they said they would see about that. It has now been 6 business days and not even an update from them. Normally, it would be fine to wait but $500 is a large amount to have missing from your account. If you can avoid getting this service it would be reccommended. It was good at the beginning and we loved it but in the end they found a way to screw us over and do not seem to want to help.
Kevin Large II: Do not waste your money with this company! My wife and I had to move from Ohio to Missouri. We canceled our contract and were notified we would ve charged 1 more time after cancellation. That charge came and we were okay with that, however they charged my account again a month later throwing my account into overdraft and when I contacted them about it they apologized and informed us that they would refund the amount. 2 weeks later I still have not received the refund so I call them to only get a rude woman tell me that they will not refund the extra payment even though they took a payment without permission.This company does not care about their customers all they care about is how much money they can get. Do yourself a favor and find a company that actually cares and does not perform illegal transactions.

N: The frequency and aggression with which they repeatedly solicit to your house causes me to seek services elsewhere.
james lyczkowski: Don't get this system. Buy your own and set it up. Get stuck in a 3yr contract and after 90 days if anything breaks its your problem unless you want to pay a hefty fee to have a tech come out. I'm a disabled veteran on a fixes income and if I'd of known this I would have never gotten this system. Now I'm stuck figuring out how to solve it myself. Don't buy and less ya got money to spare.
Solomon Spurgeon: There's a couple things they lied about while signing up that I only found out later. For example they said that the contract was for 36 months and you could cancel at anytime with no fee. Additionally they said my bill could never increase throughout the contract. And as I'm re-reading the contract that I foolishly signed, it states that the dealer can increase the cost at any time for any reason to any amount.

Richard Story: The installers, Josh and Jordan were very courteous and professional. We did do upgrades from our original plan and feel it was worth it for the extra protection. The response time is excellent as we did hit our panic button by mistake and we got the call immediately. We feel ADT has a good reputation and is very reliable. We do have a good friend who has worked for ADT for many years.
Sara Roberts: ADT/Defender was not forthcoming about their prices and what they give you for that price. Bait and switch. I was told I’d be refunded money and my bill would be corrected. Still waiting after second bill was deducted from my bank. Get home security somewhere else! ADT is horrible and a rip off.

My father passed away this year and she is alone living in the country. With temperatures at -4 tonight she lost power in her all electric home. I was notified immediately by text that her power was out and then again when it was restored. A week ago she had smoke in her home, which Federal notified me immediately by text. Her alarm notifies me every time her alarm is set and turned off. There is no better peace than knowing my mother is protected by the service this company offers. Thank you Federal Protection!

He didn't try to sell us stuff we didn't need or want for our new home. He geunuinely cares what we need for our family to be safe when we are home and away. We did price shop Federal against ADT and others and they were better quality equipment, cheaper monthly rate and their head quarters are here locally. We plan to add a guest home and shop soon and they will be bringing the alarm in for those building as well!! I am very happy with our experience with Federal Protection!!

Allied Universal: what do users think?
Linz: Guard was unkept and unprofessional. We had a problem with the University Plaza guard, Matt, who is on a power struggle and obviously hasn't had a lot going on for him in life..so needs to take it out on others. He did such a horrible job, we had to contact management at University Plaza to complain.
