Best Ramen Restaurant Springfield Near Me

Arthur Chen: I went here to eat lunch around 1300. The interior of the restaurant is really nice and cozy. Staff are courteous and does a good job with service. I ordered the Ramen & Sushi combo. I've had the Karai Ramen with Spicy Tuna Roll and a Sake (Salmon) Nigiri. As with other reviews, there are a lot of bean sprouts in contrast to the ramen noodles. However, it is understandable as it is a combo that I ordered. In the end, I was stuffed and enjoyed every single bit of the meal. I also liked how they allow you to check out right there and then after you ask for the check. Overall, a good experience and I would recommend this establishment to anyone who wants a quick and cozy bite of Japanese ramen and/or sushi in the area.

Carmelita Talbert: We had the lunch combo (Ramen/Sushi) The meal was excellent, but it could of had more meat served in it, instead of one piece. Definitely, an overload of bean sprouts. It was half the normal size served for dinner. Served with spices rated between 1 to 3. Ordered the #2, definitely not those that cannot handle heat! Delicious broth. Lunch combo 13+ dollars.

Without the spice it was basically like a very filling and punchier chicken noodle, and with the spicy sauce added it was phenom! Greasy, salty, with fantastically juicy chicken and bright veggies. If you are looking for more “traditional” flavors of soy sauce or miso, you may find it too heavy, but I loved every slurpy bite! I stole some of my friends’ shiitake mushrooms from their bowl and it was so tender and savory, I’ll have to add that to my bowl next time!

Our waitress never introduced herself. Then it was at least 15 minutes before I got my drink after ordering it. And atleast 30 minutes before we got our two rolls. Then when I got my roll, we didn't have any soy sauce! So I had to wait another 5-10 mins for that. Now this is what takes the cake. BEWARE THE AUTO GRATUITY. We were a party of two, and upon looking at the receipt we noticed a "large party auto GRATUITY" for a 20% tip. That's a no from me dog. Especially when the hustle was lacking. If the service was good, I woulda let it slide. Granted, the servers weren't rude. They just took forever, and weren't very intuitive. When I asked the waitress she seemed super surprised by it, and said it must have been a mistake and she got us a new receipt. But to be honest with you, I don't think it was a mistake. Seemed like she tried pulling a fast one. I can't prove that, but just take it from me. Look at your receipt. Tipping culture had gotten out of hand.

Wine is served in colored goblets, hard to explain there not elaborate but kind of funny. They have bulgogi on the menu and that was the reason for my visit. Once I found out it is only served with rice and not the traditional bulgogi accompaniments I was bummed out and settled for over priced mediocre at best sushi.

Kent McCune: I've been dining at Sakura for over ten years now and it's my favorite restaurant of any type in town. Always clean and comfortable atmosphere and the servers are polite and friendly. Great food and reasonable prices for the current price of dining out everywhere. I have always loved Sakura and I still do! I love that the entire staff have always greeted each and every guest with a Japanese "hello" when they enter the restaurant! I couldn't imagine giving them less than 5 stars! I had to chuckle when I was dining here today and listening to a Olivia Rodriguez song 😊 What a wonderful and amazing world we live in!

Rylee Pohl: So so good! The two of us got the titanic sushi boat for $55, and it came with 4 huge rolls, two salads, two soups, two crab rangoons, and two spring rolls. And the sushi rolls were so delicious and filled with only fresh products. I’m astonished we got that much food for $55. Paying separate for those rolls would have been over $70 total, not including the salad, soup, rangoons, and spring rolls. Worth every penny. We will be back!

Raeann Hall: I was greeted by Mia, who was very kind and helpful with all of my questions regarding their menu. The food was delicious and they offer a large menu. It's like a little hole in wall. I loved their entrance when I walked in. The restaurant has a nice, romantic feel, looks clean and kinda cozy. I definitely want to come back with my sweetie. I believe this place is definitely worth trying out, whether getting food on the go or dining in. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I prefer regular rolls with toppings, spicy, and sometimes flash fried. I was on a spicy kick the night I went so we got the crunch roll, star jalapeño, panic, and the volcano.The crunch is okay, not really crunchy. The star jalapeño is delish! And the panic roll is by far the best spicy roll we had. The volcano comes on fire but got soggy with time and was not appetizing even after about 10 minutes.We got the combination bento for our daughters to share with a cali roll and shrimp tempura and they loved it! Lots of food and perfect for two kids or two light eaters!All in all the food was good, kind of high on price. But it’s an experience!
