Kari Bass: We currently live in Quarry Town. As said in earlier review. Management is MIA. Our AC has been poorly operating since May. Management will not fix. Currently on 80 when set at 68. We have had to pay for hotel stays and extra fans. Management will not return class or texts. Other issues have not been dealt with either. Would not recommend.

Derek White: Apartment was fine, location was great, maintenance slow to respond, and the management team was virtually non-existent.When we moved in, the apartment had several issues like dented stove drawer (NEVER FIXED) which made it hard to open, bugs, split seams on wall, flooding, and the pot smell lingering over from the neighbors house.We moved out but the apartment sent us to collections without notification or follow up for less than $120. While the deposit is low at $200, you pay an admin fee of $500 just to move in. We would have been happy to pay the bill, but the management team dropped the ball and didn't even notify us of the issue. I think the self glossed "luxury" apartments are a bit much.Response to owner: We never received a notice or phone call from you. That is false.

Maria Cristina Gomez Navarro: I lived almost 3 years in Quarry town, the facilities are amazing and the neighborhood as well. The maintenance team is super professional (the best one I have found so far) along with the previous Property manager, Seamus, as they provided an excellent service. My only complaint about Quarry Town is the current Property manager who takes too much time to reply and take actions, in lot of occasions I needed to send reminders to this person or go downstairs to get an answer due to the lack of answers, this service can be definitely improved.

Kelsey Jones: A wonderful living experience! The office staff and maintenance workers are all so kind. They always go out of their way to talk to us when we run into them. All of the other tenants we’ve met are also very friendly.We were lucky enough to live in a west-facing unit on the fourth floor, with one of the most unique views in Springfield! (The picture doesn’t do it justice.) The biggest unexpected con of living here is that we can hear our downstairs neighbors constantly, but they’re quite loud. One additional reoccurring issue is that people park their vehicles wherever they want- they make their own spots, or simply park in the handicap spots and never get in trouble for it.Overall, it’s been an enjoyable and safe place to live! We loved the monthly community events, the valet trash service, proximity to restaurants (Galloway Grill is our favorite!!) and swimming in the beautiful pool during the Summer season. We’ll always think fondly of our time here!

Carissa Dodd: I moved into Quarry Town almost a year ago and have loved it. The property manager, Meg, is very attentive to resident's needs and the maintenance guys are always prompt and quick to help. The whole staff is so friendly and not to mention the apartments/floor plans are beautiful. The location is great, I can cross the street to walk my dog on the Galloway Greenway Trail and am close to restaurants and breweries. An amazing place to call home!

Lynda Branstetter: Needed some gravel for a small area. Called around to a few places. Westside was BY FAR the easiest and cheapest place. Called and a lady answered the phone, was able to suggest the best ground cover for my needs. Showed up to load and the man working the scale talked me through the whole process (as I had never done this before) and directed me on what to do. Everyone there was extremely nice! If we ever need gravel again, this is where we will be going. I didn't have to pre-order, no appointment necessary for an individual (non-commercial), and they have a very low minimum purchase.

chadandkourtney: Ordered pool sand (river sand) to be delivered to us last year and it was pretty good. Not the finest sand ever, but it worked out for our 24ft above ground intex pool the last year. In the photos, this is the brown sand. Needed a bit more this year to fill in spots and re-level, so we called and ordered more pool sand. What they delivered is the gray sand in the photo. It is extremely gritty, not fine at all, and has large sharp pieces of stone throughout the entire pile. Just under 3 tons of it. My husband called to see what could be done as this is NOT good pool sand, and the guy had the nerve to claim this is the sand they always sell for pools and that we are the only ones to have a problem with it. He refused to take it back or be of any help. Anyone can look at these photos and see this is NOT good sand for under a pool, but if you could FEEL it you'd think they're crazy for expecting this to be ok. The gray sand we got this year is not soft in any way. It would hurt your feet to even walk across it, but if we put this under our pool it would undoubtedly poke tons of holes in it. What a rip off, we are just out well over $100 for a pile of uselessbcrappy "sand" in our driveway. We won't be giving our business to this company ever again, which is unfortunate because we need a huge load of rock in a couple weeks for another project. All I can say is, I would not buy anything sight unseen from this place. And if you need pool sand, consider looking elsewhere for something that won't poke holes in your pool liner.
