Matthew Shaffer: I was unaware that in 2004, public defenders were allowed to lie to defendants and commit perjury in court. They also have a habit to lying about the details of a person's case in order to further coerce them into a guilty plea. I hope things have changed since then.

Alot of people complain about public defenders but let me tell you some of them are far better than ones you would pay thousands for on your case. No they can never guaranty anything but neither can a lawyer that your giving thousands to either. It's remarkable what a great job they do considering how over loaded they are with cases. I give the public defender my family member had a 10 all the way.

Jefferson Fitzhugh: I received a serious speeding ticket while working(delivery) and was told to go here by several people. I will now be telling people to go here myself because i was forced to move out of state and was stressing to no extent over getting this taken care of but J. Kaye Irwin managed to have my charge reduced to a 0 point charge and a small fine + court fees. I am so very thankful for the entire office and all of their hard work and would recommend going through them for any traffic cases and honestly anything at all.

Deborah Lipscomb: Brady Musgrave is the most negligent, inept, unethical lawyer I've ever had. He never reviews evidence for your defense, and prides himself on forcing people into pleas which violates their civil rights. My defense was never researched, no case investigation, and he ignored evidence no intent, then lost the confidential information! I was never given discovery til I filed myself through the court, then it was only partial. I had to file every motion motion myself, then I fired him over 15 times, he still wouldn't withdraw. He allowed the state to make false claims without objection, he completely interfered with my ability to defend myself, and never requested bail hearings. It was totally one sided when there was evidence of innocence! Anyone else is better than this man! He violated specific performance, confidentiality which was proven by one of his coworkers blurting out false information about me that could only have come from Musgrave's file on my case. No defense was allowed to be presented thanks to his lack of medical knowledge and his lack of actually practicing law.
jake sample: Back in 2004/2005, I got into some felony trouble in Springfield, andBrady Musgrave was appointed as my public defender, and to this day I have yet to see in real life, a lawyer that can put in work defending his client like Brady.In Saint Joe the town I'm from. The defense always waives the preliminary hearing, I now know they do that because of a corrupt system that Saint joe has.But Brady told me dude we're not waiving the preliminary hearing, and even though the witnesses showed up and pointed me out, he did quite the job on his cross examination. He made them look silly.I was facing up to a life sentence in total years,and Brady got me a deal for 7.I never got to tell you this Brady, but thanks man. You truly are one of the good ones. God bles.

M Monroe: I retained Mr Musgrave for a minor situation the didn't even require Council but I just wanted to be safe than sorry what's a retainer I put down as supposed to be charged a flat amount for appearing and then the rest we got an escrow account be billed accordingly then after 60 days whatever was remaining would be refunded to me however when I went to discuss the remaining balance. I was treated like I was delirious they never would have done that.
