Jenny Lind Hall: what do users think?
James “Jim” Yeazel: I have been a resident here since 1/2010. The place was well maintained and everything worked as originally intended since it was built in 1977.There use to be a sliding window access directly from to the lobby to the office. It was opened every weekday morning, by where you could talk to the manager and the maintenance professional at any time. This window, and resident communication, was eliminated. The manager/maintenance professionals were always attentive to your needs, and communication between tenants and management was fluid and easy, making for simple and high moral communication between residents and manager/maintenance personnel.Unfortunately, since Millennia took over about 6 years ago, the above window was closed and all the above was abandoned. The original central a/c system was also abandoned; now we have only cheap, insufficient, noisy window units ! with only one of two windows accessable per apartment.Only one elevator is in operation since 2019; there should be two. This place has significantly gone downhill during the last 6 years, or so since Millennia showed up. The window to the office from the lobby needs to be re-opened as originally designed when built, to restore the open, effective, high moral, friendly communication between the residents and the manager/maintenance staff. There have been nearly 8 managers and many more maintenance people that have come and gone since Millennia took over. The focus used to be on the residents needs and desires. Now you are just told what and when to do it.Old-fashioned service with a smile used to be the norm here, now it has ceased to exist.
Sharon Solders: Manager is attentive to needs. Maintenance does good job.Pet friendly that's a plus.Utlities a very helpful
Alan Buckwalter: Not a completely positive experience, bot the price is right.
Brenda Thurlow: Nice placed to live. spacious. pet friendly. convenient bus stop. parking if you have a car. close to everything i need. nice closet spaces. pantry in kitchen. variety of nice, caring, people work and/or live here.
SLE Casper: I have my reasons.
TDS Darth Wage: This place is terrible, it is income based in which is good, but that's like doing a deal with the devil. This place has 2 elevators in which keep breaking down. The neighbors do nothing but gossip on one another. When you move in here you lose your freedom of speech. This building has had several infestations. If you are a smoker this is your worst nightmare. The Windows need fixed but have not been fixed in a very long time. A lot of the people here are 2 of 3 things, they are either rude and racist, or rude and sexist, and that goes for both men and women in this building. The hall ceilings will leak when it rains. They will only fix your unit up to code when someone moves out, or before someone is moving in. The cops come here often and so do the paramedics. Most of the floors stink due to pet owners. The side walk needs fixed. In the summer they turn off your heater and in the winter they turn off your a.c. so that choice is not even yours to make. One of the tenants instigated an argument with me and I got wrote up for saying something back. This place is super religious so if you are not Christian then this place will be your worst nightmare. I caught my neighbor trying to listen in on my door. Most of the women in this building hate men and talk badly about men often. I have caught several tenants in this building doing illegal drugs. Do I really need to say more? This place is a over religious nut house that I would not recommend anyone to move to unless you have no where else to go. This place is literally a last resort option and it's best you make your stay temporary.
Coni Eavenson: Good for those in one based. Has two elevat ok r and CHEAP laundry services.
POKE VERSE LLC: The prople there were very rude, I didn’t feel welcome there. So, I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone.

Bear Village Apartments: what do users think?
isabel burke: The Best place to live while here at MSU. Bear Village has the friendliest and most fun staff. Also, their amenities are the best and very helpful! I would definitely sign again. They made my 4 years here at MSU SO much fun!
James Graham III: Best place everrr!!
Amanda Penkalski: Bear Village is an amazing place to live! The staff love their residents and make them feel welcome. The apartments are high quality and clean and the environment is great!
Aubriana Duvall: The best place to live! Very friendly and helpful staff, great location, and amenities.
Wesley Bazzle: Great management! Ms Danielle and Ms Connie are great property managers and truly care about their residents!
Kaunor Ashley: The staff here is absolutely great. They are very friendly and always willing to help. 5 STARS!
Bella Mortimer: Could not be more grateful for the staff! Any issue is solved, quickly and explained what happened. Great place to be.
Jessie Lorts: Dealing with management is a joke! All they care about is money and will charge fees for absolutely everything with no explanation. No one working in the office knows anything. 85% of the time that you call, no one answers the phone! If you talk to multiple people about the same problem you will get different answers each time so tell me which one is right!Emergency maintenance is useless. When I called, I was told to just put in a request on their portal and normal maintenance would get to it. I had to contact BV 4x (2x the office and 2x maintenance) to get answers about getting supplies removed from my apartment that were left by maintenance. There are definitely better places to rent in Springfield!
Rafael Kingsley: Absolutely horrible experience living here, every single weekend I couldn't get any sleep due to all the partying. The apartments were always trashed & smelled awful, not to mention the staff will try to fine you hundreds of dollars for damages even if you did not cause any of them. They typically charge around $1000 a month to live in these apartments, they will also tow anybody who doesn't have a sticker. All around worst place to rent from. 👎
Kara Rhodes: I live in the main building, and pay extra to do so. I’m paying almost a thousand dollars a month and the hallway always smells like pot, the a/c in my apartments hasn’t been fixed since I got here and in it’s place is a window unit that could be ripped out at any time, they don’t have enough parking for their tenants so you either have to pay for parking or park on the street which can get stressful since there’s not enough room for that either, they installed a big towel rack but not a hand towel rack, and apparently those are hard to get nowadays because only a couple stores sell them (not Walmart), they charge the previous tenants for cleaning but don’t actually clean? Maybe big things but not thoroughly. There were wax drops all over the floor and some sticky brown syrup splattered in random places like on the back of my door. I think this place has a lot of potential but it’s not being handled (or PRICED) right.
Samantha Roemer: Bear village is great! There are so many fun opportunities to meet new people and enjoy the perks of being a resident. They really do want to take care of us
Sophia Eppel: Highly recommend BV!! I feel comfortable living here and it’s never felt more like home. The staff is amazing, especially Dhalia!
Molly Wild: All of the staff is extremely helpful and informative and Kacy did a great job of answering any questions I have had.
Hunter May: It is a very nice apartment and staff is extremely nice!
Sandy Garmer: My experience at Bear Village has always been fantastic! The staff is helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this apartment complex to students looking for housing in Springfield. The property is well maintained and includes so many great amenities! I have always felt safe walking around the complex and enjoy that it is only a short walk to campus!
Bre Quinn: The staff is great and super helpful!! I love the amenities and the parties are always super fun. It’s a great place to spend your college years!
Jenna Capra: Great place to live. I lived there and it was a great experience the whole time. Friendly staff and great events. Go Bears!
Farrah Fox: always have such a great time at bear village events, really nice amenities!
Zach Naeger: Bear Village has always been a great host. Always willing to help out when needed.
Anna Rickman: I love living here l! Management and staff are so helpful anytime I have a problem!!! Especially Danielle!
Claire Bonnot: My roommate and I signed a lease for the 2022-2023 school year. We got our housing assignments and find out the girls we are assigned with are allergic to cats, which my roommate will be bringing her cat. We contacted bear village a couple weeks ago and they said they would give us a call back to let us know what they were going to do. A week later they haven’t called back so we called again. This time a manager was talking with us and said he would immediately find something out and was sorry the woman the previous week never called back only to never get a call back from him. We have called multiples times a day for the last 3 days and not s single person has even answered the phone. Hopefully this will make it to management and we can get this settled before my roommate and I move in on Saturday. :)

Glenwood Manor Apartments: what do users think?
Laura Lee: Does not follow HUD standards. HUD only goes back 7 years, even if you owe. This "company" basically blacklists you for bills that no longer even show on a credit report.
Don Carmichael: Not a bad place to stay fairly clean but could use an upgraded play place for the children.
Andrea Moll: I lived there for 6 years and loved the management when something needed fixed they was on it...
K B (Kb): 2 year wait. And a 5 year wait. Wow
Καςεγ Χαος: A quaint & quiet little anti-tweaker village. And we aim to KEEP it that way!
Rodney D Overbey: Quiet, close to stores, public transportation nearby, good maintenance, good staff, on site activities, bingo etc.
Katelyn Grisham: DONT LIVE HERE
brandon durham: My wife and I lived here a while back with our 2 young sons. We lived here about 9 months. The home itself was considereably nice considering it’s low income. Large bedrooms and ours was one of the lucky ones who had a dishwasher. Had washer and dryer hookups which was amazing. The management straight off the bat was a problem for us. Heather was very very nice and respcetful. Debbie was very rude and unprofessional. She treated us as though we were beneath her and she was better than us from the get-go. We stayed to ourselves and a lot of the other tendents did too. However there were alot of them that did not and were able to just let their kids and guests run wild but because they were a “favorite” Nothing was done. One woman who I was told lived there for years had like 4 kids who were always outside without supervision and we’re extreamly rude to any other kid trying to play at the playground. We found a used needle at the playground at one point and a knife in the parking lot by the playground. There were domestic violence calls on the regular. Not at all a safe environment for any children ever. The place was “ok” when we needed it and times were tough. We were glad we had somewhere to live. Needs to work on management and cutting down on crime and talk to people about having unsupervised rude kids running around.
Alex Frost: Me and two of my siblings travel a lot and we had been driving for a couple of days it was great to be able to get in a bed
Ashley Woolsey: Bed bugs are ridiculous! My sons playpen is full of bugs, they came out to do a heat treatment and it failed each time. They dont treat the apartments at the same time.
Shadowbaby Mommy: Lived here for 2 years was ok at first started seeing they chose favorites and counted my finicial aid as income :( screwed me out of finishing college
Randy Moore: They allow drugs here and they don't care about anything! Worst place ever!!
Gina Booth: Can't have kiddie pools but they do a lot of good family activities....
