J.R. Perkins: I've stopped here a few times, but it had been awhile. Like the merino wool socks and Thorogood boots I get here. I finally wore out my inventory I keep at home and decided to stop here today. I get to the store and closed, right in the middle of the day. Guess my boots will have to go awhile more, might even have to pull out my backup pair of Redwings (gasp). And I'll just try a new brand of wool socks I found elsewhere.
Tiffany Phares: I stopped by May 2023 looking for women's work boots. Jennifer, the sales associate was super helpful and helped me pick a boot based on what I need them for. I would definitely shop here again.
Hazel Orantes: Last year our employer started forcing us to get shoes for here. The $200 pair I got was worn out and putting blisters on my feet 3 months after I got them. Everyone at work who got shoes here had to toss them within 2 to 3 months. They have a very limited selection for women at well. I had a choice of one pair of boots. Don't frequent this store and buy all means demand your employer change to a company that vets the products they sell better.Edit to reply: Since you can look up my purchase you know those shoes are past 60 days as I said 3 months. Never reply to a complaint to a review without reading it. It just looks like a ploy to save face and not actually address the issue. Plus why exactly are you saving my purchase info with my name? Are you tracking my data without prior consent or knowledge? Selling it to advertising agencies?You haven't done yourself many favors here.
mike maguire: First time shopping here, and I will be back anytime I need gear for work. I bought a pair of Thorogood boots. Their selection of boots alone is mind blowing. Truly the biggest selection of work boots I've ever seen. Top quality products. What sold me was their customer service. I wish every shop had half the customer service of this place! Very friendly and knowledgeable. They even brought the size boots I needed from Ozark to Springfield. Saving me a trip. That was very appreciated! Honestly I can't say enough good things about this wonderful shop. Thank you for being all about your customers! Appreciate you all!

I'd certainly be using every extra star you gave me to describe the one of a kind experience I just had with Donald and Dan down at HardHatGear on South Campbell.I bet there may be somebody who reads this and thinks I was paid to write this review but I assure you I wasn't. I went to HardHatGear to see what they had in the way of gloves. I was in between jobs and the person working there, Donald, began to show me around the store, telling about some of the items they had. Donald wasn't trying to sell me anything, he was just making sure to be there if I had any questions and to offer recommendations. That man is like an encyclopedia on the items carried by the store by the way. After walking into so many places and taking care of everything with no help from the staff, one may find it disorienting at first. I urge you, if you feel this feeling, to pay it no mind and to try to remember that that's how things used to be done in America, at locally owned stores with a mostly local clientele, back before the information age.A lot of people who are reading this review may not even know what good customer service feels like to identify it, so for those people, I say: this is called customer service; it could also be called neighborliness. You, as the customer, are entitled to this "customer service" because it is a complimentary service, gladly being offered to you by the grateful proprietor of said business, in exchange for your decision to support his establishment by spending your dollars there.Dan, the store manager was speaking to me about the philosophy of customer service and the culture of it which is proudly held high by the staff and owners of hard hat gear. Repeat customers are the reason why locally owned businesses can stay open. Customer se 00rvice like this guarantees that people are going to come back and if you haven't ever had it, you should definitely try it because it just doesn't feel good to go to a place and spend your hard-earned dollars there and get nothing more than an suspicious glare from the loss prevention staff, who hate their jobs and who have never met the owner of the mega corporation they work for. Another great reason to shop at local business is that you're going to get high quality goods rather than some garbage made out of plastic that lasts you 4 days. If you work out in construction, if you need PPE (gosh if you don't know what PPE is I don't know what to tell you but it stands for personal protective equipment), or if you like amazing, american-made boots of the highest quality, you should definitely check this place out they stock brands like Thorogood Chippewa, and Carolina. Red wings? What is this Detroit? all joking aside this place is so well stocked, they've got everything you could ever need for work and they know all about it if you're new at the job you can just go in there and ask them about which PPE you'll need for what type of job. hell if you don't even work in construction, like boots, or know what PPE is and you're just curious about what customer service feels like, go in there and get you some customer service. It'll make you hate Walmart, sorry Walmart no offense but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Jared Devall: I've used their services commercially for a number of years. They provide quality service and materials at a fair price. While they occasionally have trouble keeping drivers, there have been several that have excelled at the job. Our current route driver has taken great care of us!
Amy Towns: Worst company EVER to be forced to order from. Every tome I attempt to order from them I am forced to call them, because for whatever reason their website claims that my email, which I use regularly, is in an invalid format and the site claims that my username(which is set by my company) or password (which I set up with their techon the phone and wrote down) is invalid. To top all this, they do NOT have in store shopping. I never thought I'd say it, but I miss Cintas!!

Countrygirl 1997: Well stay clear of this company they will mess everything up. My husband used there uniform company and let’s say he never got what he ordered and it took them months to get half of what he ordered and if he got what he “ordered” it would be the wrong size and have someone else’s name on it and it wasn’t just one it was all his uniforms. Then they told them they no longer need there service they tried to say everything was damaged or missing but the same uniforms they are now saying are damaged where supposed to fixed months ago and they would say there’s nothing wrong with them. Not to mention if there’s a tiny piece of thread hanging oh lord all hell broke lose. With that being said I wish there was a star lower than 1. HORRIBLE COMPANY TO USE.
Christopher King: This company has taken the simple task of washing clothes and turned it into a giant mess. I had their service for a few months and every week was like ground hog day. On no occasion did we ever get all of the uniforms we were billed for. Of course, when any of my staff called to complain they were treated like trash. On one occasion NONE of the employees had any uniforms to wear and my manager went out to the plant to see what the issue was. The Unifirst manager told him he was stupid and demanded he leave. The General Manager finally admitted they could not fulfill their contract and asked if he could be released from it. I eagerly agreed only to get a $9000 early termination bill, which is basically fraud. You can buy the same uniforms on line for half the price and take them to the laundry mat on your own. What you save in a year will put a kid through college!! These guys are terrible.
New Cult King: For anyone planning on doing business with this company. Let me start with how dispassionate they are. Got sick with mono and called in ONE day and got fired immediately when I came back the next, still sick. When they claim not to be a hire and fire place, they are lying. ALSO for anyone doing business with these guys the conditions inside the work place are disgusting. Your products are not being treated or dealt with in a sanitary manner. Not in the least. The mats and clothes are not clean when they are done with them. If clean clothes get dropped on the floor which they often do, they’ll be picked right up and put in the clean pile. Employees steal money out of the pockets of clothes, ear buds, you name it. Find a better location.

Ross B: I purchased the 29 CFR 1910 on USB drive. I really like how it included the most up to date information regarding Most Frequently Cited Serious Violations. That’s a huge tool that I use when teaching classes. It is a great product except for 2 things. The one thing that didn’t work was the link for standard interpretations. The other thing that I wish would have been on this product would have been if there was a table or contents that was clickable to take you directly to whichever standard that you were inquiring about. If these 2 things were to be addressed, I would likely recommend this product to colleagues and be likely to purchase in the future.

bill ford: Please seek services elsewhere, wholeheartedly let down at every turn except for the drivers that do their best while being handcuffed by local management. Again the drivers truly seem to do their best, but the organization throughout are lacking. We’ve tried to deal with them locally or through their 800 number, both options have proved lacking. No communication, no commitment to contractual obligations, and no leadership.
Bill Sheila Ford: Please check other options before doing business with Aramark. Some of their drivers are amazing and do a solid job, but their management ranks are laughable. Unresponsive (both email or phone messages), leave problems unresolved, fail to solve reoccurring issues...and these are their good qualities. Again drivers do their best that I can tell, but are handcuffed by lack of organization and leadership.
Matlock's Collision Center: The most unorganized unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Nothing but trouble from the time we ordered our uniforms. We never received correct items, billing and orders have always been wrong, still trying to this day to get this straightened out and get he billing stopped. And we have not had there service for months. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.
Jumping Jacks Events: Worst service I've ever had. Lack of communication, follow through with promises and overall lack of customer service. I will be cancelling my CC just to get out of the contract.
Jerry Rose: At about 340 pm yesterday November 24th 2021 me and my father in law was driving west towards Joplin out of Springfield on a divided 2 lane highway I began to pass an Aramark box truck 140120 license 24J5GF on the driver side half way through he began merging with little warning on top of us I was barely was able to slow the vehicle down almost had to hit the ditch. We took photos after the incident including of the driver I won't say the name written on the truck I believe there is enough information the company can perform their own investigation my complaint is not about what happened but what could have happened and it is my hope to ensure it doesn't happen again someone else might not be so lucky. Lara Odom: Went for an interview. The first interview went well. The second interview wasn't an interview. The supervisor was very, very rude and was cussing during the meeting. Also, the place smells really bad.
MOFAB INDUSTRIES: The delivery guys were awesome, I never had any trouble with the guys on the truck. However the people that were supposed to send our uniforms back needs to be fired because they are worthless. We would turn in 6 days worth of clothes, the next week we might of gotten 2 pair back. It got so bad that we would just take our uniforms home to wash them ourselves. My rates in 2012 were $25 a week for mine and one employee, they tried to jack my rates up to over $75 a week over the course of 5 years of my contract. I refused the rate hikes, if I was having to wash my own clothes I was not going to pay I! I absolutely would not recommend this company for uniforms.

joe berrer: Do not work with this company. Every week there was additional charges that were just bs. I ended up with a $5 fee each week for uncollected funds, when I called and asked what that was for, they said it was for a late fee. I said, how can I have a late fee when I am on auto pay? Still, every week there is that same $5 fee. They have tried to give me a rate increase 4 times in the 6 months I have had them. I finally just cancelled my service with them.
Ronnie Smith: Don't do it! They dont bring your stuff back. They pick up 5 sets and bring you back 2 1/2. For years!

Randy Macho Man Savage: By far the worst uniform company out there. I have 11 shirts and 11 pair of pants. On average I get 3 of one and 4 of the others back every week. Took over a year to get a coat back I sent off to wash, and that was after my company hounded them week after week for it. My uniforms come back bleached and stained almost everytime. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but this place is truly awful. I would go anywhere, and I mean even out of state before I used this joke of a company.
