Springfield Pottery: what do users think?
Julia Scott (juliascott dot com): Loved my experience at Springfield Pottery. Not only do they give very affordable classes, you can buy shop time to come here after you've had the classes. Nathan is a great teacher, and all in all this was a fabulous experience. If I were going to commission a piece of pottery to be made, I would have them do it. They also have several very nice pieces for sale.
Jessica Evans: I love supporting local business and especially local artists but I have lost count how many times I've tried to go into this place. There have been several pieces that I have seen in the window that I wanted to look at at but everytime I try/have tried to go in, they are closed. The hours posted on here and their Facebook page don't appear to be accurate considering I've driven by several times during their "open hours" and they have been closed. It's extremely confusing, frustrating and honestly disappointing when you have to play hit or miss with a business. If it's special holiday hours, special hours because of classes, or completely different hours all together, that's fine, but the business needs to make those exceptions/changes known and made clear.Hopefully this issue gets rectified so that more people can support local businesses and artists.
Rae C: Really enjoying the class on wheel throwing! Nathan is a good teacher.
Justin Alexander: I called on 4 different occasions trying to get in touch with them and they either have no voice mail if it’s outside of business hours or they just won’t return calls when I did call during opening hours. As a last resort I have also used their website to send in a form asking a question. No answer with that either. I’ve never actually been inside their business but after experiencing such unprofessional behavior, I’m not interested to.
Cavsome Cadence: The instructors teach you as much as you are willing and capable.
Kayla Hardy: I have never had a better pottery experience. Nathan and his team spend one on one time with every student. I enjoyed my first session so much I took 2 more sessions. The price of the sessions is more than reasonable. The studio provides you everything you need and teaches you from the ground up. And you're allowed to make and keep as many pieces as you'd like. You can also pay a small fee to come in on the weekends to keep working on your pieces. I was able to make over 7 bowls and 5-6 plates in two sessions. Along with learning wheel they taught hand building too. I have move out of state since and cannot find anything the remotely compares the greatness of Springfield Pottery and Nathan. Wonderful, peaceful, creative and working with highly skilled professionals. I 100% recommend.
Heather Grills: I attended several workshops with both Nathan and guest artists and have purchased gifts there as well. Workshops were excellent and well organized and the selection of ceramic art and fine crafts in the gallery was broad and of high quality.

Artistree Pottery: what do users think?
Mary Jo Hodges: This is a great fun activity, with some food options. Artichoke dip very very good.
Brian U.: Dragged here once and came back two more times for fun!Gents, go on in. Pick a project, grab a cold beverage from the bar, and let the creativity fly.In a week’s period of time, you will proudly claim “damn right I made that!”.
Julie U: Initially, I went to experience paint your own pottery, two years later and I’m hooked! The atmosphere is amazing and the selection is incredible. I love the emphasis the owner and staff place on making their shop accessible to everyone and welcoming all. If you haven’t experienced this gem of a place you definitely should.
tattoo Coven: Great people and a great experience! They accommodated our large, crazy party and we had an absolute blast!
jace welker: My girlfriend and me absolutely love this place! This is our second time here and I just had to write a review. The prices are super fair here, and they are always getting new pieces in that you can paint and they have all sorts of different paint colors to choose from! 10/10 will come back again😄
Breanna Berry: First time here today and it was such a cool experience! I loved being able to pick out any piece and give it the flare I wanted. Absolutely loved the shop dog as well! She really added to the cozy atmosphere. ❤️
Brandee Wright: This adorable workshop is a unique experience for dates or group hangouts. However, the time invested picking colors, painting in the lines, and stressing over the final outcome were thrown away with a ruined $30 end product. I enjoyed the experience but, the end result was disappointing. See pictures for reference.
Darkfirock: Such a fun experience! I made a stick figure battle on a beer stein.
tyler joseph: Love this place! Highly reccomend it for dates!
Breanna Manning: Fun activity, lots of pottery to choose from and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Had family in town so us girls did some painting, the turn around was quick and our pieces turned out great!
Joan Doss: I love this place! The pieces cover a wide price range, so you'll definitely be able to find something for every budget. There is a wide selection of paint colors, so every piece is sure to be unique. I also like the 1/2 off wine special deal on Wednesdays.
Patricia Williams: We had my daughter’s baby shower and the day was perfect! So many pieces to choose from and delicious finger foods. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend for a group activity, girls day or date night!
Mel LHeureux: Had so much fun coming in and painting with my family.
Kim Taylor: I highly recommend Artistree Pottery. It was a cool, fun, and trendy place. The owners and staff are phenomenal people. It was a great experience.
Juanita Gideon: Love this place and have a wonderful time everytime I go
Alex Barlow: Very great time, relaxed atmosphere great for family or anyone really.
Rachel Kimmis: cutest little shop ever. no studio fees, no painting fees, just the price of the pottery. best perk? shop dog. the sweetest old golden retriever named Millie. we went last wednesday and it was so relaxing in there. definitely will be going back. 💚
Dave-Brenda Caron: I have not been here yet. I use to attend ceramic classes in the 90's and would love to come visit. Specifically look for cowboy's and indians to paint a decorate my cabin. Do you carry these molds!
Hailey Collins: I cannot put into words how amazing this place is. Absolutely a hidden jem in Springfield in my opinion. I went today with my best friend and we had such an amazing time. The owner and workers were so friendly/helpful and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. No studio or painting fees which absolutely blew us away! Pottery was fairly priced and there was a piece that could be found in everyone’s price range. They offer food and drinks as well. We had the homemade chips and dip which were delicious. The best part…A STUDIO DOG!! Her name was Millie and she could not have been a sweeter girl. She was prepared for all the pets. I have nothing but good things to say and will absolutely be back soon.
Toni Howerton: First time there. Very cool
Vickie Johnson: Artistree pottery Love this place! Very friendly very helpful. Our family wanted to take Easter egg painting to a different level. Pottery eggs and rabbits to take home so we can take our time and the whole family enjoy making them on Easter day. Are family had a blast they gave us plenty of paint to enjoy with a array of colors!!! For over 20 years we have used a different pottery place very close to Springfield but recently they have not been so friendly very unkind to be truthful not helpful. So we decided to switch to artistree pottery so glad we did wish we would have switched sooner. The Price is Right on the pottery no guessing game on studio fees etc. Very happy! we will be back five star all the way.

Firehouse Pottery: what do users think?
dannette libbee: Was lots of fun picking out what I thought I could paint. My daughter n I went together. We laughed and did our best to make our items turn out good. Can't wait to see them in a week! Employees were very nice and helpful !
Doctor Nathan: A fun time if you are creative. I could paint for hours here.
Pam Callaway: Story hour!!! So fun!!
Rachel Beushausen: I brought my daughters so my foster daughter could have a bio visit activity with her brother. My $75.28 piece splintered on bottom which meant I couldn’t take my piece home. Instead of giving me a refund, which is what I asked for, they gave me store credit. I spent a small fortune for everything I just wanted my money back. I won’t be back, I’ve just lost $75, at Christmas, as a single parent…..thanks!
Bridget Kelly: This is such a great place. I have event done it a few times by myself just to relax. They are a lot less busy during weekdays. The girls who work there are very kind. There are so many options to pick from. I have made a lot of cute things
Brandon Lauthern: An eclectic and cozy space that simply exudes creativity. I don't think I have ever encountered a more enthusiastic, helpful, and genuine staff. These ladies are amazing.
Bryan Crockett: We had a lot of fun at Firehouse Pottery on our visit. This was my first time working with ceramics so I was a bit nervous but the employees were VERY helpful and found the perfect ways to explain the process and guide my work.My family will be back for more artistic adventures.
Alisa Stanton: We always have a wonderfully, creative time, when we go to Firehouse Pottery. We have been going for years... And have never had a bad experience. They employees are super helpful too Love this place! ❤️
Lisa Frye: Been here multiple times. Usually go with a mix of ages. Consistently a good time, huge variety of items to paint with a mix of price points. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Samm H.: One of the staff took the time to help entertain our toddler who was losing interest in painting by getting him a coloring sheet and stickers. It was very nice of her and allowed us to have a little extra time to work on our pottery with our older child.
Destiney Deragowski: Okay, so somehow I spent $84!!! That's extremely pricey!!! But overall we had a good time. Everything was organized and accessable. There was not any way to get strollers up that I could see, and that sucked, but the staff was nice and kind. They have a large selection of items to paint! I'm used to Village Pottery Cafe, but was nice to visit a new place for us!I'd really like to see more cheap selections so larger families can afford to paint with their kiddos on a budget!
Abigail: Great place to relax and have some creative fun. We love date nights here.
Rhonda Gilbert: Always a fun time!
Eam maE: This place is amazing. My first time painting my own pottery, i loved it. Prices of pottery are a little much.
Karla Reed: Very disappointing customer service.
hannah zimmerman: Wonderful staff and service! My parents (now empty nesters) have been coming here almost weekly for the past month. I joined them this week and had a blast! The staff is kind and knowledgeable, but will be upfront with you when they don't know how an art project will turn out. Creative and encouraging environment!
Rae: The staff is very friendly and helpful if you haven't worked with pottery before. They had a lot of choices for what you could paint including some great seasonal options. I would recommend to check out their deals for the day of the week.
Aisling schwarz: Had everything we needed to paint and decorate, everything was explained in detail and everyone was super nice. We went on a busy day and checkout was slow, but overall was a great trip highly recommend.
Aaron Dille: Very cool place to paint. Some of the items are expensive but they do have several items that are cheaper so you can have a good time. I painted this in about 2 hours, the staff was very helpful and very friendly I will definitely will be going back to paint here.
Cathy Zimmerman: Excellent idea to let people decorate their own pottery! The people are friendly and encouraging. I have gone three times and have enjoyed it each time.
Amy Conner: I always have so much fun here.

D_Ars Kontraktor: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
poet lenoir: Today was my first time at the studio and I'm very excited! I've enrolled in 3 classes and tonight was the first lesson in wood printing. Such and exciting endeavor! The instructor is very talented and offered insight as well as encouragement. I'm looking forward to the next few weeks as well as the other classes that are upcoming. I highly recommend this studio if you've wanted to take some art classes! I'm an absolute beginner but after this first session I'm not intimidated, on the contrary I'm so excited to learn!

Summer is a wonderful instructor; patient and motivating. By the end of the class I was throwing pots good enough to give for Christmas presents. Love this place. If you don't have a great time here you probably don't like Disneyland. Enjoy!! Highly recommended

Debra Shecterle: I have taken several classes with Marla and thoroughly enjoyed them. She is an excellent instructor and creates a very welcoming environment. I am new to art, not experienced at all. I am learning so much and having a wonderful time. Highly recommend taking classes at Creva.
Lori Matlock: As a health care professional, my work days are often quite intense. I have found the perfect outlet! My weekly pottery classes are so enjoyable. I am learning an art form that I hope to continue well into my retirement years. Hue is excellent and patient in his teaching methods and in sharing his years of experience. I would encourage all to come, relax, have some fun, and learn from a master potter! :D, Lori M.
Christine Madar: We moved to Springfield in January and were thrilled to find Creava Arts had just opened. This is a lovely place! Our daughters look forward to drawing and painting with Marla each week. When people ask for recommendations for art class I always refer them to Creava!
Kaitlin Rush: I took the painting class and loved it. I feel like I really learned a lot and expanded my skillset immensely. Creava has a relaxing, calm environment and I looked forward to class every week as it was a great way to unwind from the everyday stresses. Marla is great and easy-going. She really know how to teach in a way that you can catch on quickly and easily. I plan to take more classes soon. Highly recommended.

Good Earth Pottery the Studio of Rodney and Judy Lemonier: what do users think?
Constance Vogler: I met Mr. Lemonier at his wheel. He is friendly and knowledgeable. He has beautiful work.
Devin Cara: Best pottery and stoneware, beats Etsy hands down.If you've been looking for handmade, unique, beautiful, and stout stoneware for your kitchen or living space, this is the place to shop. My wife and I have looked for dishes in many cities (Austin, TX and Boston, MA), and obviously all over the internet. Sure enough Springfield has them beat. You'd pay hefty shipping costs on stoneware delivered, not to mention you don't get to hold and feel them before purchase. We've ordered dishes online, and they can be underwhelming once they arrive.Rodney has a beautiful studio, he's there in person, and he will tell you all about his crafts when you're with him. We bought as much as we could when we were there. Plates, mugs, large fruit bowls, a platter, 2 different sets of bowls and more, many of it matching yet ornate and to be seen as handmade art. We wash it all by hand, it's very durable, yet stands up to modern wear and tear like microwave and dishwasher. We've been back and bought more as gifts. Rodney even replaced a mug we lost, free of charge. Best pottery in Springfield. Better than anything you can find on the internet.Best pottery in the world.
Rebecca Kelly: Great experience!!! I live outta town and wanted to get my mamma a mother day present. Their website was easy to navigate and had pictures of their products with an assigned number. That made it very easy to placed my order over the phone.Within minutes I received an invoice via email as well as a picture of my already gift wrapped present. My Mother called to tell me how much she LOVE it and how beautiful and unique it is. Love this business and highly recommend it.My dad got her a casserole dish as well and they r both beautiful.
Carrie Andrews: Wonderful beautiful work.
Brandi Potts: The quality of their products is amazing!! Beautiful and rich colors. Everything is wonderfully and lovingly made! Thank you for such wonderful craftsmanship.

deborah heffington: Beautiful pottery. Wonderful craftsmanship. Local business. Great people! These are pieces you will pass down thru the generations! We use our pottery at every meal. Rodney customized some pieces that we asked for--he has a vision for each piece he develops.

Paul Stomp: Great place for one of a kind gifts! Unique pieces made with quality. Our pottery from Good Earth Pottery always start a conversation! Rodney is a true craftsman! You will be glad you met him 😀
Rinda: Good some pottery items there for Christmas, great quality! My family loved their gifts! Beautiful colors and interesting designs. Lovely studio and got some good insight on how the pottery is made. Will definitely be putting in an order in the future!
R Phipps: Beautiful unique handmade pottery. Definitely worth a visit. The artist gave us a personal tour of his studio and even let us watch him make a bowl on his potter's wheel. The kids loved it and I went home with some great pottery!

L & R Specialties: what do users think?
Art Aaronson: We drove 4.5 hours only to get to their store in Nixa No and find out it was closed and empty. They did not mention it on their active website and they did not say anything in their voice message service. It is like they just don't care about their customers. 9 hours wasted and two tanks of gas.
