Anchor Tactical Supply: what do users think?
Kory: Horrible employees, overpriced goods and they sell black rifle coffee company here. That’s the 3 top reasons not to shop here.
Nyto Griffen: Hands down the best store for all of your self-defense and tactical needs! Friendly for LE, FF, MIL, SG, EMS, & FR!
Cody Jarvis: Good God a lot of ppl whining about not getting waited on as soon as they come in the door. Every time I've been there if I needed help I asked an employee and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. I had an incident with one employee a couple years back. But s*** happens people are people all together the store is good and has good employees
Noah Collins: I’ve been here 3 times and each time I left with something in less than an hour. These guys are knowledgeable, don’t pressure you into buying, and they have a wealth of knowledge if you need help. I highly recommend this place to any first time gun buyers who might be shy and even to the most experienced gun owners.
Kevin Aderholt: Saw great reviews so I stopped in to possibly buy a shotgun. 2 customers in the store, 2 employees helping both customers, 3 other employees standing around with thumbs up their butts. Never acknowledged me so I left after 5 minutes. Work on customer service!
Eric Prothero: Expensive but extensive.
Hunter McDoogle: Great selection of items. Prices were expensive, not ridiculously high, but decently above other stores. Staff was horrible. Never acknowledged us when we were the only customers in the store. When I asked a question to one of the employees, he was rude. Would have to pay me to set foot back in this place. The kid behind the counter was arrogant and snobby. And this is towards a fire fighter, supposedly part of their main customer base. Staffed by a bunch of Instagram-operators, obviously not people who understand what the word service means. I browsed some other reviews and it appears as I am definitely not the only person that had this same experience. You obviously haven't learned Anchor.
Stanny B: I do not leave bad reviews normally, but this was a very unimpressive experience. Prices are TERRIBLE compared to the stores in my area(about an hour away). Took forever to get a quote on selling a firearm(after initially being told the one guy who buys in firearms had left for the day[why have employees in that you do not trust to purchase in firearms?]). Took forever to get sights installed on my new pistol. Ultimately, the only thing saving them is the concept that they had the firearm I was looking for.2/10, certainly won't be going back. I will just order through my local shops or use Eagle Armory in Springfield; they are cheaper, more intelligible, and friendlier. As others have stated, Anchor Tactical is overpriced. This is a fact. Maybe your customers get great service? My empirical evidence shows that I certainly did not, which is what warranted the bad review.Edit: Unfortunately, it is not my responsibility to prove that your customer service was horrible. Simply because you weren’t contacted does not push the fault back onto me. For context, on the initial review, the old “owner” of the google reviews responded and questioned my parenting for bringing my child in your store during COVID, if that tells you how petty/ignorant they were in regards to customer service.Hopefully you have made it a point to fix this poor customer service. However, it is a bit late in regards to this customer.
Heather Myna: Read reviews and establishments comments back to customers…enough said! Extremely POOR customer service!
Troy Dawson: A great place to shop with a really knowledge staff.
Michael Whitaker: The gentleman that work here are so amazing. They know all the questions and have the answers. It's sad to see what occurred that tragic morning. I will always support them . Springfield loves u guys keep up the great work
John Boone: Purchased a great pistol from the store , outstanding service and very helpful.Great selection of firearms and accessories.
Megan McEntire: Awesome store with great gear for all your tactical needs with very helpful, and well knowledgeable guys to answer any needs. Only giving 4 stars because when you go up front to check out they have some very tacky braclet display that throws the whole vibe off to the place. Get rid of the dime store display of costume jewelry and the 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 you'll get.
Bonnie Saltzman: I love coming to this business. They always help and the quality and cost is amazing. I'm able to buy my pants and have them altered at the same time for a small price. They keep all info in files so I can send my husband and know I'm getting gear that will fit.
JOSHUA DOOLEY: Nice and big. Lots of stuff to keep you looking around. Not the friendliest guys but there was a few younger gentleman in there asking stupid questions the salesman probably figured I was looking for a M16 like them. Prices are about right if you are in the area.
Troy Roberts: Decent store. I don't have any real complaints other than this place is really pricey compared to army/navy surplus stores. But I also understand the business side of profit and selling name brand items.
Chris Class: Just left Anchor Tactical Supply purchased a pair of gloves I desperately needed. I would’ve bought $500 more in items however but, as soon as a customer left a younger male employee and a younger women employee were talking very rude about her indecisiveness on buying her husband a gift. I simply will not be returning to spend my hard earned money at an establishment where the clientele gets criticized and ridiculed. I understand currently it is hard to find good employees but, the bar is set so low with not being disrespectful while customers are still in the building. Shameful and immature. It will surely cost them.
Ruben Bourbois: Excellent experience, great customer service, unlike the fancy chain store next door. Will definitely buy from them again.
G (Gee): Had what I wanted...
Cody French: Man with glasses at the back counter decided to give me large amounts of flak for looking into a Luger firearm instead of a Glock, laughed at me and was very rude. I will NEVER return. Unbelievable
Wendell Bishop: I needed some two-way radio accessories and some Streamlight flashlight products. Very helpful and had exactly what I needed.

Christopher Wirth: Uniform Store
Larry Steinman: Great people. Customer-friendly.
Banks consilio: Very Professional. Great customer service.
Tony Bonura: These folks were very polite. As a first responder, I will shop there again.
Sarah Fotopulos: So helpful and knowledgeable! And they either carry or can order anything you need.
incredible_catch: I bought a pair of EMS pants from this business and had a great experience. Friendly people. They let me try on pants in the bathroom and ended up not having my length size and are hemming them shorter for me. Reasonable prices and quality stuff. It’s hard to come by quality customer service like this anymore.
Levi C: Was recommended Frank’s Uniform by another store. Great staff and a wide selection. Much better than trying to order tactical pants online. Prices are good. Will be recommending to others.
chad Odom: Awesome people extremely nice and professional. I would recommend them to anyone that is need of uniforms.
edward castleberry: In my opinion this is the only cop shop around worth going to without having to order gear online. Franks is the only place that sells top quality functional gear for a reasonable price. Franks has been open for many years for a reason!
Rodney Sewell: Good place for your alteration needs. Got me right in and done bout 20 mins. Will be repeat customer.
Brendan Mcternan: Had the same experience as Lucas⬇️⬇️⬇️. Dragging everyday citizens into your decade old land dispute is highly unprofessional and shameful! Let it go and treat people with kindness, you deserve to be treated how you treat others.
Jason Lacey: This is the best police supply shop around. Great service. Its a MUST shop!!@
Frank Todd: Always gets what I need.
Etienne Chupa: great people
Lee S.: Very helpful, friendly and can get me what I need. Buy here you will be happy!
Derek Carter: Great place to get anything you need for your uniform. Customer service can sometimes be slow, but overall great place to shop!
Connor Kenway: The only place worth your time when looking for any uniform needs. I couldn't have been happier with my visit there.
Robert Dickson: Frank's Uniform is the best, friendly staff and excellent service!
Jon Ford: Good people. Always willing to help!
Steve Burgher: Absolutely the best place in and around Springfield for all your uniform needs. There is a reason they have been around for 60 years!!!!! Dont go to the boat anchor. Go here and be treated like a person who matters :)

Downtown Tactical: what do users think?
Eric Kedish: I am a 20 year Air Force retiree with three deployments among several other DoD courses under my belt. The training provided by Downtown Tatical exceeds everything that I experienced while in uniform and left me much more confident in my abilities. The instructors set a training pace that challenges you and truly builds you into a better warrior in a very short amount of time. I can't thank them enough for the skillset and information, they really are second to none! 5/5 stars, highly recommend taking any of their classes.
Brittney Holmes: I highly recommend Downtown Tactical. I just went through their Tactical Pistol Training and absolutely loved every second of it. Great learning lessons and great tactics to keep forever, it truly is life or death. Great trainers. It will be hard to beat their class, not sure anyone could/can. Travel from wherever you live and it will be well worth every penny spent and will add to your life and others’ lives, in big ways. Priceless ways. Thank you Downtown Tactical, Graham, Jenn and Tim, very very much! You guys are awesome! Contact us if you’re ever in town, also! Xoxo!!! God bless!
Kyle Holmes: Incredible experience. Incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Did not care about speed or just getting bodies through the class but rather was concerned for safety and cared about each student. Every question asked was given an answer based on actual research or experience and not just because “they said so”. Easy to talk to and crazy informative. My wife and I went through it together and they took us from little to no knowledge of gun handling and use in a stressful situation to feeling prepared for an engagement. No arrogance at all on their part. Genuine care and concern that people learn real skills. 100% look forward to taking all their courses.
Alex Sexton: The instuctors at downtown tactical are top notch. I highly recomend training with them if you get the chance.
Brenda Sottler: I began this journey a a nervous novice. The classes are detailed, the instructors delivery is professional and very informative while personable. Jennifer and Graham are doing a great service to our community. I passed my first class and feel safer and more confident. I will take all my classes at Downtown Tactical. I highly recommend this business.
Chason Meredith: I had the opportunity to take the CCW class with Jennifier and Gram, it was hands down the best time. They are very knowledgeable, fun and funny.#Ask Gram about what he did to his son right after he was born!! lol. Thanks Gram and Jen for teaching us.I will be recommending you guys to everyone I know. 5 out of 5
Haylee Cartwright: Jennifer and Graham are awesome people. I took the CCW course and it was awesome. Very informative, elaborate and most importantly they take their time to make sure everyone understands what they are teaching. They happily answer any questions and will explain as much as needed so you can understand. I definitely recommend Downtown Tactical for your CCW course. I plan on taking other classes they offer.
Katie Pankiewicz: I just took the Women’s Basic Handgun class. Jennifer is an excellent instructor. Good classroom information, and on the range she and Avery gave calm, specific instructions. It’s a good class to build confidence.
Clifford Collis: Took the CCW class, wow can’t say enough about there professionalism and subject matter knowledge. I’ve already signed up for additional classes, and looking forward to improving my shooting and knowledge of weapons.
Max Torres: FIRST OFF RUDE RUDE RUDE & NO GUNS OR ANYTHING TO CHOOSE FROM. so i went in the other day to look for a specific scope and this was one of many stores i’ve been to that day. note: everyone else was so nice and helpful throughout the day… i walk in and the girl behind the counter was just as rude as can be saying that they didn’t carry that kind of scopes because they were trash and insisted on me buying the kind of scope brand they use.. i can understand giving people tips and points but she was basically saying my opinion was trash. she also acted as if they was just the best people in the state for classes as if so my other people don’t give the ccw class..? I can say from personal experience my family and friends will definitely not be giving any of my 2nd amendment business here!!!!
Dennis Martin: Saturday, I went through the class Emergency First Aid Fundamentals. I have over 30 years of EMS experience and this class was exactly what I was wanting. It was a great mix of done this a thousand times, great refresher and things that have changed, so new learning. The other student in class had next to no experience, yet Tim took the time to focus on us both, equally. The class covers quite a bit and Tim covered all of it with an obvious passion for what he does. I would recommend this class to anyone.
Jason Griffin: Took Tactical Pistol and all I can say in the simplest way is Wow. It was a great class and the time was well spent learning and honing a skill that I was thought I was at the very least proficient with. Both Graham and Tim are great instructors with years of experience. Not once did they belittle or talk down to any of the students and only corrected and ensured us that we will be better shooters by the end of the class. I can not recommend this class enough. All you need to do is do what the instructors say and and leave your ego out of the range.
Chris Didlot: Jen and Tim have been excellent instructors taking time to answer questions and thoroughly educate. I have been through a couple of the courses and they never disappoint. I highly recommend taking ALL of the classes offered through downtown tactical and if you are first time gun owner please for the love of God and your fellow citizens GO TRAIN!!!!!IF YOU HAVE NEVER HANDLED A FIREARM GO TRAIN!!If you're an arrogant macho man GO TRAIN!!Tim was excellent at the live fire training.Every minute of training and every dollar spent is worth it!If you choose to carry a FIREARM for self defense PLEASE GO TRAIN! It could be the difference between life of freedom, life in jail or death! GO TRAIN!! looks like we will all need it now days sooner than later.
Alex Howe: Guy seemed more interested in telling me about how “BA” he is and about all the important people he gets paid to protect than he was in showing us equipment or discussing a good option for a conceal carry pistol. He did take the time to criticize my carry pistol so that was nice.
Dana Wilson: I took the Conceal Carry class at Downtown Tactical. Graham Hunt was the instructor. The class was well presented, and informative. Questions were encouraged and welcomed and answered. I would and will definitely recommend Downtown Tactical and this conceal carry class. On a personal level, I have had a fear of guns. I was in no way made to feel stupid or that my fear is invalid. I was given practical help, knowledge and tools to understand gun safety, how my gun works and options for what to do in a bad situation. Many classes are offered and I plan to take another class for women later this year.
Derrick Miller: I enjoyed coming in here to shop. Good selection/decent prices. The guy behind the counter was good too!
Robert Vonch: Picked up my new AR today, very impressed with the staff. We will be back!
Andy Roy: Great place for any firearms person, from the personal protection to professional thay do it all. Thay carry some gear in stock but seems mostly for demo and sizing, they'll order any thing thay have in the store in your size. Thay also do gunsmithing and training classes at different levels. And great, trust worthy crue!
Angelia Carpenter: This month I took a concealed carrier course at this location. The instructor, Micah Mayes, was Awesome! He gave much more practical and helpful information than in the previous class I had taken a few years ago in another state. Micah was Very Patient with our whole class which was all female. He took the time to explain the exact details of gun handling and answered our many questions. On site at the range he went the extra mile for each of us to know exactly what we were doing. This is an excellent course for any adult. The other instructors and employees there made us feel welcome & engaged.Thank you Micah and all the DT team!
Tristan Boles: My brother and I went in. Guy behind the counter must have been having a bad day we got terrible service(He was rude and arrogant). Limited to no product. Overpriced grips and sight . Kept bragging about how they train CIA, Rangers and other Special Forces offered no actual proof of these claims neither does their website. Honestly you'd be better off going to Cherokee or Eagle Armory for guns and gun accessories and I would personally find an actual large known company to train with before I spent any money at this location. Will definitely not be going back or recommending to anyone.
Dylan Griffin: Friendly staff, and they make really good holsters!
