Dave Hartman: Took my grand kids there for lunch today. Grand son is never hungry but ate 10 sushi today. Impressed with food and friendliness of staff.

Kanina Cox: 3 ✨First timers. The bowls and sushi were outstanding. We arrived with one man ahead of us ordering takeout and a seated two-top with an infant. 5 on staff (on the line), we ordered, payed and got a beverage. There were no clean tables. I wiped off a table with napkins and about then our roll came out. I commented there weren’t clean tables and was met with “yeah I know we’ve been really busy.” I get it, I was in restaurant biz for 30+ years. About 10mins later the other table left. No new orders came in. One young lady looked utterly confused when she came out and removed the trash from the table. She threw it away and went to the back of the house. That was it. We sat for about :40 mins and no one came out to clean tables. Two women chatted at the line (also restocking etc), two dudes disappeared. If you don’t want to focus on cleanliness in the front of the house, consider having a roll of paper towels and some spray we can use to clean the tables. My husband got violently ill within two hours of eating there. We believe it was his lunch, but putting this in here bc I’ve noticed another review stating they got sick. We will go back and try it again, probably just order takeout though.Edit:I spoke to the owner who was very receptive to my review and apologetic for the experience. She was already on top of educating staff. Staff remembers the incident and accepted responsibility. I’m super pleased with this outcome! See you soon…

I didn't review it the first time I went because I wanted to see the same level of excellence reached two times in a row and boy let me tell you the quality, service, flavor and overall atmosphere of this place is incredible! I worried moving from Dallas that I would not find top notch sushi but this place has got me covered! Excellent experience. Huge shout out to the server who dealt with the extremely picky lady sitting nice to us and did it with such class and patience that even her friends were surprised. 10/10 Date night win!

Chelsea Mendrala: We arrived at the start of dinner on a week night with a party of 3. The host was rather rude, but otherwise our service was outstanding. We ate off both the happy hour and regular menu and enjoyed all of the rolls we ordered (8 total). Our waiter was very attentive, but not obtrusive. I thought the restaurant was gorgeous and I loved the high backed booths. The asparagus appetizer was delicious, the Wasabi risoto was yummy but not enough heat. I thought the sushi roll we had was perfect and loved the drinks, but I was disappointed in the creme brulee, it wasn't even warm when it got to me. I will be back for sure, though!

Elisha H: This place is what I call a one stop shop.So first, the atmosphere was fantastic. It felt like a lounge in Tokyo. I loved the sofa lounges upstairs with the pillows snd the overall feel. Music was on point! And the drink options were fantastic as well as tasty! We had the Rose Collins and it was super refreshing!The food: It was traditional with a twist! Super flavorful and fresh, and lots of interesting options. The miso was the best I have ever had, and the edamame was yummy! They offer a lime to squeeze ontop of the edamame, and I loved it!Now time for the bad: The service was SLOWWW. We got there right when they opened, and there was zero hustle. Now I am a bit picky about service. But we go to a lot lf restaurants and usually the service makes or breaks a place. When we sat down, it was at least 10 minutes before we got water. Our waitress never introduced herself. Then it was at least 15 minutes before I got my drink after ordering it. And atleast 30 minutes before we got our two rolls. Then when I got my roll, we didn't have any soy sauce! So I had to wait another 5-10 mins for that. Now this is what takes the cake. BEWARE THE AUTO GRATUITY. We were a party of two, and upon looking at the receipt we noticed a "large party auto GRATUITY" for a 20% tip. That's a no from me dog. Especially when the hustle was lacking. If the service was good, I woulda let it slide. Granted, the servers weren't rude. They just took forever, and weren't very intuitive. When I asked the waitress she seemed super surprised by it, and said it must have been a mistake and she got us a new receipt. But to be honest with you, I don't think it was a mistake. Seemed like she tried pulling a fast one. I can't prove that, but just take it from me. Look at your receipt. Tipping culture had gotten out of hand.

We were sat immediately and our server was incredible. We each ordered drinks, typical pricing but extremely great taste! I really admired their creativity. We ordered the sampler appetizer which was good but nothing really above average. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with sushi roll, the sushi was absolutely incredible, a must order again for me. My roommate got the blueberry salmon and was thoroughly impressed. Great spot for a fancy date night!

S L: Have dined here a few times over many years and the food is always great. It is pricey. The service is decent. I do think the atmosphere lacks a bit for the price and presentation of the food. I can feel them trying to do a lot with the property (it’s huge), but the actual dining experience is lacking. It doesn’t feel as intimate, exclusive or as romantic as you might hope it to be for the price, presentation, and exquisite landscaping and overall property details. We tried to put our finger on it, and I think it has to do with the large open dining area. Perhaps it would benefit from some barriers? Smaller rooms and spaces? More dim lighting? More professional service (not so laid back?) Just some food for thought.Either way, the food keeps bringing us back. Delish!

Alina Isle: The private dining rooms make this a great spot for a date because you can converse comfortably in a quiet space. Excellent sushi, nice presentation and the service was great but low key, which I really appreciated. The meal included a small bowl of miso soup. Troy Harris: The atmosphere is nice, patrons are seated in private booths. The server was a little crass and reminded me of my favorite dinner waitress. Wine is served in colored goblets, hard to explain there not elaborate but kind of funny. They have bulgogi on the menu and that was the reason for my visit. Once I found out it is only served with rice and not the traditional bulgogi accompaniments I was bummed out and settled for over priced mediocre at best sushi.
