Foot Doctors: what do users think?
Carol Custer: Dr Seiden is the best!!! Couldn't ask for a more caring Doctor!!! He listens and takes care of your problem. I have seen many foot doctors. I've had problems if I could have just seen him first. I wouldn't have went near the suffering in the foot problems that I've had. That's just how much I think of Dr. Seiden!!! Best personality you could ask for in a doctor bedside manners are the best. I just think he's the greatest doctor. You've got foot pain. You know how you hurt all over and he has helped me so much. Carol Custer
John Roberts: Dr. Seiden did a fantastic job. Very professional and thorough. I’ll be back if I ever have foot issues again
Rob Villarreal: Dr seiden literally saved my life from a foot infection everyone that works here is completely professional. This is one of the best care I could’ve ever hoped for thank God for the work that they do there they save peoples lives literally every day. Would recommend to anybody that had foot problems
Catherine Buckner: My appointment was fine. No complaints there. What has been particularly difficult has been following up. I was given instructions to get labs done which I promptly took care of. Several weeks and voicemails later, I still can't seem to get the prescription called in. I already have a bill that I'll be hanging onto until someone finally calls me back.
Heather Wilson: I enjoyed my visit at this office today. The check in was quick, I had a very short wait for the doctor, and the nurses were very nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Sieden was quick to diagnose my problem, but also very thorough. He started my treatment on the spot and I am very grateful for that. I only wish I hadn’t waited so long before seeing him. I would recommend this office to anyone.
Lydia Morton: We can not say how thankful we are for the excellent care our daughter received. She had to have surgery to repair a bad break from 4 years prior. Dr. Marling did a fantastic job and she is now able to do any activity she ants with no pain!
Sarah Hayes: Terrible people and facility I’ve been waiting for my med for a month and now have another infection. I’m immune compromised and this can kill me but they don’t care!!!
Keri Renae: Congrats Dr Seiden! #1 foot doctor in 417 magazine! Awesome
Dennis Cox: Dr.Marling has done a great job with my feet. I knew going into this that he was going to have to amputate my toes but he did everything he could to save as much as possible. It seems like the whole process has taken forever but he has been very cautious with my care. I highly recommend him.
Coolbeans 1960: Great staff and the doctors are exceptional👍
Sue Davis: They are very good didn't have to wait very long and they're gentle and they answer your questions
Tim Brown: Very unprofessional. worst service. do not go here. There are better Dr.'s and offices in the Springfield area.
Becky Brown: Dr Mark Seiden and all the staff are great. I had bunion surgery 3 months ago. Surgery is never fun. But I got excellent care and highly recommend this clinic to anyone having foot problems.
Jesse Selby: WORST RECEPTIONIST1st we checked in with the receptionist. She then asked us to wear a mask...we said sure but we dont have any, She then stated "Ill give you one but it will be the last time...we are low!!!" Then Asked about my insurance cards which Im not 100% sure which one is 1st since My kids and I dont need a doctor alot. She then proceeded to rip both cards out of my hands!!!Like really....Everything else was great doctor and staff...she needs to go...not friendly at all!!!receptionist goooooo. She is so rude.
Wes Bell: Dr.Mark had to go in and clean up an infectious mess from a previous surgeon. He saved my foot. The care and concern shown was and is amazing.Dr. Seidon’s nurse Elizabeth is amazing. She is not in a hurry to kick you out but to take the time to answer also your questions in a way you can understand them. Plus she is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life…. Just a side note!!You will not find a Dr or staff anywhere as caring and helpful as these folks!!!
Brenda Spencer: After years of pain and not walking unless absolutely necessary, I was referred to Dr Mark Seiden. He performed bunion surgery on my right foot. Once my foot was healed I was able to start walking again and become active. I even lost weight due to being able to walk more. Doctor Seiden was very professional and kind, as was his staff. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing attention for foot problems.
Donicia Goheen: There are SO many good things to say about this place. For one, ANNA is wonderful at working with people and seeing to their needs. She goes above and beyond for my parents and we all appreciate her so much. Dr Seiden and his staff are also kind, talented, and caring. They have done wonders to help my daughter deal with her plantar fasciitis. Five star staff!
Cath Miller (Justcath): Oh my goodness. I know that a lot of places are short staffed but this place should really let the receptionist goooooo. She is so rude. Almost made my elderly mother cry. I truly felt like just leaving with her. But then her name was called and we were greated with the nicest young lady that made us both feel better. She was extra nice as well as the doctor. He took care of my mom's issues with speed and such professional attitude. Even the young lady at the check out counter was nice and extremely helpful. . Nice place when you get past the awful front desk clerk.
Madison Clover: I am extremely young and have bunions i wasn’t sure where to start however Mark Seiden was recommended to me. I scheduled an appt and they got me in quickly and he was extremely thorough with my bunion situation. I will say he is extremely direct which is very very nice. I then scheduled surgery and got my left foot taken care of. I now have seen him a ton for follow up appointments, everything is great and healing as it should. I did ask him if there’s a chance of them returning and in the 22 years he’s been in business he’s only re done 2 of his own so the answer is no. I also would like to brag on Elizabeth she is the sweetest soul in that office. She has gone above and beyond to explain things, wrap my foot, makes your appointment easy and listens to all concerns. She is always smiling and just truly amazing at her position there. I’m extremely grateful for Seiden and his team and my surgery team i had. I’m extremely blessed with the best.Highly Highly Recommend Seiden and his team!
Paul Skorick: Dr Seiden did a great job on my foot surgery. His care and professional approach were top notch, as was my experience with the entire clinical and non-clinical team.
Jason Allison: Dr. Marling is an amazing doctor! I went in today for an ingrown toenail removal and the entire procedure was quick and painless. He was extremely skilled and professional and I would recommend him to anyone.

Geoffrey Bricker, DPM: what do users think?
amanda schatz: I am having Alot of pain in my foot and i can not stand the pain it is hard to walk on it i hope the dr will do surgery can not do this no more i got a red line in my foot and it is all different colors . it hurts on the bottom of my foot i was told by 2 drs that i have torn the ligaments in my foot
Shirley's Heating and Air: I was very cautious about foot doctor's in Springfield. I did lots of research and pick doctor Bricker. After talking to him and having the proper procedure done he recommended. I am so glad I picked him. It is definitely an uncomfortable procedure but in the end this man knows what he is doing. Love his personality and straight forward Ness. I would recommend him to anyone and my only words would be listen to what he tells you for care he is a very well knowledgeable and you will be happy in the end. Doc thank you so much!!
Janey R: I went to Dr.Bricker for ingrown toenails. I was very nervous because I’ve had some bad experiences with a different foot doctor in the past. Dr. Bricker was very understanding of why I was nervous. He is very kind and he definitely has a sense of humor, which makes everything better! He did and amazing job on my toes, he knows his stuff!! Hands done one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen! All of the nurses and other staff are very kind also!
Crystal E: First of all, I called because I had a painful ingrown toenail. I had called several different offices in the area and was either turned away for being a new patient or offered an appointment 2 months out. I was in pain! Dr Bricker’s office saw me the next day and had my surgery for removal scheduled within 2 weeks of my initial call. Everyone at the office was very friendly, including the front desk staff. Dr Bricker is a hoot! He and his assistant were definitely able to keep me distracted during the procedure with their funny banter and conversations. The only minor complaint I have is that they seem to always be running behind, so just plan on waiting an extra 30-45 minutes after your appointment time to be seen. That really doesn’t bother me much since my overall experience was great and I will gladly wait an hour for a doctor who is compassionate and down to earth and who actually got me in to be seen quickly and not making me wait months.
WhatTheToastt: Worst doctor I have ever seen hands down. On top of a ridiculously long wait time, the doctor was rude, and would not listen to me when I spoke. After 3 visits and paying $240, the doctor STILL didn't even know what my symptoms were because he would not listen to me.
Springfield Resident: I'll admit I didn't know how to take Dr. Bricker when I first met him, as he has a very strong personality. But after my appointment, and later surgery, I can say this loud obnoxious Easterner is highly skilled, caring and compassionate. I am walking pain-free for the first time in decades. He is 100% awesome.
Robert Gonzales: Chronic heel spur / plantar in left foot. Debilitating. Seen 2 other Dr.s over 5-6 years. Many, many shots, medicines. Nothing worked. Saw Dr. Bricker and followed his instructions. Unbelievable results!! I can walk PAIN FREE !! Am now up and out of bed early. Going and doing thing I haven't been able to do in many years.
B Mason (B): Best doctor ever!! Friendly staff smart friendly doctor..Doctor does have a temper and will take things out on you if u don't follow his instructions. Also jumps to conclusions without getting the facts. It makes me sad to have to write this but it is what it is.
Jimmy Moore: Absolutely the best Podiatrist in Springfield. His office staff are second to none. Great Doctor, Great staff! I Highly Recommend!
Craig “Dugood” Diuguid: Her came in yesterday and flat out told me he had never seen X-rays of a foot like mine plus a bunion like mine. I haven't seen the full results of it yet but I'm sure after his inaction and his genuine concern I know even at this stage in my life I'll have a good left foot. He's going to be working on my right foot shortly after. I'm just confident that the man knows his job well and I'm thankful to God 🙏 to have had him do the surgery.
Tina Hopkins: Dr. Bricker done 3 surgeries on my ankles due to sports injuries and done a great job. Scars are almost invisible and always had a great bedside manner. 26 years later, seeing him again. Definitely recommend!
Dale Admire: Doctor Bricker Gives Great advice and Did a Great job on my Bone Spur surgery. He kept me informed on what to expect on the procedure and recovery time ...just follow his advice and you will be fine...
Jawaun Lee: Best doctor I have ever experienced hands down!
Angel Ibrahim: Horrible doctor. A joke really. Scaring at insicion sites are painful and very noticeable. 1inch insicions that could have been better. Not professional at all.
Robbie Faulkner: Appointment at 2 so I got there at 135 to do whatever paperwork I needed to do since it was going to be my first visit. I had 2 people there before me. At 2:45 they called the first of the 2 people ahead of me. Only seen 1 person leave from being seen. I understand it's important to spend time with the patient but don't over book. I ended up having to reschedule cause I had to go to work. Very frustrating because I'm in quite a bit of pain. I don't get to attempt to go back for 2 weeks...

Mercy Clinic-Podiatry: Mostrom Dan R DPM: what do users think?
Michele Hutsell: DR. Grout was not helpful in any way. Recommended physical therapy that my insurance wouldn't cover, $200 a session I could not afford. When calling and telling him the problem, he told me to do the exercises on the summary, but they did not provide me a suummary. The appointment was useless and did not help me in any way. He did not seem to have any compassion or that he really cared about my foot pain or problem what so ever.
Debby Perry: Dr Parks is awesome , he was very kind to my mother and explained everything to her . He spent alot of time with her and listened to her . I feel she got excellent care .!!
Kim Taylor: Dr. Park does not like being questioned and has no desire to have a conversation about your care. He will spend no longer than 10 minutes with a patient, will tell you there are no other offices for 2nd opinions (even though there is an orthopedic hospital 10 min away), and literally walked out of the room without addressing ANY of my concerns.
Tim Spiess: Dr. Grout will make people wait for him, but he will wait for no one. Arrogant, hypocritical. Doctors used to serve their patients AND without getting wealthy from their patients. Today, the arrogant doctors expect people to not be late while they regularly make people wait an hour or more...guess we know who they think is most important.
Jennifer Stephens: Great staff and doctors
David Derrick: Dr. Rhett Lakin and Staff are very courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive to patients' time. Nurse Stephens is funny and kind and presents with a welcoming vibe. Dr. Lakin is cool.
H B: Dr. Park was very kind and friendly and he explained every step of the procedure. The nurses and front desk are wonderful as well. I would highly recommend him.

Mark A. Seiden, DPM: what do users think?
Laurel Browning: The level of friendliness, professionalism, and expertise shown by Dr. Seiden and his entire team is impressive! I highly recommend!
Marsha Deragowski: I'm 61. This is the first doctor that he treated me as if he actually cared. It changed my entire perception of doctors. Thank you Dr Siden
Salena Sanchez: I am going to the foot doctors tomorrow to see Dr Seiden. I have toenail fungus pretty bad on my right foot toenails but not on my big toe. I have been having sharp pain in the tips of my toes & don't know why or the cause yet I hope that he can tell me what the cause is & can get rid of it without taking medicine that will hurt my liver. We shall see & I will give an update hope they are a 5* . Would love to have beautiful toes back 😂.
April Trammell: Dr. Sieden is a excellent doctor. He has a very good bedside manner. He trys to keep you entertained while he does procedures in the office. I would recommend him to anyone.
Tara Martin: Super good!!!!! Very knowledgable!!! Took care of a foot problemI had had forever!!!! Liked that he didn't just rush to surgery as the answer tried other stuff first!! Great dr!!
QuiltedMadness: Would not address diabetic pain. Didn't remember his first diagnosis which would eventually require surgery. Recommended therapy and since patient couldn't afford it then there was nothing else he could do. Gave patient non-conforming insoles ("These are the highest arches we have") didnt make sure they fit except for shoe. Dr. sent them on their way. Will not make another appointment!
KATE NIKODIM: Thought he was knowledgeable and very helpful!

Mcshane Foot & Ankle Clinic: what do users think?
Tina Williamson: Rude, completely arrogant. His time was far more important than anyone else’s. Supposedly “fixed” my bunion and removed an extra bone on the opposite side of my foot. I have been absolutely miserable since. He completely messed up the nerves. He insisted on injections between my toe, after 4 of them, finally told me my insurance would not pay for them. Not that they helped anyway, just a huge bill. I walked out and will never be back.
Jjblove: I understand why they have such bad reviews. Can't speak on how the doctor is but the office staff is very rude. Try a different place or expect snide and rude comments.
syndee Moore: I personally thought the doctor was just fine and was nice to my daughter while taking care of her Ingrowns. However 2 months later and we still don’t know about the insurance. The front desk guy always has a bit of an attitude towards everyone, not just me. And he seems super unprofessional. At this point we ended up leaving for our last follow up appt and won’t be back. The staff is too unfriendly and seem to hate their lives. They can bill me whenever they finally figure out what’s covered or not.
Bryce Ratzlaff: This place is a joke! I was just trying to see if I could get my 8 year old daughter an appointment and I was asking questions and I could hear her (Dee) getting irritated with me and next thing I know she hangs up on me. I called back to ask why and I get ridiculed for calling back to ask why she hung up on me telling me that I am telling her how to do her job when I was just trying to get some answers for my daughter.
Ryan Davis: I had an issue that needed to be addressed quickly and walked in. The nurse Dee saw how much pain I was in and got in me in the next day. Dee's "bedside manner" was amazing and Dr. Mcshane was so knowledgeable and skilled. I got instant relief. They are all professionals and so nice. I'm so glad I walked into their office.
Everett Brewer: Do not ever go to Dr. McShane. I had a neuroma in my right footHe did surgery on it and it didnot workKept me coming in every week and giving me shots. This was several years ago and to this day I can hardly walk. He dropped me to find another doctor.Linda Brewer
Laura Meadows: The reviews sum this place up pretty well. 2 stars, only because Dr. Yuhas was alright.
Billie West: Dr. McShane is good and seems to know what he is doing. However, his desk clerk/receptionist/insurance expert, whatever you want to call her (Dee) was very rude and condescending. Kept telling me I didn’t need a CT of the left foot against what the doctor said, then kept putting it off. Never got that CT scan and lost my job because they wouldn’t send papers to Sedgwick about extension of my medical leave unless I kept paying $40 per each extension. I was on leave with no income, how am I supposed to pay that? Needless to say, I lost my job because of all the needless delays and lack of care. Haven’t heard from the office since July. Got sick of all of it and found another doctor. Hopefully all the delays in getting help has not caused my condition to worsen to the point that I will not be able to get another job that is not sitting at a desk. Thanks for nothing, really.
Melissa Oconnor: This place is horrible rushed threw are appointment didnt listen to any of our concerns! Went cuz it was in our network and sent us a high bill. Don't care about patients just $!!
Elizabeth Mills: Receptionist was extremely rude and felt condescending. I didn't even make an appointment because he told me he had another call and barely gave me time to respond before putting me in hold.
Jackie Bennett: Dr. Mcshane should be sued for malpractice and negligence. My husband went to him around 5 weeks ago to have toenails clipped and a callous on his little toe looked at. He dug the callous out. Then he went back 2 weeks later and dug it out some more. by that time it was very deep and my husband being diabetic I wondered why Dr Mcshane did not send him to a wound clinic. But I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I did the dressing changes as he ordered twice daily. Then 6 days prior his next visit his toe had gangrene in it and it had to be amputated. This was negligence if I ever saw it. I'm an LPN and he should be disbarred don't go to him save your feet.
Cory Hradek: I've been experiencing pain in my foot for months, with no idea as to what it was. I called last week, and got scheduled in for this week. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly. I visited with Dr. Yuhas. He was very knowledgeable and very confident in his diagnosis with my foot. He explained everything simply in terms I could understand. I had Xrays in-house, discussed my Xrays with Dr. Yuhas, discussed treatment options, and received treatment and was out the door within 30 minutes of my arrival. I strongly recommend this office. I've read the negative reviews on here, and I can honestly say they do not line up with my experience today.
Brandy Retasket: We could not be happier with the service we received from Dr. Yuhas in your clinic. First of all, we were scheduled in promptly, something we really appreciate. Second, our 13 year-old with ingrown toenails was extremely apprehensive about having her toe worked on. Dr. Yuhas was patient and kind, taking the time to explain all parts of the procedure. He worked hard to make her experience as painless as possible and made her feel at ease for the entire appointment. For our child with anxiety about Doctor visits, it was a wonderful experience. We appreciate you all for the wonderful care our child received. Will DEFINITELY recommend McShane Foot and Ankle Clinic to anyone needing expert care!
Jenny Tanner: Dr yuhas is very good dr. he is very kind and he is fixing my foot. How ever the front desk lady is very rude and mean just becareful what you say to her
Alan Queen: I found them to be rushed and not interested in me as a customer. The Dr. was rude. And I did not get any help with my foot or my ankle. I feel it was a waste of money and time.
Chris: Excellent attention to the issue. Its clear the Dr knows what he is doing. I am so happy we went to Dr Mcshane. Thanks!Had to update ... Umm billing is a bit of a mess. They are keeping a couple hundred dollars of ours because the lady refuses to work with UHC and told me to do it. I did and they explained they already told her everything that they are telling me... I never called her back to tell her this, again, as I was sick of dealing with it. I don't expect them to give my money back, but it would be nice.
Willie D: VA has sent me to Dr McShane. I am glad they did he has done very good with everything including the surgery. Also his staff is very polite and courteous. I would recommend him for sure.
Susan Reaves: I saw Dr John Yuhas at the McShane Clinic. He took very good care with my routine “elderly feet” visit. I asked him about my arthritic big toe that hurts sometimes. He said that was something just to watch and didn’t push any kind of procedure. I felt very much appreciated during my visit. And I also appreciate them❤️.
Netanya Thomas: I went in to mcshane to remove an ingrown toenail, he told me that it's just better to remove the whole toenail to prevent this from happening again. After explaining my options a little more I agreed to have both sides of my toenail removed and the roots killed to prevent them from coming back. Not only did he butcher my toe, he missed part of the root which caused an infection. Which has led me to having to get this surgery again by a dr that knew what he was doing. I highly DO NOT recommend mcshane!
Pamela Walton: After reading the reviews I still decided to schedule an appointment here because it was listed on my insurance provider's website. I called on Wednesday, made the appointment, and explained I had ripped my toe nail almost off of the nail bed. Right after scheduling appointmentI faxed over front and back of my insurance card. I called back on Friday (they were suppose to call me back) to confirm receipt of fax and if my insurance was accepted and they didn't know. I called again on Monday to check to see if my insurance was accepted and they said that itwas and that everything was good to go. Tuesday day of my appointment which is was at 1pm I receive a phone call at 1048am on my cell and work number and when I return the call I was told they did not accept my insurance. So, I called my insurance and confirmed that they are listed. I called office back and was provided this abbreviated explanation, they do not take my insurance because they reimburse very little for services, process claims very slowly, and they have requested to be removed from my insurance list years ago.I waited for my appointment here and could of called another office and scheduled one. From my interaction with this office I'm fairly confident that the negative star ratings and previous reviews are correct. They made no recommendations on how I could receive help or where I can go to get assistance....they could of said the ER or something. All they seem to care about is money (if you go to this location I would recommend reviewing claims and bills very carefully; something just doesn't seem right about this place) and quantity of patients they can get and not quality. I booked another appointment with another podiatrist and thankfully they had one available in three days.
C. L.: I was convinced my foot was broken. I have insurance but did not want to get stuck w/ a huge hospital/urgent care bill! - I feel so lucky to have found this place. - $60 co pay as they are specialists - $39 for my XRAY!!! - other places quoted me HUNDREDS and couldn't even get me in for over a month! (WHAT?! - like hello my foot needs medical attn NOW) They took me as a walk-in THAT DAY. The staff was SUPER friendly. They got me in almost immediately. They reviewed my Xrays with me so I could see what was going on for myself. - They also took the time to teach me how to wrap my ankle. (you always start at the toes and work your way up =] ) ... anyway, I'm sorry to anyone who has not had the best experience here. They were my angels sent from above when I thought all hope was lost. $99 took me all the way. A true blessing for sure3

Hoyland Chris a DPM: what do users think?
Kurt and Sally Larson: The negative reviews below are not fair. Dr. Hoyland is a highly respected expert in her field, and in my experience as a patient of Dr. Hoyland, she demonstrated a great deal of knowledge of human anatomy and the challenges we face with conditions of our feet. That is exactly what I want in my physician. For me, it is far more important to have a physician who is knowledgeable of the human body, who is on the cutting edge of the latest medical techniques, and who knows what they can do to help me, rather than a someone with a warm fuzzy bedside manner. Dr. Hoyland is certainly very matter-of-fact and will give you her no-nonsense opinion about what you need to do to recover. For those that don't think she listens, I suspect it is more about the patient not listening to and following her advice.
Grace Elizabeth Woodruff: My experience with Dr. Hoyland was TERRIBLE! I came in for her to look at my feet. She did not even look at them! She said there was nothing she would do for me. Said my x rays looked great, and said I should not be in any pain. (Which I am!!!! THAT'S the reason I came to see her!) She saw me for like 5 minutes. Her bedside manner is terrible. I felt like I could not talk to her at all. It was always her word over mine. Imho, go see someone else, who will listen to you!
Connie King: This is the worst doctor I have ever been to in my life! She is rude. She does not care what you have to say about your issues and why you are there to see her. She is supposedly a podiatrist and she NEVER LOOKED AT MY FEET! Never touched my feet or looked at them nor did she look at my x-rays that SHE ordered. I had to ask her to look at my x-rays and then she flipped through them in about 2 seconds and had NO COMMENT! If you need a podiatrist in the Cox network you are going to have to go to an independent that accepts your insurance. Awful service! And since my experience I have had others say the same thing about her!
