StrawBadger 1567: I have been a customer of this business for a long time, unfortunately, this was my last time. I'm tired of waiting 2 weeks to get my dog in, only to have them book multiple dogs around the same time. In doing so, they do not devote time in completing the service for your dog at the time scheduled. After 3 hours, our small dog hadn't had her hair cut yet. I was informed it takes about 4 hours for a small dog.... seriously? The excuse was they do not have a receptionist. Very disappointing.

Garbo The Original: I'll just start by saying my dog appears fine, there seems to be no injuries or trauma and that's the biggest concern right? Thats why this review isnt lower. Outside of that, the attitude I got when I dropped him off just didn't feel right. I was informed my dog was done and headed straight there, upon arriving I stood for about 3 minutes waiting, I then tried yelling hello a few times, and then I tried calling while I was standing there just to get someone's attention. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure a lady sweeping saw me and ran to the back, for what reason I don't know. I then continued to yell louder and louder "hello" until finally the sweeping lady came back, she acted like she couldn't hear me with one hesdphone in and smirked and had a rude tone while checking me out. If they are willing to be so rude to a customer to their face I can only imagine what happens to a misbehaving dog. It doesn't matter how many AKC posters and certificates you have when you treat customers like that. I also wouldn't be obnoxiously smirking when I was about to bust down your door to get my dog back, it probably wouldn't have been so funny then, huh?
April Strub: Went to large chains for years with my pups and recently stumbled across this place and my King Charles came home looking the best she ever has!! Could not be more happy with everything. Would recommend to anyone and everyone looking for all in one grooming services!

We went in for a summer cut and they styled her face and tail and had a beautiful 1/2 inch to inch all over with a sanitary shave that did nit leave any razor rash. We have taken her to 3 other places and they did a great job at a fair price.

This place is amazing. Not sure of the groomers name, but this is the best wash and cut he has had in his five years. Five stars all day!Try them if you are looking for a great grooming experience!

Darlene Kendall: Took me a bit to really think about this review. Bottom line, I will not go back. Double charged me unexpectedly because my dog wasnt tolerating the grooming. I know my dog isnt the best, but I have never had a report that he was so bad he needed 4 groomers to hold him down. If I knew he needed 4 groomers to hold him I would have asked to just hault the process so I can pick my dog up. I needed to have a warning before the drastic upcharge.

Brianna Scott: Worked there for about 2 months and the attitudes are so fake once they don’t agree with what you have to say, the pay is horrible and would not recommend to anyone, job or customer! Very over priced for the customers!
Nikki Sullins: Took my toy Aussie in for a grooming. I haven't had the time or patience to try to groom her due to just having a baby so we decided she could use a grooming. They were friendly and did a great job on her groom! We added a deshedding treatment to get the undercoat and it helped so much! They even put the cutest little feather on her ear! Will definitely be going back!

I wish I had better pics because she was very excited to get home. The only downside I have to say is they are very hard to get on the phone however they are incredibly busy so it’s understandable. Katie Daniel: We have used Bark & Bathe for grooming, doggy daycare, and boarding with our two dogs. They always do a fantastic job with grooming. They also do a great job with daycare and boarding. One of our dogs gets pretty nervous, but even he settles in and does fine there.
Whitney Weddle: Tracey at Bark and Bathe is pure magic. She has groomed two of our dogs, both rescues who needed to learn how to handle grooming. Aside from looking fantastic, she has such a way with dogs that it puts them at ease. Highly recommend.

David Uzzell: I hate doing this. Took my dog there for a bath and grooming. They said he was too matted, so they shaved him. Dropped him off at 9am. Received a text at 12:30 he was ready…then a follow up text that I had to be there by 2pm or it was a $15 “Extended Stay” fee. Next day he had an accident at home, first time in almost 2 years. Has turned super clingy for the last 4 days.. Found a huge cut on the bottom of his ear scabbed over. No clue what happened but it wasn’t good. Semi friendly staff,, overpriced, and a $15 surcharge after 5 hours? If you love your pet, this isn’t the place, sorry.

Linda Weidner: Stopped grooming on Saturdays and booked appt in March 2022 for June 2022 on a Saturday as I show up they said we don’t do grooming on Saturdays anymore. No call or message was left on either of my phones. Bad communication to let people setup an appointment for a weekend grooming and stopped it in April 2022. Will not go back to earn my business.

Kinsey Taryn: Fine enough job for what they actually did, I guess. They didn't do/finish an ear cleaning on either dog, or a full sanitary trim on one of my dogs. Left a lot of hair that still gets covered in urine since they are VERY fluffy. Also missed or just didnt do all of the nails on the back paws after I specifically asked for those to be trimmed and dremeled, since I already trimmed the front and also just needed those dremeled and smoothed down. The perfume or shampoo or whatever it is they use also smells really terrible, like expired old woman perfume. It made me gag, and I had to wipe my dogs down to get rid of some of the smell. Be extremely specific and check your dog before you leave. I'm not going back.

Tina Means: The employees are all super friendly and keep the place clean and neat for the safety of everyone. Highly recommend taking your pets here for grooming, training and boarding!
Kaylee: I took my dog in for a walk in nail trim as they only take nail trims as walk ins. when i went in i told the girl that she was still a pup and had only had her nails trimmed a few times and is still a little nervous. i offered to hold her so she could trim her nails and she declined. when i asked she rolled her eyes and huffed. she got very upset when my dog wasn’t cooperating as she has only had her nails trimmed a few times. she asked another lady to help her as they were both very mean to my dog. it was also a very over priced nail trim. when she was done the lady was very rude to me as i had not said much to her other then offered to help her. i payed the over priced amount and left. i have not and will not be back. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!! they are rude and disrespectful to the dogs and owners. i do not recommend this place to anyone.

Sometimes they do art work with your pup and when you go to pickup your pup you bring home some of your pups art work to hang on the fridge. I’ve been taking my pup here for daycare for over a year. I highly recommend taking your pups here!

Jim Weaver: Several months ago my wife & I started with this place. We take 4 dogs total, $185 every 6-8 weeks average.. When they first opened, our visits were due to a certain groomer that does a great job, she still does a great job & the dogs love her ! Yesterday we had forgotten about our appointment at noon.. I rushed them across town & at 12:53 was told she was finishing the table & then one more, so it will be about 3 1/2 hours. This happened 8 weeks ago ( we didn't forget our appt then) & I was going to write this review then because it was 4 hours, 2 dogs. Unfortunately this place has outgrown itself & books more dogs that can be professionally groomed in a day. At this point, we are picking our dogs, not bathed well, or notbathed ? They smell dusty & e dogs now when we leave. They are in intense need of a potty break, IMMEDIATELY! They are thirsty. What was once a 90-120 minutes for 2 dogs has been as long as 4 hours, hence, overbooked. The price has increased also and Janee Timmons is the owner. I am all for betterment of ones self, but not at the expense of others.

My dog always leaves looking and smelling good with the exact cut I requested. Pricing reasonable and transparent. Customer service is beyond expectations. They tend to be booked pretty far in advance (1-2 months) so I'd recommend booking ahead of time and booking soon for an awesome groom

When I picked up my dog from their salon, she didn't seem to have had a bad experience at all. She smelled FANTASTIC, her nails were trimmed perfectly, she was soft, fluffy, and in amazing spirits. She still smells fantastic 3 days later, and still looks and feels amazing and clean. My only regret is not writing down the name of the groomer who did my dog, because I'd love to give her a special shout out.

johnna feazell: I would NEVER take my dogs anywhere else! I went to Vanity Paws when she was in Springfield and without hesitation, followed her to Republic! I live on the east side of Springfield and driving to Republic was not even a question. Buck, my bassett, is happy to go there! She is personable to humans and is attentive to the dogs and knows them personally.

Zoey Springer: My husband just sent our Pyredoodle to be groomed today. I was really impressed. Her new haircut is sooo cute, just the way I love!! I can't be more satisfied with it!!! We didn't have much good experience with the grooming stores we went to before. I guess those stores had too many dogs in line and didn't have enough time or something, they either shaved my dog without beforehand notice, or got soapy water into her ear during the bath which gave my dog ear infection afterward! We definitely feel a change this time. Our pyredoodle girl came home so calm and happy, really clean, fluffy, and a cute haircut just the way I like. It definitely made my day! We will definitely be a repeating client. Oh, and the price is great too!! I will recommend it to all my friends!!

I was so happy when I picked up my pups and they took the time to tell me that everything went well, (they were done quick, I live 15 mins away and barely made it home for lunch and they were calling me to pickup.Seriously impressed with you guys, will continue to bring all 3 of my fur babies to you guys.

Kenneth Madden: DO NOT USE!!!Made an appointment through text Tuesday Feb 22 with phone number indicated through voicemail. The lady responded she had an opening Friday Feb 25th @ 11:30. Her last words were “I’ll see you then”. I drive from North of town to the grooming salon, when I show up no one was there or answered phone. Never responded to text about missed appointment. With the absence of communication and professionalism, I am disappointed with this company. My dog and I are very disappointed with the way things went down!!

Kristin Boles: Spoke in person this morning to the grooming manager who set an appointment for 2 PM for a nail trim. Show back up at 2 o’clock they tell me I don’t have an appointment. Even though I got a text message. Tried to explain to the lady behind the counter but she kept talking to the lady behind me Instead. Very disheartening after I plan my whole day around it. And this is all after each time standing in line for well over 15 minutes. They definitely need more help

Justin Barnes: It is not bad but they really lack help. It takes forever to get assistance and when you do they are pretty much clueless. The fish department is really bad . I can walk in and always find dead fish and unattended to aquariums.

Lindsay Brown: I am so thankful for Country Paws! I have two dogs, one of which is usually very sensitive and overdramatic about his feet being touched at all. I took in my easy dog for a nail trim and asked them about my difficult dog. They were very kind and had me bring him right in to give a nail trim a try. They were very very quick and gentle and got the job done with him barely even noticing what was happening! I will recommend them to anyone that will listen!

Gloria Renshaw: I should have left this review long ago, but our most recent experience really got me. I'll share the condensed version of our story.We searched high and low for a good groomer prior to finding Country Paws. We were looking for someplace to take our Maltese that would treat him with gentle love and pay close attention to his needs. We also wanted to find a place that wouldn't keep him all day or over charge. Then we found Country Paws. We have been taking our dog here for over 5 years! Now our dog is getting older, (he just turned 13). On our last visit to Country Paws, our dog was acting very sleepy. I went inside with him and before the woman even took him from me, she went to a closet and got out a warm blanket for him to lay on while he waited for his turn. Then she got him a bowl with fresh water to keep next to him in case he got thirsty. I was so touched, I could have cried. She said "We like to keep our older guys comfortable." I'm so thankful for the work that they do and for the special care they give our dog, Moses. To them, they see our dog isn't just a dog, but a very important part of our family.
