Martina Spencer: Love this pawn shop they are always so good about helping and I recommend them to anyone looking for a loan.
Jacob Walker: My wife had came in to sell her camera, the employee on staff didn’t even bother to walk up to the counter to greet her, she was offered some money last week but was told to try online first and if that didn’t work she was welcome to come back. The employee mocked her to another employee in regards to what she was offered. The customer service was garbage and we will not be returning.
Reign Of Darkness: The lady I had talked to couldn’t even come up to the counter to greet me, was offered money for the product I had brought in the week before and was told I could come back if selling it online didn’t work out. I was mocked by the same employee when I had told her what I was offered. The employee was rude from the get go and didn’t even want to do her job. Will not come back since the customer service was trash.

alterpen: I made a purchase on gunbroker and several attempts to pay after several calls I finally made contact but Crystal stated she was at lunch and that she saw she had several missed calls and thinking it was emergency she answered. She told me call back later I told her I was on lunch as well and that I get lunch’s when I can as I work a production job yet she refused to except my payment. Even after I explained to her I had the money right now. She still refused to except it. This caused me to be a non-paying bidder an froze my account. It’s pathetic that Loftis has GB people and both take lunch at the same time and NO BODY else there will help you. Beware of this company as I have done business with them several yrs and have bought several firearms both on GB and in person but NEVER AGAIN will I darken their doorway.

Raymond May: This is the worst pawn shop I've ever delt with. I would rate -1000 stars if i could. I had some items in pawn, and went back every single month to pay the interest so I wouldn't lose them. I was told time, and time again that my items we're ok. I did pay on the one's that according to them that we're due. Come to find out that they flat out lied to me, and sold some of my items. If your in a jam, and need to pawn something, do NOT do any buisness here. Do your research, and find a reputable pawn buisness.

Patrick Dougherty: Worst experience ever. The two at the counter were slower than sloth. I had literally 3 people in front of me and it took over 45 minutes just for my turn to finally be seen. So after waiting almost an hour, there was nothing they “could do” to help me when I did not know how to take a pin off of a laptop. Like, I understand ultimately it’s my problem. But, when I even asked if there was anyone that worked there that knew about computers that could help me, I couldn’t even finish my sentence before she repeated that there was nothing they could do to help. Yet, they have help wanted signs because they can’t get people in to work. I wonder why!
Gail Dean: All of the employees are friendly and helpful. Not usually crowded so you are able to take time looking around. Have a good variety of stuff and they have layaway. I go there every time I am in town.

I'm a single mom who had to quit their job due to getting my baby back from her dad finally and I have no babysitter close by to watch my baby so I couldn't just magically come up with the money. I just needed 3 days and I would have had more money than the owner or manager was even asking for, but it was too late. Not a family store for sure he did not care about how important that ring was to me!

Remember pawn shops aren't in business for handing money out , but if they are a good shop, they'll deal with ya, this shop does.

BrAnDoN J244: Place has an okay selection but as far as selling gold, stay away. Brought in 14k gold when spot price at 14k was about 34 dollars a gram. Had 6.6 grams worth $228 in weight. Only 1 gram of gold was scrap and the rest was weight of a ring they would of sold as jewelry yet they offered 90 bucks. I know they have to make money but I feel bad for those who dont know their stuff walking in here.

When we got it back it was super dirty and we could tell that someone was shooting it. Where it shoots was super black as well. They even used our bristle brush because it was also super dirty because we left the box with them. I wouldn’t go here if you’re trying to pawn a firearm. Never again. It even smells like it was shot.
Preston McGinnis: My fiancée and I went on vacation in Branson for a week. I decided to look for a ring at near by pawnshops. This was our first place we looked at. We found a ring that was slightly too big. Although her ring size is a 3.5. We decided to look around a little and we came in next day asap to purchase it. The jeweler was also able to resize it PERFECTLY and got it done before we left! 5/5 Stars. Very HQ store and the cleanest we stopped into during our trip! Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

He is a true gentleman, a pleasure to talk with and ask questions, and has the integrity I look for in a businessman. He spent time with us and educated us on the value of our jewelry without trying to muster a sale. He was genuinely interested in giving direction as to what was best in our case. Because no purchase or sale was made after talking for some time I offered him a twenty dollar tip for his time and sharing of knowledge. My time is valuable and so is Winston's. he refused the tip and said he enjoyed talking to us. This is a good man running an excellent family pawn shop and I recommend The Gold Exchange highly. 10 STARS...We will be back

Joshua Burleson: I’ve been going here for awhile, I usually pawn the same thing when I need some extra cash. I always pick up my stuff also.! So today I brought in the item I needed to pawn (nice condition ps4 pro) same one I’ve pawned multiple times. She told me that ps4s are outdated, that she could do 75, so I asked for 80 thinking it wouldn’t be a big deal and she literally said no… 5 dollar difference. Kinda threw me back.. as they said they are outdated ps4s,,,yet they don’t even have a ps4 pro on the floor and the ones they do have are the older gen ps4s and they are asking 210 bucks for them. 5 dollar difference… then act like pawn pickup history don’t matter..I have a perfect history with them and they told me no over 5 bucks.. I just grabbed my stuff and left after that. Never coming back here again.

douglas tucker: By far , the BEST pawn shop in Springfield ! After 19 days on a ventilator w/ pneumonia...I had to restructure my car ins payment...and a couple other c/card bills. Walked into their pawn shop..a bit apprehensive about getting a loan on some of my tools, then later my iPad, never once did I have to haggle for my loan. I come from a city where there's a pawn shop on every other corner, and most try to make you feel some type of way, disrespect you, and rarely loan 1/2 of what your asking. NOT here, they were very helpful, and I would recommend them over any other Pawn broker in this area !!
yarelis peralta: This place sells products that are not in working condition. I brought a game system and after the first one wouldn't read discs they gave me a second one that was also broken and didn't download anything. When i went to take it back they offered no refund. Instead they brought the game back from me as is and only offered $40. Even though i didn't break it and it was sold to me broken. The cashier stated he only checks to see if discs play. Nothing else. He stated that pawn shops sell items as is. They don't check for damages. Bad place to get any electronics or gaming systems.

Within 2 days of purchasing a stick welder, that I paid non pawn price for, but actually paid full price of one you can buy brand new, I called to see if I could return it explaining my mistake and was denied a return even though it was never even plugged in. So yeah now I'm stuck with $150 worth of merchandise that is worthless to me and can never be returned

Stinson Leppla: I have lost respect towards the gentleman who is in charge of this pawn shop, I referenced two close friends to this guy and one friend bought 2 guns (new) and other friend bought a firearm as well. Im not expecting any compensation or a thank you just respect. I come in today and was treaded with rude mannerism. I simply asked if he would come down 10 dollars on a 21 year old damaged bow that is obsolete. Im a very socially awkward person. I have health conditions that make me shake a lot. But for the loyalty I give for just being kind is now being disrespected for simply trying to support a gentleman and his business and as for not getting what I asked for that's fine. My close friend ordered a firearm and received the one not promised upon purchased either. I recommend people to not support this establishment and support ones that disserve.

Dakota Brewer: Terrible place to go. The people are rude and try to low ball on prices. The customer service is terrible. They can’t tell the difference between fake and real jewelry. The items in the store are expensive. I wouldn’t recommend coming here.
Rose Lynn: Absolutely worst pawn shop ever. I was treated very poorly (probably cause I’m a woman) the dude offered be $40 for what I was selling I asked for more and he said no. So I let it go and told him I would take it. Then proceeded to just stand there and look out the window and ignore me. I asked multiple times if I was gonna get the money or to see what they’d buy and still got ignored. The phone rang and dude walked away and answered the phone and just ignored me. So I left. WORST PAWN SHOP EVER!!!!
