Becky Anne: The store has converted to almost complete self checkout. I do not recommend shopping here unless you are only grabbing a few items( like 10 or less)-If you are going to fill up your cart there simply isn't room to check out. It's only a tiny square area allotted for items. You cannot put your cart in front of you to check out as it will hit the next person. Nor can can you stand at the end to unload items as then it's in the way also. There's only one spot for bagging and it won't fit your own bags- even the bags that Walmart sells. It's very poorly designed.There is a regular lane but expect a very long wait. Super frustrating.

Paige Norris: Just another location of this hideous company where the employees act as if shoppers that arrive after 10pm are a HUGE inconvenience. Unopened boxes of cheese covering a good portion of the cheese area making it impossible to shop. Pallets piled everywhere. The security guard yelled at me from 100 feet away “SIR! The registers are shutting down in 3 minutes!” I’m a female —Wearing a faux fur coat, knee high duck boots and a glittery sock cap. Not to mention the DD bust line. Very rude and offensive. Not to mention that he’s older than dirt and couldn’t stop any type of crime if his life depended on it. WalMart is a disgrace of a company and I wish it were easier for me to make it to Price Cutter, HyVee or even Aldi rather than going to a different Walmart for the same rotten experience and overpriced food. And why their shelves continue to be bare NOW…? It is such a mystery to me. Even WALGREENS has some food items cheaper than Walmart now…Dr Pepper 2 liters at Walmart…$2.48 EACH. At Walgreens…3 for $4, on sale this month, but regularly 3 for $6. That’s not even close!! PLUS there are 2 locations of Walgreens open 24 hours in Springfield…so us nightowls don’t have to rush around trying to get there before 11pm. I don’t understand WHY Walmart can’t pick one location—just one!—to keep open 24 hours in Springfield. Walgreens Always has a good crowd after midnight. People that work nights or evenings need things after work. They’re putting themselves out of commission by their own stupid corporate decisions. I personally am ready for them to go down in flames. They’ve done it to themselves.

Tony Westmoreland: I've worked up at this Walmart in 2021. Had to quit due to personal family matters (mother has cancer). A few years later I decided I wanted to work here again, as I've enjoyed being a Cart Attendant. But for some reason Sandra Youngblood will not hire me back. She has told me that once you quit, you are put on the "No-Rehire-List". And had also said, in a rude stern manner, that once someone quits, they could do it again. I couldn't even give any explanations whatsoever, she did not let me speak. This is against Walmart's policy! It's been well over 60 days. I am not terminated via the site, I am still eligible for rehire. And here I am, without a job.

Connie Westerman: Dropped my score today from a 5. When I buy fresh fruit and veggies I will peel, I don’t mind the cashier touching them. Today, however, the cashier took my peppers out of the bag to scan them. She was wearing a mask. Was this to protect me from something SHE has, or was she trying to protect herself from me? Why not just look at the umber through the clear bag and enter it, ornlook it up? That is what other cashiers do. Also, her hearing was bad enough, she could not hear my mother or myself. Today was frustrating.

It was 20 minutes before closing when i arrived, so i pretty much just ran through there and got the things on my list. (Now, the fact that i had a list WAS extraordinary) But this walmart was fine. Adequate. I didnt notice any gremlins lurking in corners or an odd odor in the back corner with the freshly baked goods this time, so ima call it a win!Update 1-6-23A young man in the pharmacy dept. named Cobe got this review upgraded to 5 stars. There has been some issues involving my insurance and a manufacturer savings card for a medication I take. I brought in something I found online about how to obtain the discount (I really couldn't decipher as it was in a language known only to the "charming" community) Mr Cobe happily looked over the paperwork and did some magic keyboard stuff and Voila'! It worked! And he was super nice and polite the whole time so I wanted to thank him for making pharmacy visits something I don't dread anymore. He's awesome!

Lance Amillion: WARNING ALERT SHOPPERS:⚠️⛔️🚫jamie and chelsea and a majority of the checkout attendants have made my shopping experience VERY unpleasant because of the bias and discriminating treatment towards me as i am a loyal Walmart shopper for many years now, only to be treated as a criminal and humiliated in front other shoppers. I am now in process of filing complaints so they can be held accountable for their prejudiced actions. It has been made very clear that "certain people" are not welcome and SHOULD NOT shop here. It is evident from my experience that Jamie is not a people's person and certainly does not have the proper managerial skills to retain this position.

When I encounter the most foul smelling atrocious looking monsterous excuse for an employee. He spawed out nowhere with his giant cart stacked high with boxes of produce. And nearly. Ran. Me. Over. This is unacceptable behavior from a lowly WALMART employee. I would have spoken to the manager, Jamie, except for the fact that I couldn't stand being in that treterous store for ANY longer.Besides that, I had a delightful experience.4/5 Stars
