Mercy Clinic Ear, Nose and Throat - E. Seminole: what do users think?
Jessica Redker: I'm pretty sure this place forgot how to answer the phone... I've been waiting for them to answer for 27 minutes now... still says they are open till 430pm it's only 403 wonder if anyone will pick up the phone today?
Bruce Marlin: Never have to wait very long. Staff very nice and helpful.
Heather Leverich: Very unhelpful, off-putting, dismissive worker answered the phone after waiting on hold for 15 minutes. She walked right up to the line of being actually rude. Not feeling very excited about my appointment at this office anymore.
Madison Moritz: I've been bringing my daughter here for 5 years now. They have fit her in a hearing aid, and now she has a choclear. The staff is always nice and informative. They also go over and beyond to help us schedule appointments around her school schedule. If you are Deaf or HOH, they can also order you an interpreter to help during your appointment, but you have to have this request in advance.
Carol Guard: The most incompetent unprofessional doctors office I've ever seen. Twice we made an appointment for hearing evaluation and both times they thought we were there for something else and both times her hearing was not evaluated. Today they suggested we wait 2 more hours in order to have it done, 3 hours past her appointment time. We were treated rudely. Doctors office had a seat that my disabled mother almost fell out of when she tried to sit in it. Seat and arms off chairs have rips in them in the exam room. Horribly disgusting office
SnowKatrina: Friendly and over the top!
Zac Rell: Was supposed to have tonsillectomy back in December. I have had tonsillitis 7 times from August- December of last year. And I’ve always had problems with my tonsils. They kept postponing the surgery. Well, yesterday was supposed to be my surgery date, and it seemed promising. However, I got all checked in, and they sent me home, and told me I would need to reschedule because they had no space. I can barley swallow food as it is because my tonsils are so enlarged! I do not recommend this place at all!
The Doosings: Dr. Martinsmeyer is great. Dr. Box too!
Tara Parsons: This place is amazing from the front desk staff to the nurses to Dr. Van Ess! Dr.Van Ess answered all my questions and did my sons procedure with such confidence and was so nice and understanding (this was my 4 year olds first surgery so I was very nervous) so I was a little worried. I highly recommend Dr.Van Ess and his staff!
Kara Friebe: Dr. Hodnett went above and beyond for me and my health. Yesterday my surgery was scheduled for 2:30 pm and we weren’t able to get the surgery started until about 6 due to staffing issues. Dr. Hodnett stayed at the surgery area around my room patiently waiting the entire time until we were able get the surgery going. I will recommend Dr. Hodnett to anybody who needs to be seen by an ENT. Mercy Hospital is very lucky to have a Dr like him who is compassionate and someone who really cares about his work and getting the job done! Thank you Dr. Hodnett!
Bobbie Winder: I am so impressed with Dr. Alphan and the staff here! They were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure my little guys experience was as good as can be. I would definitely recommend them!
Jake Crutcher: Dr. CrozierWow! This guy is the rudest most condescending person. An absolute jerk! Seems to care very little about what patients are dealing with or going through. I'm 36 and never get sick. I've been battling a sore throat for 6 weeks. He suggestion was to refrain from speaking and rinse with saline. Cox should be embarrassed of this doctor.
Nikki H: The staff here was very friendly and helpful. The hearing specialists was kind and explained everything to a way I could understand (no doctor jargon.) He wasn't in a rush to move on the the next patient until I understood the results of my tests. Thank you!
Joy Kiley: I have never interacted with a Doctor and staff in all my years in the medical field like Dr Mimics .She and her are incredibly compassionate and kind. They went far beyond my care and what I could expect with my Thyroid cancer they even helped me with boarding my dog!!I would reccomend this Doctor to everyone!!
Angie “Angie”: Recent allergy skin prick testing revealed positive results for all allergens tested, including a control prick of glycerin. Therefore, the conclusion was that my skin is overly sensitive and test results were reported as negative. Although the test was likely invalid, perhaps due to skin sensitivity (at this point the underlying cause of my reactionary skin is unknown, unless Jennifer is an expert diagnostician in various medical fields) the results were reported as negative, instead of positive, or invalid. In my opinion the tester, Jennifer, reported the results inaccurately. I would not recommend this facility for diagnostic accuracy.
Syderial D: The allergy specialists here are very forward thinking and helpful. The pricing was a third what the Smith Glynn allergy clinic charges. The option to use drops instead of shots is awesome. The staff is friendly and will do anything they can to help or answer questions. Very good service.

Ferrell-Duncan Ear Nose & Thrt: Fenwick Jeffrey R MD: what do users think?
Laura Betz: Excellent care and so nice. Had visits and surgery.
K C: Very rude clinic manager. No availability. Need a referral to be seen. Extremely long wait to process a referral, 1-2 weeks AND then the referral wait time to actually get an appointment is 4-6 months per their un-empathetic clinic manager. You can do better, Coxhealth.
rachel Matti: We don't live in Springfield had to drive from Bolivar. My daughter got car sick because she has an ear infection and that's why we were there. Just because she got sick in the trash can. They refused to see us. She literally was asking for food afterwards. Plus we already got push backed a month already on the original appointment. I even told them you can COVID test her and flu test her..
Coolbeans 1960: Dr. Fenwick has a great knowledgeable, compassionate staff.
james hulsey: Dr. Jeffery Fenwick is a very knowledgeable and skilled surgeon. Before and after the surgery he explained in detail what was going on and why I needed the surgery . I was very pleased at his professionalism.
Dalton Swindle: My appointment was canceled 3 times and rescheduled. I've been waiting for about 6 months and have been unable to get in. Ultimately, I was frustrated and gave up. I will attempt to see another provider at a different clinic.
Grayson M: My partner went in for a cat scan appointment that was set for 11 (the notification and appointment card said 11) they lead her back and told her she missed her cat scan and they treated her like she was stupid. Apparently the cat scan was set for an earlier time that they did not inform her of. They rescheduled her for two months out without asking if the time or date would work. Handed her a map and shoved her out the door without allowing for questions. The lady at check in mentioned nothing about her missing the cat scan which I assume would have been mentioned in her file. It was a very poor experience. Di better.
Darlene Kendall: Woman over the phone gave me the wrong street name. So I ended up missing my appointment
Jonathan Schmidt: Dr Fenwick has been a great Doctor .... But the fact is when you get referred to see Surgeon and he is so booked you schedule a appointment six months out then that surgeon cancels you the day of !!!!! And the patient is a minor child .. I won't be using there surgical services that's forsure.
Raechel Beethe: I love that Dr. Fenwick listens, answers all of my questions and is very informative! Plus my kiddo adores him and he listens to her to!
Greg Pope: Dr. Jeffery Fenwick surgically excised a skin cancer lesion on the left side of my neck where it meets the shoulder, and damaged the spinal accessory nerve to my left arm. (I should note that I am left handed.)I complained about the nerve pain at the excision site as soon as I awoke from anesthesia. Fast forward approximately 6 months post-op and after multiple follow up visits, Dr. Fenwick stated;"If after one year there is no change, I will cry uncle and admit that I did something wrong".This comment prompted me to seek a second opinion with my primary care doctor regarding the lack of care and follow up by Dr. Fenwick and his office.Dr. Fenwick never did generate a referral to any other neurologist, or neurosurgeon for any aspect of followup.I did however get a referral to the Mayo Clinic from my primary care doctor. One year to the date of Dr. Fenwicks blatant malpractice event with me, I had a peripheral nerve graph surgery at the Mayo Clinic. The neurosurgeon at the Mayo Clinic stated that there had been too much time since Dr. Fenwick damaged my spinal accessory nerve for a complete recovery. He had hopped to see me get 10%-25% usage of my left arm from the surgical repair.Had Dr. Fenwick recommended that we address the damage sooner I could have had a better overall outcome. Because he never recommended any avenue of help I have lost 90% use of my left arm. Had Dr. Fenwick not been so cavalier about his error, I could have still been able to use my left (primary) arm..... He needs to be investigated by the medical board for malpractice, and stripped of his license!!!
ROGER Moore: I believe Dr Finwick is a knowledgeable doctor and appeared to be a good person in the time I was his patient. The biggest failure was communication, it is important to follow up with someone if you tell them you will. We were not on the same page, my fault or his or both, I am not sure.
Rita Lange: Doctor Finwick-----In my oponion is a top notch doctor. He is polite to me. He listens closely to me and what I have to say, with good feedback. Sincerely, Rita
B Dobbs: Didn't fix the long turn problem, but did get one problem solved. Plus they are super quick.
Rose Logan: Dr. Fenwick perform a tonselectomy for my son he is a wonderful doctor!
Melissa Moore: Dr. Fenwick is a very kind and caring doctor and has a wonderful sense of humor. And his staff make you comfortable.
Patti Ott: Dr. Fenwick and his staff could not have been more supportive and helpful at a time when I needed it most. This is what Healthcare is all about!

Jacob Smith, MD: what do users think?
Colleen Murray: Best ENT!
Bill Hohulin: Dr. Smith saved us after an epic failure by Cox Hospital. My son was supposed to have ear tubes put in and not until after we were already there at 6:30am doing the pre-op stuff we were informed the doctor was not coming. Dr. Smith took us on as a patient and got the procedure done the very next day. He also prayed with us before the procedure. Dr. Smith 5 star even though Cox hospital is terrible.
Temee Nash: He's the best ,he's been there for me through rough times. He has compassion &prays with me before procedures which helps me greatly.
Stephanie Barner: Simply put, he is the best! And ambidextrous, which makes an excellent surgeon.
Charlie O: Doctor Smith is great! He fixed my hearing loss with one simple surgery. Seeing him again next week. He has an awesome bedside manner and will pray with you if you want. I highly recommend him.
Lori Wanamaker: Dr. Jacob Smith and his staff were extremely helpful and compassionate towards myself and my husband. We both ended up having surgery for us to be able to breathe better through our nose and was treated with respect, courtesy, and compassion by Dr. Smith. I would highly recommend him for anyone that does have an ENT issues.
Tracy Looney: Dr. Smith performed my sinus surgery. While in pre-op, he took a few moments to speak casually with me and my family. He is compassionate and his bed side manor is phenomenal. I was especially grateful when he asked if he could pray with us prior to surgery.
Smudge Johnson: I had dr. Smith fix my nose after I broke it. He was very good about explaining the process. He was polite and knowledgeable. He will have my business any time I need an e.n.t. specialist. I highly recommend him.
Marsha Scott: I would recommend Dr Smith anytime , he was great . When I had a issue after hours and he was not on call the Dr that was let him know what was happening and I was contacted by one of his staff to help correct the situation. He and his staff were great
Andrew Jordan Michael: Had tubes put in our 15 month old’s ears. Dr. Smith and the staff at Cox Surgery Center were AMAZING. Wait time was minimal (of course it was scheduled). The nursing staff brought toys and entertained our child. Dr. Smith was courteous, genuine, and patient. Our child is normally difficult. She is very stubborn and vocal. We’ve dealt with continuous ear infections and multiple ear drum ruptures this year. Due to surgery, our 15 month old couldn’t eat or drink the day of. We prepared for a really stressful morning but had an experience better than we could have dreamed of. It really went that well!We can’t overstate how appreciative we are for Dr. Smith and the staff. THANK YOU!!!
Michelle: took great care if my dad.
Jerry Dunnaway: He prescribed a medical test for me that almost caused a stroke & drove my blood pressure up so high i had to be transported to the emergency room to try & bring my blood pressure down before i could leave the ER.Beware of CAT Scans where they inject DYE into your body without knowing if a persons body is compatible with the DYE. It had a very negative affect on me & i didnt appreciate being experimented on where no one is accountable for their actions...
Mark Brown: Dr. Jacob Smith was great this man saved me found my cancer and removed it!!
Julia Younker: Sat for 45 mins after my appointment waiting while people with the same Dr that had appointments after mine were seen by Dr.

Ferrell-Duncan Clinic: what do users think?
Regina Reaves: The nurses will just push you out the door with very little instructions. They have a unit secretary named Pinky who also does nothing really to help if you have any issues but just to tell you everything you're fault. I told her that patients should be given instructions since I am not medically trained so I don't know how to care for someone after ACL surgery. I had to find a YouTube video on how to have my husband do breathing and coughing exercise because I had no clue. The doctor was great but the same say surgery behind the Bone and Joint Center is horrible with Customer service. DO BETTER!!! If I could give no stars I would.
Steph Day: I have been here twice with two different family members. The overall experience both times was easy and things went smoothly. Most of the staff has been friendly, knowledgeable and professional. However, there have been one or two staff members here and there that were more rude than friendly, and not as helpful with kids as they should have been. Hopefully that is not the experience for someone else.
Richard Matti Jr: Reschedule my daughter appointment for to there over booking finally come in my daughter threw up do to having ear infection what where here to have checked they would not see her. Highly recommend find a different doctor!
Ashley Aponte: My kids get sick after surgery
Starr: Love my doctor!
Christy Burrows: If I could add a negative star instead of one star I definitely would.Four days prior to surgery day my husband went to the ER by ambulance. Waited 5 plus hours only to be seen for 30 minutes and told they couldn’t do much and sent him on his way in massive pain with a script for Valium so he could just relax. After that we had to go to do an ekg and x-ray in which he was in level 10 plus pain and they didn’t seem to care or change anything because it “had to be done”. He could not sit or stand due to his surgical need. However during the x-ray he was forced to sit. He was crying in pain. The day of surgery my husband was in level 10 pain sitting in a wheelchair and I told the registration person when we came in that they were expecting us after we had spoken to several people for pre-registration and nursing and he needed a bed right away. He was due to have back surgery that morning and his pain level was off the chart. Waited another 5 minutes while 40 plus people in the waiting room were staring at us as he was moaning loudly in pain and still we waited as they took others to rooms. Went up to the desk and demanded to speak to a patient advocate all while my husband was nearly sobbing and finally a couple minutes later we were taken to a room. This is the worst hospital system we have ever experienced. Would love to share a video of my poor husband so you can see how real the pain level is but I will not embarrass him in that way. Apparently the patient really doesn’t matter even though we were told by several people over the phone that there would be no waiting and all registration would be done in the room at bedside. We were told they would be expecting us and a room would be ready immediately. What a dang joke.As a side note the doctor and nurses were phenomenal but the bureaucracy hindered their ability to effectively do their job and prevent him from being in terrible pain.
Billie Welch: Nurses and Dr. were all wonderful woman at front is awful she yelled at a older woman waiting on her husband for coughing she told her it was the third time and as the woman put a mint in her mouth she told her no more. Then I also saw her being rude to a older man for having his mask down while trying to tell his family a update on his wife. It would be nice if you could find someone with a smile on their face to greet people. 😊
James Collins: Some of the finest primary care and endocrinology doctors in Springfield; quite possibly the planet; they have the same type of support staff as well; I wish there were six or seven stars to give them☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Cheryl Erkmann: In the Building besides the Surgery Center. My Doctors office is their. Call Adult Medicine, there are several Doctors that treats Adults. And Diabetes Doctors. Thyroid Specialist. Also has a Lab. There's a Office of Ear, Nose, Throat Specialist.
Jackie Coutts: Excellent caring and amazing staff, I can't thank them all enough for the great care and compassion I received during my surgery and time there. They are truly the best of the best here!
Rhonda Hagler: Went for pre OP and everyone was so nice and thorough. The RN was a compassionate, kind person. Highly recommend
Rene Urbano: I had bilateral carpal tunnel surgery with dr. Cook and I had Tom as an anesthesiologist Hannah as my nurse and the pre-op and post-op I was in a surgical suite everybody was friendly and nice very calming I got everything I wanted and I had a good time definitely working in these people again
kenneth spaanem: I had surgery on 9/20/2019. The entire staff at the surgery center were amazing. This was by far the best experience that I've ever had in any surgeries in the past. The nurses were very friendly and the care I received was the best ever. Thank you for making me feel like family!
cheryl harris: The staff at Cox Surgery Center are very professional and polite.
Cave Man: Had excellent experience during my surgery, nurses were very nice and very professional.Dr. Jacob Smith did a great job on my sinusitis post, during, & post surgery, explained all details of the surgery, before and afterwards. I feel better than I have in years!

Randall David MD: what do users think?
Michelle Clifton: Dr. Randell was kind and patient with all of our care and questions.
Luis Tovar: when somebody look at you and think that you are stupid as you discrive you symtoms and said i dont know what are you tacking about and make his desition on what he said i dont know what you tacking about, that is when you know that his not a doctor for you!!
Sally Deckard: We sought after Randall for my daughter's enlarged lymph nodes. He came into the room and spent the total of 5 minutes looking at her. He was very dismissive of the fact that her lymph nodes were swelling for no known reason and weren't responding to rounds of antibiotic. He asked for Unnecessary tests involving her hearing which she isn't having an issue with. After 5 minutes he said "well it's not the size of a ping-pong ball so I'm not really that concerned" and left.
Charles Church: I am a fellow professional in the area who always refers to Dr. Randall when the need arises in my hearing aid practice, unless the patient requires care under the Mercy medical system. Everyone likes this guy, and he's always resolved everyone's issues with speed, skill, and compassion. Would highly recommend.
