Cathy Shafer: Bought a Covid test kit, got home, the date on box didn’t match up with expired date on test kit. Phone call, they said they can deliver one but need Dr Rx. Doc called in a script for testing kit, when I called to schedule a delivery, they then said FedEx delivers for them but it will be 2 days! So I went to return it as directed, register denied the return request. Happened to see the store mgr who solved everything quickly, what a wild goose chase.
Brady Marshall: Last month, I moved into an apartment across the street from Mercy, where I just started a job. And I've stopped by this Walgreens after work a few times to shop for something. When I asked an associate for help looking for something, she kindly helped me find it in a timely way.A special bonus, when I once stopped by to buy bandages, I heard Shakira's "Try Everything". That's the theme of "Zootopia," one of my favorite movies.
Keith Owens: My opinion on Walgreens as a chain is lower than my opinion of this location. I'm a fan of the pharmacy staff - we've been going there for more than ten years now. Convenient and close to Mercy too, of course.
Kevin: Solid store with a great reward program. They also give coupons for products that are actually relevant and useful and the end of every transaction. One of the few stores that are still open 24 hours a day for those late night ice cream cravings.

Jeffrey Smith: I go there to pick up my medication. As I'm leaving, a white woman walks down the isle where the liquor is, nothing. I walk down it, didn't even go anywhere near the liquor, looking for my tea, an announcement over the loud speaker saying customer needs assistance in the liquor isle. I asked the clerk why it said it for me, and not the white lady, who was standing right next to me at the time, she says it's motion sensored.A motion sensor that detects if you're not white??I told her I didn't believe her and left. Would you believe it?
Jason Sargent: I asked the cashier if I could get cash back with my purchase, she said "yes." After my transaction I said "what about the cash back?" She said "oh, sometimes it doesn't come up on the screen, but I can fix it."She scanned something and said check the screen. The cash back option was on the screen.I got the cash back but was charged for the small item she scanned, it was a caramel candy. I told her I didn't want to buy the candy, I had already made my purchase and paid. She handed me the cash and candy and responded "well, if you get addicted to the caramel, don't blame me."The lady behind me laughed and rolled her eyes.Maybe she has a stake the caramel candy business!? HahaThe store was clean but in rough shape. The check out lanes looked torn up and the steel handicap markers outside were rusted and paint coming off. It looked trashy. You would think being right across the street from a big hospital, a pharmacy would be in better shape.

I had asked them of they use WIC and this was after I was told from jordan valley that all walgreens use WIC due to it being on the list, but the fact was being disrespected like that is not okay and it is putting stress on my pregnancy right now trying to resolve my WIC card problem and it should pop up as WIC prescription, and they had no clue of what WIC is. I don't even feel like going to this store anymore but when I don't have a vehicle due to not being able to afford it, it is the only choice that I had because it is close by to me. I don't feel like I'm being treated right at all when I go in there to shop for food and other stuff that I needed at all.

I called, in case the hours were simply inaccurate. When the lady answered, she explained, "We decided to close early." Multiple unhappy potential customers. Must be nice to be able to do that. Scott Martin: Been using this Pharmacy here for years until today. Picked up a prescription that was a 2 week dose. For $31.00. I get home and think that’s an awful lot for a 2 week dose. Look it up on GoodRX and it’s $6.00 for a 30 day dose. So I call up there and explain the price difference and she says “well you already picked it up and paid for it.” Tells me this not once but 3 times. Says she can’t give any sort of refund because she billed my insurance. I NO LONGER have the same insurance they keep billing for the last 3 months!!! I have told them numerous times!! So I explain I’ll just go some where else. The tech says “well that’s fine you go ahead and do that” and hangs up on me. LOL!!! Great customer service. Not once did I raise my voice or get an attitude. Now after she hung up on me I can’t say the same. It’s cheaper for me to use GoodRX then go through my insurance at just $4.00 a script through WalMart. If you’re needing any prescriptions use the GoodRX app and save your money. I’ll pay less now for the inconvenience of going in to Walmart.

RELENTLESS WOODWORKING: The staff may be friendly but all except one of them suck at their job! They either go extremely slow and constantly have to call a manager because they don't know what they're doing or they don't know how to count change and have to call a manager because they don't know what they're doing.Either way, they don't know what they're doing.Dealt with a lady cashier tonight. My total was $15.65 and I handed her a $20 bill. Said she didn't have enough one's so she called for a manager. I told her I had $0.65 so she could give me my change and help the next customer. In which she said, "That won't help until she gets up here because I still don't have enough one's." SERIOUSLY?! I literally had to sit there, dumb it down, and explain to her that the total was $15.65 and I gave her a $20 bill so if I gave her $0.65 then my change would be $5 and she could just give me a $5 bill. Her response? "Oh...yeah, I forgot about that." WHAT?! How do you forget about having $5 Bill's in your drawer?!Then the manager got up there and said, "You have one's under the drawer tray. I told you that when you came in and that's where they're always kept."*face palm* I literally live 5 houses down from this store but I will start making the 5-10 minute drive to Walmart from now on because the people who work at this store make it worse than dealing with the people at Walmart 😑🤬

Samuel Mobley: Came here to pick up a 6-pack of beer, but the cashier decided I must have buying for minors because I was in the store at the same time as a group of college students that I had never met or even spoken to before. Luckily, price cutter across the street sells Yuengling for the same price that Walgreens sells PBR, so maybe I lucked out. Terrible customer service, not buying from this Walgreens ever again.

I retired from my route where I pick up from them, and the ladies at the photo counter went above and beyond. They got me, out of their own money, cup cakes as a going away present. The pharmacy has also helped me amazingly. It was always a joy stopping by and seeing them, it will be the only Walgreens I go to.

Pentax Fotog: Last night at about 9:45 I needed two sets of the wallet-sized prints for a project. I was able to submit them to this Walgreens location which closes at 11 p.m. I called the store and explained the situation to them. Not only did they make sure I had my prints, but someone at the store cut the sheets apart for me. Above and beyond!

Lauren Wilson: I have been here several times for photo related products because it’s location is closer to where I live, however in comparison to how other Walgreens handle their photo orders this one is lacking in its processes. I placed an order for same day pick up days ago, and instead of telling me the day (or even the next two days) that they couldn’t process my order (I assume to bring out of the product) they simply canceled it. I got an email days later. This happened at another Walgreens but they called as soon as they received the order to let me know they were out of the product. That is how it should be handled. This was a gift that now I cannot get to the person. Communicating with customers is important.

J C: I've been using needles/syringes for seven years now, the one thing I absolutely despise is when I ask for them and they always ask if I have a prescription....Instead of asking if I have a prescription, ask me for my name and info like any other person, always making me feel like a druggy or something when asking if I have a prescription for needles. It's very embarrassing when there are other customers listening.

thendrix65804: Good selection but pharmacy services could really use an upgrade. Have to wait 3 to 6 days to get my full prescription filled every month. Have been filling same prescription there for 5 years and they still never have it all at one time. Now they use a call center for the pharmacy and it's terrible. Call center never has given me the correct date to pick up medicine and the call center staff doesn't listen or seem to care.

Rachel Hansen: I’ve only had good experiences thus far at Walgreens on Republic & Fremont. I’ve been to the pharmacy a handful of times. Both pharmacists are willing to help. One gave me an OTC alternative to my Rx saving me $300 (and I okay’d it with my doctor). Another time the pharmacist helped me get a coupon to save money. Keep these pharmacists around- they are good people. Prefer this Walgreens over the CVS which is a tad closer to where I live.

Since when ? The lady at the window was extremely rude to Me lied to me and told me there wasn't a pharmacist on staff and when I called the store the actual pharmacist answered to tell me she will yell at her for me there I yelled at her for you if you want your needles you can come inside and hung up in my face... like what the heck I will be calling the corporate office as soon as possible and I hope something gets done about there staff because the reviews are terrible and they have worst customer service I have ever encountered!!

I regret my choice!! The medicine wasn't covered by my insurance, okay... The pharmacy worker told me it was super expensive. My medicine only costs $20 at MY pharmacy!!!! I do not know why it costs so much at Walgreens and their workers are snobs!
Kristy Stacy: Went in this morning to get some covid tests so my sick husband can test. Ran through insurance. Then she tells me it’ll be 30 minutes to an hour to fill. This surprised me because maybe you’re busy but slap some stickers on a box, give it an okay and get rid of me. I work in pharmacy and we are also always short staffed. You figure it out. I went home to wait and called after an hour had gone by and the lady told me it would be another 30 minutes. I told her it’s already been longer than the longest originally quoted time. She asked me if I would like to file a formal complaint. Really?!? That’s what you say?!? Not “sorry I’ll get on that” or “ I’ll let them know to give more accurate times”? Not to mention I called the wrong location on accident at first (s National) and got a sarcastic “are you aware you can use the app to check this?” Yeah I was aware but it wouldn’t show me. Your customer service is a joke and you all should be embarrassed.

They change the quantity and then wonder why my insurance is flagging it as wrong. They've even delayed for WEEKS saying "out of stock" but when I go to the store they tell me they got a new shipment in at the beginning of the previous week. I'm a type 1 diabetic and they delay my INSULIN. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Stay away from this store, every issue I've had is the fault of the store pharmacists and tech.

Medication started to be delayed when we call they state oh I don’t know what happened we will get ready for you in a few hours. One time they even admitted they forgot to ship it. I don’t know what is going on but I even kept giving grace of a few days every time I sent a request to fill it just for them to say to they forgot to fill it. This is people’s medication if they can’t fix this issue I am gonna find a different pharmacy very soon!!

My experience at the pharmacy was an absolute nightmare.We came in on an appointment for a Covid shot, once we arrived the person at the check-in area seems to be very untrained and frazzled. While waiting for the check in process, I overheard the very rude pharmacy manager barking orders at her staff, who are clearly stressed out and overwhelmed to begin with.Once our check in clerk/pharmacy tech took our check in sheet to the pharmacist manager, we heard her very loudly say “oh no, there’s no way I’m doing a vaccination tonight, I’m way too busy. I don’t care if they have an appointment there’s no way.”Having realized we overheard her, she very rudely told us that if we wanted the shot, we could sit and wait 45 minutes, but that still wouldn’t guarantee that she would be able to help us even though we had an appointment already.When we told her that we were OK, with the way, she acted like it was an inconvenience, and then flat out told us “you know what never mind I’m not doing any vaccines tonight okay”Mind you, she was raising her voice and being very rude throughout this whole process. Definitely not someone I would want to let anywhere near me with a needle ! Her name is Susan Quick, which is ironic considering the majority of the reviews for this location say that getting things done here is anything but quick!Please pray for this location, and do yourself a favor & don’t come here for the pharmacy unless you absolutely have to.
Shawn Jackson: This location is an absolute joke. I’ve been waiting almost two hours in the 24 hour drive thru to get my daughter’s nausea medication. Unless you need life saving medication avoid this drive thru late at night. Having one 24 hour drive thru in a town of almost two hundred thousand people is an absolutely stupid idea.
Kyle Politte: Terrible service. Couldn't find medication for my very sick kid. Waited to ask for help at the pharmacy since nobody else could be found. 3 Pharmacy techs helping one person and nobody could help me. Had to ask the cashier who pointed me to where it was. There was nothing in stock so I got a substitute. Went to check out, cashier just vanished into thin air so I can't check out. Go to the CVS across the street instead.
Carter Govro: go to literally any other pharmacy. they seem to go out of their way to make things more difficult than they should be. I use goodrx and the price for my prescription was supposed to be $20 and the pharmacist (very rude by the way) said on HER end goodrx says $150 after the discount. which is funny because everywhere else – my phone and even THEIR OWN RECORDS showed me paying $20 EVERY OTHER TIME. i’m still in the process of figuring it out and in the meantime, i have to figure out something else.this pharmacy is disgusting and so are the pharmacists that work there.
Kristin Sneed: Used this pharmacy a few months ago when I had a HORRIBLE double ear infection. It took 6 phone calls between the urgent care & this pharmacy, plus about 4 hours to get my prescription. I was originally told it would be ready in 20 minutes just to find out after hours of “it’ll be ready soon” that they couldn’t even find the prescription so it hasn’t been filled at all. Fast forward to tonight, I have bronchitis and my husband was going to pick up my prescription after he got off and when I called to see how long it would be, they told me about 15-20 minutes. An hour and a half later he calls me to tell me that after waiting half an hour in line, they told him it wasn’t ready yet and asked him to pull around to the back of the other line & then it “should be ready” by then. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I understand being short staffed, we all are, but that doesn’t excuse giving extremely inaccurate & unrealistic wait time quotes for prescriptions to be ready. The only reason I even came back a second time is because they’re the only 24 hour pharmacy. Figure out how to live up to your quoted times, or learn how to quote them correctly.
