Tiff g: My daughter and I went in for breakfast (just the two of us).We walked in stood at the front for 15 minutes before one of the servers came up to the front to help a door dasher, server told me she’d be back with me shortly.I’m pretty sure she completely forgot about us until she saw about 6 other people behind us waiting to be seated as well.When she comes back up she acted as if I was invisible and ignoring me when I was talking until everyone else around my daughter and I started telling her we were there before any of them.Server finally seats us.We wait at the table for 25 minutes waiting for someone to take our order even though two of the other female servers have helped the two tables closest to us.I had to ask someone else (Elizabeth) if there was any way that our order could be taken, at which point she was and has continued to be the most kind and polite person here!!!She took our order, our food came out quickly and was all correct!!I think this woman truly deserves a huge raise!!!!Thank you Elizabeth for being so genuine!!!!

Stephen Fullerton: Village Inn is a Springfield staple, as it is based and found only here and surrounding communities. You can easily compare this place to Perkins or Dennys and be on par for similar atmospheres and foods. But I always try to support locally owned establishments and small businesses when I can.The food it good and hot. Not all made from scratch. They do pride themselves on their pies, and those are very good. I always recommend the breakfast skillets.Place is generally always clean and tidy. The bathrooms as well.

Red Lil' witchy: The restaurant was dirty, smelled, menus dirty, seat dirty. Service was slow. At some point our friendly server was replaced by a rude one. I only ordered hashbrowns and they were greasey... I can still taste the grease on the roof of my mouth an hour later. Imagine being disappointed by hashbrowns.So disappointed 😞
