John Conley: I watched the service online for several weeks before attending in person. Good praise and worship service online. Today we attended. First impression was ok, was greeted at the door but that’s where it stopped. Inside was pretty busy. The music was extremely loud, more like a concert. And I don’t mind loud music but this was very loud. Hard to hear the vocals. The message was good but there was not much explanation about the communion which is a weekly ritual. Seemed a bit to ritualistic and not having much significance of what communion really is. At the end it was very much like a concert with loud music or sports event and all of a sudden everybody rushing out.On appearances seemed like a nice church but not very welcoming or reaching out to visitors. More like get them in and out and move on.

Larry Crouch: The church was put in the woods I grew up in and they said they don't want me there. I was welcomed into the church then searched by a police officer before I was allowed to attend the service. They said they thought I was a terrorist because I had a backpack. They offered to help with a "benevolence program" and when I came back with the forms they gave me they looked surprised and frustrated.The pastor told me he thinks God's plan for me was to be in jail. when i asked him why, he said to witness. I sometimes used my food stamps to donate to their food drive but I would not attend a service after that.One day I asked why they never came through on the benevolence program and the pastor said maybe if I were a member of the congregation they would have helped me. They butted be out of my favorite personal space growing up then wasted ALOT of my time when I was really needing some companionship. I would highly NOT recommend!

Hydraulic Saint: Fantastic place to attend. You can definitely tell the depth of faith in the leadership team. The works and faith present in Northside's congregation is a testament to their following of Jesus's original mission. I may be painting with rather broad strokes, and I am not unaware that every church has its members of a... Less faithful constitution. But since beginning here, I have been astounded by the number of people with a true, deep, rooted faith in Jesus. A rare find these days. The worship on Sundays is phenomenal, the preaching and teaching by the head pastor, as well as other leaders of the church is incredible, and the opportunities to "get plugged in" abound. Truly a remarkable body of faith!

Natalya Crisostomo: We have visited Hope several times , overall it was a good experience. However, the most recent trip left me wondering. Our whole family was seated right behind the pastors' family; when the pastor did the greet your neighbor bit, not a single member of the family said hello to anyone around. They just sat there like some type of celebrities that can't be bothered. This is not some no one said hi to me complaint. I am an introvert. I just think it looks bad for the church if their main people are unfriendly. I also would have loved more Christmas songs during Christmas. The singer voices are Amazing.
Sean Fitzgerald: The atmosphere is extremely friendly and the worship is awesome but the Word is rarely taught so you won't need to bring your Bible. Is this a church or worship center ? I go to church to hear and learn the Word of God. They have a rotating Pastor or speaker so it may take 5 weeks to hear the senior pastor.

Denise Cochran: I want to give this church 10 stars. I am so impressed by everything about this community of Christians. The services have been so powerful, spirit-filled and fulfilling. From the first time I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with smiles and encouragement. I was hugged and even invited out to lunch on my very first visit. This community, to me, exemplifies the true picture of the Christian Family. They pray together, they fast together, they eat together and there are plenty of opportunities for growth in the Lord for both adults and children. I love this place and share it whenever I can with whomever I can.If you've never truly felt the Holy Spirit move through a room during prayer and worship, then you must really come and experience prayer and worship at Hope. It is my "Hope" (see what i did there ) that you will be as happy there as I am.Oh and the Worship Team!?!?! OUTSTANDING.

I will not return for this reason, because God hold believers accountable for who they listen to as well as the one teaching!!!! The Gospel MUST be RIGHTLY divided!
A/C SuperCool: We visited here from NOLA this weekend while visiting our spiritual parents here in Springfield. Absolutely the best, most beautiful, Spirit filled, worship, preaching & prayer time we have ever experienced. We definataly experienced a very close & intimate time with our Lord here!!! The Lord has His hands on this church and all whole attend. He has great things for this church!! I pray Gods blessing over all His people here!!! Love it!!!

Audrey: I only went for maybe three months because I was only in the state to help caretake my grandpa and even with caring for someone with liver cancer, being a neurodivergent person and coming from a lot of spiritual trauma as a queer person I have never felt more spiritually save and protected then I have around those people. Even though I wasn’t there for long I still always come back to visit when I’m in the state.

Caleb Nolan: We (my girlfriend and I) have only been a couple of times so far but plan on making this our new church home. The greeters are very friendly, the worship is solid (maybe a little rocky for some peoples taste), but most importantly the Pastor is kind, loving, and preaches directly from the Scriptures. The church hosts numerous anonymous groups for those struggling with addiction, and is active in the community. They’re understanding, not judgmental. You don’t have to pretend to be someone or something you’re not in order to fit in. This church is perfect for those hurting, seeking, or struggling.

Paster literally over and over admitted to his own anger, preached politicians shouldnt be involve in health decisions then in same breath clearly and openly became angry politician for the US radical left, preaching those political goals. He looked fimilar, saw him preach 1 time at. Church in Rogersville, so so angry and again angry leftist politics filled his message. I've always defended all churches for they have a purpose for the people that need them...this obvious message of anger and politics hidden in a soft voice pastor is deceiving at the least and dangerous. Preaching anger, left/right radical politics, approval of movements that promote violence to others and property in my mind is not healthy or spiritual. Thanks

Miriah Fowler: You won't find a more loving and welcoming church no matter who you are or where you are from. They truly live the message love your neighbor.
sinclair lewis: Liberal theology and the pastor seems like a pretty nice guy. I wish he would dress his age and get a decent haircut though. They never ask for money, which is nice. I never hear talk of small groups, which makes it hard to meet people. The music is so-so. Sometimes they have this band of super old dudes that "rock out" to hits of the seventies, which is kind of cringe. But compared to the many pep rally leading preachers who say the phrase "come on" before every other sentence, he is pure gold.

I am glad that this church is affiliated with my old churches in Miami and Michigan. People and the service here was amazing. I was fortunate enough to attend the beginning of their at the movie series. I guess this place has more than one campus wish I had the chance to meet the lead pastor. I know a few people who lives out by Marshfield Springfield area and definitely would recommend checking this church out and if I am ever in the area I would love to stop back again.

Whitney Evans: Know Jesus, find hope, discover your purpose! This place feels like home. The teaching is always from the Bible. We don't compromise but look to the truth in God's word. We love to serve and worship and constantly grow closer to God. This church values a relationship with Jesus over everything else, and also makes it easy to have relationships with other believers.
Kerry Troche: We moved to the area and began looking for a home church. After visiting several others we tried Courageous and found our place! We immediately felt welcome by the people there. We loved the feeling of expectation and excitement we felt just walking in. We came in a little bit late (and it was packed for Christmas) and someone gave us their seat so we could sit together. The worship service is loud, which, if I had read this I might not have tried it, but now I love it! You can tune everything out around you and just spend time with the Lord. The preaching is authentic and Bible based! It’s all about Jesus and Gods word. Not watered down. We needed this! They have multiple small groups you can go to and meet more people. It’s awesome. You need to try it!

Jesse Carwin: We were denied to attend. We have medical conditions that make it dangerous for us to wear the mask, as many Americans do. We are healthy otherwise and were looking forward to attending a lovely church while being in the area. They were unwilling to accommodate us. It's really unfortunate that a church would put the authority of the state above the authority of Jesus and deny two children of GOD access to their community. It is especially unfortunate considering all the studies which show that the mask does nothing to prevent people from getting the virus or other people from getting it from you. They call themselves "Courageous" but maybe they meant it ironically.

Hope for today Generation: You can feel the Love and freedom, if your there for just one service. Worship that is Holy spirit filled and just free. Warning, you may be greeted and hugged by almost everyone at the church.They are so very friendly and we love people.The preaching is prophetic and timely, and every member of this church is going to make it in the rapture. James Everett: Wow!!! Just wow!! This is an awesome church! You have to try it. Great preacher and great staff. Everyone is so welcoming. You are made to feel like family on the first visit. Beautiful facility too, super clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this church . I have known this pastor and his Executive pastor for many years. Webb Wiley: This church is an absolute gem. It's pretty unique in that it seems to have all of the positives of a seeker-friendly church without sacrificing discipleship and verse-by-verse sermons.

Gracie Ayers: I had an instant connection to the worship when I walked into the doors 3 years and I've been coming back every since. This church has so many different ways to get connected and serve the church body and the community. A place to be filled with sermons that challenge and minister and also a place where you can pour out. If you follow their Instagram and Facebook they are posting mid week check in on Wednesdays and Sunday morning devotionals, it's a great way to still be plugged into a community, during this "inside season."

We also enjoy the overall messages and the size of the church. We didn't feel lost in a crowd and felt as if we could get to know others on a personal level in a short time span. Thank you Emmaus!
