Ashlyn Gerla: When I went to elegant nails, my nail tech didn’t listen to what I was wanting, and I had to point out his mistakes multiple times because of his lack of attention to detail. He would continuously talk about how great it’s gonna look but do nothing to fix the issues. He wouldn’t accept the fact that he didn’t do my nails right and only did once I had to ask another lady to help me because he wasn’t listening to me. Then after that they processed to laugh at my nails and talk about them continuously after he had made them look like a 5 year old did them.Service:Acrylic nails

My oldest daughter took my youngest daughter for her first big girl nail experience, she's nine. They treated her with the same amount of love and respect they would any other paying customer. This particular salon has had the same owner for well over 20 years. He has built a clientele and a name for himself in the nail salon market. Thank you for such great service Alan!
Theresa C: I have been going to Elegant Nails for 2 years now. I should have written this review a long time ago as Alan, Alex and the team are WONDERFUL!! I actually drive 1 hour and 20 min just to get my nails done here, that is how good they are! I get gel on my fingernails and toes as I like the fact that they don't get messed up the minute I walk out the door. Actually, I don't get my nails filled every 2 weeks as I work out of town a lot. But, they still look GREAT if I wait 3 weeks. I started taking my daughter and grand daughter here as well. They are so patient with a 5 year old! We also get her gel nails for her toes and they last so much longer. I can't say enough about the customer service and how friendly everyone is here! After we moved to Missouri I thought I was never going to find a salon that does a good job as I had tried 5 or 6 other places closer to home. I stopped in on a whim one evening and how this is the ONLY place I will get my nails done!!KUDOS Alan! I typically have excellent experiences at elegant nail, however the lady that I had today did not listen, was extremely rough, and would not let me get in word on. She constantly kept sticking her nail into a cut that I have on my thumb, was talking to the other employees the entire time and not paying attention to my nails. I had French tip put on and there are sparkles, black Speckles all in it and whenever you hold the nails up to the light you can see through each and every air bubble. Brandy Magana: I called made a noon appointment. She didn't get me in the chair until 12:40 in which after doing so jumped up and was running back and forth between me and 2 others. Then after filling my nails down for the pedicure passed me to another lady for my Pedi when she was filing she filed it so hard it bled. And I was not impressed. If you can't actually spend your full time on someone don't schedule them & please be more aware of if your hurting the client or not. This is not to hurt your business because all in all the finished product was good. But I wanted to make you all aware so maybe you can schedule better and not rush & hurt the client. Thanks

Was there once at a bridal party for a lot of girls that had appointments and it was past closing time and a woman came in wanting her nails done and all the girls were doing nails and a lady threw a fit wanting hers done and wrote a review saying they rejected her. She was very rude to the workers and they were already past closing time and she expected her nails to get done now! Well they work very hard and have lives too. Make an appointment and don’t come after hours and expect your nails done. Then don’t write reviews lying saying they refused to do your nails. I didn't catch the name of the lady that did my nails but she was also was very good. She is the first manicurist in a while that has made me happy. She got all the dead cuticle from my gardening hands and she didn't skip over any steps and each nail got her full attention. I need to get her name.. I am rough on my hands.. the gel is holding up great! Tracy Bradley: this is usually my favorite place to come to get my nails done. Unfortunately, the last few times I’ve been the amount they charge is outrageously more than anywhere else I’ve gone and this recent time today I asked to get that done and they didn’t have the color and the dip that I wanted which is not the reason I’m writing this review however the lady did tell me that she hast to charge me five dollars extra to use the dip and then to have shellac painted on which is fine I guess I understand that to an extent however it’s not really my fault that I wanted a certain color and you did not have it in the dip which I’m pretty sure they did. I just didn’t feel like the girl that did my nails really cared to do much of anything that she didn’t have to do . The other thing is my nails looked awful. They were so thick. They were already super short so to have so much thickness on there she did the dip like four times and then she painted my nails like three times with the shellac which made it really thick. It just looked awful . I am not happy with this company anymore and I appreciate your guises business and there are some of you guys that work very hard, and are irritated when customers ask for a certain thing, but it would be one thing if I was a griping customer the whole time I was there, but I just kept to myself and was very nice and didn’t say anything but I’m tired of being silent you guys overcharge and you make people feel like they’re irritating you when they ask a simple favor. To start off the water was cold, I asked the gentleman 5 times to add warmer water….he either ignored me or didn’t understand the English I was speaking…very frustrating! Then he didn’t give me a option on what type of pedicure I wanted he just took it upon himself to choose what he wanted to do, now mind you I asked twice what he was doing and he just shook his head. I had to tell him what to do, I’m suppose to be the customer, here to relax. Then to get to the polish……a child could have done ten times better. I called the front desk lady over and told her what was going on and that someone else needed to do my pedicure because clearly this gentleman had not a clue. Hope Shelton: i wanted very simple acrylic nails which i ended up paying $73 for which is already way more than i’ve paid for more at other places. that’s fine, whatever. what was unacceptable was how rushed and little effort was put into them. there were multiple mistakes; hairs, dents, designs not matching, etc. one of the very simple designs was wrong only because he didn’t take the 5 seconds to look closely at it. the only complaint i voiced was asking if he could shorten the length of the thumb nail because they were way longer than the rest of the nails. he didn’t even say anything, just chopped them shorter, filed them super quick, and called it good. didn’t repaint or anything so now the edges you can literally see my real nail and they aren’t even almond shaped. i had to go out to my car and file them myself to make them somewhat even. if i’m going to pay that much i’d like them to actually be good quality and had effort put into. most expensive and worst nails i’ve ever gotten.Service:Acrylic nails

Anna Bommel: This was one of the worst manicure experiences I’ve had in Springfield.I asked for a dip manicure, but the manicure portion never happened. After applying the dip, the gentleman doing my nails reached for the uv machine used to cure gel. I’ve had one other salon use the gel top coat on top of dip and it was awful, chipped within days, so I requested that the normal dip top coat be used instead. I’ve been getting dip on my nails for years, and never had anyone try to put gel on top until I moved here. He argued with me for a while before leaving the station to go find some. He messily applied the top coat on top of already messy looking nails, then left and never came back. The top coat took over 20 minutes to dry, and the lady doing nails next to my station gave me attitude when I asked for help. I asked to speak to management and was told no one was available. The receptionist, when I calmly told her what happened and that I was not happy with my experience at all and showed her how bad my nails looked, showed me where I could insert my card for payment and then promptly left the desk area as soon as I paid leaving me alone. I sent a message to the business outlining my experience and asking them to contact me over 48 hours ago and no one has responded. Bad customer service, poorly performed manicure, and they’re using the incorrect products for services.

Candice: I called ahead to be sure they could do black chrome nails. When I arrived, they did not have what they needed to do black chrome. The options were really green or silver chrome. I settled on a sandy glitter in black (but they still charged me for the chrome during payment so I paid $75 with tip), and 4 hours after getting my nails done, one had chipped off almost completely. I called about it and never heard back from anyone. My nails were pretty for the 4 hours they lasted. I left town, so I am giving up on hearing back from them about any kind of touch up. For $75, I really think my nails should have AT LEAST lasted a few days instead of 4 hours.Service:Dip powder

Dang greeted me as soon as I walked in and showed me where the dip colors are. Idid have to wait about 15 minutes which was fine and Dang keep me updated and checked on me every few minutes. My husband waited for me and Dang did engage in conversation with him which my husband appreciated. My husband and I moved to Springfield one year ago and I have visited several nail salons in the area. Merveleux is the only place that has done my nails and they have stayed on longer than 8-10 days. This Thursday it will be 3 weeks since my nails were done and they still look great. Tina is my favorite nail tech I have used her for years at Regal and just followed them to the new store! Ashley us just as great! Either one of these ladies can give you phenomenal nails! These are great people 👏 they have all the spa services and can get you in quick! The facility is very clean!I cant say enough how great they do with my nails! I get waxing done here too and have never been burnt or hurt by them! I seriously reccomend this place anytime anyone compliments my nails I'm quick to tell them where I go!
Theresa Tranbarger: They did an excellent job on my nails!! I had them done a week before I was going to have a major back surgery & I wasn't going to be able to have them done for a while. It's been 6 weeks, no chipping, cracking & no lifting of my nails. They did an excellent job on my dipped nails!! So far they have held up better than any other nail salon that I have been to since I began having my nails done again this past year. Will definitely be going back very soon so I can get my nails looking great once again!!

Raylean Shea: I've gone here 3 times the first 2 times were great I got a full set with a design done by the one young man and his wife but this last time I was in I got a full set and they were so messed up not only are the uneven they aren't shaped right nor are they shaped the same as each other on top of that they are crooked and they are already peeling up. When I came back in the next time it was the same older man there as it was the previous day and he wanted to try and fix them I did decline and left without them fixed or a refund because frankly I didn't trust him much after he had cut me 3 times the day before and messed up my nails. They are really nice people and the younger couple are really good but this last time really agrivated me and I dont think I'll be back

Money P: The people were nice while i sat and waited on shorty to get her nails done. They offered ya boi water and wine (moscato). The only thing i didn't like id the smell is too strong. The nail polish remover is overwhelming, they need some fans out somethin circulatin in dat mug 💯 and as hot as it is y'all needa kick the A/C up a lil stronger. Place is clean and professional tho.

Jessica Fox: I have been here 3 times for a mani/ pedi. The first time was AWESOME. The second time, not great but I thought it may have been an off day. Today was my third visit and I will not go back. The gentleman who did both services seemed unenthused about his job and it showed in the service I received. I never get polish, but do expect the rest of the treatment to be completed (cuticles, etc.), which did not happen. When I asked about it, it seemed like a great inconvenience so I left without having received part of the service I paid for. Unfortunate, because the first visit was so great. 😕

So I asked how much for a new set with regular nail polish (he kept wanting to sell the gel polish which i declined) i was told $25 and I said okay. The work was alright though very messy and didn't care to clean the glue that he left all over my hands. Placed me under a dirty none walking lamp and walkedaway. I went up to pay and he told me $35. I asked why and he straight up and lied and told that was the price he told me and that the $25 was a price quote that I asked for gel over my natural nails. This is not okay because this is the second time I have came to get my nails done and was told one price and charge a higher price. I didn't say anything the first time thinking miscommunication but not the case. I don't know if you have price posted somewhere i just can't see but you need to post all your price publicly where customers can see and not misleading people and over charging at the register.

Today I asked for a particular design and was surprised by the price. While the price is not a reason for me to ever stop going somewhere, the way I am treated is. I was shocked with how rude the owner, Laura was. I was told nonchalantly to go elsewhere and treated smugly when I told her I preferred her salon to others. If I was not on a time crunch I would have left. I will not be returning. Service does matter.

Tammy Crawford: I liked the way they did my nails, even, good shaping, and polished perfectly. I didn't like the regular pedicure. For the price, I would hope they would remove dead skin on my heel (it's why I'm paying for a pedicure), but it felt like she was in a rush to be done with it.

Asked for dip but got gel. Language barrier is terrible. I had never had dip before so didn't know the process. I asked if she was doing dip and she said she thought I wanted gel (although the color I picked was from the dipped collection and I told the person that checked us in that I wanted dip). She just asked if it was okay. I said yes because I wasn't going to make everyone else we were with wait for me to start over and didn't want to pay more. My 2 daughters got regular polish and it was already chipping off before we left. The girl checking us out didn't acknowledge it when I told her. Then tried to charge me for more services that were not mine.My nails look like I polished them myself and not professionally done.Instead of trying to rush through to get to the next client, workers need to focus on the clients they are working on at the time that are hoping to recieve a good quality experience.

Michelle Summers: Manipulated a 13 year old girl who had saved her money for weeks by overcharging her for services she didn’t ask for. She called ahead and got pricing, pointed at the menu item and they still took advantage. Perfectly fine for an adult, but not a young girl who has been looking forward to this all month. When I called, they said it wasn’t “their problem.” This used to be my go to place and we frequented this establishment. Unfortunately, the quality of their services has been poor over my last few visits, but I was willing to to give the benefit of the doubt. Not very ethical. Shady and sad. I normally do not leave reviews because I allow people to correct their mistakes. I guess this review is “their problem” now.
