Kinsey Long: Zero stars. Let me start off by saying we chose this company because it was veteran owned. My husband is currently deployed. Alan came out and did an estimate at our house to move all of our furniture and every belonging out of the house while my husband is deployed. Placed my deposit down. Booked the company. May 16th, On day of moving-Movers were very late, unprofessional and cussing in-front of and flirting with my very young teenage age daughters. I also was loading up my truck with personal belongings and moving to my our new location. THE MOVING COMPANY called and said they had finished. When I returned to my home address, my garage was still full of all of my belongings, my attic still had random things up there, inside my house was a ton of random items just left-lamps, pictures, parts of furniture, parts of beds. I was shocked and contacted the company. Then charged me $800 over bid. We tried to resolve this issue with the company via phone calls and emails. No response. They did not finish the job. And wouldn’t get back with us. The only email we received stated that the supervisor hadn’t made a decision. We had to hire another company to come move the rest of our things.Choose another company! They are not Military friendly or honest.
A Klatte: I chose The Moving Company because of their positive reviews. I was not disappointed. I had personal reasons for needing to reschedule twice and they were incredibly friendly and understanding. Allen and Erika were easy to work with over the phone.On the day of my move Brandon V., Brandon F. and Austin W. communicated effectively and moved efficiently. They were friendly and Brandon V. was quite witty and funny.I cannot recommend them enough. Professional, friendly, communicative, efficient and effective. 10/10 Absolutely recommend.

They were incredibly helpful, very laid back, professional, courteous, super easy to work with, and they worked hard and got the move done really quickly! If you are incapable of moving on your own, I highly recommend reaching out to this company! I was stressing about my move for weeks but these guys made it super easy and took a lot of stress off my shoulders!!!

The original quote had been for 4.5 hours but they got everything moved in about 3. They were quick and efficient and never complained about me moving to the 4th floor. Nothing was damaged and they put everything exactly where I asked them to. I highly recommend The Moving Company and will be using them again!

Brett Largent: Our movers were fantastic! We lived on a third story apartment, and despite that, the summer heat, and two couches almost too big to fit through the front door, our guys were able to move all our furniture across town in under 4 hours. And without a scratch to be found! We'd highly recommend Two Men and a Truck!
Cat M: UPDATE 6/12: the general manager called me and apologized profusely. He explained the amount of time that our movers spent was miscalculated and resulted in additional charges. He added that the company is supposed to let customers know before additional charges are put on their card, but they failed to do so in my case. He refunded us and was very kind.ETA 6/10: new rating is above. They charged me an extra $332 after our move with no warning or explanation - I only noticed because I checked my credit card statement. I called and was told they don’t know anything and no one can tell me until Monday when their accounting department is in. Really disappointed because our move was great and so were the movers. Hoping this can be rectified :/REVIEW FROM 5/21: Bridget at the office was great from the start and answered my numerous questions. Riley and Jacob were kind, professional, and courteous movers. They explained everything thoroughly and gathered up all our items in a careful but quick manner. They didn’t complain one bit despite a lot of heavy items and stairs, and our final bill was less than estimated. This is probably the best moving experience I’ve ever had and we would use Two Men and a Truck in a heartbeat.
Sara Floyd: We’ve used Two Men and Truck a number of times over the last 20+ years. We’ve had excellent experiences with the company almost every time! However, today was THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! Kenny, Avery, and Dominic were the best crew we’ve had in all of our moves! They moved us out of our storage buildings and into our farmhouse in under 5 hours! It was like science! They were professional, courteous, very hard workers!! I would 10 out of 10 recommend this company and this crew for every move!!
angie o'leary: I used Two Men and a Truck for an interstate move and the experience was amazing. Kenny and Avery were professional, friendly, super helpful and timely. And because they are a smaller operation, I didn’t have to wait for their truck to be full before they would transport - everything arrived early the next morning! Items arrived intact, which is what everyone hopes for, but it was done in really efficient manner. I would definitely recommend their services both for moving and junk removal.
Jerry Geisler: From the first phone call to Bridgett to the last moment with the moving team, this was one of the best service experiences ever. Bridget is a professional that makes the caller trust her which is important in this uncertain (move) event. She asks the right questions and knows what to do with info. The move team was outstanding, Wyatt, James, and unfortunately I didn't get name of the 3rd party. They carefully wrapped and padded my belongings to prevent damage. They loadeded and unloaded my stuff in under two hours which seems impossible. They were polite, kind, knowledgeable, followed my suggestions for placement, and very hard workers. I would use Two Men again in a heartbeat! Thanks.

Jessie Abbey: I’ve never used a moving company before and I will never again thanks to them. First they show up in a little box truck to move a three bedroom house and shed they changed trucks after seeing what all needed done which was in the work order. Second they didn’t set anything up only two beds out of four. Third and most important they left half my house behind and refused to get saying it didn’t fit which was completely ridiculous and all they said was oh we forgot about that. Then wanted to charge me outrageous for what they did drink will never use again

Greg La Brune: Used them twice in a 3 month time frame. The first time was great. Our other movers Smooth Moves) showed up and said the job was too big and the two guys refused to work. Shannon helped us in a pinch in a big way. One guy reeked of alcohol and you could tell he was not pulling his weight like the others. It took 2 days instead of 1 and was spendy but we didn’t have a choice. Fast forward 3 months and we are moving again. They didn’t show up! Shannon failed to write down the move (he was riding in a car during our booking conversation). Left us in a huge rut and didn’t really seem to care. Two Men and a Truck saved the day and were excellent. I would not go with ABC moving.Service:Local moving

Elise Darrell: I called this company last minute after a different company quit 20 minutes before they were supposed to move me. Not only did ABC, graciously move me but they were kind, helpful, and just overall awesome to work with. Wish I’d called them in the first place. Highly recommend this company because of it hadn’t been for them I wouldn’t have been able to move in time.
Melisa McGuire: THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! I’m a realtor and they did not show up until after we were supposed to close, leaving my myself and my clients In a position where her deal may have fell apart being the buyers not wanting to close until all of the items were removed from the home. We had to move her out ourselves Along with other help “who she had to pay” and when the movers did go to unload and the owner called my client yelling at her and said that she had to pay them $300 in cash right then or they would not unload her personal property, Then refused to move items into the new house and had to get paid an extra $50 just to get them to move a refrigerator and washer and dryer inside. Unbelievable, and Unprofessional, Just GROSS!
Kathy Crossman: The owner was nice enough but that was the extent of the professionalism they started our time at 9:30am and did not show up to our storage unit until an hour later then bitched about how we had things packed, then drove 20 miles under the speed limit to our place to rake up more time and one of the guys kept being a weird creep around my four year old niece DO NOT USE THESE GUYS worst 600 dollars I have ever wasted. They charged me 6 hours for a job that should only have been 3 hours.

Mary Ramage: I had a wonderful experience with this company. I needed to move my daughter out of her 3rd floor apartment. The crew was friendly, polite and very fast. Nothing was damaged in the move. The older gentlemen referred to in other reviews was the individual responsible for the placement of items in the truck. With his experience in moving, he was able to have everything tied in the truck perfectly. I was thrilled that nothing moved in our 1/2 full rental truck! I would recommend this company to anyone moving in the Springfield area.
Lauren Sallee: Shannon and his team loaded up our apartment into a U-Haul. They finished before the minimum time and packed items into the U-Haul very organized and tight! The guys were super nice and got it done quick!

Jennifer Laney: DO NOT USE ABC Moving Company -- I am a Realtor, and my client had a horrific experience with them. One guy was older than Jesus, and the other absolutely REEKED of alcohol. 24 hours later, they are just finishing what Two Men & A Truck could have had done in 4 hours. Her refrigerator and freezer contents are RUINED because they were too tired yesterday to unload. Her jewelry box was overturned and spilled into the GRASS in the yard as the DROPPED her locked cedar chest and it popped open. DO NOT -- I REPEAT -- DO NOT LET a slightly lower fee make you compromise for GOOD SERVICE -- because these movers were a JOKE.
Ashley Johnson: It started out pretty well - they showed up on time, were respectful and organized. But then they took a 30 minute lunch and ran out of gas....in a run-down residential part of town. I thought they were going to grab a bite to eat on the way over, but they instead took a detour to one of the guy's houses and ran out of gas on the way back. This "mishap" (as they called it) set my already tight schedule back a few hours and the boss, Shannon, really didn't seem to understand my frustration when I called to complain. The movers were deeply embarrassed about their "mishap" but I was flabbergasted by everyone's complacency over the seriousness of the incompetence which had occurred. I would NOT recommend this moving company...to anyone....at all. Find someone else.
Fritzy Bandit: ABC Moving was a horrible experience. They sent two sixty year old men, one of which was hung over. They took smoke breaks every twenty to thirty minutes. They tried to charge for the time they were at lunch. They started screaming and yelling when we disputed the time they took for lunch. The hung over mover was only taking one small item at a time, such as a throw pillow. They damaged an antique chopping block, broke a bookcase to kindling, and scratched the hardwood floors dragging our furniture. We were suckered by their low quote, in the end the price was three times the quote. NEVER use this company.
Madison Moritz: I called and was in a bit of a pinch. They had no problem meeting and exceeding my moving needs. The movers didn't waste my time and went straight to work. They were careful with the furniture and were polite and courteous. I would highly recommend them. My moving project was small, 1.5 total time and only 2.5 miles between locations.

I was so happy to get them the next day on schedule for them to come out and help me unload my truck (moved from diff state) They showed up on time. And unloaded very nicely carefully my washer, dryer, and fridge. Thank you. The reason I'm giving only 4 stars cause they charge for extra hr to get back to there wearhouse. Which only should take time 15 minutes from my location. We'll max with traffic (11am no traffic) 25 minutes. Other then that yes I would recommend this company.

Susan Reaves: These good folks moved me out of my daughter’s 150 year old farmhouse she’d sold, and into The Cambridge senior Retirement apartments in Springfield.The fellows both negotiated some pretty tight turns and doorways with my nice furniture, some antiques and artist’s materials Into their truck. they painstakingly loaded my things then unloaded into the new Cambridge apartment... all in one day. This involved taking apart a large storage cabinet and bookcases bed frame (removing dozens of screws) then reassembling it in the new apartment.I was so pleased with these two very pleasant and efficient young men along with the lady by the name of Donna who handles the office, that I’m using the same company for my next move in a couple of weeks. I’ve found an “over 55” apartment retirement community managed by the Reed family here in Springfield that’s perfect for me at my age. I can’t think of anyone else I’d even consider handling my good furniture except for the My Movers company here in Springfield.

Lee Grant: Moving as a family is a big deal. It is stressful, complicated and physically draining so you need a good partner if you're hiring help. We have done several cross-country moves and local moves, and we have seen the good and bad. My Movers is organized and professional and cost effective. We recently finished our SECOND local move (six years apart) with My Movers and both have been outstanding. Foreman/driver Brad even remembered us from the previous move. The office communicated everything quickly and effectively. The estimate was accurate and the crew was on time and efficient. They were very careful with our furniture and we had zero issues. I gave my endorsement to a realtor friend and will continue referring people to My Movers. We don't plan to move again for a looooong time but if we did we'd call My MOvers first. Thanks again! It's Just Me: My Movers Moving & Storage are very professional folks. Dean & DW did my move on 10/28/2019 and these guys went above and beyond helping me with my move. They put down floor runners, used ramps on the steps, and wrapped all furniture with moving blankets. (Loved the big rubber straps they used too) When talking on the phone with My Movers Moving & Storage they were very nice and answered all my questions. Great company!

Tina Owen: Home Depot SHAME ON YOU! Professional installation was a LIE!!! You hired this hack company to deliver my appliances today, which the two sketchy boys REFUSED to even deliver! No phone call prior to showing up and when I asked why they didn’t call, the passenger said “I’m not doing this” and walked back to the truck. They had NO intention of delivering, installing or taking away our old appliances. I saved the video from the security cameras of the two guys that were sent and to show their failure to deliver. Called Home Depot to get a refund, since that’s who I paid directly for the over $1,300.00 in appliances that didn’t deliver. I was told I had to wait until Monday for them to try to get my refund from Bestway.
Mike Peters: Hired Bestway for a local home move. Mark came out and walked the house with me, Cindy called me the next day with a quote and was very flexible with schedule which worked out great! Cindy called to confirm the date and Nick called that morning to let me know he was on the way. Great communication throughout the process. Nick and one other guy showed up in a box truck and moved all our large items (beds, sofas, tables, chairs, mirrors, tv, etc) into the truck and then into our new home. Very reasonable price and 5 star service! I would use them again in a heartbeat! Not just local moving! Great folks!!

The team from Bestway who delivered my freezer from Home Depot was very professional and communicative and I could not be happier with their service. I've noticed a lot of the people who wrote negative reviews were unhappy because they Bestway didn't install the appliance they ordered from Home Depot. It seems like those people's issue is actually with Home Depot, not with Bestway.
Larry Senter Jr: Worst delivery company ever. We had a refrigerator & dishwasher delivered on a Friday around 3:30. 1st off they didn't deliver our water line for the ice maker we had ordered & when we continued to call the delivery cell # there was no answer & of course no return call or response from the text my wife had sent either. 2nd, the next day on Saturday I looked under the dishwasher to see what all was needed to install it & found a wire that was cut in half from I'm assuming their dolly. We contacted The Home Depot because no clue on how to get in touch with anybody at bestway & was told The Home Depot would cover the cost of installation so they can repair the wire while installing it. Fast forward to Wednesday after no receiving any call about it & was told I needed to call bestway. Called bestway & was told that since it had been past 48 hrs it wasn't their responsibility anymore & to contact The Home Depot. I was hung up on twice by the delivery manager after being told it wasn't their problem.
Holly: We had a refrigerator & dishwasher delivered from Home Depot. They didn't give us the water line so my husband and I called the number multiple times & I texted the cell asking for our water line ASAP. It was after 5 so no one answered either phone. We then had to call Home Depot and 2hrs later they gave us a water line - not the one we paid for. Later that night (AFTER calls & text) got an email receipt stating we had everything. The next day, my husband took a look at the dishwasher to find out what he needed to get it installed and he saw where one of the wires was cut in two. We immediately called Home Depot because it was the weekend & the moving company was closed. We thought we had it taken care of on Sat. On Tue we had to call best way & we were basically told that because we didn't contact them in 48hrs they wouldn't do anything, it wasn't their problem and it was on Home Depot hands. How can you contact someone who doesn't answer the phone? They also stated we had to call the number on the yellow card - which we didn't get. We definitely will not be having anything delivered from Home Depot again if they don't change the delivery company. You would think they would want someone to have a good reputation delivering their products

Wm Cottrell: Bought a Dryer from Home Depot. Set up a delivery date and time. Lady called the day before said it would be delivered between 2 pm and 6 pm. They finally delivered at 8:15 pm without calling me to tell me they would be late. The helper called me about 7:30 p.m. and told me according to their GPS they would be here in about 5 minutes. They got lost and I finally located them and guided them to my house for an 8:15 delivery that was supposed to be here about 3 hours earlier. I expected them to be delivering in a 20 to 24 foot box truck, they backed down my street for the delivery in a 35 foot box truck!! This company needs smaller truckers with more drivers. They think the bigger the truck, the less drivers they need to hire!!!!

They left a good size scratch in our hardwood, had someone out to take a look, and now 2 weeks later I can't get a response. I've called their office and was told the person who handles this is busy but they'll call me right back. That hasn't happened on 2 attempts. There is nothing about this company I would recommend.
Darrel Cook: I've been working for this company for 15 years. We are able to get All the overtime hrs we want as long as we show up to work hard from early morning till 630 am to midnight or when ever we get done with are delivery route or household move. The owner and bosses are pretty good peeps.
Brian Dinwiddie: They destroyed my home attempting to install a dishwasher. Massive water damage. Zero customer service. Never called us, never reached out to see if we were OK after they destroyed my house. My wife called twice requesting a call never got it. I’m going to do a review periodically through the process and give them a chance to earn some stars back. I’m certain one stars are in their future. If you buy anything at Home Depot just know these are the jokers they use. Get an independent contractor do it yourself.

I'm giving them 2 stars right now, I might change it to 1 star after I get this delivered! By the time they are done it might be no stars!

Breon Lauber: When we called to get a quote, we were very detailed about what was going to need to be moved. The person preparing the quote only wrote up about half of what we told them so they could give us a low quote. Once we accepted the quote and paid for 1/3 of the cost to hold the date of service, we were informed someone would come out two days before to confirm the items on the bid sheet. The 'new' price to move us ended up being 120% more than quoted. They refused to refund our monies because we weren't in the 5 day window. Their policy is to verify the quote two days before. They do this on purpose so you cannot get your money back. When my husband went to get a copy of the quote on the website and to print off the email with the new quote she sent him, it was all recalled and deleted from their system. This company is a fraud!!! Do Not USE!!! They refuse to refund our deposit and we can't dispute the charge because they have deleted all the evidence of their fraud.
