That Lebanese Place: what do users think?
Brenden Poor: Ellie, the owner was unbelievably courteous and kind. If I lived in Springfield I'd come every day. My wife didn't particularly like a specific taste, and he remade a whole plate just for her. And he let me keep her extra plate! What a courteous fellow.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options.Parking: Limited parking if area is busy, but I had no problem fi ding parking.
Marvin Rhoden: Delicious food I'm a nice atmosphere, and the Chef / owner couldn't be nicer, awesome customer service
Hassan Zafar: Lebanese salad was amazing! Totally recommend it.
Brad Moore: We were in Springfield yesterday looking for a place to eat with good vegetarian/vegan options. We stumbled on this place and it was amazing. My partner and another friend had the beef/lamb shawarma and I had the falafel mushakal (falafel sandwich with baba ghanouj, fries, and veggies). The food was excellent and so was the price. Our server was charming and funny. The owner also came out to talk with us as we were finishing our meal. I can't wait to go back again.Vegetarian options: Several excellent vegetarian or vegan options that don't feel like an afterthought.
Joshua Berzins: That Lebanese Place has some of the best food in Springfield.
Amy Jernigan: Ate it all before I could take a photo but the Falafel and the Chicken Shwarma are absolutely delicious. My husband and I come here often and love it!The service can be a tad slow at times but the food is ALWAYS worth it.
Trey Trapani: Best food in a 500 mile radiusFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Vickie Moore: Recommended dishes Kebab, Chicken ShawarmaMore
Juicy Beans: Always very busy but the family that runs it works very hard to tend to everyone timely. I have never been disappointed with the food here!
Joshua Watkins: Very friendly staff, and the food is fantastic!!
Larisa Proctor: We have returned twice now and plan to make it our frequent place to eat. The family owners work very hard all night to keep up with customers, the food is plentiful and very tasty. Nice flavor difference from all 'regular' Springfield restaurants.
Delaney Adler: Best food in Springfield with the most welcoming environment. The family that runs this establishment creates incredible food and provides incredible service. The Dinner for 2 is a must!
Robertha Agimudie Paul: Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The first thing I noticed was how dusty the dining room was. This place hasn't had a deep cleaning, dusting etc in a while. Even though the decor is older they can have the establishment looking cleaner. When I walked in I went to the booth to sit and the server said if there isn't a menu on the table then it needs cleaning. There was only ONE table clean.I love Arabic food and based on past places I've eaten I would rate the flavors here a 3.I had the platter for two which started with a pita bread and baba ganoush. The pita bread was served COLD and the server literally just pulled it out of a bag that was sitting at his counter. This was the pita you buy in the bread aisle at Wal-Mart. I had to ask him to warm it up and he told me he will microwave it.The babaganoush was also ice cold which tells me it came straight out the refrigerator.Next came the lentil soup. Very lightly flavored and watery but at least it was served warm although I would have preferred hot.We then received the falafel, stuffed grape leaves and tahini sauce. The falafel was nice and hot and crispy. The grape leaves he MICROWAVED and brought to us as I heard the ding of the microwave at the counter where my pita was warmed up and he walked over with the plate at the same time. The tahini sauce was watery thin and very lightly flavored for my taste.Up next was the entree which consisted of one plate of food for two to share.Rice, coleslaw, chopped tomatoes, chicken sharwma, beef, lamb and chicken kabob. The rice was " rice ", no flavor. The kabobs 3/5 flavor wise.We ended with coffee and baklava. The coffee had a lot of sediment at the bottom of the cup like thick molasses. The baklava was HARD AF! Barely any syrup to make it soft and edible. It was so hard my fork couldn't cut it, I had to pick it up and eat it like a cookie.Being that the food was OBVIOUSLY NOT FRESHLY MADE and most things were microwaved, God alone knows how many days or weeks these items have been sitting in the refrigerator. If I do return the two items I would order again would be the falafel and the lamb kabob.Parking: Street parking and you may not be able to find a spot.
Dallas Waterman (Slaughterman): This place SLAPS. Everything we had was authentic, fresh, and reasonably priced. It’s rare you get such a high quality meal from a family owned joint like this. The owner knew EXACTLY what wines paid with what meals. Rather if you want a quick cheapish lunch or an extravagant dinner, these guys got you.
Ryan Sandhouse: Lovely service, felt like home, good was amazingFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Beef Shawarma, Split Lentil Soup …More

Alicia Korenini: This place is a gem, and not just for Springfield. Truly authentic food and the friendliest owner and staff. The atmosphere is great, and the food is divine. We ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich, and the sampler with hummus, baba ganoush, sweet potatoes and falafel. We couldn’t stop eating even though we were full. We also ordered a chai tea and will be back tomorrow afternoon to order another before we leave town. Thank you for a delicious meal!!
Vanessa Valli: The best place to eat in Springfield, MO! We love Mediterranean food and this did not disappoint. The steak meat is the most tender we’ve ever had. It’s a cool stop, the way the seating is set up. Family owned and operated, very personable. Best experience possible.
Mary Williams: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Numan Rauf: I Ordered chicken Sharma and beef kabab platter. I am veryDisappointed and just wasting money on it Sharma has no chicken in it and the platter kabab to small in size or cold I hate it and never want to see it again?Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More

Riad: what do users think?
Daniel Larsson: Got to respect being able to manage to hold on to a movie theater business through a pandemic. Sometimes the food orders get messed up, and sometimes you watch Morbius. But that's not their fault.
Jake Martin: First time visiting, clearly having issues with staffing and seems to have overall dropped the quality of "appearance" from how I've seen it previously (but never ate there before) BUT the food remains great, and the available staff are doing their best.
Queen City Crystal: Dine in: YesMore
Shawn Moore: Great food and great service. The live music on Friday night was a nice addition.
Josh Sekunda: THE BEST GYROS IN TOWN!!!
Greg Dixon: Rarely do I take the time to give a bad review, but the manager tonight is as competent as a submarine with doors. Our order was missing items and some of our food was burnt to a point it was inedible. We called and informed "management" and instead of being helpful or empathetic to the situation, he had the audacity to argue with us. A single shoe would have a better personality and competency as this dude. Horrible customer service.
Aimee Czechowski: I'm so thankful they were able to accommodate us when other places were full. I had the KC BBQ burger, and it was amazing!!
Lily LeeAnn: Absolutely smashed the chicken Alfredo and sweet potato fries definitely coming back
Lori Fegley: Never got my food that I ordered online because they were closed when I got there
Corey Allen: Nice atmosphere, bartender is personable and efficient. Had a delocious Gyro with fries. Def going to eat and drink here again.Just ate here again, still delicious!!
Jessica Rankin: Ordered from the Mr Beast app. The food was ready on time, but I walked into an empty restaurant with a girl standing behind the bar. She was on speaker phone with a man who was either doing math homework or adding up tips. Regardless she sits my order on the bar and barely look at me. I asked her if everything was there. She shoots me an annoyed look. I left and my order isn't right at all. What a terrible first experience. Will be my last. If you're looking for a dirty place with horrible costumer service, run, don't walk to Riad. Posting pics of the 3 burgers I ordered and the 3 burgers I received.
Francesca Rossi: Consistently delicious gyros and yet another excellent experience! I accidentally left my purse there last night and the owner came in outside of their hours of operation to make sure that it was returned to me this morning. You can't beat that level of customer service! I will definitely be returning soon!
Mason Bybee: Ordered the Mr Beast burgers that is ran out of their kitchen, had an onion allergy, completely ignored it. Everywhere I looked said crinkle cut fries, even on the receipt we got with the order, it was horribly cooked restaurant fries that were soggy and not crisp at all. Called to see why the mix-up happened. Person I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude offered no solutions or help. Terrible restaurant hopefully they cook their own food better but by the other reviews I have seen that's probably far from the case.Edit to owner's response: No you sent the text after I made this review, and that's why I'm going to keep this review. You want people to think you care when in reality you don't, that was beyond evident from our phone call. I'm not going to drive back out to get food that I didn't even order in the first place. If you don't plan on making food as the business that you're leasing your kitchen for intended then don't take the offer.
Eddie Jones: Good food at a decent price. And the staff was very helpful! They also have the best hummus I've ever had.
D D: Excellent Mediterranean food. Dishes full of flavor. Quick and good service
Jessica: Dine in: No Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes Delivery: YesMore
Slim's Ghost: Really good food.
John Marshall: If you're in Springfield, MO and looking for a good Mediterranean place stop by Riads. The Arabic Special gets you gyros, falafel, and dolmades. You can order ahead and carry out or dine in.Dine in: Yes …More
José Rojas: This review just goes for delivery purposes. The food is great, but there’s been way too many times I waste drives to the restaurant or have had to wait 20-45min in the past. Just walked in and my order wasn’t even started since 3 tables came in at the same time is what I was told. I don’t get how orders aren’t made when they’ve clearly been sent thru way before people come in. Unless I’m wrong on that I’ve still had too many bad experiences on the delivery side when you no one knows I’m there for a $5 order for me getting paid and from waiting to then driving is so under minimum wage to be going thru this multiple times.
Nicole Lyn: Came to see the Arthur Duncan Jazz Trio!!! The Music, Food, and Drinks were Absolutely Outstanding!!!! 💯 Try the Greek platter and the Green Pineapple drink! Good selection of beers too!!! Relaxing 😌 Yes, I meant the Arabic platter!!! The drinks 🍸 were awesome...lol
Robert Gill: Have eaten here a few times, always get the Gryo. Going to try kebabs next time, here is a gyro meal with baklava. Meat is very good quality, baklava very well made. I've eaten alot I'd know. 🤣
