Springfield Art Museum: what do users think?
Tishia Turbyfill: Don't forget about this gem in town! Everybody drives past it daily, but remember to stop in. It's kid friendly, fully wheelchair accessible, and educational to boot. What's not to love? If you have small children, go too! They have a children's area and they allow you to close the doors to keep the children in that area and you're free to sit down and relax while the toddlers/babies play and explore their surroundings.

Faith Sawyer-Tindle: I had a wonderful time there. The only problem was the closing time, too short a day.3 fascinating painters, the best of the whole school district, grade 1 through 12. I was so impressed and inspired by their work. You have some talented students and really good Art Teachers in Springfield, Mo! Then I found the pottery exhibit, Wow! It blew my socks off.I definitely recommend a visit there soon.

Art Magana: Excellent venue for young creative energy
Trevor Robert: I love the ideaXfactory. Always something interesting and active to view. X
Jaxson Infinitus: Unlike what you’d find in most towns, very unique art with a walkthrough exhibit. Was a work in progress as I visited, but was already amazing compared to the bland nothingness you’ll find in most rural towns.
Isaac McManus: Very cool exhibits and artists constantly on display.
Heather Leverich: Conservatory of the Ozarks students enjoy performing at the Idea X Factory. It is a fun venue to have in our community.
Rolan Logan: Great place to relax, learn and grow. Meet Pam and Russ RuBert.

Renee Kaiser: The bass pro is really a whole experience,my wife and three daughters loved the experience and the NRA museum was a good Little break for me. Lots of little bits of info all over the place, and a decent display of firearms.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Price for adult entry Free …More
adom west: Fantastic display of unique firearms that made important historical changes and steps in the development in modern firearms.
bdriving1: Heck of a visit, heck of a display of 1%-er guns!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More
Catherine Wright: So cool would recommend to go see it!!
Chris Bloomfield: Cool gun museum in a store, but the gentleman "guarding" the displays was worst person to have in a museum. Very unengaging and seemed irritated to answer any sort of questions. You would think he would want to chat, since he just stands there all day.
Chris Karcher: Pictures would not do justice to the craftsmanship and beauty of the weapons on display. Any person who even “likes” to shoot owes themselves a trip to this free museum inside a MASSIVE Bass Pro Shop. The history and evolution of firearms from the revolutionary war to modern sporting arms are represented. Needless to say, I was a fan!
R Taylor: The museum contains a stunning array of firearms. Do NOT be in a hurry when you enter. We read about Marshal Bass Reeves and then when traveling over the next several weeks we continued to come across references to him. Quite an exhibit on Theodore Roosevelt, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend visiting.
Kevin Talley: Impressive display of guns firearms throughout history.
Jerry Theisen: Very impressive.

Matthew Humphrey: If you like guns you will love walking through this museum. Makes me wish I was a billionaire so I could have a gun collection this big. lol
Lisa Christie: So cool lots to see.
Jeremey Nims: Lot of firearms and history. Very well maintained.
Joe Payne: So many historical guns...plus, it's in the Bass Pro Shop. It's free and took about 1.5 hours to scope everything out. Must see if you're into historical firearms. There is also a large archery Hall of Fame at the end of the firearms display.
John Sullivan: Superb! the collection is first class. The TR room is a good addition.
William Higgins: Great firearms displays with lots of history. Did I mention...it's free. At Bass Pro in Springfield MO.

Hyde Gallery: what do users think?
Nathaniel C. Polley: I think there are places in Springfield that offer a moment of self-reflection, corporately, for the community.Springfield reflecting on its place in southwest Missouri, in it's landscape, and in it's own ethos, and Hyde Gallery shows artists that do that. The Gallery consists of local art, by and large, and visitors are welcome. The pieces are beautiful and the atmosphere is warm.Enjoy yourself stopping by for a moment in your year, if only to see how other people see and experience SW MO in their art.
Studio 181: Hardly ever open
