Gene Taylor Outpatient Clinic VA: what do users think?
barry r (winnemucca): I transferred from Australia to Az, then on to Sprfld, Mo. Gorgious facility, The staff, were courtious, efficient, the man who helped me input all that info was a champion, I was taken care of twice in this manner, walk in, straight up, into the system and appointments made.....3 months wait. Thank you VA good work.
Ron B: Because of moving away and eventually coming back, I have been assigned to two teams. Both teams are great! Every staff member on both teams has been very polite and helpful. I also see other departments and the only problem I have ever had was at the optometry desk. The main guy there is rude almost every time. But besides that guy, everyone else is great and the place is always clean.
Chris Dowdle: Someone I really care about has needed help for a really long time and has basically been put on the back burner. I get understaffed but you do NOT diagnose someone with several serious mental health issues and schedule the prescription/ therapy almost six months out. Shame on you! This is a serious lack of planning. Not to mention the doctor he saw spoke of nothing but hating her job and wanting to not work there anymore. I truly wish this country cared for our Vets. They deserve SO much better.
James Brown: ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT ❤️! BEST VA CLINIC HANDS DOWN!
Larry Kinkade: They do a very good job of taking care of people
makenna orwig: Went to the VA today with my father and overheard two male workers talking badly about him. Which violates HIPAA. These men also refused to go get the doctor so my father could talk to him again. It is sickening knowing that this place is supposed to help veterans but really the workers refuse a simple task and then talk badly about someone in front of family and other people. Very unprofessional.
robert border: They forgot to notify me about a heart condition aneurysm/ bicuspid aortic valve that required open heart surgery. It wasn’t until I contacted them for immunization records months after my test they told me to see cardiologist. I was in a fire fighting program and could have died. My PCP doesn’t even look at me or listen to me when talk to him. He blows off everything I tell him. I get referred to the ER every-time I call about an issue because it seems like they don’t actually want to treat me. I got approved for medicaid and seen my new mercy PCP yesterday and they handled everything in the first visit I’ve brought up to the VA clinic for 2 years. To include the VA doctor ignoring my mental health concern I brought up to him. I just found out I can request to switch VA PCP, once my next labs are done thats exactly what I’m doing. Hopefully another team will be better.I will say though that the eye clinic and dentist there were great. My issue has solely been with my PCP.
Tom: Terrible, I am a service connected 100% percent for PTSD and tinnitus, and can't get appointments because there overbooked and understaffed. On top of that, even when I get an appointment, the staff is late and unprepared. I will be filling a complaint with the white house hotline and I will not stop until I get the help I deserve.
William Misemer: There in no way Mt.Vernon, polite. There are very snobby you ask a question,., I don't no or that's not my department and walk out they plainly told me THIS IS NOT MT.VERNONOR or THE LIKE ,and it is not,I don't like going there at all but I have no choice , a very poor choice of Doctor, the nurses seames to be Allright
Avery Finley: I would give 0 stars and would not recommend the VA. I’ve been dealing with pain since 2018 and they still cannot prescribe anything that will help me. When scheduling an appointment they are booked out over a month.
GR Bryson: Good manners, helpful and professional.
Jared Harnar: Top notch. Great people and superb service!Thank you Springfield VA! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Matilda D’Hum xoxo: I used to like the two hour drive to Mount Vernon V.A. I love the older hospital building and the koi out front. My physician Dr Emertton was very attentive to his patients. My optometrist, dr Palasic was super quick but very precise.I hate that this va closed. I miss the little town of Mt Vernon, especially the apple butter festivals.
Eileen Atherton: Outstanding facility and staff! They say, "If you've seen one VA Clinic, you've seen One VA Clinic. I've seen quite a few and this one is tops. Excellent response time-- 1 Day. The building is modern and the grounds have a walking trail. If you can get here for services you will be well taken care of!
Michael Harris-Purdy: Great treatment at the eye clinic.
Ben clay: Mental health center is a joke instead of calling me and asking why I take certain meds do your dam job and look at my medical history. Here's a novel idea let me see the same dam Doctor.
Daniel Savinske: I am quite surprised at the negative comments. My experience with my Team, eye clinic, dental clinic, and lab have all been excellent. The facility is fresh and clean and a real blessing to have in Springfield. It amazes me how some folks are never happy about anything. Keep up the good work and remember folks they are having to deal with Covid19 and their hands are tied right now.
Frankie Baker: As a Veteran that recently transferred to the Springfield Mo.VA from another VA care facility, I am so VERY impressed and ecstaticto find a VA care facility that treats its Veterans with such respect and with such genuine caring. EVERYONE from security, to the doctors, nurses and administrative agents at this facility seems to take a genuine interest in the Veterans that they serve. I am humbled by their attitude and their dedication to serve. MOST times I am in and out before my origional appointment time has even came and went. The last VA facility that I received care from seemed to just not even care how long you waited and it seemed the doctors really didn't care about providing a "personal" service to the Veterans. They made you feel like that you were just a burden to them. At the Springfield VA the doctors go out of their way to even make referrals if necessary and set up appointments for you to address your medical issues if you have to go "out of network" and use "Veteran Choice". Anywhere else I have been it was all left to me to do the "leg work" concerning my medical care. I have received better care and felt more "heard" by my doctor at the Springfield Mo. VA facility than ANY other VA facility that I have been to. I CANNOT express enough my appreciation and my gratitude to EACH AND EVERY individual that works at this facility. I THANK YOU one and all for what you do and how you GENUINELY seem to care for the Veterans that you serve.
Chief Pvfpd: Web site says close at 430, yet they close at 4
Jonathan Stout: The staff are always helpful.Whatever the client that i go to they are always quick to get you in
Chris Hawkins: The staff at gene taylor are worst type of people of I've dealt with in the VA. The sad part is that most of them are veterans that treat other veterans, who are seeking help, horrible. I wish they would clean house and hire people who care and want to be there.

CoxHealth Ferrell-Duncan Clinic: what do users think?
gina james: I will NEVER go there again!!
Stephanie Dixon: I love my doctor and wish she was in any other Cox clinic/building but this one. She is the only reason why I keep going back and putting up with all the hassle at this location.Everyone of my prescription renewal requests are declined first and then resent to my pharmacy two or three days after the initial request since they moved to FD. When I questioned this, I was told this is just how the system works. I really doubt the truthfulness of this since my husband's doctor's office (in a different clinic) doesn't do that. It should all be the same system. It's hard to get anyone from the front desk on the line to ask a question and I don't have a direct line back to the nurse when I have only a simple question. I prefer talking in person, but at this rate the electronic messaging system is the fastest and easiest way to get ahold of my doctor. In addition, a portion of the staff are grumpy, rude, and just short when you try to talk with them.
Aziz B.: Had phone appointment scheduled a month ahead and was told will get a call on appointment day and time. Nothing 7 minutes past appointment. I call the clinic and lady says whoever supposed to meet me is in the surgery. I took my time off from work and they just casually telling me whoever was supposed to conduct my appointment is not available.I get it things get busy, but you have to have procedure of check-in of phone call appointments so that front desk can call and notify that appointment is expected to be late with new estimate or option to reschedule. The complaint is not even for missing appointment or being late. It is for lack of front desk engagement with patient during those situations. I think, this clinic is seriously lacking on phone appointment procedures.Besides challenges of phone appointments, Doctor and Staff were great. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.
Mary Ann Tillman: They never have the lab orders for blood work when we drive all the way to Monett. This happenens consistently with us and many people we have talked to.
The Preacher Man Salgado (The Preacher Man): Dr. Hroneck & the allergy clinic is efficient and helpful. Love this place. They recently have it down to a science.
John Ehly: I literally owe my life to Dr. Godwin and Dr. Dominguez. I can't say enough good things about FD clinic and all the staff. Thank you.
Andrew Post: Dr. William Moore and his staff are the best. Very professional. Prompt replies to portal messages.
Kimberly Ogden: I have not even made it as far as visiting the office. I was referred through the hospital and after leaving 3 messages with the "answering service" and being told that they are very busy, I finally got a call to schedule an appt 1 1/2 weeks later. But I missed the call. So I called back and asked to speak to the person that left the message but instead of being able to talk to them and schedule, I was cycled to the "answering service" and told that I could only leave a message. If I was in serious condition, I would be dead before I even got on the schedule. Don't go to this place. They treat you like a number!
Sumer Fletcher: My experience at the actual clinic has been good but I had surgery last week and now have an infection and literally can not reach a human being at this clinic for an antibiotics script. My dad went up there in person to ask them if they would call me and the lady essentially told him to screw off. Why is there not a single person in the entire clinic who can answer phone calls.
Christopher Blackwell: After paying $1020 for a procedure here, I received a billing statement saying that I got a cash patient discount.I spoke to three billing employees (Whitney, Dee, and Monica) in the last week who told me I’ll be receiving a refund of $531.42. None of them were able to tell me exactly when I would receive the refund, but that it would probably be 14-21 days.Today, an employee from accounting (Carla) called me and told me that the cash discount was an error in their end and that I won’t be entitled to a refund. I am now waiting for a call from that person’s supervisor as I was once again told that she didn’t have the authority to change this. I’ve been getting the run around for a solid week and each time I’m told that I’ll be sent to someone who can fix this I am sent to yet another person who apparently cannot fix this.
Jack Wernet: After surgery I had occasion to call the clinic on the weekend due to some concerns. Dr. Thomas Pearson was on call. The worst experience with a doctor I have had in 76 years. He was unprofessional, gruff and apparently mad and put out that he had to be on call. Overall just a jerk. Never showed any concern about my well being and obviously was more concerned about being interrupted than listening to my concerns and offering some doctor patient advice. Thankful that Dr. David Anderson is my urologist.
Paul Ullom: Always a pleasure to be treated here. The doctors and staff are awesome, thank you team!
Sue Allman: Wow Ferrell-Duncan I have had to cancel and reschedule an appointment for my mother and because we have missed several calls to remind us. We were treated rather brash on the last phone call. So this is the reason we didn't answer the phone calls, My father died which is my moms husband and we were handling the funeral home and burial affairs. Please be a little nicer on how you treat patients because there may be certain circumstances beyond their control.
Billi Walford: Explain to your employee Jan Young that harrassing people online will get her blasted online and publically since she wants to ensure your business name is thrown in her tantrum.
River Wren: Routine check up ! Clean facility ! Friendly staff !Outstanding patient treatment!
Josh Courtney: Staff was nice but quite short with me for no reason. So 2 stars from me
Katlyn Wallace: Lillian Bizzocchi ,rheumatologist at Ferrell Duncan in Springfield, litterly saved my life.. Not just health wise but mentally. After 6 months of being sick and being told they don't know what's wrong with me, she went over my case and called me. After talking with her and meeting with her my life changed. I have a rare autoimmune disease . I am feeling so much better and much happier. She listens, she cares about her patients and goes out of her way to help you. I feel so blessed to have her as my doctor. Everyone in this rheumatology department has been awsome. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you.K. Wallace
Shelly Woods: Very friendly and quick service
Grant Beasley: Staff at the allergy clinic are pleasant but business model is very rigid and not patient friendly. A real “take it or leave it” feeling.
Gajen Jan: This is a beautiful CoxHealth facility. Super nice and clean inside the building as well. Variety of medical services are available here.
stephanie grace: So impressed with the staff and Dr. Kristen Killen! It was my first time at Ferrell-Duncan Clinic & with Dr. Killen and my experience was fantastic! My appointment was at 2:15, I came in at 1:30 and was out the door and finished with my appointment before it was even supposed to start! (left at 2:10) Receptionists were helpful. Dr. Killen was personable, kind and attentive. She made me feel so comfortable as a new patient and I would definitely recommend her!
