Essential Yoga Studio: what do users think?
Carolyn Jacob: This is my favorite Yoga Studio in Springfield and has been for 6 years! There's just something magical about the place. There's no mirrors, so there's an emphasis on really feeling how the alignment and poses feel good for you. The teachers are all incredible and the classes are full of a variety of all kinds of people, across all kinds of ages and all different levels of fitness. I've been to many studios but I'll always end up coming back to this one!
Nicole Edwards: I love this place! I’t doesn’t matter what age, level of fitness or physical flexibility you have there is a class that is right for you. I especially enjoy doing the online classes when I don’t feel like getting out of the house. There are plenty of classes that work well with my schedule. Jess and Miranda are such a delight! All of the teachers make me feel welcomed anytime I attend a class.
Melissa Stone: Positive:Professionalism,QualityGreat place to receive your weekly dose of yoga. Staff is experienced, talented and professional. I feel so relaxed and welcome there.
Tj Hunt: Positive:Professionalism,QualityThe only place I’ll practice yoga in Springfield. Great atmosphere! Great experience every time!
Amanda Mast: Great meditation class with Rhett Roberson and a sweet group of ladies. Looking forward to many more.
C S: Not what I expected. I was expecting hot yoga. The practice overall was not bad. I prefer mirrors and a little more intensity. I felt bored and disappointed.
Sarah Coddington: Great experience with Messages by Megan!
janet luck: My experience with these souls has been such a profound blessing. I have missed them for a couple months but feel their light lifting me each and every day.
Mandalay Motel: I have called multiple times with no answer and I leave a voice message each time but Teri never calls back.So I drove up just to find the studio unoccupied and there were other people there waiting to go to the meeting. I (along with other people) were very disappointed.
Melisa Creemer: The best yoga studio ever! I am totally hooked!
Tiffany McAlister: This is a legit yoga studio.. I have been so disappointed in yoga over the last cpl years with terrible, blah instructors. I've been to 5 classes here and every one has been very thorough in instruction and helping find yourself in practice. I feel much more connected to my body and mind!
Brittney Pickering: I've been doing yoga for many years and after attending classes several different places in Springfield, I can confidently say that Essential Yoga is truly unique and well-rounded in their offerings. I left my first class with Shari feeling completely revitalized. Her flow energized my body, while the studio, music, and tone resonated with me on a much deeper level, leaving a long-standing impression. The mind-body connection was exactly what I was looking for. Even Shari's voice is soothing! Her experience is apparent in class, and it helps the focus to remain on turning within. I've also taken classes with Rod and Emery, both of which I would HIGHLY recommend. Rod's understanding of the mind, body and spirit really helps one to achieve the greatest benefits yoga has to offer. My experience at Essential Yoga, along with the wonderful connections I've made, has truly inspired me to deepen my practice and dedication to yoga as a way of life. A big "thanks" to all at Essential!
Troy Harris: Great environment and excellent instructors.

Power practice or restorative, there is something for every level. Kind people who really care. A place to reboot. It is the embodiment of all limbs of yoga. Try it and you will keep coming back.

Sumits Yoga: what do users think?
Jennifer Green: Consistent, Kind, Compassionate. I love Sumits and would recommend it to anyone ready to invest in the self and be a member of a great community of humans.
Erin K: The OG hot yoga place in Springfield. Still the best. The instructors are great.
Jamie: I just want to give a HUGE Thank you Sumit's Yoga for changing my life! I began a yoga journey looking to try something just for 'me' as I am the fearless leader of a wonderful family of 5, to help find an outlet for the stress and anxiety that everyday life in today's wicked world seemed to pile on top of me to the point I couldn't get out from underneath it. With really no expectation of myself or the facility just because I wasn't quite sure what to expect I left my 1st class thinking 'I think I found something that is going to help my mind feel better' and I cannot describe how bad I've wanted that feeling for so long. I have been going faithfully for only a month or so now and my family and everyone around me has noticed something has changed for the better... and I feel like there is finally hope that I'm not just going to survive this world, I am going to thrive in it! I know that's deep for a review, but the spiritual connection as well as just feeling better about myself has changed my life and I want everyone to have that!!! Thank you to ALL the amazing leaders at Sumit for everything you do and your amazing attitudes!! -Jamie Robertson
Will Cox: I've promised my wife I'd go to yoga with her for years and finally went. I was less than enthusiastic going into it. Halfway through I changed my mind! It was a great atmosphere and Stephanie was a great teacher who modified some stretches b/c of my lack of flexibility! I hope to attend regularly!
Loren: I've been to a handful of studios around town and Sumits has been my favorite. I love the atmosphere, the instructors, the classes, and the facility itself.
Mia Vincent: I don’t have much experience with yoga at ALL. I’ve been to a few community classes and had a great time, but I decided to try out the Fusion class with Reggie. He was SO fun and literally made the experience 10x more enjoyable for me, as I’m not flexible or super experienced. He has such good vibes and great music. I felt like I could be myself and try new things!
David Kay: Been coming here since the day they opened. Still as good as the first day! 💜
Amber Dunsmuir: Welcoming studio with caring and talented staff.
cj: The Greatest Place on Earth.❤
Camron Dykes: Everything about Sumits is welcoming and empowering! I always leave feeling stronger, mentally and physically. All of the instructors are wonderful, kind, supportive, and encouraging! If you haven't been, you definitely need to try it. They have also taken a lot of wonderful steps to ensure the health and safety of all of their yogis during this pandemic! It's reassuring to know that they care so much about the health of their community!
Half-Pint Adventures: Sumits Hot Yoga is an absolutely five star experience. The atmosphere is peaceful and accepting. The staff are professional and compassionate. Sumits makes our community a better place.
Juah McManomy: The best consistent, friendly staff and instructors and always hot classes! My favorite hot yoga studio in town and every class is always fantastic.
christina turner: Great instructors. It is a beautiful service to the community that Sumit Yoga in Springfield provides the Sumit sequence express version community classes for under 10 dollars, 2 days per week. Thank you 💗
Jessica Goodrich: The classes are great, the facility is nice, and the teachers are wonderful.
Alayna: My experience with yoga is slim to none, so I am as beginner as beginner gets, but the atmosphere and instructors at Sumits are outstanding. It is clear they are very in tune to what each person in each class session needs and their level of practice. I know a lot of people don’t try a new gym or yoga studio because change is scary and sometimes intimidating, but if you are even considering practicing yoga I highly suggest Sumits (especially for those just beginning, since that’s what I can relate to most).
Bethanie Funderburk: I’ve moved away from Sumits and realize just how incredible this studio is. Since beginning a job that consists of traveling, I’ve gone to numerous new yoga studios (all over OR, WA, AK, MT, etc.) and none have come close to providing the happiness that Sumits in Springfield provides. Not only is Sumits the best physical and mental work out, but the staff make you feel like family and Are so welcoming. It’s a non judgmental zone where you can lose your stress and get a top notch workout in while having fun. If you are in Springfield and love hot yoga, you must go here as it beats out, in my opinion, all studios in not only Springfield, but all over the states! You guys are the best. Xoxo.
Joseph Scott: Amazing atmosphere, amazing instructors, amazing students!
Jevon Homitzky: Best yoga in town!
Josh Doak: My wife and I visited this studio during weekend getaway. Had a great experience and loved the studio space instructor (Cathy). If you like hot yoga, this is the place to go.
Cindy Terrill: The best place EVER! It has been life changing!
Tanna Baker-Hoggatt: I love Sumits! It's the best place for hot yoga in Springfield. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a place to de-stress and also get a great workout, Sumits is for you!

SWET HOT YOGA AND FITNESS: what do users think?
Heather Harrison: This has become my favorite place to go to in Springfield! The staff is so welcoming and friendly. There is a wide variety of classes, times, and teachers for flexibility and I have yet to go to a class that I didn’t absolutely love. I’m not someone who has ever liked working out, but I look forward to it every day now. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Kameron McKenzie: Brittanie did an amazing job guiding me through this tough workout! I asked for a challenging workout and that’s exactly what I got, plus a huge puddle of sweat. Highly recommend taking her classes!
Kathleen Carney: I love SWET HOT YOGA AND FITNESS! It is super clean and EVERYONE is super friendly and the classes are AWESOME!
Alison Frazier: This workshop was nothing short of amazing! It made me appreciate what our body’s can do as humans. Along with a new perspective.
Aubrey Shepard: I wish classes were much cheaper, because I would go more often. Instead, it’s been my once or twice a year winter tradition for 3 years. I was a little nervous about trying yoga because I’m a very strong Christian, and yoga tends to be a controversial topic. However, I’ve never once felt pressured to do something I can’t (physically or spiritually) do. It’s even been verbally expressed in classes that it’s okay to not do things you’re uncomfortable with. I appreciate that. The locker room is great. It feels very welcoming. You don’t feel like you’re going to the gym. The cold towels are always a happy surprise because I forget about them every time. I always feel wonderful after a hot yoga session.
Pamela Gertz: Hot Power is exhilarating and exhausting! I feel empowered to start my day.
Lena Snowden: Love the Hot Flows, Slow Flows, Restore and my very favorite the Warm or Hot Buti Class!! It empowers my body, mind and soul!!
Becca McKee-Bucy: Every instructor has been knowledgeable and welcoming. The experience is perfection; from walking in the door and being greeted by name, to the cleanliness, and the touches of comfort throughout the locker room.
Trish Langford: Great teacher. Very nice studio
D T: I’ve gone to S.W.E.T. for 3 years now and I love it! It’s calms me restores me and invigorates me. I can not say enough good things about the instructors and the people who run it day to day! Always accommodating
Kendra L: Update: Since the studio felt it pertinent to advertise my finances and my ledger with them and blatantly lie about what happened, which is pretty much the most unprofessional thing ever, I'd like to respond to the owner, or whomever wrote the reply to my review.First, the card would not authorize, because I closed the account over a month ago. Thanks for making that public knowledge. How professional.Second, you were made aware of my injuries back in August, and a second time the last time I attended class on 9/16, so please don't lie.Third, you only addressed my emails and sent me screen shots of the refund AFTER I posted this Google review, SEVERAL HOURS after, in fact. Prior to my posting the review, you would not return my phone calls or emails. Again, there is no need to lie. You could have simply addressed the problem when it was presented to you instead of lying to cover up your refusal to address the situation. Finally, I am appalled at the lack of professionalism you have shown here by detailing my account on a public forum and blatantly lying about what happened. How embarrassing for your business. I can assure you, you have lost my business.Original review:It honestly pains me to give this studio a bad review, because I absolutely loved the classes and instructors. However, I feel I have no choice but to put this out there so others don't have the same issue as I do.I am injured, a fact of which the studio was made aware. I have not been able to attend class for approximately a month, and had surgery 3 days ago. The studio knew about all this. They agreed to either cancel or freeze my membership until I have recovered. I opted to cancel as I am not exactly sure when I can come back. The studio sent me confirmation of the cancellation via email approximately two weeks ago. So, imagine my surprise when I was billed for membership on October 5th, two weeks after cancelling and receiving confirmation of the same. I subsequently emailed the studio, twice, and received no reply. Therefore, I was forced to file a dispute charge with my bank this morning, and deal with the hassle of all that plus obtaining a new debit card, and redoing all of my finances while bedridden and trying to recover from surgery. This is all in extremely poor taste, as I paid for over 3 months of membership I did not use as a result of my injury, and never made an issue of it. I have come to expect more from SWET, and am very disappointed that they choose to do business this way. There are plenty of other yoga studios in the city, and they would do well to remember that. I would stay far away from this studio if you value your money.
Shannon Wilson: Very kind staff. I appreciated having a "Christian" class. It was relaxing and peaceful. I'll be trying a couple other classes soon with the new customer special, $20 for 3 classes.
Jasmine Stallbaumer: SWET is the third local studio I’ve tried and you know what they say- third times the charm! By far the kindest staff out there!
Alexa Baker: Joined my first class here for a rooftop morning yoga class at vantage, the class was amazing and the people are so nice! Definitely will sign up again
Catherine Schmittling: Had an amazing first couple of classes after a very long hiatus due to surgery and lengthy complications. I would highly recommend this studio especially if coming back from an injury because they are very good at catering to your physical limitations or helping reach your goals short or long term.
Amy Scharthi: I went to another popular hot yoga studio in Springfield every week for 2 years and never thought I'd go anywhere else because I loved it so much. Fast forward 3 years after I stopped going there, to today when I tried SWET (due to the wide variety of class times they offer) and I've been converted. Unless SWET goes out of business I'm never going anywhere else again. The class was energetic, yet relaxing and focused just like it should be. Since it had been so long since I'd practiced I took frequent breaks and the instructor came and put a cold wash cloth on my forehead!!! And then she did it again at the end of the class!!! I loved it so much that my fiancé is going to buy us both memberships today. I can't wait to try more classes! Namaste 😊
Kellie Revoir: Such an amazing yoga studio and I love how I have to reserve my spot in class. Keeps class sizes from being too large & I feel more committed to going. The staff is so friendly and the instructors are patient with new yogis or experienced ones!
T-FirstName S-LastName: Everyone is welcoming and friendly. It's only my second class ever and Kelly's class was awesome! It was energizing!
Angelica Ross: I've been regularly coming to S.W.E.T for a few months now and it's truly made a difference in my overall flexibility, movement, sleep, and calm. I love this yoga studio!
Jordan Bateman: Yoga means to poses
Roy Carter: It is a awesome place . Everyone just is great .

2B Well: what do users think?
De Pohlcats: Great service from Diane!
Julie Cole: Brandy Lane Hickman is the answer to prayers, in my opinion! I've been dealing with major gastrointestinal issues for about 18 years now. During those years, I've tried everything to get my good quality of life back. After meeting with Brandy, she had me on the road to recovery by changing certain things in my life. Now, I am "Living Light"....Thank you, Brandy!
Lisa Galloway: Brandy and her staff are very knowledgeable about healthy living.
Ashley Berry: Denise was extremely supportive during my pregnancy and beyond. Love having the wellness center in our community. Brandy and her nutrition program were very helpful as I changed my lifestyle to reduce toxins and eat better.
Brandy Hickman: I am so blessed to be at a space to be able to experience restorative yoga on a weekly basis. Healing and restoring is essential.

Sangha Studio: what do users think?
Matthew Blystone: Took my first class at Sangha last night, it was the 7pm candle light taught by Hanna Atwood. This place is a beautiful, high ceilinged beauty with the best natural light coming in. The energy in there is warm and inviting, and well... If you've never taken one of Hanna's classes, the sound of her guidance through asanas is something you won't forget! Great place that's hard to leave.
Leah Bodenbach: Such a wonderful studio. Between the shoppe, the laid back atmosphere, and generosity, i couldn’t pick a better yoga studio in town. And I’ve been to them all!
Tanna Baker-Hoggatt: This studio is so cozy and welcoming. All the staff are so kind and I love to take yoga classes here--There are a large variety of class options! The shop downstairs is super cute with a wide variety of merchandise. Highly reccomend!
Stephanie Ruhe: A gorgeous, truly unique space run and staffed by wonderful people that has something for everyone. Whether you're brand-new to yoga and just want to sample a few classes or a seasoned yogi looking to further your study or branch out into a new style, there's something on the schedule for you, and each and every one of the instructors is knowledgeable, caring, and will always put your safety and comfort first. The studio space itself is immaculately kept, inviting, and well-equipped with quality props. Stay for a cup of tea after your class and browse the shoppe, too!
