Pete Jensen: The lodge is really quite lovely for an old building, and recent updates have really helped to make it shine. If you're looking to rent the hall at a good price for weddings or parties or something the price is reasonable and you have a lot of space, including an industrial kitchen.

Gabriel Troust: Great service and FREE if you live in their county requirements.The staff there are always friendly and informative. They make it so simple whether it’s information or scheduling a drop off. I have used this facility numerous times in the last 2 years between my home, my parents and my in laws.Easy to find number, plus they have a list of what they do and do not take on their site. I usually call if I have a question though.Keep up the great work!They do need to put BY APPOINTMENT or CALL FOR APPOINTMENT by the phone number on the google site. You have to scroll down to see it.
Eric Jackson: This center is only open a few hours a week and drop off is by appointment only. I called Springfield's recycling hotline for more information, and when I pressed 4 to receive more information about household chemical recycling the automated service said "goodbye" and hung up on me. I I would prefer to recycle household chemicals rather than sending them to the landfill. A city the size of Springfield should have a full-time hazardous waste recycling center that does not require an appointment for drop off. So my unused latex and oil paints are going into the dumpster instead.
