Jordan Ball: They literally don't know how to do their job. Made me go to UPS for a return even though the box and label said USPS. Wouldn't let me even show her the label. Just kept rudely saying we don't do that and brushing me off. Next time I won't be so nice and put it in SpongeBob terms for them. Or call my mom who works at another location and have her tell them how to do their job. Second lady was nice though.
Chase Lyons: NEVER get shipments through USPS. Everything was on track until it reached this location. Thank god for Amazon prime, UPS and FedEx. Can’t rely on USPS for jack when it comes to anything other than mail. God forbid they have to get out of their vehicle and walk 25 ft to deliver a package. My package has just mysteriously vanished.

Mikhayla Higbee: For many years, I have trusted USPS as a mail company as they have always brought my packages in a timely order. However, today's case (6/9/2022) has made me become skeptical as to how good this company really is. I placed an order through a popular online retail site, and even though I moved apartments not too long ago, I double-checked to make sure my package was sent to the correct address. Although my package was shipped very quickly from where it originated to the KC and Springfield post offices, some crazy employee thought I sent my package to a non-existent address, and is currently returning the item that's supposed to belong to me back to the sender. I am very upset by this because I am 100% certain that I included the correct apartment address, and if that's not enough proof, then why doesn't the mail person try to take the time to find my place? I get I live in a hard-to-find college campus, but that shouldn't be anyone's excuse if the mail people were properly trained. This situation is pure laziness, and I'm not sure if I can continue using or recommending USPS to others.Edit: Updated my rating because the national customer service person was attentive with my issue.

I was unsure if it would be okay and how much postage I needed.The first clerk was rude and made it seem like I was an inconvenience to her. When I asked questions she explained it in terms I could not understand (acronyms specific to the post office that made no sense to me). Finally was able to get her to tell me how many stamps I needed.After adding stamps and addresses to my envelope, the second clerk was nicer with helping to mail it. Unsure on the nice clerk’s name, but receipt says clerk 42.

Krishn Prasad: Charged me $5 for picking up at a SHIP TO UPS OFFICE option, and it was SAME DAY PICK UP, why did you unlawfully charge me for a WHOLE DAY?- ups is using deceptive practices or, non-marketing - aka no notification with associated sellers offering "FREE" shipping to UPS office - scheme to unethically coerce $5 from unsuspecting persons who have shipped orders to a nearby office for pick up, otherwise UPS will hold their package as ransom. UPS contact me asap to solve this, you charged for for a service that you 1 - did not make clearly known in any way, shape or form, about this fee even through your partner sellers, and 2 - I picked the package up within 5 hours of the same day of it being delivered. In NONE of the EMAILS that your worthless company sent to me about my package, nor anywhere on your asinine website do you mention anything about this egregious fee, nor have any of your seller partners been updated with this strict notification. I shouldn't have to pay for your company's incompetence. Contact me asap

The employees have no idea what they are doing and what they are supposed to tell guests using the services, which leads to poor management and training! The management is rude and most of the time refuses to talk to anyone to fix an issue they will hang up on you or leave you on hold till you hang up yourself! I sent something overnight and paid a lot of money to have the item sent just for it to not get there when it was supposed to in fact it got there 3 days later! If I wanted it to get there 3 days later I would of paid the less amount of money to have it sent in 3 days not overnight! It should not take 3 days for something that was supposed to be overnighted to get from Springfield Mo to Charlotte NC! My husband is a truck driver and not in one spot for very long! All I got was a bunch of excuses and unnecessary I’m sorry’s! No refund or anything was given and I will never ever use these services again! This store should be shut down there are plenty of others in Springfield to use! The manager needs to be replaced if you want to save this business!

A nasty "Karen" came in just after me, saw a long line (maybe 4 people ahead of me) and started taking photos of the customers and the staff. I was uncomfortable as I had my daughter with me, and thankfully one of the staff (I unfortunately didn't get her name) told her politely yet very firmly to stop and to delete the photos from her phone. The Karen argued but the staff was firm and told her she would be calling the police if she didn't delete the photos. I, as a customer lacking a stick up my rear, was so relieved and felt protected in this store today. Amanda helped me at the desk a mere 5 minutes later after swiftly helping the rest of the people in front of me, and although the Karen had harassed her specifically for making copies (which she was doing for a customer) she handled everything with poise and with polite customer service.

Called spoke to Alaina- had to call back as she never came back on the line after 5 min.- she had no idea why my package was still there. No apology, very short with her words. Asked for a refund of shipping- she said no and she was the manager.I asked her for her manager she said she was at another location- Alaina didn’t know her title or position but her name is Tammy at Sunshine.Don’t drop your packages off here as you cannot be sure they will even be shipped. When they make a mistake, no apology, no reimbursement on shipping, nothing. Just unacceptable customer service.

Urban Redneck: We always try to ship thru Mailbox Too. They are very helpful and offer great insight as to which shipper to use depending on various factors. We recently shipped ten large boxes and can't thank these fine folks for thier kindness and assistance.

Nicol Nguyen: It was a pleasant experience coming in to mail a package internationally for Christmas. They were very friendly. I bought a mailer there and inserted my item into it, brought it to the front desk to see. She mailed out my item. I let her know before I left that I hadn’t sealed it. She had already taped all the details on the package and assured me everything would be sent out. A few weeks later, the package is received without the item inside. The attached video is what the recipient got. When I brought this up with them, the owner/manager (I’m assuming?) picked apart the video and told me that Canadian customs and/or USPS were responsible. She said that the tape where it’s sealed looked like it was curling which meant that somebody else took it off and put it back on.. but adhesive like that curls after being in transport. She assured me that they would’ve sealed it and that customs frequently rips things apart, even puts on different labels. She blamed everyone but Mailbox Too. She even went to the back to speak with her husband. At this point, I know I’m being lied to and so I give up, there’s no point in continuing a conversation with a business that would lie to your face like this. She offered no help in finding that missing item nor with bringing this to the attention of USPS or Canadian customs. I’m very disappointed. They’ll probably reply to this review and vehemently deny everything, like the other negative review. If you decide to go to Mailbox Too, I hope things don’t go wrong for you and that you don’t have to ask them to fix a problem.

mike McTeer: Hope you don't have a problem with a package; they are seemingly great to deal with until that happens. We have been dropping all packages, but won't do any more. If you have a problem, the fault is all yours, they accept none. Last Saturday we emailed them a label, visited and they printed for a reasonable 54 cent charge. I watched their guy place the label on the package, but evidently he didn't scan. Turns out that was my fault??? the package was not scanned in and they are both arrogant and hateful in not accepting accountability for the scan; prefer to blame on the me or the FedEx driver. For all I know, one of their employees is enjoying a $400 antique wall cabinet at my expense and my customer is without. Shame on you!

She bad mouths her employees saying they are having trouble with the the store. She accused the gentleman that I spoke to all four times of not giving her the message to return my call. After asked to speak to the owner requesting they honor their stores mistake she stated she would and then call back. She never called back. After reading reviews I see this is how the owner runs their store. The associates in the store was very polite and did what they could to help. If you want your package to arrive at the destination go somewhere else. This place is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!

Need To See The World: Haven’t been to this location in quite a while. What a refreshing surprise to walk into a store and be greeted with a smile and helpful attitude. Although I only had to drop off an Amazon return, it was a pleasant experience. The person named Dom should be recognized for his good customer service.

Intelligent service has been declining for the last couple years but I try to understand with the change in quality employees that are available. Today though I needed to next day deliver some important documents. Simple. 4 employees in the store I think, and they didn't know what to do. I was quiet and patient while they tried to figure it out, but eventually I calmly said that I didn't think they knew what they were doing, I picked up my documents and started silently walking out of the store. Then one of the employees there said "Just leave then". I said what? His reply was " Don't talk, just get out." Repeatedly he told me to be quiet, stop talking and just leave. I never spoke loudly or rudely at all. I've got a formal complaint into The UPS Store corporate office and supposedly I'll hear from the owner of this location soon, but I just couldn't believe how rude this ignorant little immature boy was behind the counter. He refused to give me his name but I can identify him if necessary. And it's a small area with him talking loudly so if there was a store manager he would have easily heard what was going on and they did nothing. I've used this location since 1999 but never again.

Jason Mayer: After having such a great experience with the UPS store in Scottsdale, it made me realize how bad this store is. There is a guy there, with a sleeve tattoo, who is amazing. Sadly I don't know his name. I have dealt with him several times. But 2 times I have dealt with 2 different younger "kids", that have been rude and disrespectful. Being from a customer service background, I can say the tattoo guy should be a manager or supervisor of some kind, but the owners of this store should either provide him with ample help, show up to work themselves, or close the store. Maybe they work a few hours a week, but I have been in that store almost 20 times in the last 30 days and have never seen anyone in charge if it isn't the Tattoo guy.

Dennis Kidd: Never been treated so disrespectfully to pick up my husband’s package. I’ve picked up plenty of packages here with no problems but now, they Said that he can call to verify that I can pick up the package THEN changed her mind as I was calling and say I need a copy of his drivers license to pick up our package. No that we can even come back later since they close whenever they want no matter what the hours on the door say. Very lazy customer service.

C Williams: 3/4 times there are more staff than customer and there is a 10 minute line. No drop boxes, you have wait. They also don't stock UPS boxes, specifically so they can charge $5 to $8 dollars for their boxes, even if you are overnighting or 2nd day air. I ship a lot and try to only use this a a drop off, but that still takes 10 minutes.

B B: If I had entered a review a month ago, it would have been 5 stars for their friendly helpful service in the past several years. Today was horrible. I had an item to return to Amazon. I had printed the return label and handed it to the lady. I'd given them items before without packaging and it was no big deal. She said it'll need a envelope, not telling me that'll be a charge; will a padded one be okay. I said sure, if that is what they need to do. Then at the end she tells me that'll be $3 for the packaging. What? Waving the label, she said what do you think this label is for, it attaches to a package, duh. I said forget it, I'll use my own package and wanted the return label back so I could attach it to my own packaging. She said she had to cancel the label. What? Asked how am I to return it then. Told me to call Amazon and figure it out. I got angry and said what the F (I apologize for the outburst) and demanded my label back. The man in there overhearing this told me to leave and never come back. Wow. What a switch in customer service. Time to use a different UPS location. I cannot recommend this place. They need to train their people in customer service.I did call Amazon, they were super! I asked for a new label. They took care of the return and told me not to worry about returning the item, and that the refund will be handled. That is the way customer service is to work, help the customer, not hinder them.

Mikhayla Higbee: Great and convenient location for all of your shipping needs. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about products, and have always helped me with whatever I needed. I rented several textbooks from Amazon that had to be returned and I never had an issue dropping off returns here. Overall, I would highly recommend this location to others.

Dusta Cook: UPS in Springfield is awful. If I could give them no ⭐ I would. They deliver a package to my apartment when I was not home. After I called the call center and explained I work and not at my house from 7am until 5:30pm. The UPS call center said they would tell that to the delivery department. The local UPS said they never received anything from the call center. I even downloaded the app and explained about my work schedule. They suggested I come get the item at their Hub in Springfield. I paid for shipping. I do not use UPS and try not to purchase items where UPS delivers. Please be very careful with this . I have informed yhe seller about my money back and let them know to get their shipping refunded. I really do no like UPS.
Laura Wulf: UPS is terrible and they know nothing about customer service!!!! A certain driver that has us on his route, decided he was never going to deliver to our house. We had to drive 42 miles (both ways), to get our frozen dog food ever since July 8th, and still going on. 1 box each month. His excuses were because of the bad weather, a bad dog next door and we were not home. I always stayed home when they said it was going to be delivered and it never has been. The boy doesn't even know us. Fellow worker said he has 10 customers he refuses to deliver to. And he is protected by the union so UPS REfuses to even slap his hands.

Nicole S: This location is close to my appartment allows for package drop off (I had prepaid postage packages to send out). There are blue letter drop off boxes available in the parking lot too. No usual retail services are available though.
Vincent Connell: If you go to this location and a big tall guy helps you, walk out. Not a good dude. Closed the window door while I was still speaking.

Smoking Man: They continually deliver mail to the wrong addresses and lose checks. They continually deliver packages and set them on a porch facing the street with 20000 cars a day go by instead of walking 10 more feet past that porch to the next one around the corner which they walk by anyway where nobody can see the packages.
L P: I can't find out where my package is. Their phone has a nonstop busy signal, and their website refuses to allow redelivery (to my house in the middle of the freaking city intersecting probably dozens of postal routes).

When I put the package in a regular mailbox it was delivered with no problem, and the same went for my local post office, so there was obviously no real problem. The people that work here are crazy.

Shelley Steeves: I contacted this post office this morning in reference to certified mail I had sent out on August 23rd, in hopes they had it there, waiting on a signature. The lady that answered was really nice, but unfortunately, she told me that my mail hadn't made it there yet. A few moments after ending that call, I received a call back from Kim at this post office, who spent time trying to track my mail. She was so kind and patient. It kinda helped with the mess of losing this mail. She gave me a few options on how to resolve my issue, of which I greatly appreciated!Kim is a prime example of why I love Springfield Missouri so much!!Thank you Kim!!
Jacob Hangen: Today I went outside after doing some yard work and found a mail carrier parked in my driveway with two others bordering the property and either smoking or vaping just hanging out. They asked if they needed to move and I said "yes please", but I feel like this was very weird, especially just parking on my property. I really think this is something that shouldn't happen.
mike whitney: I brought a delivery issue to the S. Campbell Annex and left the information with the man that assisted me. Less than two hours later I received a phone call from Supervisor Kim H., and she worked skillfully to resolve the problem. We determined the online store provided me with the wrong tracking number. How did Kim do that? By asking me questions about the size of the package, its weight, and origin of shipment....that's how she did it. I told her how much I appreciated her call and interest, what a great person to work with. More than 5 stars, I would give her 10! Mike
