Kyle York: When my wife’s beloved Mini Cooper broke a camshaft and had subsequent head damage, I began searching for a machine shop to help me out. Luckily, I stumbled across Clayton and his guys at Motor Machine Shop. When the head was returned to us, it was a thing of beauty! The attention to detail and care he puts into his work was evident even when he helped my wife put the head in the backseat of our truck for the ride home. I’m happy to say the head has been installed with a new camshaft and the Mini runs better than ever. Most importantly, my wife is thrilled. I can’t thank Clayton and his guys enough!

Thomas Scott: We ordered a cherry and a grape slush we got 2 grapes a month back I ordered slush and the machine was broke how convenient on hot night of cruising try to use people to back is but poor service 2 in a row

Brian Miller: Absolutely love these folks! If I need a hydraulic hose built NOW, they are my go-to. The turn-around and pricing on cylinder re-seals is great, and the work is top-notch.
CMN R: closes at 4 and not open on saturdays, not even a 1/2 day. Not sure when a person is supposed to be able to get in there.

David Pierce: It was a small job. Took my serpentine pulley to get machined to fit my power steering pump shaft length. Machine shop manager Ricky discussed options, advised me the best way to make it work for my application. Dropped it off at 7:30, picked it up at noon. The cost was more than fair. Part works perfectly. Professional from the first phone call to walking out the door. Being a business owner, this is how its done. This isn't the only time I have done business with them but worthy of mentioning this time! Thanks Ricky!

JD Stewart: Hydraulic hoses done while you wait, at a reasonable cost. Also had a loader hydraulic cylinder on my tractor blow a seal right before Memorial Day weekend, while I had an excavator rented for the same time. They got me done in the same day, which saved the weekend's work. Outstanding.
Kylee Kelley: Charged me $300 to tell me my part wasn’t fixable I took it to a different shop and was told it would be fixable if they could get parts and was charged nothing from the other shop I talked to the owner at Yarbrough and he was supposed to get back to me about a week ago so I would watch out with these people

Jeremy Rose: Terrible communication! Never returned a single call. I would have to call him from different numbers to get him to answer.Dropped a head off for valves and cam bearings back in September of 2022.Told me twice “I’m almost done with it”Picked it up on 3/18/23, 6 months later, and he NEVER touched it. It was in the same condition from 6 months ago. Would never consider business here again and definitely would but recommend whereas he’ll simply lie to you and never answer or return your calls.

Ryan Curtis: Has anyone heard anything out of Jeff? I've been trying to reach his shop for weeks and cant get a response out of him. I dropped off some 7.3 heads and now I cant get ahold of him. I live 70 miles away and I guess I will have to drive up there.
Tawner Stefan: I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing machine work done on their dollar. I had a 273 Commando V8 machined and a 396 block. Bother were done extremely well and in a good time frame. The price is always right on all of his work. Two thumbs up!

zach easley: Call to get a quote on work and can't get any sort of even idea on what it would cost to get work done on an ls. I was told labor rate is 100 an hour and it could take 30 minutes or it could take hours they have no idea. How do you run a business this way? It'd be best to have someone that answers phones and deals w customers to have some sort of knowledge on the business that is supposedly being offered.

Need to use the proper torque specs if your going to expect an engine to last more then 70’000 miles especially at your prices.Second it is pretty sad when they tell you that you could buy a brand new engine for the price they charge to do work on your engine.
