The hours said M - F 9:00am to 6:00pm. I waited 20 minutes and was ready to leave when he drove up in his truck. He has an advertisement on his truck so I knew it was him. He didn't say anything to me, and turned his truck around and drove off. I waited another 15 minutes and was just leaving when he drove up again. I drove out of the driveway so he could drive in. He turned around again and drove off. I left.Very Strange!

When we went back a few days later, it started.with ease and ran better than it has since it was new. Dad is getting older and things aren't as easy as they used to be. I'm sooo glad he convinced Dad to let him tune it up. It was reasonable and worth every penny! Will go back of there is ever a need too!

Brent Pennell: Do NOT USE THEM.I took my lawn tractor in to replace a spindle on the mower deck.When I got it home, I immediately noticed the PTO engagement cable was installed improperly.I attempted to use the mower and it ran for 10 seconds and then failed.I returned it for service, and they informed me the cable had failed and they would need to order a new part. Two months later I retrieved my still "broken" mower.WHAT I FOUND.The spring the cable was attached to had come off the pulley. SEVERAL bolts were loose and could be removed with fingers. The deck was not attached properly to the tractor. And the cable was routed improperly.A defective part was all a LIE, and I was able to resolve the issue myself without any help from diagrams or the internet, because it was all intuitive. Maybe 30 minutes of work.These people will lie to your face, and keep your mower for weeks without touching it.I will tell everyone I know not to use them.- Edited after the responseI had used them previously, and even though they were still rude like previous reviewers have indicated, I sent my mower in for repair of the spindle. I have no idea why their computer isn't showing the recent transaction. If there's any question, ask yourself "Why would he wait for 'over a year' to provide a poor review?" - There's a long list of reviews that indicate THEY are deceptive.

joe camel: This place is a bit sketchy. I brought a motor bicycle in to be fixed and was quoted double what the actual engine would cost. Going to buy a scooter in tiptop shape According to the seller. It had been toppled and repainted to look like nothing happened and was told it wasn’t toppled . the lock to get in to the storage under the seat was missing. Was told it was 2 1/2 years old in reality it was more like three years and four months old. You probably could get some honest business from this guy just be weary and question everything.
Nature Hills: Mr. Jerry is a little unorthodox but they did do a great job on the engine. It was fixed in a timely manner and he stayed in contact with us. The business is hand-shake dealing but he fixed it and got it back to us and it wasn’t much money to fix it.

Ben Wendt: These guys are super friendly. You don't even really have to know what it is called that you need, just bring them the part and a picture of any kind of identification plate on the equipment and they will look it up. They almost always have what I need and if they don't have it, they know where I can get it. The one time they didn't have what I needed, they called Another Place make sure they have the part and ask them to hold it for me! Now that is good customer service.

Brian Slane: Fisher needs to drop them!! I called shop worker and explained in great detail what I had. Fisher ez-v snow plow. He said they could get it all working and if it needed parts they have them in stock….lol. When his shop worker saw that I had a Fisher plow….his mind was blown!!! His first words were…..I have never worked on one! Keep in mind they are the Fisher Dealer. And when I pulled out the wire harnesses for the truck side he noticed the three wires cut for auxiliaries…..once again…..mind blown….it was more like they really didn’t know how to test and trouble shoot any thing pertaining to fisher plows. Or just didn’t want to work on it. The owner stated it would be $700 to put my harness on my truck(which I was fine with) but then stated he would not guarantee it to work. It’s like they wanted a plug and play situation……Alex the shop kid knew it wasn’t before I ever got there. I explained that it would need some trouble shooting to figure out what it needed before he made the appointment……he said they could handle it……apparently not! Do yourself a favor and find a different shop and don’t waste your time with this one!!

Rick Newman: I have taken my mower here twice for not starting and it still has the same problem, first it was a starter kit and just 5 mowings later the second time it was the battery, now this is the third time this calendar year of 2022 and it’s sitting in the neighbors yard and won’t start again. The battery is a couple of months old and has plenty of clicking power but it won’t start. Maybe after it cools off it’ll start and I can bring it back home, not happy that I keep having to push a 52” zero turn mower. Maybe. just maybe, Ozark Outdoors will be able to fix it this time or they will never get my business again.

Tom Grubaugh: I purchased my Hustler Fastrak from Rick 10 years ago. Over this period of time, he always helped get the mower worked on and back to me as quickly as possible. I always felt Rick was honest with me, and he got all of my accessory business as well. My mower is 10 years old, but only has 263 hours on it, as my lawn only takes about 35 minutes to do. This year I spent over $800 on maintenance for this low time mower, with starter problems and more blower/bagger problems. This recent blower/bagger problem was the final straw! I went up to talk to Rick about the reoccurring problem, and was informed that he had sold the business and was working in the shop now.. I went back to the shop to talk with him and found the shop empty of mechanics, with him the only person back there to work on the mowers. To make a long story short, all of their mechs had quit, and he was the only person available for service. I had talked to the new president about a trade for a new Hustler Fastrak, and he wanted $7300 for the mower and was only giving me $1500 for my very clean, low time mower that they had sold me originally and done all the maintenance on since new. No discounts at all! I went to another dealer selling top-rated commercial mowers and bought the top commercial mower made for $300 less, was given $500 more for my trade, got a $350 rebate from the manufacturer, and a $250 Visa gift card for my military service. This amounted to a $1400 better deal, and they provide free pickup and delivery for service, where I was being charged for it before. They still have mechanics in their shop, and so far have been very quick to answer my questions regarding the new mower. At the rate Ozark Outdoor Products is going, I have to question how long they'll be able to stary in business!

He even made time to deliver the mower in the afternoon, even though it was a Saturday. He walked me through how to use and maintain the mower and answered all the questions I had. And the mower is working great so far!Everyone I dealt with at Ozark Outdoors was friendly and helpful and went above my expectations, which made for a great experience.

Big AL Ozarkwildman: Positive experience. Asked a question and he got back to me right away.
Ken Curtis: I had Greg work on my rider after having another, larger, shop work on it 3 times last year for months and not fixed the problem.Greg was a little slow picking it up but he keep in touch. Being the start of the season I am sure he was backed up.Well the wait was worth it. He replaced the carb, and got it back to me. Price was fair and I have a working mower for the first time in a year.I have found my new shop
C Q: I brought two non-starting engines to Greg. He said they might just need carburetor cleaning, and charged me $25 each to "diagnose" them, which fee he would apply to my repair bill. Later, he said one engine was not repairable because he could not read the model number. After I got it home, I moistened a finger with spittle and wiped it across the ID plate. There was the model number, clear as day, stamped in the aluminum plate. I looked it up, and could get a carb rebuild kit for under $20. Did Greg attempt to clean the carb? He did not. The second engine he said was too old to get parts for. Did he attempt to clean the carb? He did not. Now, as a tradesman myself, I do not like to criticize another man's work, so all I will say about Greg's service is, "This is not how I treat my clients". Greg said that he could not repair the engine, because the ID plate was so corroded, however, he offered to replace the engine for about $1000. No thank you. (a replacement engine, with more HP, is available for about $450 from Small Engine Warehouse, including shipping.) Greg replied to my original review suggesting that I was lying and challenging me to post a picture of the ID plate, which I had easily cleaned and is easily read. I have posted the picture. The engine is B&S model 171437 type 1131.01.

Came to house picked up mower and delivered. I knew it was their busy season and never bothered with a follow up call. I anticipated one month at best for even a diagnosis considering it’s mowing season. Less than 3 weeks and it’s repaired delivered to my home on a Friday evening well after normal business hours. Great job!I highly recommend!! Will use Greg’s Mower Shop for all future maintenance and repair. Done with the do-it-myself approach.
