Andrew Bartholomew: We have had some serious hard rain that found its way into our basement. Mark and his crew came in and rescued us by installing an underground yard drain in our backyard. He even tied the downspouts into the system. Eventually the downspouts should be upgraded from 3" to 4" but the tie-ins installed are 4" so when the downspouts are replaced, it's ready to go. With the large rains we've gotten since the install, our basement has remained dry! I recommend Imagination Landscapes!Service:Yard drainage

Linda Widders: I scheduled an appointment with Gabris Landscaping and they sent out a gentleman to give an estimate within a few days. Unfortunately the project was an old rock retaining wall. I was told that in order to properly solve my problem the following things needed to be done: hire an engineer, tear out the concrete patio, clear out trees, and then rebuild the wall . I was told it would cost about $30,000 to make sure the wall would be properly constructed. This was more than I was willing to pay so I was told they would refund the $75 that was charged for an estimate.Service:Hardscaping
Nic Mertz: We have used Gabris for a couple years now to do our back flow test and irrigation work with no issues. 6/8/22 they came out to do our back flow test and said the irrigation system needed repair so I said ok fix it. The next month I get a bill for $1343.25 a charge of this amount should be communicated plain and simple. I called Gabris and asked if there was a mistake they said that the charges were valid and they were sorry it was so much money.
Amy Girth: I researched several companies for a large job of leveling, grading and seeding an area we had numerous trees removed from. Our yard seems to be a giant rock pile!! Jeff came out to review our options. He was on time, detailed and very customer oriented. Because of this, we cancelled our other lawn service and hired Gabris for the landscaping job as well as lawn maintenance. Lance, in the office, has kept us updated on scheduling. Garrett worked to level landscaping brick in pouring rain. Ryan and Tim were on time (early and stayed late in 90 degree heat) to clean up rocks and prep for dirt work for two days. Additional crew was brought in to make sure the job got finished by the scheduled time. All of the crew were professional, timely, cleaned up after themselves and were very professional! We were very pleased by the service and the reasonable cost! Stephen Haggard: Update 11/06/2021: Paul and Denzel trimmed our shrubs and cleaned out our beds. They did a great job as always. Paul is very knowledgeable and detail-oriented. I wish all service providers shared his dedication and work ethic.Before Jeff Gabris, my longest-serving lawn professional was with me only about a year in total. My former providers were less reliable, less talented, and less responsive to my requests. Jeff is always looking for ways to improve his performance, so he is open to constructive criticism - a trait not shared by many of his competitors. People often ask me who does my lawn, so I keep Jeff's contact info handy.I also used to have separate contractors for lawn mowing, lawn fertilizing, and lawn irrigation. As Jeff gained additional competencies and licenses, I handed over all of this work to him. Now I don't have my lawn fertilizer guy blaming my lawn irrigation guy or lawn mowing guy for brown spots - as they are all one person. By the way, I've had no brown spots since Jeff took over all three jobs.Gabris also does great landscaping work. Jeff will do a great job discussing with you what you are trying to accomplish and gives great suggestions about things you might consider. He even met us at a nursery one time to look over plants for a potential flower bed change and steered us away from some bad plants. Jeff's quoted jobs come in on budget and his rates are reasonable given the quality of work he does.

Linda Ayres: I highly recommend Gabris Landscaping! We had 3 retaining walls replaced and a new garden built to help with some drainage issues. They were great to work with from the initial consultation all the way until the project was finished. The work was done in 1/2 the amount of time expected and looked so much better than we expected. William, Paul, Galvin, and Jordan did the majority of the work and were very friendly and great to work with. They were very meticulous in making sure everything was done the way we wanted and went above and beyond what was expected. We will definitely use them for any outdoor projects in the future.
Eric Johnson: I wish I could give this company a 0 because they claim to know what they are doing and will not fix the problems after the issues are pointed out to them. They put plants in wrong places that won't grow because they don't know what they are doing. When plants die because of their screw up they don't warranty their plants unlike every other landscaping company I have used. Stay away from these guys.

Amy Varner: We had 811 Dig flags and spray paint in our yard for weeks in the fall waiting for our sprinkler system to be put in. Springfield Gardens didn’t come then so we took up the flags and 811 Dig came again in December and the sprinkler system got put in. Our yard was more dug up than expected and there were exposed lines sticking up above ground all winter. They came back April 22 at 5:15 even though they said they’d be here between 3:00-5:00, and the worker acknowledged that it was a poor quality job and a crew would need to come out and do several hours of work. We scheduled them to come out at 8:00am first thing on May 10 so my husband didn’t go into work that morning. The worker was over an hour late without calling to inform my husband. I did reach the office after multiple attempts, and she said the employee was looking for sod. He finally showed up without sod, and no one has brought sod almost two months later. We’ve gone ahead and spent hundreds of dollars for seed and spent countless hours picking up rocks that were left in our yard and patching the bare spots and adding soil around the sprinkler heads that were too high and causing a tripping hazard.Please learn from our mistake and don’t hire them to install an in-ground sprinkler system.Service:Irrigation system repair maintenance

Chris Elder: I happen to know Curt who owns Springfield Garden Lawn & Landscape. His guys do a fantastic job mowing my yard. They make sure it looks really good, trim it up nicely and make sure it's all cleaned up afterwards. If you want a good job, give them a call. They also do a great job with Christmas lighting too. Worth every penny!!
Brian Pickens: Its the beginning of June and my yard looks completely different than when I first started using them for all my lawn care including fertilizing and mowing. Stephen Buchheit: We had an issue with water getting under the house, because of a back yard sloping back toward the house and because of downspouts emptying too near the foundation. Nixa Lawn put in a drainage system with collection points in back, and ran all downspouts under the ground and away from the house. We've had four very significant rains since the work was finished, and the sump pump hasn't kicked on even once. Can't say enough about the great work these people did for us. Nixa Lawn gets our highest recommendation.

Kimberley Lippelman-Nash: I do not use Nixa Lawn Service but apparently my neighbor does. For the past three weeks I have suspected they are blowing the leaves from his yard into mine since mine had been freshly mowed and mulched, but there was a clear pile of leaves that started at our property line and had obviously just been cleared from his yard. Yesterday someone was at my home and caught them doing it. I called the office to report it, but they denied being in the area, even though their name and logo were on the white pickup parked in front of my neighbor's house. The individual at my home sent me photos of them blowing the leaves into my yard as well as photos of the truck itself. They did a great job on my neighbor's lawn by just making the leaves from his yard MY problem! I will never use a lawn service that is not respectful to my neighbors. Extremely unprofessional behavior!

Crystal Smotherman: We had sod Installed in the back of our yard. They called the day before to let me know that they would be out the following day first thing in the morning. They arrived on site and installed all the sod within a couple hours. They were very hard-working and took the time to make sure that the sod was installed correctly and they cut around my fence post. This is true quailty work!! I would highly recommend them for sod installation.

Corbin Campbell: I have had Nixa Lawn take care of the Midwest Family Broadcasting property for over five years and I'm ready for them to do it again in 2019. They are a one stop shop. They take care of the mowing, trimming, irrigation end of season maintenance, snow removal, etc. It's nice having one company that can do it all instead of having to look for several companies. Very professional and great people to work with. They are licensed and insured, not just a bunch of guys with mowers and weed trimmers looking for work. Save yourself some time and grief and hire Matt and his crew. Having the grass cut and having the snow plowed in the parking lot will be one less thing you have to worry about in 2019.

Sarah Gabbard: We hired Nixa Lawn Service to mow our yard once a week throughout the summer. Several times over the summer our yard was not mowed and we had to call the office to make sure we were not charged for that week.The woman that answers the phone is usually short and somewhat hateful. When I inquired about my yard not being mowed one week because it had rained, she was hateful and told me that this was just the nature of the business and they cannot mow if it is raining. I explained to her that I understand that but I should not have to pay for service that was not provided. The next time the yard was not mowed (and it was not because of rain this time) I called and was told that the mowers said they mowed and she reluctantly said she would not charge me for that week.The mowers are friendly but they do not do a very good job of mowing. They get the job done as fast as possible and that seems to be the only thing they are concerned with. There is a section of our yard in between a utility box and our mailbox that is difficult to mow with a riding mower so instead of using a push mower or the edger, they just don't mow it very often. A couple of times they have left the gate open to our backyard.I will NOT be hiring them again next year.
