Kevin Love: There is a nice supply of good fixtures at this company. The sales staff is very pleasant and helpful. My only concern is price. I understand that you get what you pay for, but most of their stock is on the high side. Be prepared.
Cammy Elder: I went into the store this afternoon to shop for lights and was the only customer in the store and not one person greeted me or asked if they could assist me. They were more interested in talking with each other and cleaning than making a sale. So much for shopping local.

Gina Beamish: Walked in, not a single "hello" - was there for about an hour, no one asked us if we needed any help - there were 4 other customers in the store - they weren't busy. Unfortunately, we found light fixtures there that we liked and they had the best price - called to order them over the phone the very next morning and we were told they were more expensive than what they had on the tag the night before. When I questioned the sales person, he said they had a price increase at the beginning of the year. When I told him that I was just there the night before and that I have a picture of the price, he replied "Well, price increases happen at midnight." Changing his story from Jan 1st price increases to overnight price increases. Long story short, I regret buying them from Lighthouse, and wouldve gladly bought them elsewhere for more money based on this experience with them.
Alaina Grote: I highly recommend Light House Gallery! The staff was super helpful and took the time to share different options with me since I didn't know exactly what I wanted. They have so many options in lighting, fans, and decor! I try to shop locally as often as I can, and this is a family-owned and -operated business with several members of the same family working here (plus one very important extra member -- a super cute dog named Piper who greets everyone and has her own couch!). So much fun and a great experience.

Been There: Nice place to browse but everything is pretty pricey. Also, they do not give military discounts. There are better alternatives to shop at or utilize online.

Stuart Stringer: They are no longer open on Saturday’s which is extremely inconvenient for people who work during the week. Also my wife has a serious health condition that requires extra oxygen which prevents her from being able to wear a mask. When we went into the store on Monday we were immediately asked to have her put on a mask. When we explained to the rude worker upfront that she has a serious health condition and has a legitimate exemption they refused to see it and told us we could not shop there. They just lost a customer for life and will not recommend them ever to other people in my industry.
Darla Poindexter: Rude staff. Their hours of operation are terrible. They are never open on the weekends anymore due to "Covid". They would not recognize my health exemption even when I offered to show my paperwork from my specialist, which is illegal! They are the only place in Springfield that isn't open on Saturday now. Harry Cooper has a great selection and is open on the weekends and has much better customer service. I will never give this company my business.

Rob Hulstra: An incredible selection of indoor and outdoor lighting. My wife and I are replacing some fixtures and we were excited to see the selection they offered. Our sales person, Ian, said the store displays only about 5% of what they have on hand. Go online to see the full inventory. Modern, futuristic, contemporary, lighting systems, designer light switches, under counter lighting, ceiling fans, the list is endless. For several years this is our go-to lighting store. If you're not particularly adept at installing electrical fixtures, they have a list of electricians that can do the job for you!

Christine Ozley: My husband and I used The Light House Gallery for our new build. We found beautiful lighting to complement most of the rooms in our home. We stopped by often to view indoor and outdoor lighting and to ask questions. We spoke several times with the owner Debbie and I believe both of her boys. Each time they were extremely friendly and sociable as they offered assistance in finding just the right look, even staying after closing when we arrived late. Debbie also allowed us to do an exchange when one room didn't come together liked we hoped. She never made us feel like exchanging lighting or asking a bunch of questions were an inconvenience. Building can be very stressful and frustrating but, if you're wanting a unique look with an enjoyable, relaxed shopping experience I would definitely recommend them. Grateful for all your help.

May Thompson: I am livid. I spent 1,400 on a refrigerator that arrived(Tuesday) damaged, so I refused delivery. Wednesday I canceled the replacement and requested a refund. I was told 3 days. Well we are well into the next week and still no refund. I would like to thank Kirk and Betty who are trying to help me actually get my refund but Home Depot needs to do something to change the way they do damaged appliance returns. The customer should be able to go into the store and get their refund the same day if not the next they should Not still be out $1,400 a week later.

Second employee said was too busy and would have someone sent over. 15 minutes later had to ask again. 3rd and 4th employee could not find a simple water line for a sink.They finally suggested I go to the pro desk for help. I realize good help is hard to find, and I try to support local businesses, but amazon had it to me next day on my porch. Have experienced this more than once.

Dillon Brewer: ***Update*** it’s been over a week since I cancelled the order and I still have not received a refund….. I had a terrible experience with Home Depot's delivery. Despite placing an order online and providing my contact information, they never called to schedule a delivery window. I figured the first time was just a glitch in their system, however when I rescheduled for the next available date and set the four hour window for 7:30-11:30am they scheduled me the day of for a 12:00-4:00pm delivery. When I reached out to customer service for assistance, they were unhelpful and seemed indifferent to my problem. I had to take time off work to wait for the delivery that never arrived. I will not be using Home Depot's delivery service again and would caution others to consider alternative options.

E Wise: They carry Stanley tools online but barely any in the store. The labels on the Husky tools that they carry in store stated they were made in China, but tools are one thing I won't buy China made. No cashiers when we went, self checkout only.

Allen Yoest: Self checkouts are trash and the staff are too. I rang up my transaction, paid with my debit card and after a few minutes the register errors out right before printing a receipt. The charge still hit my account and immediately posted. The posted transaction was shown to the staff member who watched me checkout, being a reasonable human being she understands. However her coworker states that I can't leave with the merchandise because it's still "pending" despite the fact that she had been shown a posted transaction and tells me that I need to go with her to pay for it again. I decided to just leave without the merchandise, I'm not paying for something twice because your awful self checkout crashed while trying to print a receipt.This isn't the first time I've had an issue with the self checkouts, but it will be the last time. Don't waste your time or money here. You'll only be disappointed.
Heather Leverich: Just dealt with a very rude and uncooperative manager who refused to help me with a return even though I had a receipt and the item was unopened. The manager said she could tell the item had definitely been opened even though I never had opened the package. The plastic wrapper was slightly moved around inside the package and she said that showed her that the package had definitely open even though that is exactly how the packaging looked from the moment I received the item and the exact same item is still for sale in the store in the exact same packaging. I would recommend just shopping online or going to a more friendly and cooperative store like Kohl's.
M. M.: You can spend half a day in this store :)The only reason why we did not give them 5 stars is because of some bait & switch going on. We bought an item on display with a price point on it. When we went to the checkout, the item was $10 more than marked. A manager? Came over and gave us a $10 discount ( to get the price advertised ) they made us become a member with our phone # and our email address. You call it what you want, but I still feel it's "bait and switch.""
