Allure Thrift/ Resale Store: what do users think?
ChefAkeeno “sper101” Clarke: Best place for all your small trinkets me and my wife went there and she came out with alot of goodies, staff are super friedly top notch customer service!!!
Tianna Morrison: I swear I just love coming here one of the best if not the best flea market in Springfield!! I bring my nieces here all the time they pick out everything they see, the prices are great and the customer services is top tier!!! Love it here.
Gladstone Morrison: Great please I do believe this is the best flea market ever and the people that own it are so nice and attentive to your needs!
Ricci Wright: Did not visit went next door to consumers hardware which I like
Jenny gomez: A wonderful place to go.Super friendly and lovey staff.! The pricing is also budget friendly.
Ellen Dare: The people are nice but this store NEVER seems to open on time, I been sitting here it said open but it's locked up! Opens at 10:30 well it's 11:12 now.
Doughten Theresa L Reaves: amazing store. the ladies at the front of the store were very nice and the store has so much to see. The sheets they have for sale are also a very good find. priced right also. king sheets for 22.00. nice vibrant colors. so much to see must have time to look in every corner of the store. i’ll be back
Hectick Homestead: Fabulous place to shop!Great customer service, with kind and helpful employees!5 stars for greatness in organization, cleanliness and service and decent prices too.Definitely recommend this store to anyone who is looking for unique gifts, gadgets, and miscellaneous thrift finds!!
Casey Cota: Right on. A little pricey, but nice election so far.
Kat Fish: A very, very friendly three part (food, thrift, and Wish pickup) family business. The thrift store had themed displays that makes for an enjoyable peruse, like a museum of collecting. They had some good comics, when I visited, as well as other nerdy, old fashioned, or nostalgic collectibles, and some cheap thrills and useful items. Also, they gave me free birthday cake from the Jamaican American food truck their family runs next door, and offered to go out of their way on their day off to sell me a meal the next day, when they're usually closed. Mostly good prices. They make sure your purchases price stickers are removed cleanly. As a sleep deprived (due to vacation) autistic, queer, looking trashy af with no eye contact, I felt welcomed, respected, and not gawked at with suspicion, so I think think it's a generally welcoming place.
Jolene Haynes: Very nice people in there!!!!
Steven Harber: Excellent selection. Very neat little store. Nice people to deal with.
dvaness322: The people that work there are nice and it's a neat little store
Jennifer Zimmer: Friendly staff and cute puppy dog. Lots of inventory but looked more like garage sale items. Prices were fair but not cheap
Mark Bryant: This is a nice little store, I like it because it isn't so big with a overwhelming amount of booths to look through. Also like that the booths have nice items and reasonable prices; from barn find rusty gold items to new gift items to unique antique treasures. The store is presentable, clean facilities and the folks behind do to he counted are genuine wonderful people. They are by far the least judgemental individuals in comparison to any other thrift or flea market in the Springfield Mo area. Clearly the two negative reviews are from hateful individuals and post a negative review reflective of their own poor attitude. First time I went in the store I was greeted very promptly and spoken to very respectfully. They was eager to help me and make sure that all my needs were met and I was satisfied. And then as I was about to leave the store they thanked me for my business welcome to be back allow me to leave feeling very pleasant and happy that I spent my time and money to benefit this locally owned store. The lady behind the counter even gave me a compliment on my motorcycle as I was walking out the door.
Jonathan: this little place flew by under my radar for a long time but I noticed it on Google maps and I figured I would stop by and see what they had. there's some really cool booths here! and I really like the folks running the place, they were really nice and personable. a lot of the stores like this in town sometimes make me feel like they think I'm trying to steal something which I understand, they probably have a lot of people who do try to steal something. I'm not the guy though. anyway back to it, there's a couple boots that had some really collectible things, one of the booth had a really nice selection of wind chimes and Moroccan lights. I would say that this store is perfect for a person who has maybe 30 minutes to an hour, I know sometimes I'll go to a place like this and 3 hours later I'm walking out wondering where all my time went but you shouldn't have that problem here. it's definitely worth a look and definitely worth supporting. the photo I assume own it were behind the front counter and I really hope they do well with their business.
Angie Rash: Variety o if nice items. Friendly service.
Rebecca Haines: One of my favorite thrift stores
Anthony Blevins: Excellent staff and theft prevention
dannette libbee: Always find something to buy. Today was better than normal. Owners are very friendly n helpful.
Luzanne Schultz: GREAT people, great deals !!!

MERS Goodwill: what do users think?
User 2020: The prices are jacked up on name brands. The staff are useful as a soup sandwich. Bring your own bags because these folk won’t help you. It’s insulting to even shop here.
Clell Harmon: Great charity shop
Cheryl Watts: You must bring your own bags or boxes. Goodwill should have reusable bags around $1.00 each.
Matt Sloan: Prices are getting ridiculous.
Seth Adams: Always clean and organized
Brandon Lauthern: Amazing management at this location. Despite the nature of what they do, this store is well organized and clean. It is a bright, safe place with lots of good deals to be had.
Bibin Mathew: Great mission
Jeann Roed: Found some great sales., were busy but helpfull.
Susan Green: Clean store, not as organized as other times I've been there . Too expensive. I was looking a receiving blankets that cost 1 dollar at other thrift store and they were 3,67 there. Books were too expensive. Will not go back.
Veronica: Good finds but the cashier was rude, rolled her eyes after I asked for a bag and overall a bad attitude.
Abby John: The store is always Clean and Well Organized! The prices are always good, too!As someone in a Wheelchair, I appreciate how open the store is and very accessible! These adorable shoes were only $3!
May Thompson: Went in yesterday. Place was dead quiet at 7pm. No lights at all in the parking lot. Shopping was nice as only a few people were there. Cashier was pleasant. Noticed the prices gone up in the past year, but still a great place to get used books and play clothing and COSTUMES!
Amy McMann: My favorite Springfield Goodwill, better prices, friendly employees, usually not crowded, good selection.
Martina Spencer: Great store a little high to be a goodwill.
Nicole Brunson: Good prices, just need a better way to organize things.
Christine Kelley: We can always find something at Goodwill. They have lots of stuff that is reasonably priced and in good condition
Jason Roush: Clean and organized.
Kaylee Casteel: They have a great selection of dresses!!!!!
laura benz: Enjoy my visits! Staff are friendly and helpful!
Angela Jordan: Highly disappointed in my recent visit cheaper to buy things brand new I understand prices of everything have gone up but come on Goodwill. Someone had donated squares 12x12 that they had made for a quilt which one would think they would have all been together at One price oh no they were all individually priced. Things that you can buy brand new we're literally higher at that visit I see no reason to go back it's going to place where you can save money when money's tight they just gone up 800% and yes I know they have overhead cost they have monthly bills but maybe they should take that out of the higher up salary instead of taking it out on the fine folks that not only purchase items there but at one point which I want any longer donate to them there's other charities out there the blind thrift store has never failed me nor has thrift haven whom their money goes to the Baptist orphanage and it's all volunteers.
Donald Clark: Bought a few wall hangings. Reasonable priced. We have been there several times. Always new stuff to look at. Will go back again. Staff was very friendly.

Salvation Army Thrift Store: what do users think?
Logan: The store placed a sticker that said “tested” on an electronic item that I bought. Taking them at their word was a mistake because it‘s broken. They lied about their item working and they don’t accept returns for the broken things they deceptively sell as “tested”. If you buy an electronic item here you’ll want to test it yourself before purchasing, as the “tested” sticker evidently cannot be trusted and they do not accept returns. The policy needs updating. If a customer purchases an item the store claims is “tested” but the item doesn’t work properly, they should accept the return.
Jeffrey (turtlesavingclub): Fine thrift experience, it's a larger store. Their men's selection is pretty poor all things considered. I can't give them 5 stars due to it being literally 1/6th the size of their women's section. However it's probably a 5/5 if feminine clothing is your go to...
Martin Gonzalez: Good prices.
Big Al: Great place
Ryan Raber: One of the best Salvation Army Thrift Stores I've ever been to. Great prices, and awesome selection. Will definitely be back.
Caden Newton: So I came into the store this week in search of a specific type of shirt I needed to have so I could start my new job,and I couldn't find one out on the rack and i was in desperate need of one. So I asked to speak to a manager and the management team a young man and a young woman came out and I explained my situation and they went to the back and found the exact type of shirt I needed to start my new job! What a blessing! Thank you so much!
Alex: Love going to thrift stores around Springfield and every time I go out I am always sure to stop by this specific store.Between the staff, cleanliness and amazing it's hard to shop at other thrift stores.
Jackson Alexander: Love this store! It's my favorite in all of Springfield! The prices are amazing and the store is one of the cleanest around! Never disappointed when I come here! All the staff and the management team are very helpful to answer and questions I have! 5 stars!
Denise F.: Found some great deals on kitchen wear and women's clothing. Friendly staff.
Jennifer Ginger: Helpful and polite staff.
Brian Cook: Nice store large 👌 lots of items. Clean merchandise
Angie Romans: Small place. Found some great stuff
Hannah Sproull: I love this place! I visit (probably too) frequently and the place never looks the same, always updating the inventory. Consistently great, fair prices. Found some awesome deals on furniture, of which they usually have a pretty great selection. Some great clothing and book finds, and an awesome vintage sewing machine that I use regularly. Thrift stores in general are hit or miss depending on what you’re on the hunt for, but I never leave this place disappointed. Have been hesitant to leave my raving review because I want to keep this place all to myself, but here it is, so you’re all very welcome.
Sharon Kay: Never know what treasures you'll find here, but can always count on more than fair prices and the ladies working are always happy and laughing. Everything is clean and tidy and look out for hidden gems like my heat gun and 3D pen I found there for just $3 a piece! Phenomenal deal!
Patric Milligan: Went in for the quick tour, I left with the most beautiful glass table. A surprise for me on such a cold day. Lovely, lovely the price made me feel guilty.
Jerome Coonis: Updates needed to stay competitive, they are nowhere near other thrift stores. Friendly atmosphere. Overall good experience.
Samantha Ayala: We had a death in the family and tried to get the Salvation Army to pick up an entire house full of decor, couches, tables, tv stands for donation! and they refused to pick it up because it wasn’t financially worth their while. Salvation Army should be non profit and you are receiving more than enough to cover what it costs you to pick it up. I have never been so disappointed and appalled in my life. Way to serve your community!
Stephanie Gordon: Pretty good thrift store. So often I find good treasures when I go there! I think that they have organized it a little better each time I go!
Zhontay LeDuc: Over priced for stuff that should go into trash as usual
Shawn Fennox: Cheapest in town for clothing and other things. Will negotiate some on certain things too! Super Awesome plus the crew is nice.
Geoff klinkerfuss: As usual, nothing in a regular size.its all size 40+ waste. Did find a belt tho.

Blind Community Thrift Store: what do users think?
Brad Hopkins: Pretty decent thrift store with lots of different things to choose from. With really good prices too. The lady at counter wasn't very friendly at all but oh well that's on her I guess. I enjoy this place and would go back!
May Thompson: Most prices are really amazing, unless you are looking for a coffee table or end table. Then the prices seem crazy high. A nice old chair is $35.00 but a nice old coffee table is $120.00 ? This is old stuff people, not New. Also When you go to the back to make your donations there a long term male employee who is ALWAYS so put out and inconvenienced by your drop off. To the point that I don't donate here anymore. But if you look past that, you really can find some great stuff here.
Dolores Farabi: Affordable price
becky givens: Great place to shop!
Toia Vurns: Best thift store I been to love it
Angela Kappler: All the people volunteering and working with the Council of the blind are wonderful kind and helpful. Everything goes to benefit a great cause and they do their best to make everything clean organized in available for you. The location is great. The prices are wonderful everything today is too expensive. But they keep it moderate for you all the way around a great deal. Check it out, you'll find something you want, you'll find something you need! Be blessed shop on
Diane Watters: Great organization/charity for the community of Springfield, always with a variety of household goods. Great place to donate as well.
David Alexander: Great place with great prices and Very friendly staff!
Belinda Knight: So Many Great Items. Plan to spend hours to see it all. Nice barely worn Clothes, a wall full of some great jewelry. Nice Furniture. You gotta go! Ask about the specials for the day.
Denise F.: The store is clean and fairly well organized. Friendly workers too. They keep up on adding new items. I like that!
KoolKat Kacey39: Friendly staff and love the selection of furniture and knick knacks. Lots of clothes and stuff for everyone. Can't wait to go back and see what's new.
Janis Seaman: Found what I needed and half price day! Yeah
DOit TOit: Great selection and service—UNTIL picking up furniture. We have been promised that our beds would be disassembled and ready to load—twice now… Nothing has been disassembled. We are still waiting, staff here do not feel responsible or inclined to do the job they promised the customer.
Josh Eichholz: The overall availability of items was fairly decent and the prices were okay but the worst part is after leaving the store I feel like I have something crawling on me. And my girlfriend also has the same issue and there's actually little white mite like things that we are finding on our skin.Fairly certain they are infested with either lice or scabies or some kind of skin parasites organism. I first felt a weird bite when I was in the store and now that we are in the car and heading home you can feel them biting even more and they leave little bumps instantly and then they come out of the bumps. We'll add photos soon
Triesa Goodwin: Found new pair of hush puppy dress she's for 6.07
Teacher Of Faith: Hello,My family loves this thrift store! One of my kids are into cosplay and she finds most of her stuff here. My wife looks like a kid in a candy store as she shops. We always have a great experience here. Also, I wanted to say we really like your cashier. She is such a sweet person. We feel really good after leaving store since she's so nice. It's a great ending to a great store. I heard the other cashier call her Tina. I am guessing that is her name. If that's not her name I can message someone a description. I hope she knows that what she does really matter.
Jeanie “Opal” Kelley: Awesomeness 👌
Deborah Cline: I love half price day at the store. The employees there are awesome.
Stephanie Gordon: Love this Thrift Store! They always have nice items and it's for a good cause!
Fey Loxingly: Very friendly staff and the store and products are very clean. Great bargains on clothes and I love the coffee cup selections!!
Zeb Atkins: Just a weird, goofy thrift store; there's nothing not to love--big building, weird layout--all-around bizarre. Big capital "W" for "win" because this is epic.

MERS Goodwill: what do users think?
Jessica Hunt: Really disappointed in the drastic increase in prices here in the last year. It totally defeats the purpose of a “thrift” store in my opinion. Other stores around town have not increased their prices nearly as drastically. Many items here are marked even higher than what you could buy them new for at the store where they originated from.
Michael B: Great store, friendly people. Post their donation hours store closes at eight but donations close at six.
Andrew Childress: Whoever the new manager is is a lunatic. 30 dollars for Sonoma brand shoes. 22 dollars for used mall brand jeans at best. The entire store is priced 60-80% above what a thrift store should be. Better off shopping at tj Maxx and getting new
Nomad One2222: Good selection
Mary Ferrell: They just took out their dressing rooms. This is HUGELY inconvenient for those of us who would drive a long distance in order to make a return. I will find another place to shop.
Kira McCoy: Great setup! Nice customer service!
Plissken “The Fog” MacReady: Apparently, whoever prices their items is unaware that they were not produced by Goodwill. Goodwill received them for free. Prices are too high! Price the items to sell, not sit on the shelves. If I wanted to pay full or almost full price, I'd just go buy it new at a regular store!
Elaine Sims: Staff always friendly and helpful! Store always clean
Allen Edenburn: Worse Goodwill, I've been into to shop. They don't have the sizes on anything, only med or large. Pants are not med or large. Their sizes are w32 lth30 or 42/30, not med or large. They also don't bag you stuff like the rest, and they don't have a fitting room like the other. The one woman stated it's because of covid, which I find funny that people still pansies of a man made virus.
Jessica Cowin: Busy today.
Veronica: Good customer service and pretty organized
susan sanches: I will not donate anymore to good will they have became way too expensive $12 sweaters I rather buy from Ross!
charo davis: A clean organized store. I always find good deals
eydie sanders: Up until recently, I loved Goodwill. However, most of their prices on clothing has nearly doubled. They went from $4.79 to$8.12 for tops and the prices for other clothing is even worse. Used bras for 9 dollars or more, jeans for 15 to 20 dollars and shoes as high as 40 dollars. Remember, this stuff is used. Also, it's all donated to them. You can do better at Ross,Marshall's, T.J.Maxx,and Walmart. And their's is new. What happened?
Mike T: Very good place to find great deals on clothing!
Fin Kename: Always something new to discover. They do a good job and are very friendly.
Patty Denham: Great place for clothes and shoes
Mike Jordan: Tshirts for almost 9 dollars? You do know you’re a thrift store right? Highest prices I have seen at any thrift stores across the country TO INCLUDE OTHER GOODWILLS
Amy McMann: Good selection, trying to compete with Red Racks on their prices. Clothes, thankfully, are generally priced all the same which is a great price but shoes and randomly throughout something is marked high. Housewares can be sporadically priced ridiculously high. I like the other Goodwill in Springfield better.
Mitch Letterman: I tried to buy a shirt, but it cost a kidney.
Glenn Frohn: Lots of bargains

Red Racks DAV Thrift Store: what do users think?
Landon Hoffman: If I could leave no stars I would.Everytime I go in this store prices are CRAZY high well over retail. This jacket was bought from the store for $29 and then y’all price it for $39 which is $10 higher than retail. That’s wrong! That’s just one of the items. Most clothing items are priced well over what they go for. I have never seen “thrift store” prices so high. That’s unethical charging people more than in the retail store. I will do my best to escalate this as much as possible. That’s so wrong. Let me know if you wanna talk about the worker I saw looking up each item before she priced them. A whole clothing rack looking each one up and pricing items based of internet prices. This store is a SCAM
Anxiousvariable: It has become disgustingly expensive for the used items they are trying to sell. It's not worth it to me anymore to waste time looking around. How disappointing.
Lillian Jameson: Prices were too high, considering that they receive stuff for free. There were bugs crawling all over the floor.
J M: Staff is friendly, racks are full, regular sales, no dressing room, returns are for exchange only.
Amanda Elaine Standifer: This store is....slightly worse than just okay. The decorations are great. It's clean and well organized, and for the most part, the staff is friendly. They have everything from formal wear to health equipment. This kept them from getting one star. The store had a big sign out front that said "50% off sale today." This lady was adamant that it was the entire store. The sign didn't specify one way or the other. Granted, the lady should have stopped when she was corrected, but the staff member was being very condescending and rude to her (it happened back by the dishes' aisle). It escalated pretty quickly, and I heard several people arguing the same point (that the sign said 50% off "everything") when they were at the register--the sign does not say "everything," but it's definitely implied! The lady in line in front of us bought a pair of shoes and a purse, and the cashier put the shoes in the purse and handed it back. When she went to leave a guy working there chased her down and took the purse, searched it, and told her she was stealing a clip that was attached to it (which was there when the cashier handed it back). The prices are insane--some items are high end and aren't poorly priced, but most things have significant wear and tear and are still at least half (or more) of the new prices, usually because of brand. They had a bra for $9.99 with the retail tag still attached: retail price was $6.99. Parking is limited (we had to park at the restaurant next door), and the visit wasn't really worth the walk.
Jeffrey (turtlesavingclub): Decent thrift store! The staff was friendly enough. Like most thrift stores it is difficult to find things in the most common men's sizes. It's large, clean, and there is a lot of variety. Worth a look if you are thrifting.
Lesley Lowery: These prices are ridiculous. You can get brand new clothes at Walmart for less than the prices at this red rack's DAV thrift store.
Sabrina McAninch: Great selection of clothes. Wide variety of household items
Marc Morrell: Great organized store to find good quality used items.
Cindy Byers: The store at N Glenstone had quite a few Chief's shirts, jackets, sweat pants, hoodies
Marvin Parnell: Disappointed their pricing has gotten crazy. Today I found 3 items priced higher than brand new online. Shame really used to love this particular red racks.
Angela Vose: PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS! And the money doesn't REALLY go to disabled vets. Did anyone notice how they had to rebrand from DAV to Red Racks? You know WHY? BECAUSE LESS THAN 2% OF THE PROCEEDS GOES TO THEM. And over half of what you're donating either gets shipped off or thrown away (this from a friend who used to be in management there). I stopped supporting these people a long time ago. 40 bucks for a torn and stained shirt?! Are you OUT OF YOUR MIND?! Donate to Salvation Army instead. At least those proceeds actually go to helping people.
deborah harrington-laatz: I love that place I can always find a treasure!
Melissa Shoemaker: It is ridiculous the prices you have jacked everything up too. This place receives donations from good people and you all try to sell it like it is brand new. I can buy NEW Christmas lights cheaper at Walmart than what you all sell them for and they are guaranteed to work. I was shopping here to help out the vets and everyone else you help but your prices are crazy for used items.
Tara Ellis: I will no longer shop here or donate here. Everything is overpriced. I don't care if it's "vintage", these prices are not justified.
Kimber Jennings: First time I had been in there in a while. I know why there prices are too high.
danny Holdren: These "thrift stores" are turning into scams! Overpriced junk! No return policy! They want $200 for a coat? Just ridiculous! You all think your some sort of retail shop! I wonder if you all pay taxes? You're screwing veterans, too!
Serenity Burge: Clothing wise $10 is average for a single piece. You can decide if that’s fair to you. Personally that’s not my thrifting budget.
Lauren Mingus: The employees are so friendly and always willing to help in any way. They definitely brighten my days on a regular basis!
Kathleen Hansen: Went in looked for my size 👖 jeans bought 3 pair like new under $28.00!! 🤩
Cassandra Benna: Everything was extremely overpriced.

Samuel Miller: Great service!
kenny james: everything is to high.its used..I went to Sam's and bought it new cheaper..get a clue guys
Maffew L: Red racks is owned and operated by disabled American veterans. All this about the money not going to them is absolutely not true. I know for an absolute fact that all of the money made that is not used to run the business goes to the disabled American veterans. For a matter of fact anything that they get donated thats clothes that they deem unsellable gets sent to clothing by the pound to give clothes to people in need. Shoes gets donated to a program to give shoes to people in need all over the world. With the cost to pay an employee going up how it is obviously prices have to increase. I'm not saying there arent things that are over priced but that's anywhere you go. They also cant put anything on the floor that is less then 2.99. Spread facts not misinformation.
Cherry: The prices are INSANELY overpriced!!!
Lenne Mahan: It's gotten wy too over priced, but the employees do a great job of decorating
PF Bilyeu: Man have things really gone up in the DAV thrift stores or should I say have gotten OVERPRICED!!$10 for an old use sweater is just RIDICULOUS!!! Guess my thrift storing days are over!
Sarah Igartua: Very overpriced for a thrift store- items priced more than purchasing new in several items I saw. Things grouped together with high $ for all that didn’t make sense
dannette libbee: Found some bargins. Check out gal was super nice and helpful!
Cooper Fritz: Smells weird
Suzanne Putman: The store is set up well, but seeing 1,200.00 for a bed, no mattress, even a nice one seemed crazy high. Small appliances were new store prices. Only checked a few clothing prices and laughed as I left the store empty handed.
Jill Miner: Great deals
Kevin MonkMas Turner (Go Forth Projects): For a thrift store they sure have high prices. I found a few things that were really cheap at Walmart.
Lou Cruz: Being a disabled vet, I’m grateful places like Red Racks exist. An employee told me that a portion of proceeds help disabled vets unable to attend doctor appointments and other necessities. Plus, they give vets healthy discounts on everything. One review complained that prices were too high. Perhaps they are — especially for people of humble means — but I’ve seen several expensive items priced at pennies on the dollar. We literally bought a quality printer/scanner/fax machine for about $19 (before the discount). It is still fully functional. And when it breaks (which it eventually will), I’ll just buy another cheap one. Yeah…my wife and I love Red Racks.
Lily CPA: Prices are insane. I don’t even bother stopping in to look anymore. Other, much more reasonable thrift stores get my business.
Jennifer Cooley: Do not donate your items here. Loyal customer of Red Racks/DAV for nearly 2 decades. I was appalled to overhear a young employee talking about how their manager would rather sit a couch by the trash can than allow a customer to get a couch on sale for $20. Everything has gotten so overpriced and they say they can’t afford to give items away any more. I’ve literally heard employees say that to my face. They are receiving DONATED items and they can’t afford to give them away? Better serve your community and treat yourself like the thrift store you are. You aren’t a vintage shop.If you want to claim that then take all the hard work vintage sellers do like repairing, restoring and cleaning your items and then let’s talk.
Nate Coker: Prices are insane
verawebbe: super overpriced! they were asking 10 dollars for a half used DOLLAR tree perfume. honestly if ur looking for good deals go anywhere but this overpriced excuse of a thrift store.
christine sullivan: Love Sundays! Sale day!
Kennedy Butler: Overpriced for donated items. Can't even be bothered to see the blatant tag at the bottom and are attempting to charge TWICE the original value, for a donated item. I will never shop at another Red Racks again.
