Mason Musick: I had gone in for a quote and went back in to start the process based on friends experiences with Cornerstone being great but my experience was not the same. I should have asked for Marshall based on my friends review. I have worked not as a jeweler but in jewelry before so I do know a few things about the process and what all is possible. I worked with Sonia and she seemed condescending in her tone to me and didn't see the whole picture of what I wanted to do and seemed like she didn't want to either. Under the guise of saving me money, it seemed she just kept adding additional things since it would not be done all at one time but really if she wanted to do that, we would have worked out the plan for the final product and it would have been a multi-visit process based on the date of my 10yr anniversary surprise, so I didn't pay this additional cost here and then the same cost on the next visit and the same on the next visit... there was a way to get it all done but we didn't get there. She also didn't ask when I needed it by, it was just a statement of - we are taking jobs for June. I didn't feel comfortable to continue the process. They aren't hurting for my business and I'm ok with that. I will own that I left in a little of a huff and was abrupt at the end, due to being frustrated and undervalued.

He worked with me for 7 months trying to get the ring as perfect as we could get it. I was very nit picky with the details of the ring and every time I would ask for minor adjustments, Billy would continue to work on the ring and never once got annoyed by how picky I was being. He acted like he was genuinely happy to make the adjustments. By the time that we finished with the ring it was way better than I ever could have imagined and was better than perfect. She could not wait to show it off and is constantly looking at it and telling me how much she loves it.Billy gave me a quote the first time I went in and even though the price of diamonds and gold had increased in the 7 months we were working on the ring, Billy honored the quote he gave me on day 1. They outsourced it to a private jewelry repair man which they couldn't disclose. It was fine. Not too long after breaks again. I take it in.. He acted empathetic and looked it over said he'd get it to the repair guy again. This time I picked it up. Wife says that looks like a different chain. I said it's not. Then I put it over my head. You need a 24 inch chain to do that. Took it to endless jewelry and they told me it's hollow gold. Mine was solid and 22 inches and could not fit over my head... he said that was my chain.. so robbery is the legal term I made clear to him it was not mine with the evidence and he said I was again mistaken. They walked her right up to the counter and didn’t give her a pager. She had her ring cleaned and checked while I was still waiting with a pager. I waited a while longer and eventually someone paged me to come up to get my ring cleaned. They need a better process and it should be first come first serve. People should be treated equally.

I took my husband's grandmother ring there to ask about what kind of material was made of, and they said silver. I asked them if it could be cleaned, and they said yes. So, I trusted them to repolish the ring, and guess what? It was plated silver, so the layer of silver came out when they repolished it. The ring looks really bad now, and on top of that it was my husband's grandmother special ring. I am really disappointed.
