Mercy Clinic Cancer and Hematology - Chub O'Reilly Cancer Center: what do users think?
Catherine Alderman: My mother was diagnosed with cancer and referred to Mercy. They wanted to schedule a consultation a month later. Frankly, that is disgusting enough considering cancer can metastasize at unpredictable rates (see the other review stating the same with tragic outcome). Beyond that delay, and being told it could potentially be months before my mother had the surgery she needed, the nurse, Stephanie, has the bedside manner of a mouldering potato. My mother said, "I can't wait that long, I have cancer." Stephanie's reply? "Everyone here has cancer!" Indeed, I'm sure they do considering how long it takes Mercy to treat them. A little insight, my mother spent years as an oncology nurse so she knows the ins and outs of this disease, treatments, and patient care. Where we are from, in the hospitals she worked, when a patient came in and was diagnosed they had consultation within hours, not months. If you can't keep up, refer people to a place that can, don't just haphazardly brush them off as dime-a-dozen. Their lives matter to other people, even if they don't to your staff. I strongly suggest going elsewhere for treatment. My mother has opted to take the risk of having a doctor who is not an oncologist remove the diseased organ and follow up with scans elsewhere following recovery so she can get care faster. Needless to say, she has no further interest in even considering this facility. Saint Louis might be a trip, but in the long run it's worth it. Good luck to all who are reading this as it's a strong indicator you or someone you know is dealing with this scary diagnosis. Stay strong, be your own advocate.
Christina L: Great group of Drs and staff. The "coffee" area is good too.
D Young: Awesome group of people
Christiane Parker: felt like doctor here was putting off my pain and when i went to a different doctor I got different answers and results smh Thank God I got a second opinion
Randi Heard: Dr. Narmala saw my husband in Dec. for renal cancer. We were concerned about all the delays in seeing the Urologist he recommended, the Pulmonolgist, etc. He assured us that it was a very slow growing cancer and delays of several weeks would not make any difference. He countinued to be weak and had difficulty breathing and Dr. Narmala just told us to go to the ER when we needed to. He ordered fluids and said the weakness was caused by his anemia. The urologist determined he could not operate on the tumor due to the size of it and Dr. Narmala suggested Barnes or KU. We went to KU where it was found that the tumor had grown into his diaphram, lower intestine, and brain. It was determined to be a very fast growing cancer and the Oncologist team said that given his symptoms more testing should have been done despite the fact that this is typically a slow growing cancer. We have lost all faith in this Doctor and the entire Mercy system.
Amy Schoonover: Mother-n- law had stage 4 lung cancer aggressive great staff and treatment in remission now love the doctors and staff
Chandra Martinez: The treatment that was pushed on my dad was the worst decision ever. Dr B did not tell my dad the truth about the treatment will kill u before the tumor. My dads whole body shut down with no real recovery and the tumor was still enlarged after his treatments. He did not even finish a full 2 weeks. Would never recommend this place to anyone. And the office never called to check on him. Other options for treatments!

Arnel Alagueña: great
Tam Jon: I had my very 1st mammogram done and was told I needed to come back to get an ultrasound done so I came in had that done and then they done a total of 4 Ultrasounds and 3 mammograms I was then told I needed to come back to get a biopsy they cleared the right breast the left breast there was a Spot that was 3 mm in size They had a concern About. After 2 days I got my results and thank the Lord I was clear but I want to say the ladies in this office the doctor in this office they are all the nicest people I could have ever ran across I will continue to go there for the rest of my days and I will happily have my mammograms done every year it is painless and they hold your hand the entire way I never not one time felt uncomfortable They were so caring and gentle thoughtful friendly and truthful. And they don't make you feel like you are a burden. Thank you all
Julie Wooten: Beautiful facility and everyone was really nice.
Elizabeth Polk: Best news I've ever gotten. Hulston cancer center is opening a clinic n lebanon mo. What a blessing that a be. Ty Jesus. I'll be able to make all my appointments
Coolbeans 1960: I give them five stars for their compassion towards patients. A big thank you to the staff for standing by patients like me✌️💛💪
S S: My doctor is here and i also do my chemo here. Everyone is so friendly and they treat me very well while doing my treatments.
Michael Miller: Unusual experience. Staff were kind, but regimental in processing patients. It was a "herding" methodology. Dr appeared to listen, but feedback showed otherwise. He was also very kind. I arrived a half hour early to be seen an hour after scheduled appointment. Office was fairly empty upon arrival, but packed upon departure. I have no "active" problems. My heart goes out to those going through the same process, but with other things to handle. I will return. My hope is that my words are beneficial not destructive.
Halley Schultz: I highly recommend this place! The staff are caring and all sweet. A big shout out to Kim, Mandy, Robert, Brooke and our doctors!
Jennifer Kimmel: Wonderful hospital, took very good care of my sis!!
ARBORISTA Edgar Garcia Abad: Nice place, Dr. Welaya is very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, etc. His staff is excellent. The people from the second floor are awesome too, the nurses make this process a lot easier by being super friendly, helpful, careful, caring, etc. They are great! The building is clean, big and the 4 elevators make it faster to get to the floors 😊
Ken Uresh: Facility is understaffed resulting in delays with appointments. Although the staff is very cordial and helpful.
Barbara Hicks: Dr Barry Farber, urologist, is on 3rd floor and we highly recommend him.
Janie Derby: Friendly caring staff, lousy parking
dixie dill: The best care one could ever receive. I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 2001...and I'm still here because of the center and people like Dr. William Cunningham!
Julie Goss-Mendenhall: The parking garage was great. However walking from the garage into the center you have to go thru a partially covered walkway. I had to walk past two gentlemen sitting and smoking cigarettes in the walkway. Doesn't make sense that smoking is allowed anywhere near a cancer treatment facility. Especially an entrance.
Charlene Winfiel: Excellent care at all levels. This is a fine medical facility. Kind personnel. Volunteers are active here as well.
Donna Copeland: covered parking and easy building access
Darrell Downing: Clean,excellent receptionist
Rene Johnson: Cancer treatment center. Beast treatment i have had for an illness.
Tammy Mcguire: Saved my husband's Life! Wonderful Doctors & Pleasant

Dr. Srikant Nannapaneni, MD: what do users think?
Cynthia Anderson: We are going to miss this doc!
Susan Gajdos: He is a wonderful doctor.. he gets to the point,, explains everything so easy. I'M absolutely sick he is leaving the clinic..
Kandy Leamon: Excellent Dr and nurses. Couldn't hope for any better.
Michael Ricketson: My mother, Mary, has been living with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer for two years! Since we came back to Springfield, Dr. Nannapaneni has been the greatest. He paid attention to my concerns for my mother, and addressed them with his own concerns. He remembers me each month as we come back for her treatments and addresses me personally. He shows concern for the whole family and not just the patient. His concern is for Mom's quality of life. And that is the most important thing to all of of us. I'd buy this man a drink out of the hospital!! Thank you, Dr. Srikant!!!!
