Even if you know that it's the best time to get your brand in sync with your vision, taking an outside perspective is tough. Our workshops with the folks at Longitude were invaluable in helping us think critically about our own assumptions, focus on the core of our values and distill our overall efforts into a cohesive strategy. From that strategy, they crafted a unified brand library with a logo that echoed the brand we wanted to portray. Melissa Troutt: Longitude Branding has been a godsend for my startup. I contacted Dustin, the founder, in the relatively early stages of planning. To start, I needed a logo and graphic design for a 10 x 10 pop-up tent that would be an organic drink vendor for local festivals and events. I had hardly settled on a name let alone a product offering and, still, Dustin was able to deliver in spades. My vendor booth is called Juicebox and we've designed it to look a bit like a juice box. I go to market in July 2017. It's May now and I have been accepted into every event I've applied to and people seem enthusiastic to have me. Several have said that I will have the coolest looking food booth around. Not only is Dustin's creative sense outstanding, he works fast, he's professional, kind, and easy to work with. Ella Bookman: The templates are great, we loved that part of the product. One of the big drawbacks for us was the length of time the process took—it was almost a month to get the cards. So set longer time expectations. I genuinely thought a week could get us at least to the printing stage. Nope. Then the print job itself isn't very high quality, the letters aren't crisp or clear and it has a funny watermark looking spot where a gradient began. We can print the same template at Office Depot and not get that watermark look though, so it's just the printing. The paper quality is nice as is the finish, but overall we are disappointed in the product. Communication was also a bit slow. We expected a fair bit more for the price.
