Case: Great looking store, wide selection, helpful employees
Michael Stevens: Great store with a good collection of tabletop and board games... guy at the front is nice and knowledgeable, plus he is willing to chat! Used games had a good selection of fun games for a cheap price.
Larry Manns: The manager has taken time to help explain rules, how different models work and better ways to put them together multiple times, he is BEYOND helpful. The regulars there are incredible too, incredibly friendly and helpful folks who were all quick to help me with my begginer questions. This store is great!
John Thaemlitz: I went to Meta Games for pinball, but I found a very impressive community. Many types of games (electric, board, etc) and an equal number of groups interested in them. Really exciting to see a diverse community with pods of similar interests.
Mystyqua isaRockstar: Awesome game shop
Steven Izquierdo: Great place to pick up TCG accessories or wargaming models. Nice clean & large play space in the rear of the store. The pinball machines can be a little loud when in use if you're sitting near them. Probably gets very lively during events.

Nick C.: 3 out of the 9 pinball machines were down; but the ones that worked were in good shape. Love Monster Bash and Iron Man. Lots of space for tabletop games and a great selection in the store to buy. The pictures are not even 20% of what they have available.
Lyle Taffar: Awesome place for a man of my hobbies, catered to far more niche activities than I had expected. Great staff, great selection of goods, great and welcoming atmosphere. Will become a regular here shortly.

Ambrosia Snoitan: As a nerd I absolutely loved this place. They carry stuff for table top games such as dungeons and dragons. They also have a mini arcade in the back and that was super cool.
Adam Brehob: Really great place, maybe one of the best gaming/card/collectible shops in the area. The staff is almost always kind, courteous, and speedy, and their kiosks are excellent for compiling orders of individual trading cards. If you are a collector of gaming cards or miniatures, I highly recommend you check out their calendar for events to visit or even just to do some light shopping - their competitive prices and friendly faces are sure to be a welcome sight!

Daved Gott: I used to have great service through all store locations in town. It's been sliding throughout the years. I pre-ordered Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and the Link Amiibo months ago and paid in full. Never received a call for either of them when they finally released. Luckily, I made it up there to grab the game but forgot I had pre-ordered the Amiibo a couple of days after release. Went back the next day to grab the Amiibo and they said they didn't have one at any Springfield location. Normally, I wouldn't hold policy against a company but I definitely received no call when they came in and no call before they sold my PAID IN FULL Amiibo a couple of days after it came in. The explanation I got was that the attending employee "didn't make the phone calls." I spend quite a bit of money through GameStop, as they were my primary. They're nowy last resort and I'll just start buying elsewhere online 🤷♂️ they were more than willing to help me with my refund though, so it could've been worse, I suppose.
CNC Shredder: Never have I encountered such a rude hateful employee at a GameStop store. I wasn't even there all but five minutes and I could tell this person did not want to do their job. Smoking a cigarette outside the front doors when I walked up, I politely smiled and said hello and employee looking very put off that they had to go back into the store. Not a word was said to me not so much as a hello or welcome. I noticed the phone ring and instead of answering it the employee just hung up without answering. I could go on with a couple of more things but overall a very terrible service and again I wasn't even in there for 5 minutes. I've always enjoyed going to this store but I don't think I will be back after today. There's a couple more GameStops in town that are just fine. Sorry to be an inconvenience as a customer walking into your store
Katelyn Hayter: The Manager here is AMAZING!!! I WAS so worried about getting a gift for my daughter. I called the store at 10am and he said they would help me. I got there After 5pm and HE WAS STILL THERE and he stayed over to make sure we got everything, including putting on a screen protector for us! Guys he's Awesome and so were all the other employees. One of my favorite places to go because of the customer service ❤️

Robert Wilson: The worst customer service experience I’ve had in a really long time. The assistant manager named Austin was completely unprofessional. They made the mistake of not adding in my game pro rewards and when I called him out on it, he insisted that I shouldn’t be upset about them keeping my 10 dollar reward. I earned that reward. Then he tried to excuse his poor behavior by saying I should be nicer because he’s had a bad day…completely not understanding that he escalated the situation by not trying or wanting to fix the mistake that was made on his store’s behalf. I was met with nothing but the poorest of the poor attitude from the moment he was asked to assist with the situation by another employee who was very professional and actually tried and did remedy the situation. He should be stripped of his job title and fired while she should take his spot. Who cares if you know about being an assistant manager when you don’t have a clue about exceptional customer service.
Arlen Adams: we talked to them on the phone and wanted to order a game but they did not tell us that we had to come in to the store and place the order. I am not very pleased.

Now it's more of a collector's shop that charges way too much and pays way too little. Used to be one of the stops that always made with my kids. Now I stop in just to see how outrageous they've gotten.

Be he answered them all and I was a great visit. They had a great supply of older and newer games, but no older systems before ps4, xbox360. But we got a few of the Nintendo Switch games for some fun family time. Thanks gamestop guy😉!

Chris Westergaard: Genuinely soured experience. Wanted to attend a midnight release. I have little experience doing it so I asked the cashier (tall blond ponytail male) about when to show up and what events were happening. He only said "Show up whenever, it didn't matter". When I arrived before 11, I found out that there was a raffle for prizes and freebies. The raffle tickets were given when prepaying for the game (I was never given one nor was I the only one)I also found out that merch for the game was also being sold but when it was my turn to pick up the game I prepared, I asked the cashier (blon ponytail again) , he gave me a blunt "No." and that was the end of it. I can understand that the line was long or if the registers were closed, but it was his lack of communication or explanation of what was happening that soured the experience. Had I known an inkling more than I could show up whenever I would had been happy to participated and bought some extra merchandise from the store.I have had better experiences in the past however if future visits have the same level of indifferent sloppiness, I will have to reconsider.

E Johnson: Second time I bought from this place my orders were canceled and refunded without any communication at all. When I attempted follow up emails go on answered I’m done with this place. Plenty other options out there than to have to deal with this lack of customer service.
Code: Decent board game selection and the owner is very friendly! Limited selection of D&D supplies, but what he has (dice, mats, trays, etc) is way cheaper than most places.Plus you can rent board games!
Haley Sales: Went in for the first time on 3-25 the two gentlemen working were very friendly and accommodating. I will be back with my son to pick out some legos!
Leondra Gonzalez: Ordered a game DLC from them for my husband's birthday. The day it was supposed to arrive, they cancelled the order and didn't tell me why. When I emailed them, they said it ran out if stock. Not sure why I'm finding this out 24 hours before it's supposed to be at my doorstep. May be a great for in person stuff, but if you plan to order from them online, would not recommend.

Sapp Sabotage: They had a free build event this weekend and it was awesome. A great way to let people know you exist! It was fun and we got to take home some cute lil bases the kids built on! They mostly loved the assortment to pick and choose what to put together. We will be back for renting games as I’ve seen that they do that as well

Fawn Warner-Rechkemmer: This locally owned shop is unique to the area with its large selection of board games and Lego kits. They also rent board games by the week! You can buy lego pieces a la carte, filling a small bin for $7 or a large bin for $12, with pieces that you pick yourself from containers sorted by color or type. The gentleman working there when we visited was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Austin Rhymer: This is a great place. At the time of writing you can rent one of a large selection of games for a week for $5. When you bring it back you can choose to purchase the game minus the rental fee. All the games are in great shape. Prices are competitive, please support local businesses.

Chris: Man I am not a corporate game store guy at all but I have to admit this location has impressed me. Most of the time when you go into a GameStop you get the same rude employee who hates their life and just works for the discount or whatever. This location is totally different. The GM is super friendly along with all of his staff. Always happy to chat about whatever whether it's video games, cards or collectables. Highly recommend if you must go to the dreaded corporate America store you go to this one.
