Not knowing if it was the same manager but the review snapped a memory back into my thoughts of how I was rudely treated at that same store.I quit going to your store a few years ago. I wanted to purchase a small Halcyon pill box you had on display. I have never been accused of thievery of any type. The treatment I received that day from your manager, no one should be subjected to.The Halcyon Pill Box was in a locked case. I could see the price, I asked to see it and she, the manager, retrieved the pill box, herself, to let me inspect it. I said I would purchase it. When checking out, she, the manager, looked at the price, said it was marked wrong and would not honor the price shown. She could not have been more rude during the checkout after I questioned why she would not honor the marked price. She said, (and rudeness and dirty looks from her didn’t help), “because she didn’t have to”. That woman needed retraining then, and apparently, if it’s the same person, still could use some retraining. Why is she there? I certainly do not ever intend to venture back to your store to find out.I value my money, and to whom I like to spend it with. bella belle: Bare shelves! In these times I understand there being an inventory dip - but unfortunately this store's lack of inventory reminded me of a "going out of business" sale. They do have signs up all over the store saying their buyers are trying to restock their stores --- buuuttt I would say the shelves were at least 65% empty and they are even moving merchandise around trying to make it look fuller - ie: bath stuff where the aisle says food and no food (jams) in stock. I will try again when the store has been stocked.

They have an unscrupulous warehouse crew and pass the damaged product off the floor as new and commit insurance fraud on our delivery company's insurance.Even your own clients are saying it that this caused by your store and that our delivery teams are excellent. We have pictures to prove the items came from the warehouse damaged.The owner has committed theft of services towards our business for the purpose of lining his own pockets. Despicable and unclothe behavior.

I ordered a bedroom suit last December was told when I ordered it I would have it in October it’s December and I still do not have it… no compensation no offer of free delivery and no date yet as to when I will get it for sure I am NOT happy doubt I’ll buy here again! Let them shop and if they're interested they'll wave you over but don't follow them around, it's creepy.

Filed a claim online for a tear in the seam, claims department said it was still under warranty and I needed to contact weekends only. Called them today, Springfield store has closed down and has dissolved their warranty department and the technician has left. Manufacturer is not willing to help. Weekends Only is not willing to help. Stuck with a hole in the seam of my cushion for a year, and hopefully can file a claim a year from September…

Hailey Mcdowell: I am not surprised this place is going out of business. I first purchased a couch here earlier this year for our upstairs living room. Came to pick it up with my truck and trailer on the date I was told it would be ready. Upon arrival I was told only half the order was in and I would have to come back. I live pretty far out of town so I was a little irritated but ended up coming back a couple weeks later and picked it up. Within a couple months the upstairs couch, which had hardly been used, already had two seems completely torn all the way across. I called about getting the couch fixed and was told we could only get in store credit for the couch and that specific couch was out of stock. So we decided to replace the couch with a couple recliners on in store credit. We talked to a store associate who assured us we could pay for delivery and the store would deliver our new furniture while picking up our old furniture simultaneously. So we paid the $180 delivery fee. The delivery date came and went and nobody arrived. We called to inquire about our furniture and we’re told the store no longer offered delivery even though we had already paid the delivery fee. Long story short we ended up exchanging the old furniture ourselves. We had to call an off site location about getting a refund for the delivery charge. We were initially told there was no record of us paying for delivery but luckily we had our bank statement and receipt saying other wise. We finally were told it will take up to 30 business days to get the money put back on our card. Like every business, this place has some good employees and some totally incompetent employees. I can’t say I’m surprised they’re going out of business. I also won’t be surprised if we don’t end up getting our refund. My advice, don’t shop here.UPDATE: it’s been 20 days and I still have not been refunded the $180 delivery fee I was charged. I called today and was told the manager is out of the office and I might get my refund by early February.UPDATE: we’re a week in to February. I called again and was told our refund should be in the “next batch.”

Not only did it arrive damaged, but they sent me the wrong sectional, they put pieces from 2 different sectionals and called it a day. The top matches, but the connecting brackets underneath it does not. Had to pay to get that fixed. And now, they are going out of business, and their warranty will no longer be valid..........

The craftmanship of all of the pieces we have bought far excels anything from the other stores in the area.In Springfield, Aaron and Donna are great to work with and gave us plenty of room to look around the store and there was no pressure to buy or a push to certain items. I highly recommend stopping by and asking for either of them if you are looking for new furniture. We eventually found exactly what we wanted for some bedroom side chairs that were surprisingly in stock with the fabric we wanted.One thing to note is that if you will be ordering, the wait is 8 to 16 weeks depending on the style and fabric you choose, but the wait is well worth the quality of the furniture.

Max Power: My experience with lay-z-boy in Springfield, I dealt with a knowledgeable and polite salesman and delivery guy but still they were unable to deliver. Monday, stopped in to the showroom and bought a new recliner, in stock I was told, and would be delivered Thursday. Perfect, re-arranged furniture to prepare for delivery, well, they delivered the wrong chair. But I was assured that my recliner was in stock and they would be out with it as soon as possible. Phone call on Friday, no recliner for me, back ordered until sometime in August. Got CC refund today. My invoice included a ‘complete a google review for a chance to win $500’, do I have a chance ? Heheh. Seriously aggravating, the one thing I don’t have to spare is time, and if they just told me to begin with that they did not have the recliner I was looking for in stock, that would have been fine.

Jessica Wallace: Customer Service! We were promptly greeted by the floor manager and were checked on frequently. We were permitted to look freely without any "sales pressure", but were always able to easily ask questions. I was shown how to operate the various functions of the recliners, as well as shown possible color combinations. Brian went above and beyond and explained everything from removal of sofa legs to financing options. They also have amazing sales. Definitely recommend La-Z-Boy in Springfield, Mo!

When we came back the next week he remembered me and was just as helpful. We bought 2 couches and 2 recliners. John Dandurand: I had my first shopping experience at AtHome today and will not be shopping here again.I purchased RF Wall Grid Storage (UPC: 789112044118) on 6/2/2023.Upon purchase and preparation for installation, I learned that 2 brackets right brackets were missing. I had received 4 of the left brackets same in the box; there were to be two left and two right per the instructions. I returned the item and prepared to purchase another one with the correct parts.Prior to second purchase I asked to check the item to ensure the correct pieces were there with the checker who was very kind and helpful. Upon opening, the exact same item had 3 left brackets and one right bracket. This confirms a systemic packaging issue.The manager, Joe, was called over to see if we could check another box and he declined to do so.So, it would seem that he would rather sell a defective product to the next customer rather than ensure that the product was correctly packaged (and I was prepared to purchase this item again if another box had the correct parts).Customers beware - the manager at this store is likely knowingly facilitating the sale of defective items and would rather do this than make it right.

Some no price at all just white labels covering them.

Heather Leverich: Just had a very frustrating interaction at this store. I purchased items using my rewards points and now when I want to return them they will not refund me for the full purchase amount. It won't refund my reward credits and they won't refund the cash. They only will refund a tiny portion of I purchase that I actually spent cash on. Instead of just overriding the price and giving me a refund for the two items I was trying to return with a receipt within the return deadline, they refuse to and gave me an email to complain to. There's no phone number to call. Every time I try to use my reward points here I run into some issue. No one ever notified me that there's a policy I can't have my reward points refunded after I purchase something and in fact on my receipt it said I could have hassle-free receipt list returns. The manager they brought to speak with me was not at all accommodating and did not try to help. I will be emailing and hopefully finding some help with my issue and I will be looking for a different credit card to use for rewards because this is the last straw for me. Every time I try to use the rewards the workers don't know how to use the reward points and they try to tell me I can only use one reward point certificate for transaction even though that's not true. I've previously returned things I've purchased with reward points and I was refunded the full amount. I'm not sure why today was so different all of a sudden.Also, for anyone else in need of customer service at at home store, you can quickly Google in 3 seconds and find the customer service number. My husband did it in the parking lot. I'm not sure why that was impossible for the manager to do while I was in the store.I noticed the response from the business suggesting I contact customer service for assistance with my issue. Believe I called an emailed repeatedly and no one in customer service did anything to help me. So I guess don't buy anything with your rewards points unless you are 100% certain you won't want to return your items.
