Kathy Bruxvoort: My 1st & ONLY time I've been there and I received "spoiled" milk 🥛 that was ready to "out date ' within 3 days, but had to throw it out because it was rancid! Why bother being open if you can't Serve us poor folk with decent, SAFE food? It's not even worth getting outa bed for! And the senior citizen gentleman was a real Grouch to people. Maybe it's time to take a break?

Sharon Dills: Usually very kind and generous. I’m in a wheelchair and crippled with a broken back. They have always allowed my health care aid to come get my food so long as she brings a piece of mail, a letter from me and proof of residency. Today I was told they have ramps and to figure it out. Very unkind (whom ever I spoke to on the phone). Made me feel like I’m worthless and not worth anything. The only one that’s ever treated me like a human just as good as him is Tim. The well of life should show a little more compassion, one day they may be the one sitting in a wheelchair chair hoping for food. It’s hard enough to live in conditions where you must ‘beg’ for food so to be treated badly on top of it is just unkind. Apparently not a Christian owned facility.

Tifany Grant: I've worked 30 years in the grocery business treating everyday as though I was managing my time at work in the community pantry. That was how I saw and still see the grocery store. People want what they want when they want, dealing with out of stocks and making sure the shelves were full was always a significant part of my ordering expectations.To take a trip to Springfield Missouri from the northwest to have everything settled into where I started from is so amazing.I'm merely taking a moment to say thank you and show my gratitude to the Lord for watching over me all these years. It just happens to be April 11th today and I have 4 people in my life who share this birthday. Happy Birthday to my mother and father, my uncle Don and my friend Jean. Jean you helped me immensely to stay with it at work for 9 years while finishing one stage of my life and starting another.I'm looking around the warehouse having spent time in warehouses as well. The energy of this space is pure and intentional. The desire to feed and help others extends from one set of hands to another. The work of men and women becomes the path of love. One delicious and fulfilling example at a time.

The regular volunteers that you see every week and the coaches are wonderful! It feels more like spending time with extended family to help support our larger family of those in need in Springfield and the surrounding area. I also know that family of coaches, staff, and volunteers would be there for me if I needed to their support.
