Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park: what do users think?
Alan Craft: Took our son here, and he loved it. Great place to get outside and explore. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Desiree Ramos: I always enjoy coming here. The animals are so cute and I love that this farm always does something for kids in our community to learn, grow, and have fun! 🐓🐄🐎🐖🐐
Michael Snizhko: Amazing place
Natalee Ward: I have been there since I was little I love it there
Harry Kemper: I work their it is a good place to work.Playground: It's a great place to work.Restrooms: Yes.Dog-friendliness: Yes.Picnic area: Yes.
Jamona Hehner: I wish there had been more animals and especially some babies. But when the other reviews had mentioned how great the playground was, I had no idea! It's probably the best one I've ever seen, and I've been to many of them. The gbabes had a blast!Playground: You won't believe how great it is until you see it in person.
Lauryn Brown: My kids absolutely love this place. Little disappointed they got rid of the feed machine to feed the animals thoughPlayground: Very shaded, kids love itRestrooms: Not very stroller friendly. The big stall has a wall right there so it's difficult to get a double stroller or wagon into the stall
azalie armknecht: Thank you so much for making our sons 1st birthday a blast!!! We had so much fun with the cow train and bounce house!
SEAN B: The pond is a great place to introduce kids to fishing. Just remember to pay a small fee at the gift shop first. They have fishing poles for rent and worms to purchase. =]
Joey Darlington: Awesome place
Sherri: great park in Springfield. Spring it always a fun time to visit to see the babies.
Jara: Super fun & great for toddlers! Love the playground & picnic areas! Can’t get much better for a free activity! Only thing we missed was some of the animals because they weren’t out when we were there.
Heron Adames: My kids love it!
Ronald Davis: It's phenomenal place for children to interact with animals, a pond for fishing approx $5., And the biggest thing a safe tranquil place inside of Springfield!! There's a clean open BATHROOM, although give yourself plenty of time to get there, it's FAR TO THE BACK!
Holly Thompson: The animals are fat and happy. Great for all ages but best for kids. They have a classroom in the barn as well as a play place near the entrance. Has a new paved trail.
Chris Jones: It's always a blast going here I only wish there was more animals
Amanda McGeough: I like how conveniently located this park is. The playground is nice and they have a little fishing pond with poles for rent and bait for sale. My family frequents this location for the trail. Even our doggy loves it!
Sue Lynn: Awesome place to take kids, anytime.
Keith Sebastian: Grandkids love fishing the pond, because they always catch fish.
the Johnsons: Beautiful light display!!!
Charlie Winger: Always a good time.

Springfield / Route 66 KOA Holiday: what do users think?
Michelle: I’d give a zero rating if I could. They will not let you stay unless you have an RV. This sure makes seeing America little harder.
Randy Hentz: Nearby activities: Great people!!! Super helpful and just plain niceSafety: Well kept groundsWalkability: Great short trip to showers and they deliver pizza and chicken nuggets. After a long day on the road it was nice!!!Noteworthy details: The overall experience was great!!
Sean H: One of my favorite places to stay. I don't know if the employees can be any nicerRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Fred Hunter: Stayed 2 nites in mh. No cable, but everything else was pleasant.
Sheri Oakes: KOA does not disappoint. Great staff. Wonderful campsite. Close enough to everything yet far enough to feel safe and a vacation escape.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Great value, High-tech …More
J Bartlett: I was after closing time getting there after a 12hr drive (I had emailed ahead). They were still up front, had a map ready. Fred had me follow his cart to the site so I knew where to park (tent camping.) Clean, and deliciously calm on a holiday weekend night when I just needed to crash. Fantastic :)
Sheila Robinson: Had a fabulous two week stay here. Hosts are friendly and helpful. SFBN railroad is alive and well. Bring your white noise machine and you won’t notice the whistle.
Beth Cline: What a great KOA except for location. The campgrounds and staff were great, very clean bathrooms, individual showers with privacy a huge plus, shady, nice pool, very clean campground. However, the only reason they don’t get 5 stars is because of the proximity to planes, trains and automobiles. Planes flying low and landing nearby, the train track adjacent to campground and train horns during the night and the cars on the highway. If you take earplugs you’ll be just fine!
Stan Summers: Well maintained and easy to get to from the interstate. Sites with shade trees and sites with few or no trees. 2nd time we’ve stayed here.
Likes To travel: Very clean campground... close to I-44... pizza and wings delivered to your site.... staff was awesome. Will be backNearby activities: Close to Bass Pro Shop and downtown Springfield
Frank Smith: It feels like it's under an port flight path and right next to a railroad track with the trains and horns every hour or two store wasn't stocked very well for what we neededRooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Asteroidpilot: This place is amazing. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms and sites. It is a really good place with space. The ONLY thing that was rough on sleeping is the trains. The schedule was one at 11 pm midnight, then 1am. I couldn't do it. The day was fine here and there, but at night, it was rough. The main issue was that there aren't any guards at the crossing right next to the KOA, so as the train approaches and the lights flash, the horn starts blaring. We had to leave a day early cause we just couldn't another night. I won't be staying here again unless I really have to buy highly doubt it. No fault of the people or their service.
Lynn Duderstadt: This place is a 5-star campground. The only reason I did not rate it as such is the train. Just about every night the train came by six times blowing the horn each time/ multiple times. I was in town for training and the days were long. Add study time and then sleep- the train! Add crossing arms and quit blowing the horn!Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kevin Shelly: Very nice koa. Clean and staff is super nice.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Stacey Bolin: It was our first time RVing here. I have no complaints!! And there was a train that you can see and hear, that was very relaxing. Rest rooms, and the property emaculate!!!! Highly highly recommended as for the train sounds. Felt like when I was a kid. Loved everything about this place. 😍 We got our kicks on route 66!Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Lake Springfield: what do users think?
Troy Jett: Nice little drive
Tishia Turbyfill: Good fishing abs mand birds watching
Jerry Lee: Not to crowded pretty peaceful
Chris G: Went kayaking with Dae the Dog and I had fun.
Amanda Blair: We spent all day getting snagged fishing. Nothing. It's dirty and looks maybe low.
Nadi Daryani: Lovely place. You can do kayaking, walking, and catch&release fishing. There is also a boat house that you can rent boats with fair prices.
Tonya Mulitalo: Always quite a bit to see
Anthony Valenzuela: Great spot to take the kids and be outdoors. Great spots for fishing, walking, bycyling or anything else outdoors that you enjoy.
Shy Thorne: Beautiful trail with gorgeous views!
Anne Griswold: I absolutely love Lake Springfield and the surrounding park. It's so beautiful. It's a nice escape and Getaway into nature, for being in Springfield, and so close to the city.If you come around sunset/dusk...you will likely find families of dear roaming around the little grassy hills. You'll also likely see ducks, if you're down near the lake part of the park. There is an area near the lake, where you can sit and eat (I believe there is at least one picnic table you can sit and eat at), as well as there is at least 1-2 hiking trails that go up around the bluffs overheard the lake. We've done the shorter one with our kids, and just made sure they didn't go anywhere near the edge of the rocks (bluffs) that overlook the water. The trail was long enough to feel like a hike, but short enough to not feel overly tired, or to hear anyone begin to complain about it. Nice length and beautiful environment and surroundings. You can bring your kayaks or canoes here, and take a nice boating trip through the Springfield Lake. There is a North Park Pavilion, where you drive up a steep hill, and there is a swing set, and a large area where people can get together. It's very wooded and pretty. There is also a decent size playground near the main (lower) pavilion, which is closer to the entrance of the park. There's a long paved walking path, along with other smaller (non paved) walking paths, such as the one I mentioned previously.I don't believe this park has any actual bathrooms for the public, except for porta-potties. (Which is better than nothing....amiright?!!)I've never been inside of it, but there is also some sort of building/community center located within this park, near the lake/water access area. I believe they do book events, like weddings and receptions here. It looks like a very nice, and kept up building! They may also rent out kayaks and canoes from there, as well...possibly.If you're wanting to host a birthday party or any other type of party, you can reserve the pavilions for a small-ish fee, to ensure you have it to yourselves for the duration of your party or event.Overall, this is a beautiful place, a beautiful, clean, nature filled park. Great place to walk, great place for a picnic, BBQ, watching the sunrise or sunset, great place to try and see some wildlife.
Natalie B: Beautiful place to take pictures. We recently had our family photos taken near the lake.
Mike Scott: Easy access, and good for beginner kayakers....
Shane Bostian: Nice place to walk around and enjoy the views. Parking on the north side of the spillway allows you to walk all the way to the back of the lake where there is a visitor center. They recommend that you do not eat more than one fish per week from the lake - just as a precaution. Walking trail can be flooded sometimes so be prepared to turn around. The walking trail is paved and has quite a bit of shade. There's also a boat ramp and a short trail past the boat ramp it takes you to a cliff overlooking the lake.
dlyutes001: The terrain on this area is so dry right now! 😳😬😪
Marcella Ford: Very nice place
Ash Con: Dirty trashy filled with bottles and needles and broken glass
Tyler Heil: Great hiking trails and picnic areas, a decent disc golf course, plus the boathouse rents out kayaks and canoes. A great way to spend an afternoon
Carrisa Nix: Great place to go for a quick fishing fix!! Very beautiful and family friendly! There were several couples kayaking and rowing, as well as, fishing from the shore.
Cherie Weems: My handsome groom and I decided to visit. We played disc golf. They have a fun and challenging course. It will keep you busy for a whole day. Bring snacks ;)
Amber: Absolutely beautiful hike!
Tabetha kane: Beautiful place to take a nature walk and to fish 🐟

Lake Springfield Park and Boathouse: what do users think?
Snow Popis: $24 for two kayak rentals for an hour right before sunset. Wondeful staff! Friendly, knowledge, and we had a great experience.
Joey F: The location is great. The park, grass and all of the grounds are beautifully maintained. The lake itself, however, yuk. Stall stagnant stinky moss and algae filled water. Almost guaranteed to catch something coming in contact with that water. Wouldn't let my dogs in it and wouldn't bother taking my kayaks there. We'll do fellows lake for kayin'. Aside from that, it's a beautiful place.
Travis Southern: Nice park with a decent lake to fish in has a place to stay out of the rain and a playground for the kids and a decent amount of grills for a cookout not the worst park in Springfield MO for sure I guess I could recommend it for fishing blue fill and bass and catfish and occasionally you can get a spoonbill but almost always wrapped up with fishing line please clean up all of your fishing line and anytime you see some laying around please pick it up keep our lakes clean for our kids and our kids kids for the love of God .
Heather Roberson: What a wonderful place! Ive lived in Springfield for many years and have never been here until today. I have learned the error of my ways. This place is amazing! Theres kayaks and canoes to rent, a park to enjoy, frisbee golf course, playground for the kids with picnic tables. My family plans on coming soon to enjoy some of the amenities. It was so nice to be able to see a wide variety of waterfowl so close to a major city. Thank you to the Park Board for this wonderful gem!
Mindy Rosella Chambers: A beautiful place to hike and see aome beauty. I dont like that theyve cut all the scrubbery out. Its no longer as magical as it once was. But it still has some pretty views overlooking the lake. A great atomostphere too.
mando rodarte: Playground: Great view
Darren Scott: Lovely
Echo Alexzander: A beautiful park with lots to see and do!
M C: A nice park with easy trail. Saw some wild deers and ducks..
Lilith Conn: Pretty
Blair Furstenberg: Always well taken care of.
Joshua Spurgeon: An enormous park property with a nice lake!Plentiful parking areas.Large gravel parking area near lake.
David Vance: We had an awesome little outing. We are unfamiliar with the area and considered ourselves lucky to happen upon this place we paddled and fished up the river area. Very beautiful
Carla Smith: Had an amazing time! Went on the Intro to Kayaking class with Robin and Erin. It was great. Ladies were helpful and didn't let sky of us drown. Very important. Great place gorgeous views!!!
Jacob William: Wonderful nature space. Uncrowded, excellent wooded hiking trail system, great green spaces, play equipment, and a very nicely marked disc golf course. The only thing needed is an extension of the paved trailway for the elderly and parents pushing a baby.
Igor Pulbere: We went kayaking on the lake, weather was nice, kids enjoyed the ride
Brandon Lauthern: A nice venue for small gatherings. It has picturesque surroundings, feels secluded, and is a neat and clean facility.
Melissa Haddix: We celebrated our grandsons graduation party here and it was very nice!
Meko Bahl: Fishing, glaring at people and getting glared at. People kayaking and smiling...it was fine, although i did lose some of a tooth, which made me have a painic attack.I guess that's really not Springfield lakes responsibility ....also, there's a lot of snakes there in the water.
Pamela Keller: Beautiful, families walking with their pets. Others and fathers with their children and their canoes and boats and fisherman in their boats catching fish. The birds flying over in the water which is beautiful so clean so much fun loved it.
Kage Foundation: I love the new 18 hole disc golf course!!
