Sharon Perkins: Springfield, MO. On the 2nd floor of Bass Pro Shop, this restaurant is a must-visit if you’re in Springfield. It’s a fun date, too. Our cousins sat at the bar for several Friday night dates and named the fish in the huge aquarium there. Today we had a family gathering for lunch at Hemingways and the child in our group enjoyed the restaurant as much as the grownups. It took me a few minutes to figure out what to eat because I was so enthralled by the decor. Everywhere I looked there was something fun to see. What we ordered tasted great! The prices were a tad high but you’re paying for the ambiance and the coolness factor.

Natalie Keeney: So disappointing. Food was just not worth the cost. We paid $35 for a piece of halibut that was no bigger than 3" x 2". Not worth the price for a small, dry piece of fish. The hamburger tasted like it was a frozen patty. Service was great and the atmosphere is neat...but oh the food, not something I would recommend.Food: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Alyssa A: I enjoyed this place! I ordered the 1 fish, 5 shrimp with fries and red beans and rice. I loved the fish sauce but wasn’t a big fan of their cocktail type sauce. I also thought their fries could use some type of Cajun style seasoning. The red beans and rice were the best I’ve ever had! To finish off we tried the peach hand pie which was fantastic. I would come back again!

Kimberly Mlnarik: Place is clean and has spacious seating. Tried the #35: 3 fish, 3 shrimp, 3 chicken strips, fries and coleslaw. Food was served hot and fresh. Marika Moske: DO NOT EAT HERE! YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!!!!! I gave this place a try, ordered carry out and tipped nicely. I was incredibly disappointed. First, I didn't receive some of my order. Second, the food that I actually did receive was so bad I ended up just throwing it out. Sucks but what can you do. All I actually wanted was a refund on the items I didn't receive, they refused and I had to report fraud to my bank. Forgot to mention it was an 84$ order. I 10/10 WOULD NOT recommended.
David Arthur: When I want seafood this is where I go. Until tonight the cooks in the back started yelling at each other, went on for 15 minutes. Ridiculous.

brokencc84: To sum this place up in one word. "disgusting". I've never been here before and thought with 4.3 stars we would give it a shot. The first issue I had was how unhelpful the girl working the counter was. I asked what kind of cheese came on the cheese steak and she couldn't even tell me. Then asked me if I wanted her to ask. Well yeah... Went to get my drink and all the drinks were flat. I informed her that the carbonation was out and she just said "oh ok"made zero attempt to remedy this. I ordered the cheese steak, and it had a wierd sweet tangy taste combined with way too much pepper. After trying to eat more of this sandwich I realized what they put on it that made it taste wierd. MIRACLE WHIP! who the hell puts miracle whip on a Philly? It was absolutely disgusting. I ordered the cole slaw with it and I had to spit it out. You can tell it had been previously frozen and then thawed to room temperature. Nothing was edible. My wife had the shrimp poboy which was just as bad as the rest of the food. And the Mac and cheese tasted like it had been refrigerated and reheated in the microwave multiple times. None of the food was fresh. To top that off the restaurant was very quiet almost library like. No music on, the tv had a game on but it was frozen. So it was awkwardly quiet. Except for the cooks in the kitchen horrible singing. To top off all that there were ants crawling on the table. If I was the owner of this place I would be absolutely embarrassed and ashamed to open my doors to customers. This place needs a surprise visit from the health department. I guarantee they would fail an inspection. Never again will I eat here or recommend it to anyone. There is no place in springfield for a dump like this. Negative - 5 stars!
clint eaton: The oil was burnt everything tasted like burnt oil giving there quickness yuck !!! I’ve had true food from the coast …!!! Bad monkeys change out your oil ….

London Calling Pasty Company: what do users think?
DAZZ The Patriot: I've had the curry pie from the place in the mall and the traditional from their truck when it was in Aurora. I can't decide which one is my favorite. The crust they do on those things is SO good. If you like curry their curry pie is all the best things about curry in a delicate flavorful crust. And the Traditional pie screams comfort food. I could see having one to warm yourself on a cold day. It's like having a really really good stew in a sandwich. Lol I'll definitely be back for more.
Michael Styles: My Goodness! Heavenly Angel's Choir singing! Rejoice! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! The food is 10x better than anything you can find anywhere else, not enough good words can do this place justice, the amount of LOVE AND CARE they put into this food is something you can taste and will want to come back again and again! Food that excites you!

D E: We went here today for the first time in a while for the fish and chips. Flavor was fine, but overall very disappointing . Employee was NOT friendly. Seemed annoyed with us.Portions have gotten smaller. $30 for one order of fish and chips ($2.99 for one small extra piece of fish), a bottle of beer and a fountain soda. a TINY fountain cup, but we thought, “no big deal, we can get refills”. Refills were $1.00!! For a tiny cup!! We will not be going back.

Debbie Siler: Had their fish and chips tonight. Awesome food, and service. Hope they come to our subdivision again soon. Highly recommend

Amy Williams: Excellent food!
Denise Dunaway: We had an amazing experience when London Calling catered an event at my work. We have worked with several local restaurants for catering, and London Calling was above and beyond the best. The team was super friendly, educated about the pasties, hard-working, and generally seemed to love their jobs. The food was fantastic, too. Our team was all extremely impressed.
Tyy Ward: If you have not tried the Fish and Chips you are truly missing out. I just visited the Fish and Chip food truck at Price Cutters in Ozark and I highly recommend them. This is the third time I have had the fish and chips from their food truck and all three times have been excellent. If you like a great quality fish with an excellent crispy breading, then this is a must try. The fries are just the cherry on top. Their service is always excellent and friendly too. Today they had fried pies so I gave it a try. Wow! That was good. It was the Strawberry Rhubarb one today. Highly, highly recommend! You should go follow them on Facebook so you know where their food truck will be next and if it will be in your neck of the woods. Definitely worth it!
Melissa Morrison: The best fish and chips hands down!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Bonnie Bertoldie: Food truck from restaurant. Didn't get all my order and cheese burger pasty way overcooked. I thought it was expensive and not very good. Disappointing. We, also, tried Chicken Masala and cheesy chicken bacon pasty. Better, but still overcooked.
Paige Dryden: We got there around 11:30 and got them super fresh. This was my first time ever having pastys and they were really good. It’s quick and worth a try if you’re in the area.
L H: The pasties are great! I also ordered a Banoffee pie as it had been a long time since I had one of theirs. It was disappointing. I don't know if they changed the source ingredients or if it was an old one but they used to taste fresher and higher quality. There was not very much dulce de leche and the whip cream was thick and not very good. Also it used to be 2 to 3 times bigger and I always split it with a friend. The size is really small now. Pasties are 5 stars, Banoffee Pie 2.5 maybe...
Taylor: Service was good, I’ve never had the chicken tiki Marsala but it had a lot of curry so if that’s normal ignore this but it was a little overwhelming. The sausage had a good flavor.Recommended dishes Sausage Roll …More
Kim Thompson: I'd never been to this mall before and when we went to the food court I was so excited to see this place! I got a chicken tikka masala pasty and my mom got fish and chips. My pasty was so good and it was wrapped up super cute. My mom loved her fish and chips. I don't really do fish but I tried to chips and wow they were delicious. They have some British treats for sale as well so I got some sweets and a can of Heinz beans because I've really been wanting to try beans on toast. Jenny was working the front and she is such a sweetheart! I pass through Springfield a lot to visit my mom in Branson so I think I'll be stopping by often to bring some pasties with me for my visit.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian pasties available
Kionney: This place is super great and the food is so tasty. Always great to eat here!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Al: Sheperd's Pie is delicious. Chicken Tikka Masala pasty is just WOW !! The Guinness Gravy is FINGER-LICKING good and truly compliments both the pie and pasty. London calling has earned a dear spot in my list for best food in Springfield and I look forward to my next visit ~ eager to try their desserts. Cheers
Ninja Panda (Ninjapanda): Absolutely amazing!!! They made me feel like I was back with my nanny (grandma) she passed away 6 years ago, I could feel the love and care that goes into their food. It was an amazing experience! Thank you for making me smile and understanding my feelings. The chef was from the uk and he was nice enough to come and have a chat with me and said one of my nanny's famous lines. Thank you again. Definitely will be returning when I come up to Springfield!
Amy White: I work at London calling and we strive to make your experience a great one. Come see us at the battlefield mall or catch our food or fish and chips truck out and about. We look forward to seeing u.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

DaxAxe 22: Place has really went downhill. Use to be really good a few years ago. Wonder what happened. Anyway; service was rude, pizza sucked, overpriced, and there just isn’t a lot of options or flavor or quantity for your buck. Better off driving across the street to chick-fill-a.
Tiffany B: Not very much selection. They did get it served fast and hot. However, I was very displeased with the taste of the pizza. After reviewing the menu and not alot to choose from was disappointing. After I received the pizza for my party they only offered one packet of parmesan cheese for a full pizza. Location is great. You would think that the title that seafood would be an option. Bass pro really did not meet the expectation on the restaurant. I know I will not be returning to eat again. As far as the friendliest of the staff, they did great at there job. Only updates need to happen
Joshua K: Minimal selections but a quick bite to eat without having to leave the aquarium building. Certainly better than some quick bite aquarium eateries, but not nearly as good as (example) aquarium restaurant in Denver CO. We ordered pizza for us parents. Kids meal for one boy and just goldfish for the other. A TINY BAG of goldfish is like $3!! As is a SMALL bag of chips! WHAT?!?!?! Next time, bring our own snacks and go eat out in the parking lot or something, lol. The kids meal was literally a crustable sandwich (yep, those things you get in the freezer section at walmart), a goldfish tiny bag, a apple sauce cup, and a little plastic cup of juice. It was enough for the kiddo, but probably only if they are 3-7yrs old, otherwise, order a pizza and split it. Our pizza was really good (or we were just starving and willing to eat), but it's like a big wood fired stove and the pizza comes out crisp enough and tasty. Good pizza, pretty quick service, minimal menu options, and fairly overpriced snacks.
sammy: Shrimp tacos were ok. But I went to wash my hands before eating and the floor mat was on the counter in the way. C'mon man...
a boy with a broken heart73: i went to bass pro for my birthday and we stoped by to pick up somthing to eat but this food was horrible we all left and would rather starve than eat here
Robin Reel: Overpriced and gross
Stephanie Bonnie: Decent price and value for a quick bite (around $10 for panini and chips). Mostly sandwiches and drinks. Great way to have lunch without leaving the aquarium/museum/bass pro. Accessible without going to any of these places though. Has restrooms around the glass doors. Employees were helpful and didn't rush. Took same payment methods as bass pro/museum and aquarium.

Van Gogh's Eeterie: what do users think?
Brooke: Excellent with food allergies. Vegan options as well!Vegetarian options: Vegan options!Dietary restrictions: Alpha gal syndrome friendly
Haley Carroll: My family has gluten and dairy sensitivities and this restaurant was so accommodating and absolutely delicious!! Plus, we had amazing service! Next time we’re in Springfield, we’ll be back for sure.Dietary restrictions: Amazing gluten and dairy free options!! Highly recommend!
Paige Lee: We used to go here all the time, but after our last visit, I don’t think we will be back.I ordered one of the most expensive items on the menu that was like a sampler. Nothing was said to me when I ordered it. When the food came out, it was missing 2 of the 5 items. When I asked about it they told me there were out of the other two items. I asked if the price would be adjusted and was told I just received extra of the 3 things I got, even though I didn’t. When I pulled up the menu because they wouldn’t bring one so I could show them, the manager was very hateful and said in a nasty tone “well what do you want me to do about it?” At this point I have been trying to talk to them about it for 20 minutes and my food was completely cold. The manager spent the entire time trying to gaslight me when I had the menu pulled up on my phone.By the time we got it resolved so that I wasn’t paying for food I didn’t get, everyone else was done eating, so I left my own birthday dinner without even eating. This was far from the only problem we experienced. Our waiter just kept disappearing and not getting drinks or bringing out our food when it was ready so all 6 meals we got were cold and they completely disregarded what we told them when we notified them that someone had an allergy so they had an allergic reaction. We had eaten here many times and never had a problem with accommodating this particular allergy.Vegetarian options: It is apparently not a big deal if meat products end up in a vegan dish, that is listed as vegan and they will still charge for a dish that can’t be eaten.Dietary restrictions: Disregarded allergies they were told about multiple times in person and on the reservation.
Sara Slayton: My sister and I tried to go there a few days ago for her birthday dinner. We were one of three groups in the restaurant and they sat us at the only table sitting directly in the sun. There were tables on either side of us, so we got up and moved to the table that was right next to ours. The server was right behind us, and we mentioned that the sun was in our eyes, and he seemed fine with us moving. He gave us waters and said the server would be right with us.We sat for close to 30 minutes with no service. Servers kept passing us, making eye contact, and continuing to walk by. I completely understand that we should have asked to move before doing so. However, to be refused service because of something so miniscule is despicable.
Hollie Scoma: It's a little loud but beautifully decorated with dutch decor. Service was amazing. We had Vincent and he was so kind and helpful. We ordered a variety of things but I loved the dutch pancakes best. It's reminiscent of the pancakes in Thorn, Netherlands. Would highly recommendFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Dom: I got the vegan India pancake (curry themed). So I will give you credit for the curry taste, but it needed more of a kick. Look up Blue Mountain Jamaican curry as a reference.I was impressed with the pancake and serving size.Yes, they have vegan options. Just tell the waiter you’re vegan.5/5 for cleanliness. The waiter was good.

Rachel C: The staff went above and beyond when my 2 year old was having an absolute melt down for what seemed like forever. They were so understanding and it really made this mom feel so welcomed.I have eaten here 3 other times and I would recommend them to anyone.
Sonya Trantham: We made a reservation for 930am. We got there on time and was seated. 11 minutes later our waiter came to the table. By then we ordered our drinks and food because we had plenty of time to look at the menu. We got our drinks 15 minutes later. At 10:45 we finally got are food. The food was cold and not edible. It had to have sat in the window for at least 15 minutes before he brought it to us. We asked for a manager, 10 minutes later we explained what happened. We paid for our drinks and left. We will never go back.
Debra Neighbors: Breakfast here was delicious! Love the atmosphere!
Steve Gibson: A great spot for dinner! The food was amazing and the folks there are super friendly. Highly recommended!

Glad Burgio: I came here with a party of 5. My coconut shrimp was a bit overcooked. Millennials say Red Lobster is for baby boomers and they're not wrong! Piped in music was from that generation. Overall, good food.Wheelchair accessibility: Pull the car right up to the door.

Mike Ijames: The food was good. Prepared as described and nice portions. The salad was actually excellent, fresh and delicious. The biscuits are better than they used to be, delicious as well. The atmosphere was just not very busy or happening which sucks, because I truly don’t think that is a reflection on the restaurant kitchen, wait, or management staff. The server, McKenna I believe was her name, was the best server I have had at a restaurant in quite some time. She was courteous, well trained, (nod to management), and really elevated our evening. Super job. I complain a lot about customer service these days, but she was outstanding and restored my faith in dining out as a worthwhile endeavor.

Cindy Goodwin: Members of our party arrived at 11 am in order to put our name in to get a table (for 8 adults and 1 booster seat) for a noon lunch on Mother's day. Even after all members had arrived (by noon, as we had agreed), it was another 20 minutes before we were seated. The food was not as good as I remembered it being. The shrimp scampi barely had any garlic flavoring at all, and the steak that we ordered medium arrived rare. Our server was nice but not very efficient, as we didn't get the rolls with our salads - we had to wait for the dinner to get those. All in all, I found it overpriced for the quality of food we received. 1 last criticism...the women's restroom stunk and was in need of a good cleaning. I won't be going back, and neither will any other family members.

Tracey Ball: Not good from the moment we entered. Very dark and no one at the front to greet us. We had to find someone. Server was nice enough. Window seals were desperately dirty and the flies were atrocious. Biscuits were great but the appetizers were so so. Drinks from the bar finally arrived. They were good. Until the second round. One of the drinks was made totally different than the first and was awful. The main course arrived. C O L D. All of it. The brussel sprouts were burnt to a crisp and ashy. Non of the food, and I mean none of it had any flavor whatsoever. For the price of all this I expected much more. Such a disappointment.
Shayla M: I went around 730pm, there was no wait on a Friday night! Austin Werner: My partner and I have been coming here for years, we've always loved the food and the service is always great! Cheddar bay biscuits are to die for, and shellfish is a weakness of mine. Our last visit wasn't quite as nice as usual, the food seemed to be of a lower quality than usual. There was also only 1 other couple visible in the restraunt, yet they still set us at the table right next to them, leaving the rest of the dining area empty. Doesn't make any sense to do this, as who wants a date night in an empty dining room with a random couple literally inches from you?The server was very polite and helpful, and even gave us a few extra biscuits to take home.Final thoughts are that we just had 1 not amazing experience, but 9/10 times it has been worth the expense. I do recommend bringing your significant other or family here.

James Stanton: If you love seafood Red Lobster is a fantastic choice, lobster or crab linguine, mussels and bread the BOMB and of course the biscuits!!Recommended dishes Seafood …More
Jeff Laskowski: Horrible service ! Our service was the worse I have had at any restaurant. The bartender was our waitress and no one had bar orders and she only had 2tables. It took 10 minutes to get our drinks and it wasn’t busy at all !!! This is the worse red lobster I’ve ever been in. I do NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Brenda Brown: We hadn't been in a while & wanted to see how it was after Covid! We had about a 15 min. Wait time, we were seated & the waitress came to take our order. Our Party consisted of 4 adults & 1 toddler. They had Specials going on, so we all gave her our orders. The salads & stuff came within 5 minutes of taking our order. It took probably about 20-25 min. to get our food. We were All Very Pleased with our food. One ordered a Steak with his and he said that it was the 1st time that his Steak came cooked the way that he ordered it! My Husband ordered Salmon & shrimp and it was Delicious! Another ordered pasta w/shrimp & mussels, she enjoyed her food so much that she didn't say anything until she was finished, then she said that it was Good!!! I had the Unlimited Shrimp, you pick 2 types of dishes out of about 5 or 6 options. I chose Shrimp Scampi & Skewered Shrimp. I could order as many dishes of them as I wanted. I only ordered 2 of each & had to get a to-go container. I wish that I could have eaten more, They were SO YUMMY!!! Our waitress was very personable & nice. She was quick with checking up on us to make sure that everything was fine with the food and she was good with checking up on me, to see if I wanted anymore of the Unlimited Shrimp. Also with if we needed anymore to drink. We were more than Happy to give her a good Tip... She definitely earned it!!! I can't remember her name, I wish that I could, I would leave it so that she would get good feedback from her Boss & possibly a raise or the pick of good hours, however they handle it now!!!Kid-friendliness: There was a kid menu for our toddler and she liked her shrimp!Parking: There are Several Handicap parking spots.
