Stylish Irish: What's a model (Stylish Irish) to say that I didn't say with my other review? After all, one of the reasons I have my businesses based in Springfield, Missouri is BECAUSE it's the Birthplace of Route 66. Plus, how is a lover of history and classic vehicles supposed to resist? Like an Irish moth to a classic flame.This year's festival was phenomenal. The live music, the classic vehicles, the association booths, and how can I possibly forget the food vendors? Everything from all-American hot dogs and fresh squeezed lemonade to fresh-made funnel cakes and frozen tropical drinks were served at the festival.So many people told us we were geniuses for thinking to bring a canopy umbrella and loved our setup. Did I mention the parade was everything and more? Besides riding in it, I was happy to keep cool in the shade.It was fun being MacGyver with the umbrella for the parade, though I still sunburned badly during the course of this amazing multiple-day festival. Mother Nature has reminded me yet again that the Sun and Irish skin do not mix, even after applying multiple layers of sunscreen. However, this can't be blamed on the festival. Can't bloody wait for next year's festival!

Miss McElroy: My oh my, did this business owner (Let Irish VAssist You) & pin-up model (Stylish Irish) have a bloody great time! Not only did I ride in the Birthplace of Route 66 Festival parade, but this is the first festival we have had since the pandemic. There were over 700 classic vehicles this year that attended the festival!I could not be more proud or honored to be a business member of the organization (Route 66 Association of Missouri) and this event dedicated to the preservation and upkeep of Historic Route 66 in the Show-Me State. Especially in the Birthplace of Route 66. Can't wait until next year to do it all over again!
