Heidi Maddox: Never had any issues in the last year, have had a few outages but they were resolved in under 3 hours, this morning a prime example power went out at 6:30 heard a loud boom, an hour later our power was restored. We are originally from Michigan where we have consumers energy for electric I can honestly say city utilities are a million times better

Andrew Brown: Beware of these CROOKS! Me and my fiance recently sold our house, and move up KC. We notified CU that we're selling our house, and would be out on the 5th. For some reason, the new owners had not put the utilities in there names yet, so they shut off the power on the morning of the 5th while we were still moving the last bit of our stuff out. We called them, asking why the utilities were shut off and that they should still be on, but in the new owners name. They said the new owners had not yet put it in there names, but they would notate the account with that info, and would turn it back on. What they didn't tell us, was that they were going to charge us a $15 reconnect fee, and continue to charge us till the 8th, even though we fully sold the house on the 5th. Fast forward to now, and we receive a crazy high utility bill. Call and inquire, talked to a supervisor, and there were all extremely rude, and could care less that they charged us for power on days we didn't use, never the less, actually owned the home for. We have always paid our utility bill on time, and have never had any issues. But these people have absolutely no humanity! Plus, the new owners put the utilities in there name the day of the 5th. So there charging two families for the same 3 days of power. I can't explain how much I loathe this utility company, and would never recommend them to anyone!!

Gina Bogart: Pathetic company that is not for the people. Transformer blew and I was out of electricity and had to leave my place of work which happens to be my home and they will not give a discount for the time and money lost.
Johnny Cain: The card I had on autopay was lost and reordered through my card company. So when my autopay didn’t go through with CU (first time ever), they didn’t bother reaching out to me before charging me a $40 junk fee. This is what happens when there’s no other option for service. Monopoly companies are allowed to charge whatever junk fee they want. Even if it’s as much as 20% of your whole bill. This is greedy and bad management.Update: the day after leaving this review I got a voicemail saying that they were crediting the $40 late fee since I had perfect pay history. I’m glad they read their reviews but I wonder how many people get stuck with these junk fees from a company that people have no choice but to use. And the fees don’t make sense. It’s $25 for missing the payment then $15 for being late. That’s the same fee with a different name. And they don’t even have any reason to charge it. It’s not like they lost $40 for me being a few days late. It’s seriously an abuse on lower income people. What if I wasn’t in a position to easily cover that fee? The worst part is, a review is the most anyone can do about it. You have zero other choices except to go without utilities somehow.

Even for a mere 20 cents.Not even worth the call to get it fixed over 20 cents.

I got a shut off notice Friday afternoon, I called city utilities as soon as they opened in regards to giving me till Wednesday to pay the bill. They told me they couldn’t help me. That it was already scheduled. I don’t have family here where am I suppose to put my daughter while she is on oxygen. The temperature drops to freezing at night. I don’t know what to do. Who to ask for help. All I needed was till Wednesday. They are horrible providers. And don’t care about the public or my daughter life. I hate these people

Callie McNeil: My usage is usually only around 70 dollars a month but I missed a payment about a year ago and have never been able to get my bill under 485 dollars. I pay about 360 dollars a MONTH and have never been able to catch up. The fees are ridiculous and no one ever can actually tell me what “fees” I’m paying for. An absolute SCAM. It’s infuriating that there’s nothing anyone can do because this is the only company you can go through.

Money hungry, wanting to shut peoples utilities off any chance they get whether they have kids and or are disabled. A. Lindley: Today, (12/31/12) I went there to get some gas. I set the pump in motion and turned my back while I was filling up. I smelled quite a bit of gas and looked at the pump handle which was trickling out gas like crazy because the hose wasn't connected to the pump handle correctly! Gas was all over my car, the ground, my shoes and when I stopped it...its sprayed all over me like there was air in the lines. I immediately went to tell the attendant - who said to me- "What do you want me to do for you? I can't leave my post." The money I spent for my gas is now all over the bay of the gas station not to mention all over me. I continued to try to level with her as she was in charge (I suppose). I asked about a manager and she told me they'd be there tomorrow and I could come back then and talk with them! I asked if she was going to go put a sign on the pump- she said again... " I Can't leave my post"... I left - furious at her lack of common sense or customer service skills. Called about 5 minutes later and she answered simply--"HELLO" Not SRB or Gas Station ...LOL!?? I told her who I was and that I wanted the manager to call me...she said I could come by tomorrow. I said -- Yeah...I'm not coming back to this gas station for any reason AT ALL! Can the manager not call me? "Uh,.... I guess?WOW!! I so agree with every review on here - RUDE Attendants that do not care! I will NEVER come back here again and I will certainly let my friends know not to waste their time here either. I also got on the conoco website and filed a complaint and then called the fire department because the 20 ft. puddle of gas in the bay right next to Sunshine street could be a little hazardous if someone decided to flick a ciggarette out the window. Perhaps that would get her off her "post". I hope the Fire Marshal explained to her proper procedure when you have a flammable substance leaking out into the parking lot.

Megan and Justin Kelley: We called to have an estimate done. They showed up to do the estimate, the ladies name was Holly. She was great. Very respectful, sweet, and great to talk to. She actually almost had us sold. Then she called this man, named Curtis, who was a sales person, who claimed to be a "consultant". He was rude, very disrespectful, & if he worked 4 me, he would no longer have a job. So we decided since switching to solar wasn't going to decrease our electric bill each month instead it would raise it $60+ & even more than that in the winter time, that it just wasn't the right time to go solar. When we went to tell him this, he started spitting out rude comments about how "he thought my husband was a smarter man" & other disrespectful comments. We will absolutely NEVER call them again & will find another solar company if we ever decide to try & go solar again.
Boone Harding: Note: this review is for Brian, the consultant who visited our home. We did not purchase any products with pink energy when the consultation was said and done, so I can't rate the company as a whole.I'd give Brian Nash a 5 star review. Very helpful and took his time going over things with us.The salesman, Tevin King, was rather pushy and tried very hard to land a sale that, for us, made no sense financially. Had to let him know about 4 times that it's a "no" for us, but thanks anyway. I'd give him 3 stars. He was respectful, cut to the numbers like we asked, but definitely didn't want to let the sale go.

The sales rep was very friendly and honest, she showed me the step by step process to install and was honest with the prices and how I would get my incentives.I referred them a few friends and they are honest about send the referral checks.

Matt Brown: Aaron and his team absolutely killed it for us. We got all of our questions answered promptly and installation went smooth as can be.
Jesse Sherman: This company doesn't care about anything but profit. They don't care about their customers or employees. "Customers" are harassed into setting appointments. New employees are thrown to the wolves and told good luck. The lack of empathy is so bad that they will call you and fire you when you're out of town trying to deal with a family member who is elderly and being neglected by caregivers.
Brendan Patten: They installed a 16kw system that went online Jan 2023. Near end of Feb the system developed an issue with 1 string of panels causing 25% drop in output. It did take a little while to get on a schedule to get it fixed. They diagnosed and repaired the issue in one visit. They also come back out and added the inverters to my wired internet connection for better communication. Everyone I have talked to in person has been great. It was a little difficult initially getting someone to tell me when a repair could be made. Some of the office staff failed to return calls, but probably growing pain in a fast growing company. In the end, system is 100% functioning and producing as sold.
Jill Martin: Unfortunately we’ve had more issues with this company and dishonesty from the sales rep when we entered into a contract a few years back. Hopefully this will save someone else some time and headache.If you think you will need a new roof within ten years; do it before you have this company do their panels (or use a different company all together). They will not stand behind their word and will charge upwards of three times the rate of other companies to take down and then reinstall the panels on your roof.

Twila Bonser: We have spent 3 years investigating solar for our home. Had estimates and discussions with 2 other companies. For our specific circumstances Solera was the best answer. They have been friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Even timely and tidy when doing the work. The sales person Chris, is helpful and willing to follow-up with questions during the process. Our electric company employee came today to install the net meter and was impressed with how quickly they received notice that the installation had been completed after the electric company received the initial paperwork. We are very pleased. I hope to follow-up with you when we receive summer and winter bills. The true test will be if solar reduces or eliminates our electricity use from the electric company. Understanding of course that we will always have a distribution fee of about $35.00/mo. Since our home is totally electric including heat, we expect to replace the electric bill with a solar panel cost equal to current expenses.

They aKeats seem to care about me as well as the equipment ❤️Example, I called today and left a message about a squirrel nest in my panels. Torrena had returned my call with advice by noon.

Installation was just recently completed and they did a great job.
