As a retired Air Force veteran, I have traveled around the world and experienced many cultures and food. Now, I find myself always comparing restaurants to the places I've been. Seldom do they even come close comparing here in the States. From the first bite, Café Cusco, however, had enjoying the food as if I were actually sitting in country! If you're the type of person who wants to experience the culture and food of Peru, but don't want to leave Missouri, this is the place to eat! The food will melt in your mouth and easily transport you there! ...and as a sidenote, if you're lucky enough to be served by Joshua, you're in for a real treat! Joshua, from one Air Force Veteran to another, thank you for your service both in uniform and tableside! It truly is a small world!

Boy am I glad I stayed , the chefs in the kitchen are madmen . Some culinary masterpieces live on the menu , it is a creative and flavor bursting mind blowing stop and just need silence to make an audible mmmmmmmmm. Get the blackfish it may be over cooked but the flavors going on in the dish will have you falling in love with Café Cusco . Hate I live 5 hours away . The waitress was exceptional at her job (especially juggling serving multiple tables). Other than not understanding what the food names are, it was an experience worth it.Edit: The waitress' name is Morgan, so, if you're reading this Café Cusco, good job hiring her. She is exceptionally kind and a hard worker. I had the sweet potato glass noodle stir fry, and it was delicious. I always get the pesto pasta (so tasty and a menu staple), but I felt I should try something new. I'm glad I did!
