The exterior looks shady , the interior lacks sophistication and now there have been numerous warranty issues ! Huge problems right out of the gate. Not worth the price or the wait. Strongly would not recommend!

DZ cosmetics: My business partner purchased a Metris from Jay here, he lied and claimed that an issue was user fault so warranty would not be honored and then when van was taken to the place he recommended for warranty work, they said it was a design error and malfunction on his equipment and he would not honor the warranty. Stay clear of his HORRIBLE business practices.

Bonnie Durrett: A1 did work for us previously on an old Lexus and we were really happy with our experience overall. We took our new Jeep in recently for a standard oil change, and a fluke of a situation seemed to happen that caused a major oil leak and for the Jeep to be out of oil almost completely within two days. While the timing of this was inconvenient and involved lots of concern, towing, a cancelled out of town trip—frustrating circumstances for both sides overall—there’s a lot to be said for how a company handles these types of situations. We felt their customer service couldn’t have been any better from the beginning to end of the process. There was professionalism and understanding at each step of the way, and A1 did a great job at helping to remedy and fix the situation. Mike Shaver: High recommend. They got my car in on very short notice to fix a cooling fan issue while on vacation in Branson. They are a family owned shop with 4 or 5 ASE Certified mechanics. They diagnosed the problem, gave me a quote and completion timeframe. Both the quote and timeframe were accurate. They even gave me a ride to the hotel and came and picked me up when my car was ready. Very nice people!

Grant S.: I told them not to ask me for a review but they did...Air works great but a complete rip off on parts, they charge me $790 the dealer at my cost was $581 and I'm not a shop that gets discounts. When I approached them with this they said that I had paid for a warranty. So I'm guessing that we pay them double for the parts to cover a warranty, if it's that way we aren't getting a warranty we are getting taken advantage of.Service:Air conditioning
Lorna Goebel: I had made an appointment to have the car worked on. I was a little early, but they immediately took my car into the bay area. Everyone was professional and pleasant, and had no problems explaining to me what needed to be done and why. They showed me pictures of things I didn’t even know what they were so they had to point out to me what needed to be fixed, but they never acted like I was stupid. They had loads of magazines and newspapers to occupy mean but what thrilled me the most was the coloring books! I will definitely use them again as they treated me with respect and they did a good job with the car and I thought they were very reasonably priced!Service:Exhaust

Patrick Family: We have have used A1 several times and have always been pleased with their work quality and flexibility to get our vehicles in and out in a timely fashion. This last repair we did as a “work-in” and they had it done before noon the day we dropped it off. I was a little shocked when they call and the lady apologized thinking she had called the wrong person. I explained that I wasn’t expecting the call so quickly about it being completed and she understood. We would definitely recommend them to friends and family. I’d also like to note that this was extra important for a quick turnaround on repairs, as it was on my husband’s work vehicle. Brian Schwarz: This was an extensive repair of the manual transmission clutch replacement including flywheel, input shaft and associated bearings. Plus some routine maintenance of a brake system flush and cooling system flush. In addition to replacing a side mirror and from grill. Given some parts delayed, to be inspected, truck was there for 3 weeks. I am very satisfied with the quality of work and pricing, but most updates were me reaching out to them, not them reaching out to me. When notified ready, the 2 routine maintenance items were not performed and the incorrect grill was installed. Just feel some improvement on communication to me and among themselves is needed for an extended repair like this. Eric S.: I’ve been using A-1 since 2015, and my family was going there before I started. There’s a reason why they have BBB torch awards and a five-star rating from Carfax. That reason is honesty. Every time I go in, the amount I pay is less than I expect. And they will not risk the reputation of the company for a quick upsell. They tell you what urgently needs fixing, what can wait, what will eventually happen, and their best estimate on a timeline. They want you to be a repeat customer, and it shows.

I took it to Midas and they told me the repairs were not required, the were all in good condition. Guess they thought this girl wouldn't get a second opinion. Good thing I did. Keith checked it in and had all the paperwork ready by the time we arrived at the shop. Shawn Summers: I've been using A-1 for maybe 20 years? It's been a very good run but sadly today is my last visit.I needed an oil change on my Tundra. It was slow but I was late, seems fair.The real problem was when I was told I need transmission service /fluid change($280) My immediate response was "No it doesn't" but I didn't explain why I knew that. The service writer told me the fluid was dark. I knew two things, I had just had it done at a different shop and my truck doesn't have a transmission dipstick. There's no way to determine dark fluid without significant work.I challenged the service writer and initially he blames "a new system" finally he admitted he made up the dark fluid part. And that the ticket reflected Service Trans if not already done. Very different from "you need transmission service" "the fluid is dark"Long story short. They would have happily taken the $280, dumped the nearly new fluid, and refilled and I would have likely never known. It's predatory and had I been less informed I would have been taken. I'm not a car expert, so I have to trust my service provider, this transaction undermines that trust.
