Troy Harris: One of the oddest venues I've ever been to. It looks like a normal venue, stage, few seats, open dance area, bar, and upper level. I started noticing people walk past the stage on the left side. I got adventurous and explored where they were going. It opens up to some pool tables and another seated area, with a door that opens up to a wide open space with corn hole and basketball games, with a door that opens up to another bar area, with a door that opens up to another wide open space. I would have explored it but by this time my legs were tired and I just wanted a beer.

I've been to a lot of country bars and this one may be one of the nicest. The concert sounded great and everyone was having good time. 10/10 would recommend.

D E: This was our first Springfield Symphony experience! We attended the “Power Ballads” performance (we have become huge fans of the Spyres family over the past few years and try to see them any chance we get!) and it was such an incredible show! We could have listened to the symphony and Spyres’ for hours! So much talent and what an amazing show! Such a powerful performance and great experience! Makes us want to attend more symphony events. PLEASE have the Spyres back again!!
Independent Voter: MASK MANDATES RUIN THIS OTHERWISE GREAT EXPERIENCE! The ONLY thing that needs to change is the mask requirement that was still in effect during their Nov. 6, 2021 performance of Brigadoon, AND continued to be in effect for their March 5 concert. Given the data that exists pertaining to mask usage, mask wearing should be OPTIONAL rather than mandatory.The Springfield Symphony in Springfield, MO has an outstanding core of musicians who have sublime musical talent and chemistry. The Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts, the venue in which they play, is acoustically sound and provides adequate facilities for symphony patrons.Update: After months of forced masking, the self-imposed mask mandate at the Symphony is now gone! Unfortunately, there are still a number of ushers, greeters, patrons, and musicians that are still choosing to wear masks. This is NOT sending a good message to Springfield Symphony patrons who are apparently choosing to stay at home and watch the streamed videos rather than attending the live performances. While we should all respect each individuals personal choice to wear or not wear a mask, there comes a time when we need to stop treating and looking at fellow human beings as lethal germ carriers - and that time is NOW.
