She was also very receptive to some ideas I had for certain poses. She was so organized with all her equipment and very professional. My son was nervous but she really chatted with him from the start and I instantly saw him relax. When my husband and I went to preview the pictures we were blown away by the quality and clarity of every single picture! We hadn’t expected it to be an emotional meeting, but as soon as Lynette started to play the slide show (to music, no less) I had tears running down my face! She really knows how to capture peoples’ personalities in her photography! It was so hard to pick which ones we wanted to keep as they were all so amazing! When we received our final selections, we couldn’t have been happier. And her attention to detail didn’t end with the photo shoot - everything was packaged so beautifully! Charles Jackson: I had the opportunity to visit Randy Bacon's facility at a ManUp event and I was in awe over the testimonies from the individuals whose portraits rest upon his brick walls. As I read through each testimony, I got to about the fourth one and my heart about exploded and tears run down my face. Randy has truly done Justice for each individual's picture that is upon his walls and their stories. I commend him and his work and his facility is first class.

Liz Avants: If I could write a million five star reviews for Abby, I would. She was incredible to work with and is immensely talented. My husband and I hate taking pictures and most photos of us are just awkward. Abby did an incredible job of capturing moments from our wedding day that look effortless and natural. I also have to say that she's skillfully discrete - there were photos from our ceremony that had us both saying "how did she get that" when we looked through our gallery. Her years of experience shine through in how quickly and wonderfully she gets her job done, photos took up a very small portion of the wedding day and we got so many incredible shots back. She turned our gallery around in less than a week. I'm already thinking of what other life milestones I can have Abby take pictures of, just so we can work with her again.

The shoot was at a well-known location in our hometown, but Abby still managed to shoot and edit unique and stunning photos for us.Fast forward from our engagement shoot through COVID, then finally to our wedding photos. COVID was a roller coaster for all of us, but Abby handled it like a champ and I’m so thankful she made things as easy as possible with rescheduling. She was even excited in the end when we canceled the whole wedding and decided on an elopement shoot in Colorado.Aside from her being an amazing photographer, she is great with giving advice when there aren’t people around like wedding planners and she’s just a calm leader on a stressful day. Our wedding photos were incredible and props to her because there was a lot of crying (the happy kind!) and vague planning on our part, but Abby handled us like a pro. Photography is Abby’s craft and calling, and if you ever get a chance to be her client, take it!

Abi is one of the most down-to-earth people I have known for a long time - for just about the entire journey of her passion for photography. Lydia Blevins: Where do I begin! Abigail was the best of the best, truly. We had her photograph our afternoon wedding at the end of August. It was over 100 degrees but the heat index was like 146. But that didn’t stop her from jumping on and off of that shuttle and taking us to her favorite spots on Big Cedar’s property! Also, a worry for some people is the lighting and how well the photos will turn out if you’re in broad daylight — Abigail takes on this challenge with ease and professionalism. The photos we received are just as good if they had been taken during the sunset. From the get-go, she knew what was most important to us and she didn’t fail to incorporate that into our photo package. We wanted quick and easy wedding party photos and more of a selection of just the two of us and that’s exactly what she delivered. She was able to accommodate to our laid back personalities beautifully and really made us feel like we’d known her for years when we really met for the first time that day. I constantly find myself going back to look at our photos and loving them more each time.
Sydney Salmon: I found Abigail Derrick Photography through mutual friends that have taken photos with Abigail. Her photos have always been stunning! We went into taking our photos with little expectations (because we have two toddlers and they don’t stop moving 🙃). Our time got cut short because the toddlers began getting very hot and grumpy. Both of us left feeling a little uneasy because how could there be any good photos with how uncooperative our littles were. We got a few sneak peeks *that* very same evening. Mind you, it was already 6pm when we took our photos. The link to the whole album was sent the very next day with our edited photos. OH my gosh. We were NOT expecting how beautiful they turned out to be. So many stunning photos!! And she was so so quick too. We were incredibly impressed.We will definitely be working with ADP in the future for more family photos (hopefully with more cooperation on our end next time 😬)!
