Summer is a wonderful instructor; patient and motivating. By the end of the class I was throwing pots good enough to give for Christmas presents. Love this place. If you don't have a great time here you probably don't like Disneyland. Enjoy!! Highly recommended

Julia Scott (juliascott dot com): Loved my experience at Springfield Pottery. Not only do they give very affordable classes, you can buy shop time to come here after you've had the classes. Nathan is a great teacher, and all in all this was a fabulous experience. If I were going to commission a piece of pottery to be made, I would have them do it. They also have several very nice pieces for sale.
Jessica Evans: I love supporting local business and especially local artists but I have lost count how many times I've tried to go into this place. There have been several pieces that I have seen in the window that I wanted to look at at but everytime I try/have tried to go in, they are closed. The hours posted on here and their Facebook page don't appear to be accurate considering I've driven by several times during their "open hours" and they have been closed.It's extremely confusing, frustrating and honestly disappointing when you have to play hit or miss with a business.If it's special holiday hours, special hours because of classes, or completely different hours all together, that's fine, but the business needs to make those exceptions/changes known and made clear.Hopefully this issue gets rectified so that more people can support local businesses and artists.

Justin Alexander: I called on 4 different occasions trying to get in touch with them and they either have no voice mail if it’s outside of business hours or they just won’t return calls when I did call during opening hours. As a last resort I have also used their website to send in a form asking a question. No answer with that either. I’ve never actually been inside their business but after experiencing such unprofessional behavior, I’m not interested to.

Kayla Hardy: I have never had a better pottery experience. Nathan and his team spend one on one time with every student. I enjoyed my first session so much I took 2 more sessions. The price of the sessions is more than reasonable. The studio provides you everything you need and teaches you from the ground up. And you're allowed to make and keep as many pieces as you'd like. You can also pay a small fee to come in on the weekends to keep working on your pieces. I was able to make over 7 bowls and 5-6 plates in two sessions. Along with learning wheel they taught hand building too. I have move out of state since and cannot find anything the remotely compares the greatness of Springfield Pottery and Nathan. Wonderful, peaceful, creative and working with highly skilled professionals. I 100% recommend.
Heather Grills: I attended several workshops with both Nathan and guest artists and have purchased gifts there as well. Workshops were excellent and well organized and the selection of ceramic art and fine crafts in the gallery was broad and of high quality.

Sandy Larson: Called on Pro Source to order some tile that I needed ASAP. The salesperson said they had the tile I wanted in stock and could have it for me in a few days. I was so happy! So I placed the order and paid premium for the tile thinking I’d have it in a few days.After about I three days I called to find out when/where I could pick it up, only to be told by a different person that the tile was back ordered. And that it wouldn’t be in for a month!Its been a month today so I called again. This time when I told the person that answered what happened she laughed at me and said “yeah that’s par for the course”. Your tile might be here in a few days. We will call you when it comes in! Wow! Not happy.

I'm used to Village Pottery Cafe, but was nice to visit a new place for us!I'd really like to see more cheap selections so larger families can afford to paint with their kiddos on a budget!

Chris: So I'm driving down the side of the road and I see this company's van quickly whip into a driveway to help a little old lady that couldn't pick up her trash can that had fallen. I find the quickest turnaround spot and come back just as the gentleman is getting into the van but managed to get his attention with a few honks. I asked him his name, he tells me it's Craig. I tell him I'm calling his company to let them know what a wonderful thing I just witnessed. I called the company and asked to speak to the owner and was informed that CRAIG (THE OWNER) was out of the office 😂 what a fine example of a human being and business owner. I imagine it's a pleasure to work with or for him. Excellent job!

Vanessa Verfurth: We paid for our brick for our new house 2 months ago. We were told by our salesman, Jared, that once we paid they would start manufacturing our brick. For 2 months after paying in full for our brick we couldn't get a hold of anyone after multiple phone calls and messages. My husband had to physically go into the store more than once to get a hold of someone. After finally talking to someone, we were told that they did not start manufacturing our brick after we paid for it like the claimed they would and now cannot manufacture the size we already paid for. Supposedly, if we want them to start manufacturing a smaller size we have to pay even more money but they haven't been able to tell us how much more or even waive the additional cost due to their own error. This company has poor customer service and have not only caused us to be past our build schedule but are now wanting more money after their failure to manufacture as promised after our initial payment with absolutely no communication with us letting us know ahead of time. If I could give them less than 1 star I would.

anthony webster: Besides the guy unloading me being a little rude I was able to get right in and get unloaded. They're receiving hours hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.. I arrived at 3:30 pm and had no problem getting unloaded.

Nathan Boulware: As a contractor that prides myself on honesty and integrity, I choose to do buisness with suppliers that share the same values. For this reason I will be buying materials from one of the other many brick suppliers in Springfield. Not only have I had one bad experience, but now I have had two, which both have cost me hundreds of dollars. On the other hand, I have had the pleasure of working with all the salesmen. I would recommend using any salesman in there except Jared.
Precious Blankenship (Presh): Horrible place to unload. I wouldn't bother getting here until after 930 am. They leave you sitting in the street. Almost got rear ended more than once. After they clear enough trucks out to get you in the driveway they are no longer in a hurry to get you out either

He also asked things I hadn’t thought of, to make sure I would get the flooring that was best for my home. I ended up going with a beautiful laminate,Mohawk RevWood, which ended up being a better price and quality than the LVP I started with. The prices and service were top notch, from beginning to end, and in one instance OVER AND ABOVE what was promised. I will definitely use them again based on this experience. We needed the whole interior of the house painted, new carpet in the bedrooms, new ceramic tile for the kitchen floor, and new backsplash to compliment the new granite. We went, multiple times, to a total of five different carpet and flooring companies. To make a long story short, everything we were looking for we found at The Carpet Shoppe. Tina King is outstanding. She was patient, always made herself available, and is extremely knowledgeable. She listened to what we wanted and proceeded to take our vision and make it a reality without any sales pressure. Pricing was very competitive and the installers were top notch. Tina even recommended a painting company to us. So save yourself a lot of running around and go visit Tina at The Carpet Shoppe. You'll be happy you did!
A J: Jeff and his team have been great to work with! We are building a new home and our builder suggested The Carpet Shoppe. They have been very accommodating with helping us pick the flooring for our new home and we are selling our current home and needed some carpet repair and they sent over Paul and Paul was very professional and productive in helping us fix a few areas of carpet.
