I was hired as a sales agent, my job was to take calls from customers who wanted to purchase tickets/passes to attractions or hotels that we offered (at very high prices I might add). I was making decent money. I have never worked at a call center before, but I was making a good amount of sales, and doing my best, learning as I went. A week or so into working there, I was pulled into an office in the middle of my shift, to discuss my position. They wanted to move me to another position (where I would make significantly less money and would be working harder). I tried kindly explaining that I was making sales, and was happy in my position. I basically had no choice in being moved to another department. I worked in the new department for about 2-3 weeks, working hard, on a schedule that changed every week, having to ask for them to print out my schedule so that I actually knew when I worked too. I was paid 9.50$ an hour. They dont work with your hours, your schedule constantly changes, you get many calls a day just to be yelled at, with the constant knowledge that there training a whole new group of trainees that could replace you if you aren't the best employee in the room. Out of the blue on one of my days off, they call me to tell me that my position is no longer available. No further explanation. My commission that I worked very hard for during my employment was lost because they fired me and apparently do not have to give it to me.It was a miserable job. Whatever you do, do not apply to this company, or make any reservations with them. I promise you, its not worth it.
