Cheryl McClease: 1st Choice is always my first choice for a home inspection! Jerry Riley is very professional from his mode of dress to his attitude and demeanor to myself and clients! Mr Riley's reports are easy to read and understand, have pictures that accurately correspond to the comments and are sent within 24 hours and usually sooner. Inspections are thorough from the top of the chimney to the ground of the crawlspace and everything in between. When the clients choose to attend the inspection, their questions are answered calmly and professionally. Hannah Gray: I am so disappointed in the quality of inspection I received. After closing and taking possession of the home we have found that there was a major leak in the kitchen faucet which would have been caught with by simply turning on the kitchen sink and looking beneath the sink. Additionally there are problems with the heating and cooling system of my house as well. None of this was mentioned on my inspection report and these are major things that I would have asked the seller to fix before closing. I absolutely do NOT recommend getting an inspection from 1st choice... it should be nobody’s first choice.Service:Manufactured home inspections

alex parmelee: This company inspected a home I recently purchased. After the sale I detected defective roof structure, a 20+ year old water heater, 3 defective windows. Do not accept a report from this company without verifying he hasn’t missed something. His oversight and my failure to verify his inspection is costing me thousands of dollars.Beware!

Daniel Meacham: Steve Scott performed septic, well, termite, and general inspections on a home and outbuildings my wife and I were in escrow for. Unfortunately, the issues that were discovered were significant and not easily identified during our walk-through of the home. Steve took his time, focused on issues he felt were most important and gave us a thorough report. The house's issues were beyond our ability to negotiate and our ability to repair with our own resources. It's not pleasant to have high hopes for a home to find it isn't going to work out, but Steve's inspections helped us take a step back from the emotions of such a large purchase and make a sound decision for our family to avoid what could have become a financial burden instead of a home. I would hire Mirowski again and I would ask for Steve.

My inspections were very thorough, and the reports revealed many issues I was not aware of from viewing the houses. It definitely helped me feel more informed about the repair and replacement issues I would be getting into with the first house I was planning to buy, the second house which I ended up buying, and empowered me during the buying process. The inspection reports are filled with helpful info and photos. They are quite thorough regarding safety issues and major and/or costly repairs, as well as smaller repairs. Brad Nelson: Marc did an excellent job with our home inspection. He was extremely thorough, explained what he found (in a way that made sense to me), and followed up with a very detailed written report that included lots of pictures and detailed explanations. I would highly recommend him!
