Karly Fischer: I only have good words about this Bridal Boutique! Kaci was absolutely amazing and soo sweet! she really got to know what I wanted and even ended up picking out the dress I said yes too! The set up of the boutique was so cute and welcoming! All in all this will be the boutique I will recommend to any bride!

MICHAEL BUFFINGTON: Not impressed. Took 3 phone calls back and forth to get an appointment scheduled. Was given 3:00, then got called back that it would need to be 4:00… Got to the appointment and the 2 girls at the desk just gestured at the dresses we should look at for our price range, and never even got up. We needed a size 2, but the smallest dress we saw was an 8. I guess that’s the service you get if you just make an appointment, and don’t book an “experience package” and pay $50-$150 to look at their dresses.

Mary T: We won both of our civil court cases against The Dress Bridal, owned by Hannah Diemer.Since making our initial post about Hannah Diemer aka Hannah Moreno and The Dress, we have been contacted by multiple individuals who have had to file civil suits or are considering legal action against this business and/or owner. I wasn’t even going to bother making this post, but those interactions have convinced me to do so in the hopes that others might avoid such entanglements.Long story short - my dress disappeared within the consignment contract period. I inquired about it before the contract ended and was given various evolving stories about what happened to it, and my contract was not honored. The courts decided in our favor.The store owner (Hannah) delayed the case, appealed, complained to the judge that my husband’s online review was unfairly hurting her business, and threatened to accuse us of defamation if we spoke about the case. The facts of the case are public information available on MO Casenet.DM me if you would like to see the evidence we brought to court, which includes photos, our recorded phone conversation with Hannah, receipts, contract, and email correspondence.Before you enter into a contract with any person or business, it’s a good idea to search the business name and the various legal names of the owner on your state’s Casenet database to see if they are frequently engaged in legal battles. I will do so from now on.

Kelly Heard: Beware!!!!A retraction for my previous glowing review based on our first visit and purchase! Everything after was less than impressed with The Dress!!!Still not impressed that they charge for a bridal appt. But then you are told that if you don’t pick up the dress when it comes in within a week that they charge $100/ week to hold the dress. That was inconvenient when we were out of state on vacation. THEN, they want to know if you want to purchase a garment bag for your dress. I asked what it comes in for the almost $1500 I spent. A pink plastic bag. Ok. So unfortunately my daughters wedding was called off. I asked the owner if they would do consignment for this brand new (never tried on) dress. The answer was not only “ No” but that the dress is no longer carried in their store. Really? The dress we just bought 4 months ago and was told was a newer released dress and that is STILL anvailable online from Mon Cheri? Ok.So I take it to another bridal store that does do consignment who also carries the same dress. It was $300 cheaper and still current.Moral of the story. Do not believe what this store says and they are super sweet as long as there is money on the table. Great service is finished after your order!*************This is a beautifully intimate setting, this boutique is perfect for the bride that wants her experience to be special. Hannah is a doll and treated our daughter like the princess she is. The boutique’s inventory is broad and there are lots of style choices.Thank you for making our time there a lovely experience.

makenna davis: It started off a couple days before when I got a text saying it was $25 to confirm my appointment (which I didn’t see that anywhere on the website that I would have to pay). I called the business to confirm and they had me pay over the phone. I have had five appointments at different shops and this was the first and ONLY place to charge me. When I got there there was only one worker that I saw and there was another bride there as well. The worker was rushing around the store and not very friendly/ inviting. Not once did she offer to help me when I was putting on dresses. As a plus size bride I only have so many dresses I can try on to begin with but at this store I only tried on three before I was so discouraged due to not being able to fit in most that I had pulled from the rack. After paying $25 and spending no more than 15 minutes in the store I left.

The whole experience was amazing, and the feel of the boutique is intimate and laid back , not commercialized at all. I found the dress of my literal dreams after trying on only 2 others. We were helped by Ellie who was an extremely kind and courteous consultant! She was fun and responsive to all our questions, and had great taste in dresses!2. They had a decent selection in my price range, so that was great! But the one dress I truly liked was too small. I would have had to spend more to order it in my size, so that was a bummer!3. We paid extra for the VIP Experience and it was cute! For the price I think I expected a bit more, but it was super cute and I liked the privacy we got. The girls had a blast!4. My only negative comment is that I am neurodivergent so I was quick to get sensory overload. By the end I felt bad because I know Ellie was expecting a certain reaction but I was beginning to have a small panic attack. Nothing on her at all, she was wonderful. To fellow people susceptible to sensory overload, just know the wallpaper is busy, the lights are bright, the sparkling grape juice is sweet, and after 4:00 pm the setting sun shines directly into the shop and into your eyes. So take your beta blockers, take small breaks in between dresses, and ask for water!! That was my biggest mistake, I should have stuck to water.All in all, I absolutely love Gracies Bridal and hopefully will love the seamstress when my dress comes in!

I was never pressured and actually encourage by staff to take my time and think about a dress I fell in love with. I knew it was the one and could have purchased it from the second salon, but the customer service did not compare at all. I drove right back to Gracie's to get the dress of dreams. Jessica Bell: I highly recommend MK Bridal. From start to finish my experience with them was phenomenal. Setting an appointment was quick an easy. They have a large selection of dresses in store and are more than willing to find a dress that is very similar fit to what they have in their catalog if they don't have it in stock. I was lucky that they had my top few picks in store. I never felt pressured and they were very balanced in being helpful but also respectful of allowing me my own time to look through dresses at my leisure. Likewise, there was another lady in there one of the times I was in there that you could tell wanted them to be more involved (offering opinions and suggestions) and they were happy to oblige. So, either way, if your more like me and like to look on your own or are wanting to have someone assist you all the way through the process they have you covered and are good at reading people.There was one issue with the first dress I had picked out, which was not even by a fault of theirs I don't think, and they handled it wonderfully. The original dress I had picked out was actually my second favorite. My top pick was slightly out of budget taking into consideration I would need alterations. My second favorite though we went ahead and ordered but then later found out that because of the shipping and material issues a lot of places are currently having in the wake of Covid, it would not be ready in time for my wedding. One of the ladies called me and explained the situation, was sincerely apologetic, and then to rectify the situation she helped me get my favorite gown closer to my budget to make up for the error.Of course, this was a unique situation, I'm sure they lost a little money on the gown and really don't have much wiggle room on prices but it really showed great customer service and willingness to work with bride to make her happy and it most definitely did. I had so many complements on my gown. Everyone said it was one of the most unique and beautiful gowns they had ever seen.I don't have a lot of self confidence. I'm in my mid thirties, have had a child and it shows. I'm no size 4 or even 14 for that matter and very self conscious. I always feel so frumpy. But from start to finish every person I worked with at MK Bridal was so encouraging and helpful and for once I really did feel beautiful. Not to mention the lady who does alterations there did a fantastic job as well. I would recommend using her as well because aside from knowing what she's doing, it made it all so much more convenient.I am more than pleased that I went with MK Bridal for my wedding dress and they helped me make my dream wedding come true. My only regret is that I didn't have the photographer take MORE pictures of me in this beautiful gown with out the bouquet so you could really see it in all it's glory and detail.

Shelby: I really hate leaving negative reviews, but I cannot believe that this bridal shop has higher reviews than the others I went to in Springfield. This is the second of three bridal shops I went to in search for a wedding dress. I did not feel like the staff wanted to be there at all. I was not asked about what styles I like or helped to pick out dresses. The majority of the dresses I tried on were WAY too small, and I’m not a “big” girl at all( size 6-8 in jeans for reference). I would hate for a bride to start at this shop and feel bad about herself because the dresses run so small! My appointment was for two hours and I left within 30 minutes. Just did not feel comfortable or valued at all in this shop. Sorry for negative feedback, just wanted girls to be aware!

I think the guy Noah who was helping us out gave her so many options she didn’t even know what to do with and it was fantastic. They had a very diverse pallet of colors and styles that I think that there is something for everybody there! The rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful too and will definitely be back with my sister for her next special occasion.

Mackenzie Williams: I usually don’t have a terrible experience here but today was another story. I came in to return things I had gotten for my birthday in December. I didn’t have my receipt as they were gifts and understand each store has their own return policies which isn’t an issue. The worker was rude as soon as I walked up the counter. I explained I was returning two items with no receipts and they still had the tags so she asked which day exactly I bought them. I explained they were gifts so I had no idea so she repeated multiple times she would have to go through each transaction for all 31 days of December. I understand the frustration, I would have taken store credit or whatever the case. My boyfriend mentioned it may have been the first week of December and she told me it would be too late since it was after their 30 days, but I told her I wasn’t sure what day exactly as I hadn’t bought them like I stated. She proceeded to tell me there were over 1,000 transactions and it would take a long time, rolling her eyes, and that I could just sell them on Facebook marketplace instead. I gathered my clothes she had taken out of the bag and was walking out the store when the other girl in there approached me from one of the clothings racks appearing to be hiding from her coworker and apologized for her saying she had “been in a mood all day.” It’s embarrassing when your coworker has to apologize for how rude you are to customers. I ended up not returning the items as she was not willing to do so and the potential of them being bought more than 30 days ago as she essentially refused to check.

Shayne Williams: I've had nothing but good experience from this place. Except this time. The people were friendly but I had multiple problems for my wedding tuxedos. One of my groomsman's shoes had the heal flapping around. The ties just about didn't make it in time. Stains on some of the sleeves.

Tony Wahl: This place is the best! I was able to go in and ten minutes later I was able to rent a suit jacket at a reasonable price! Do not get scared off due to the location or the smallness of the business. They also do dry cleaning! This is the best place in the area to rent a jacket in a pinch!

Very quick for measurements and fitting so you could stop on lunch or on your way home from work and it won't take long at all. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for wedding attire or just want a suit/tux.
